Chapter 1: Welcome to the Hunt.
Time: 23 years after the Nightmare Moon Battle.
Location: Whitetail Forest.
Today was one of these days again. Well actually it is Night Time right now and the Moon hung in the Sky in all of its glory.
But I can't spare a glance towards it because I was fleeing yet again. The Ponies that chased me are close behind me, but I am faster. I can hear shouts of anger and death wishes, all of them directed to me.
But i don't care about such words anymore. In the flow of time you get used to it. I still run through the thicket of the forest. I believe the name was Whitetail Forest.
But i don't care about that right now because a Crossbow bolt ripped right into a tree mere inches away from my face.
"Damn I didn't get her, another bolt." Came an almost gravel like Voice from behind me.
“Bucking Unicorns and their Magic, they can easily aim while they run because they can levitate their tools.” was all i can think about.
I ran straight into a clearing with a silent little pool in the middle. The Moon reflected on it like a Mirror.
I looked at it for just a few seconds and lost my concentration... and tripped over a stone.
I fell on my face while i felt a painful crack in my right foreleg. I cried out while i stood up again. It was a torture but I wanted to live so i decided to keep walking even when it hurts.
"Hah, that abomination tripped. Get her she can't run that fast anymore." It was the same Voice again.
I gritted my teeth while I try to ignore the pain. But not for long, because an Bolt shot right into my left foreleg which caused me to fall again.
I can feel a warm liquid running down the leg. I tried to get up again but to no use, I remained on the ground.
I know that i can't run away anymore so I decided to crawl towards the little pool of water.
The Ponies hunting me are still far away but I can hear their every word as if I would stand right next to them.
"She cant get up, GET HER. NOW OR NEVER." Damn that annoying gravelly voice.
I made it to the lake. I smiled because I can have one last look off myself.
My fur was an soft nut brown, I had deep blue eyes almost as blue as the Ocean, my Mane and Tail are colored in a deep crimson and black, I had black drawings under both of my eyes. And the last thing about me was my smile with two sharp, dagger like teeth in my jaw. They are not very long but still noticeable by anypony who looks closely.
By the description I gave you now you may noticed that I am a Thestral. A race of Bat like Ponies created by Princess Luna and turned into a deadly weapon by Nightmare Moon. Your next question might be: Where are your Bat-Wings? or Why don't you have Catlike eyes?.
To answer all of your Questions I have an simple yet logical answer to all of you. Do we really have to look the same?
There aren't just the Pegasus Thestrals (Which is your Standard Night Guard ), there are also Unicorn Thestrals and Earth Pony Thestrals ( Like me).
Each of the Thestral Races has its own abilities. But that is not important right now because the Ponies chasing me are slowly surrounding me from all sites.
“Gave up, Eh? Well fine for me, Finish that Demon and let's get home.” There were shouts of agreement and much more cheers.
A single tear fell down my cheek and landed on the surface of the water disturbing the image of the Moon.
I silently whispered in my silent calming Voice which was like a feather, tingling the ears of the listener. But nopony heard me because of their cheering. "Oh, Mother Night, pleas help your hurt Child and save me from the cruelty of those heartless Monsters."
The Image of the Moon glowed softly, before a pair of hooves entered my vision. I looked up at the owner of these Hooves. "Prepare to die Harlot."
The owner of the Gravelly voice again? Is he the Only one that talks here?
Doesn't matter anymore, because he raises his sword. I closed my eyes and looked to the ground accepting my defeat.... No my death.
I waited for the impact, but it never came.I opened my eyes to look at the Sword wielding Unicorn. But Instead I was surrounded by darkness.
"I-Is this... Death?" Was all I asked before an all too familiar voice answered.
"Nah i don't think so. I just teleported you out of the way."
I groaned. "Please don`t be who I think you are."
"What aren't you Happy to hear old Blades voice again." I can almost feel the big cheeky grin on the Unicorn Thestrals face.
"I am grateful for your help but don't think I forgave you for what you did 25 years ago, Lieutenant Nightmare Blade."
I blinked and then looked around to see that I was in a Cave. What I also can see is the grinning Unicorn in front of me.
He had a spiked two colored Mane The main color a deep blue and the second one a sickly light green color, his fur color had a soft light purple touch, he had Eyepatch over a blue eye while the other eye was visible and in a crimson color, he wore a single grey colored horseshoe, he had a Cutie Mark that resembles a Blood Patch with a black crescent moon in it like me he has two sharp teeth in his jaw.
He just smiled and laughed silently. "I am grateful for your words, Admiral Blue Lily."
I hissed at him. "You know as good as I do that this is the past."
"Oh, but that is why they drive you out of every Town you go. Ponies remember, you know." His grin only grew in size.
"Shut your mouth."
"But when I do that who is going to tell you why you are here."
I snorted. "Alright, Talk."
"Our dear Mother decided to listen to your plea."
"What are you talking about." I was confused and interested at the same time.
"It means you shall go to sleep."
As if on command I fell to my side while my Vision was filled with darkness. "Bastard when i get my hooves on you you're a dead stallion."
I heard his chuckle while I slowly drifted away. "I can't wait until we meet again."
Just wait you Bastard, just wait.
"Come my Child. Come and play with me."
Chapter 2: The Cave near the Hollow Shades.
Location: Old Castle of the Royal Pony Sisters
Time: Nightmare Moons defeat Luna's return
{Third Perso-- eeh Pony}
The shattered Elements which were floating around the five Ponies known as: Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, Pinkie Pie and Rarity.
The Shards of the Elements formed necklaces around their necks. Another Element which came out of thin Air formed a Tiara on the Head of the Unicorn known as Twilight Sparkle.
The Dark Alicorn known as Nightmare Moon, had a look of fear on her Face. She grimaced as she cast one last Spell. “If I fall you shall awake, my Child.”
Nightmare Moon prepared a counter to the Rainbow beam which was now flying towards her. The Spell Nightmare Moon had in store shattered from the pure force of the Elements.
She gave out a howl of pain and fear while the Rainbow consumed the darkness in a swirling Vortex. “Avenge me my Child. Haunt the lives of those who defeated me!”
After the Rainbow vanished the form of a small Alicorn was lying on the Floor beneath shattered pieces of Armor.
Location: Cave near Hollow Shades
Time: The next Night
{First Pony: Blue Lily}
“Avenge me my Child.”
I turned to my left while giving out a low grumble which would have made an Ursa Major proud. I scrunched my muzzle up. A bit of dust made its way into my nostrils, which caused me to sneeze loudly.
I slowly got up from where I was lying and started opening my eyes by rubbing them a bit. I scanned my surroundings while mumbling. “Stupid Dusty old Caves….….? Wait…. Why am I in a Cave, last time I checked I was in the Whitetail Forest or was it Woods? Uuuhg…. I can't remember.”
“ Haunt the lives of those who defeated me! ”
“Huh? Who is there?” I got into a Combat position ready to charge the source of the Voice. “Come out I am not afraid of you.” No answer. I waited for a little longer. When no answer came I decide to look at the Life around me by activating an ability of mine.
“Let's see…. Plant, Plant, Rabbit, Plant, Owl, Plant, Plant, Plant, Timberwolf, Plant.” I whispered to myself. “Huh? Must have imagined things.” I look around again, memory after memory returned to me.
I let out a small growl. “When I get my Hooves at you Blade, your a dead Stallion.” I thought about how to torture him when I decided to check my gear.
“Hmmmm, lets see. Cloak: Check, Goggles: Check, Boots: Check, Vest: Check, Saddlebag: Check, four Daggers: Check, Poisoned Darts: Check, Books: Check, Scars: Check, Family Token: Check, Bag filled with Bits: Check, Bag filled with Gems: Che-- Hold a second I didn't have a Bag of Gems before. What else do I have extra?” I Quickly began searching through my Saddlebags. “Alright seems like I also have: A Note, a Sword made out of… IS THAT MOONLIGHT FORGED STEEL?!?......Well it is mine now so I don't think I should care much about how I got that. What else do I have? A few Bottles filled with what I believe is Blood and a Map…… Hmmm, seems like I have everything and much more.” I put everything back into my Saddlebag except for the Sword and the Map.
“Hmmm…. I don't remember Manehatten being this big, when I think about it I don't know most of these Places……. Ugh I just need to find out where I am.”
I looked at the Map and noticed something that wasn't there before. “What the--

Oh, Blade when I see you again you are going to be so dead that you'd wish you would be deader than you are now” The last few words were almost roared. I started punching the Wall in front of me rapidly. I punched the Wall so hard and powerful that chunks and pieces of stone and rocks shot in different directions of the cave like little projectiles.
After a few Minutes later a small hole appeared. I turned around and gave it one strong kick with my hind legs which caused the Wall to collapse. Fresh Air rapidly filled the cave.
I closed my eyes and Inhaled deeply. I've calmed down after a few minutes of inhaling and exhaling. I didn't open my eyes while listening to my surroundings. I heard all the noises in the radius of a mile clearly. After a little while I heard noise which sounded strangely like talking. It was about two and a half miles away and to my left.
I opened my eyes and started trotting towards the noise.
I took notice on the flora and fauna around me. It was astonishing. I started to listen to the small and big things around me, it was beautiful. I enjoy every second of it.
After a little while I finally got to the source of the conversation. It was an dark Town… Well it was Nighttime after all. “This Town surely will look lovely during Daytime.”
I spotted a few Ponies chatting with each other, four to be exact all Earth Ponies. I weighed my decisions, go into Town and ask nicely for directions or try to find things out on my own…..
“Eh, what's the worst that can happen.”
I step out of the Forest and approached the Group. They heard me and turned their Heads in my direction. I waved at them and smiled, while hiding my fangs.
I opened my mouth to say something but the only Mare in the Group was faster. “Hello there Traveler, what brings you here to Hollow Shades during this late Hour?”
I smiled again -still hiding my fangs- and replied. “I would like to ask for directions and for a Place to stay until the afternoon….. Oh and my name would be--” The mare cut me off mid sentence.
“No need to tell me your name when you're staying for such a short amount of Time. And about directions…. where do you want to go my dear?”
I gave another small smile while I pulled out my Map. I opened it up and gawked. “The Marker moved with me? What is this Blade shoved into my Bag a Magical Map or something like that?” I shake my head. “Anyways, I need to go to....” I look at the Map.
“ Ponyville ”
“I need to go to Ponyville.” I don't know why I said that but I think that would be the best.
The mare smiled. “Aah, Ponyville. We once had a little Filly that came from there. Poor dear didn't know where she was…. But enough of that. Ponyville is in this direction you can walk there or wait for the next Train which should arrive in about three days and about where you can stay, well you can stay at the Tavern. They currently have an Room spare.”
I gave a small nod. “Thank you kindly but I think I will be faster walking there.”
“As you wish. Follow me the Tavern is this way.” I nod again and follow her.
I checked in and entered the Room they offered me. I put my Saddlebag next to the small bed. I lay myself on the Bed and immediately fell asleep.
