The elevator didn't stop, it just kept going and going. The pony looked around and saw an old pony with short grey hair and a black sleek suit, sitting behind a table with blue cloth on it. Next to the old pony was a slender pony with yellow eyes, grey hair, and blue clothes. "Welcome to the Velvet room." The old pony spoke. "I am Igor and my assistant next to me is Elizabeth. You are about to embark on a long journey full of many choices, but first, let us see what the cards hold for you." Igor said as he picked up some cards and laid them on the table. One by one, certain cards flipped on their own. "The leaning tower, the full moon, and the arrow of cupid. My, my, you seem to have a lot of friendship in your future, but also a lot of danger. But do not worry about it right now, just go and make sure that you never lose hope." Igor said. as the pony's vision started going black. "If you ever have need of us again, you are welcome to come and visit." Elizabeth said. "Oh and one more thing before you go, you will need to understand that failure will have dire consequences for your journey." Igor said, then the pony's vision went completely black. //-------------------------------------------------------// Moving in (Star's P.O.V) //-------------------------------------------------------// Moving in (Star's P.O.V) I woke up on a bus on my way to a new dorm for my school, I didn't like how I had to move to a new place just to go to school, but I didn't really mind, I had a new school, and it was cool how princess Celestia specifically chose me to go to this school, but it was still weird. "You're about to embark on a long journey." I said quietly to myself. "what does that mean, and was that even a dream it felt so, real." I shook my head and gave my face a light smack "Can't worry about that now Star, new highschool, new living space, and hopefully new friends." "Final Stop, Canterlot prep." The bus driver said. "Looks like my stop." I got my stuff together and hopped off the bus but then soon realized that I was the only student onboard. I looked around and saw the entrance to the dorms that I would be staying in, not wasting a second I walked inside. "Hello! is this the dorms for Canterlot prep?" I yelled out. "Yes!" Called a voice from the back, a small pony with the same grey hair, and yellow eyes as Elizabeth came running down the hall with a checklist in his hands. He was wearing a uniform which I assumed to be the school uniform. "I'm North Frost i'm currently the only one here right now, but I can help get you checked in." He said. "Cool thanks." I replied, he then led me to the check-in desk. "Just sign your name and grade here." he said. I then signed my name and put down my grade. "Well now follow me and I can get you to your room." he said and led me down the hallway he came running down. He brought me to the second floor and opened a room. I looked inside the room and saw it had a twin bed, a desk, a window with curtains, and a closet. "Hey thanks." I said as I turned to face him he was suddenly gone. I looked down both ends of the hall to see where he went but he just seemed to disappear. I decided to unpack everything and get settled in, so when I was done I could explore and check out my surroundings. Once I finished unpacking It was night so but that didn't stop me from heading out to explore, I first looked at the time to see how late I would be out. "It's eleven right now, so i'll be back by one." I said to myself as I headed out, but I first noticed a gun under my desk. "What, a gun? what is this for? is it for students to protect themselves if someone tries to attack them?" I picked up the gun and the holster that was next to it and hoked it to my pants. "Not exactly the kind of style I like, but hey if it''s for protection it's for protection." I then left the dorm. Walking around for a while I saw that it was really dark and decided to head back to the dorm but on my way there I heard a bell ringing. It made me dizzy and the world around me started to change. The sky became purple, the moon became red, and the buildings started to look distorted. "What the hell?" I thought to myself. I fell to my knees and flapped my wings to try to fly, but it didn't work I was stuck on the ground. Dizzy and not able to fly I stood back up and started walking when I heard crying from a small distance away. Not thinking about it I ran to the crying, and wanting protection I pulled out the gun I had found in my room. I found a convenience store and kicked through the door and looked around. "H-hey over here." I heard a voice call from the corner of the store. I went to the corner and saw a pony wearing a black shirt and blue jeans in the corner crying, he also had a blue and burgundy mane with his bangs covering one eye. "Umm, are you okay?" I asked the pony. "No i'm not okay, I was just walking to the dorm cause i'm a new student and then bam, monsters everywhere." He said. "Monsters?" I asked with confusion. I don't remember there being monsters, or anypony else for that matter. "Listen my name's StarFly, what's yours?" "I'm Crescent Blade." He replied. "Okay, nice to meet you, but listen we should head to the dorm before these monsters attack us." I said with doubt about the monsters actually being real. "Sure." Crescent stood up and saw the gun in my hand. "Whoa you have a gun, you could kill the monsters if they try to attack us." "Umm yeah sure, i'll kill any monsters that attack us." I said as I walked out of the store with Crescent close behind. We walked in silence, the sensation of danger slowly overwhelming us, we were both scared to death, we didn't know what lied ahead for us, but just as it seemed we were in the clear, a huge monster crashed through a wall making us both jump back. The monster looked like a weird statue, it had cracks in it's body, and seemed to be bleeding. "Oh shit, shoot it." Crescent said. On instinct I started to shoot at the monster, but nothing was happening. the monster grabbed us both and lifted us off the ground. Constricting us I could feel the breath get taken out of me I was gasping for breath to no avail, I was going to die. "The gun." I heard a voice say in my head. "point the gun at your head, and shoot." Not thinking twice I pointed the gun at the side of my head. "Dude what are you doing?" Crescent yelled at me. I was trembling and scared, screaming I pulled the trigger, I felt a pain shoot through my body, it was a tingling sensation unlike anything I have felt before, it spread throughout my body, but I wasn't dead, instead a new monster appeared and broke us free from the monster's grasp. The monster that saved us looked a bit like me, it had my same green and blue hair, it also had wings like me, and in it's hand was a sword. "Thou art I, I art thou, thou has been blessed with the power of one's heart, the persona Zi." I heard the same voice in my head again. "Giga Punch!" I yelled not knowing what it meant it just came out, and as if I was controlling the thing that broke us free, the thing punched straight through the monster and they both disappeared. Not knowing what happened or how it happened I collapsed, exhausted from the ordeal, and from being near death I woke up back in my dorm room and I felt terrible, I didn't have the slightest idea as to what the hell happened, but I laid there hoping it was a dream. I looked out my window and saw canterlot castle in the distance, and outside near the front of the dorm I saw some students at the front door. "Persona, monsters, and a gun that doesn't kill me." I said aloud to myself. "if mom and dad were to see this i'd be grounded right away." I got changed into new clothes and headed downstairs to greet the students. When I got downstairs the students were all staring at me, there was a purple unicorn, and yellow pegasus, an orange pegasus, a grey unicorn, and a grey pegasus. "Who are you and what are you doing in here?" Asked the purple pony. "I'm StarFly, and i'm a new student here." I replied the ponies looked at my belt and saw the gun that I still had on me. "Oh I see you're a member of S.E.E.S my mistake, i'm Twilight Sparkle." Said the purple pony. "I'm Flash Sentry." Said the orange pegasus. "Thunderbolt Sentinel." Said the yellow pegasus. "I'm Swirl." Said the grey Unicorn. "And i'm Silver Wing." Said the grey pegasus. Crescent blade came downstairs wiping his eyes. "The hell is going on down here?" Crescent asked. "Oh, there's another one." Twilight said in amusement. "So these two must have the potential." Sentinel said. "P-potential?" Crescent and I asked in unison. "They don't know about the potential, then maybe they aren't new members." Flash said. "Persona." I said and the ponies went quiet. "So they do know." Swirl said. "Well atleast one of them does." Silver Wing said. "What's the potential?" Crescent asked. "Come over to the dining room, i'll explain it to you." Twilight said. "So basically that's it, the power to summon a thing called a persona?" Crescent asked. "Yeah pretty much." Sentinel said. "It's much more complex than that, you see when it strikes midnight then a hidden hour in witch normal ponies can't function in arises, it's called the Nightmare Hour. And with the power of personas we are able to destroy these monsters called shadows." Twilight said. "Seems simple enough." I said. "Oh hey, StarFly Called forth his persona last night, he also took down a shadow in one hit." Crescent said. "Really?" Twilight said in amusement. "Judging from that we should make you the leader of this group." Flash said. "Whoa wait-" I started. "Yeah and while we're on the subject mind if I join?" Crescent asked. "That's up to Star." Swirl sad. "Sure you can join, but you'll need one of these." I Said as I pulled out my gun. "Yeah I saw one of those in my room, but wait look these guys have actual weapons." Crescent said. "Oh right, you'll need weapons to fight the shadows for when you're out of S.P." Twilight said. Twilight lead Crescent and I to a back room with some weapons inside of it. "take your pick boys." Twilight said. I looked around the room at the many weapons, there was swords, bows, spears, and knives. "I pick this." Crescent said as he picked up a two handed sword which he held like a baseball bat. I kept looking around for a weapon myself until I found a nice looking sword and picked it up. "This one's mine." I said as I swung it to get a feel for it. "Great, welcome to the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad." Twilight said. "or S.E.E.S for short." //-------------------------------------------------------// First day (Crescent's P.O.V) //-------------------------------------------------------// First day (Crescent's P.O.V) After Twilight welcomed Star and I to S.E.E.S we set our weapons and the guns in our dorm rooms and went to school. "Hey Star, wonder if we'll be in the same class?" I asked. "I don't know, but it would be nice to have a class with a familiar friend." Star replied. I gave him a smile. "Hey think I have a chance with Swirl?" I whispered to him. "No." He replied bluntly. "Didn't have to be that harsh dude." I said with a small look of sadness. "Sorry, just saying it how I see it." "Jeez." We both got to our class and low and behold we were in the same class. "Okay class welcome the two new students StarFly, and Crescent Blade." The teacher said. Star and I took our seats He got a seat in the back of class but I got one in the front so we couldn't speak to each other. I was taking notes for the history class when the teacher called on me. "Crescent please tell me what it was that made the wonderbolts come to be?" The teacher asked, I was standing there thinking when I saw a note under my desk. I read it and saw the answer for the question. "Nightmare moon appearing." I said and looked at Star knowing he somehow got that note to me. "Very good." The teacher had me sit down and continued to teach the class. I wasn't really paying attention to what she was saying but I was reading this manga under my desk, and the teacher didn't seem to notice. After the classes we had lunch I noticed that Star was sitting alone so I decided to go sit next to him. "Hey Star." I said to him as I sat down next to him. "Oh hey Crescent." He said with a very bored tone. "So did you see how hot Swirl, Silver, and twilight are?" I asked him. He looked at me and then went back to looking at the ground. "So you're not into that sorta thing?" "No I just need to get to know them." Star said while he shifted his gaze towards me. "So I don't go flirting with  girls that are hot looking." I could feel that we were getting closer as friends. I heard a buzzing and it made me feel sick. It was terrible and it seemed to be affecting Star as well. "Hey dude you okay?" I asked Star as he held his head. "Yeah, i'm fine just, got dizzy nothing to worry about." After he said that the buzzing stopped and I wasn't feeling dizzy anymore. "Okay if you say so, oh did you hear a buzzing sound?" I asked. "Yeah I did, and it made me dizzy." He replied. "The same with me!" I said. "Do you think it has something to do with the potential?" I asked. "Maybe, but we won't be sure if we don't ask the others first." Star replied. After school Star and I went back to the dorm to ask the others, but when we got there nopony was there at all. "Hey anypony home?" I yelled out. "I don't believe that you have to yell." Star said. "Well I wanted to see if anypony was home okay?" I said slightly pissed at him. "I just don't need your screaming in my ear." He said while walking away. "Hey where do you think you're going?" I asked. "I'm heading to the back room, I think I'll switch my weapon from this short sword to something more refined, like a katana." Star said as he waved and went to the back. I stood in the lobby all alone, it made me feel sad. I didn't like being alone so I decided to get some sleep and wait for the nightmare hour. So I went up to my room and went to bed. "So this tower's tartarus?" I asked. "That is correct, it's where most of the shadows come from." Twilight said. "If it's where most of the shadows come from then how come I fought one outside of the tower?" Star asked. "Some Shadows are strong enough to escape from tartarus." Flash replied. "Make sense I guess." Star Said. We all then walked inisde of tartarus to start our fight against the nightmare hour. We were walking around on the first floor I was wondering if I had the potential to be a persona user. "Hey Crescent what's wrong?"  Star asked me, I didn't realize it till just then but I had a sad look on my face. "Nothing, i'm just fine." I replied to him knowing that was a lie. "It doesn't look that way." Star said while putting his hand on my back. "Okay fine, I just don't know whether or not I have the potential, like you guys do." I said while looking at the ground. "Hey listen when we see a shadow we'll let you try to summon your persona, okay?" Star turned my head to look at his face and he was giving me a smile that said everything's going to be fine. "Yeah okay." I said while I picked myself up and stayed ready for a fight. I looked around and saw a door that was seeming to call me towards it, I couldn't help myself I started walking towards it and reached my hand out to open it. "Wait don't open tha-" Twilight started to say, but before she could finish I opened the door and a huge wave of shadows came at all of us. The shadows swarmed the others but seemed to leave me alone like I wasn't there at all. "Dammit." Sentinel said as he started to punch the shadows. "They have us pinned." Twilight said. The shadows were overwhelming the others, they tried using their personas but for every shadow they beat another took its place. I was panicking I didn't know what to do, I swung my sword at the shadows but my attack went right through them. "Crescent the gun!" Star yelled at me. I was panicking so I grabbed the gun and started to shoot at the shadows which didn't work either. "Don't shoot the gun at the shadows idiot, aim it at your head and shoot yourself." Flash said. "But I don't have the potential." I said while I started to cry, my new friends were going to die and it was going to be my fault. "Trust your heart." I heard a voice say. I aimed the gun at my head and yelling I pulled the trigger. A creature appeared, it was a pony standing in the center of a wheel and fire all around it. "Combustion wave!" I yelled, the creature spun the wheel and flames engulfed the shadows taking them all out and saving my friends. "Crescent you did it." Swirl congratulated me. "Malho, my persona." I said while looking at my persona with a smile. "Yes yes good work, now we need to hurry back to the dorm." Twilight said, after that we all ran outside and headed to the dorm. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Battle (Silver Wing's P.O.V) //-------------------------------------------------------// The Battle (Silver Wing's P.O.V) We where walking through tartarus trying to find the shadow, I was getting seriously tired and wanted to go back home. "Why the hell can't we find it?" Crescent yelled. He was also making this weird face that kinda scared me. "I don't know, it's so big that you'd expect to find it right away." Twilight said. She was right, the last time we went to fight it, it was huge, it also had some attacks that we couldn't block, it managed to knock everyone out so I had to carry them back to the dorm. "Don't give up, we'll fins it, I just know we will." Star said. He was a great leader, he was able to cheer everypony up when he encouraged them, I mean sure he only joined the group a couple days ago but he was a nice guy, and very handsome. "He's right,if we continue to lose hope then we won't accomplish anything." Sentinel said. "Hey Silver, you still can't summon your persona right?" Flash asked. "Yeah I can't, which is odd, since it seems that only ponies that can summon their persona can function during the Nightmare Hour." I replied. "Maybe i'll never be able to summon it." "Hey don't lose hope, I bet that if we get in some serious trouble then you'll be able to summon your persona." Star said as he patted me on my back. I didn't know what it was with him, but he made me feel better, like he was a natural born leader. "Yeah." I straightened myself. "Thanks for that." "Hey no need to thank me, just know that you do have the potential, how else could you function in the Nightmare Hour." Star said. "He's right, if I didn't have the potential then I wouldn't be able to function right now." I thought to myself. "It's quite odd if you ask me." I told him. "Well let's just hope that we don't get into trouble." Star said as he looked around in a panic. Completely denounced  to us we didn't realize it till then but we got separated from the others. "W-where did the others go?" I asked him. "I don't know, but i'm sure we'll find them before something bad happens." He started to walk down a hallway. "So let's go." We where walking for awhile and where were getting no closer to the others. "Do you think we'll ever find them?" I asked wondering if we would be trapped here forever. "I know we'll find them, we just need to keep looking." He said, he didn't even sound scared. I was doubting if we would ever find the others but I knew as long as Star was with me we wouldn't be in any danger. "Wait." He said as he had me stop. "What it it?" I asked. "You hear that?" He asked me. I was hearing something, it was like the ocean I loved the sound of the waves usually, but this time it made me feel terrible. It reminded me that if we didn't make it out then we'd never get to see anypony else ever again. "It's the ocean." I said. "When was the last time there was an ocean in the canterlot?" He asked. It made me realize that it was one of Twilight's attacks. "Twilight." I said. "Exactly, we're heading in the right direction, let's go." He grabbed my hand and we started running towards the sound. "Sentinel keep up your earth attacks, Crescent more fire, Flash, and Swirl, Wait till the other's catch up and can give you something to heal your wounds." I heard twilight say. We ran through a door and saw the others fighting the misto shadow. "Guys!" Star yelled at them. They then looked at us and twilight motioned for us to come and help. "What's going on?" I asked. "Well we found the Msito shadow, but our attacks aren't working." Twilight said. "That's terrible." Star said. "Well since we don't know what attacks work we'll just need to keep going." Star then turned to me. "Silver you stay out of the way so that you don't get hurt." "Right." I said as I ran out of harms way. "Flash, Swirl, get over to Silver, she'll heal you and refill your S.P, Sentinel switch to using physical attacks to save S.P, and Crescent, do what you need to." Star commanded. They all did as they where told. When Swirl and Flash got to me I got out a soothing balm and rubbed it on them and they looked like they felt much better. "Thanks." Flash said. "Okay Swirl, Flash, since you're now healed switch out with Crescent and Sentinel, so they can heal." Star said. "Right." Flash and Swirl said. They then took Crescent, and Sentinel's places so that they would be able to heal. I was standing there watching the battle, constant switch outs and them running out of S.P it was devastating, we where running out of soothing balms and medicine. It was looking as though they where going to die. "hnng!" Star grunted as he was tossed into the wall next to me. "At this rate we'll all be dead." He said as he ran back into battle. "Oh my gosh, what can I do to help, I can't keep still and just heal them, but I can't fight either." I said to myself. "Stare at the enemy." A voice told me from out of nowhere. I then did what the voice told me and stared at the Misto shadow. "wha!" I yelled. I was able to see information about the shadow, I saw it's strengths and it's weakness. "Hey Silver, look behind you!" Star yelled at me. I then looked behind me and saw a beautiful looking mare putting a halo around my head. "Fisa." I said. "My persona." "What does it do?" Star yelled again "I-I don't know, but I am seeing the Misto shadow's weakness." I said. "So it gives us information, quickly what's it's weakness?" "Lightning." I said. "Great, now I can take it down." Star said as he looked back at the Misto shadow. "Great Lightning!" Star yelled, he shot himself in the head and his persona Zi appeared. In a flash of light Zi brought down a great bolt of lightning that crashed straight into the Misto shadow. The Misto shadow stopped moving but it didn't disappear. "It's paralyzed!" I yelled out. "Great, everypony rush it!" Star yelled. All at once everpony else ran towards the Misot shadow, and started to strike it relentlessly. After the bruta assault the Misto shadow was looking pretty beat. "It's low on Stamina, one more solid attack should take it down." I said. "Leave that to me!" Star yelled, he then jumped high into the air. "You can do it!" We all cheered him on. Star then started falling towards the Misto shadow and was ready to swing. "I hope you're ready for this you bastard!" Star yelled as he flew right past the Misto shadow and then landing on the ground, and right after that the Misto shadow exploded into nothingness. "Check mate." Star said as he walked towards us. "Great work everyone, that's one down." He said with a smile. "That was awesome." I said. "Yeah it really was, dude how did you learn to do that?" Crescent asked. "I dunno, it just sorta came naturally." Star said. "It was impressive, but we should really get out of here before it becomes one o'clock." Twilight said. "Right." We all replied, and started to run out of tartarus. We all go to the dorms after the Nightmare Hour had passed, and we all gathered in the lobby. "Here's to a successful attack on the Nightmare hour." Star said as he held up a glass of cider. "Cheers!" We all said and then took a drink. "And here's to Silver getting her persona." Sentinel said. "Cheers." We all said again and took another drink. "And here's cause none of us died." Flash said. "Cheers." We all said and then drank again. "So how does it feel to have your persona Silver?" Star asked me. "It feels good, i'm glad that I can now help other than healing you guys." I replied. "Yeah, and we're glad that you can now give us an advantage by telling us the weaknesses of the shadows that we fight." Twilight said. I was happy, I could help them and they would help me, we all became closer and partied until we all were exhausted and went to our rooms, awaiting the next day. //-------------------------------------------------------// Solar Week part 1 (Star's P.O.V, StarFly X Melody Dawn) //-------------------------------------------------------// Solar Week part 1 (Star's P.O.V, StarFly X Melody Dawn) "You know it's pretty cool that we got solar week off." Crescent said. I looked at his smug smile. It was a few weeks after our fight with the Miso shadow and we were all pretty stressed, we had non stop trips to tartarus and we were also pretty exhausted. "Yes it is, we can now focus more on tartarus." Twilight said. I heard Crescent groan next to me. "Come on, can't we atleast go somewhere for solar week? Like the beach?" Crescent said. "No way, you just want to see us in bikinis." Swirl said "Come on somepony back me up." Crescent whined "I think the beach is a great idea." I said, Swirl looked at me. "Wait you are agreeing with him?" Swirl said slightly pissed. "Well yeah, the beach could help calm us down." I replied. "If our leader says so, then we're doing it." Twilight said "Whoa!" Crescent yelled. "There's a lot of hot mares here." "Geez you're such a pervert Crescent." Swirl said pissed off at him. "I'm just being a guy." Crescent replied with a huff. "Hey Sentinel, let's have a challenge, Whichever one of us that can get the most mares numbers wins." "I accept your challenge." Sentinel replied as he snapped his fingers "Hey Star tell them this is a bad idea." Swirl said. "I won't lose." I said. "huh?" Swirl said confused. "ugh, boys." Swirl said as she walked off to leave us alone. "So the rules, only one chance per mare, and don't try to sabotage the others." Crescent said. "What does the winner get?" Sentinel asked. "Something special." Crescent replied. "Protein?" Sentinel asked. "No, the winner will get these." I said as I held up an envelope. "What are those?" Crescent asked. "It's the girls' measurements." I replied. "N-no way!" Crescent yelled. "How the hell did you get those?" "I have my ways." I replied, as I remembered how much it hurt when I took these. I went to the nurses office at the school and asked to see student records for a class trip, obviously I lied but I got the measurements, after the girls found out I was in serious trouble. "Okay so our prize is the girls' measurements." Sentinel said "Let operation babe begin." Crescent said. I stood back and watched as Crescent and Sentinel were desperately trying to get phone numbers but failing every time, I decided to wait for the right one and get her number, but none of the girls were looking like they were nice ponies. "How come we can't get any numbers?" Crescent asked. "Maybe because they think you're perverts." I said. "Dude, harsh." Crescent said while looking slightly sad. He looked around and then his eyes settled on something, curious I looked in the direction he was staring and saw a beautiful unicorn, she was wearing a blue flowing dress with a white collar. "Okay new objective, her." "Got it." Sentinel said. Crescent Sentinel and I went behind some rocks and decided to take turns to try to get her number. "Hey." Crescent said as he walked up to her. "No, you're not him." She replied. Crescent walked back to us and looked really sad. "I'm out." He said. "My turn." Sentinel said, he then walked up to the mare. "I was wondering." "I refuse." She said flatly, Sentinel then walked back. "I didn't even get to finish what I was going to say." He said looking depressed. It was my turn to walk over to her and talk to her, I walked over to her and she then turned to look at me. "It's you." She said. "What?" I asked. "You are him." She replied. "The one I am supposed to share my destiny with." I stood there in silence, not knowing what she meant. "Okay." I said. "What the hell?" Crescent yelled. We were all sitting in the main lobby of a hotel, we had just watched a video that showed the cause for the Nightmare Hour, and the reason for why I am an orphan and Swirl's dad is dead. "This is troublesome, we now know what caused the Nightmare Hour." Twilight said. "My dad worked on the project to get Nightmaremoon back." Swirl said, an obvious tone of sadness in her voice. "And it killed my parents." I said. "I had no idea as to what had happened to my parents, it was ten years ago that I became an orphan, and now I know." I looked to the ground. "Man this is news, not even Twilight knew, and she's one of the main people for the Sparkle group." Sentinel said. "I need some air." Swirl said as she ran outside. "Wait, what time is it?" Twilight asked. "Around eleven fifty-nine." Sentinel replied. "Swirl's in danger, we didn't bring our weapons, or our guns." Twilight said. "I'll go get her." I said as I gave chase. "Swirl, wait up." I yelled as I chased her to the pier. She stopped at the edge, and I noticed that it was the Nightmare Hour. "My dad died, and it was because of this stupid power that we have!" She yelled. "And your dad was the lead on the project, so it's your fault!" She was pointing and screaming at me, I saw tears in her eyes, and she made me angry. "Well atleast you still have your mother, I don't have either!" I yelled at her, I saw that it made her feel bad, I wanted her to feel bad, both my parents died, and she was blaming me for just her dad dying. "I-i'm sorry" She said while wiping her eyes. "It's fine, you were just angry, come on, let's go back to the others." I said to her. "Thou hast established a new bond, and is now able to create personas of the lovers arcana." I heard a voice say in my head, it was the same when I got closer with Crexcent, and Twilight. "Wait, look." Swirl said as she pointed at a huge wave of shadows coming for us. "Come on let's go!" I yelled as I grabbed her hand. "T-they've got us surrounded." She said. The shadows didn't leave us any openings to get away. "Damn, no way out of this." I said. The shadows got closer to us, but soon after they started to disappear, they disappeared into puffs of smoke, just like when they got killed. "Firing!" I heard a voice yell, we looked towards where the voice was coming, and I saw the mare that was on the pier earlier that day. "Who's she?" Swirl asked. "I-I don't know." I replied. She was firing bullets out of her fingers, shadows kept swarming her, and her dress caught fire. "Persona." She yelled. A blue flash of light and a persona appeared lighting all the shadows on fire, the persona looked like a mare holding s hield out in front of her. "She's a persona-user?" Swirl said in confusion. The mare's dress finished burning and I saw robotic components, she looked like a normal mare from her hands and head, but her legs and arms were robotic. "She's a robot!" I yelled. After the mare finished up with the shadows she walked over to us. "I am Melody Dawn, a class two shadow extermination weapon." She said. I stared at her and was in complete shock. "I am here to protect you, StarFly." "What!" I yelled. I was standing in the velvet room, Igor was looking at me like he wanted to stare into my soul. "Welcome to the velvet room, this place exist between mind and matter, dream and reality." Igor said. "Do you need any assistance?" "Yeah, I want to fuse some personas." I replied. "Ahh, fusing a persona with another will be tricky for you, but I know what to do, bring them over here." He said. I walked over to Igor and placed down the personas that I wanted to fuse. "Just give me a moment to work my magic." He made the cards shine and then within a few minutes a new persona was sitting where the old ones were. "Jila." I said as I picked it up and put it in my pocket. "That is correct, it is of the magician arcana, which means it is best suited for magic attacks." Igor said. I started to leave the velvet room. "Before you go, I have a request, Spend some time with Elizabeth, unlike me she can freely leave the velvet room, and she needs someone to spend time with, so why don't you get to that." He said, and then my vision went black. "StarFly, please wake up." I heard Melody call in the distance. I woke up and saw her looking down at me, instinctively I jumped back and hit my head on the wall. "Melody, what are you doing in my room?" I asked as I rubbed the back of my head in pain. "I was waking you up." She replied. "No I mean what are you doing in my room?" I said again. "You had an alarm set and you did not wake up, so I woke you up, I have been standing here all night." She said. Melody placed her hand on my forehead. "Your body temperature has increased." I didn't notice it but I was blushing, Melody was leaning very close to me, one of her knees was on my bed, and her face was extremely close to mine, I felt my heart race. Swirl walked into my room like she always did to wake me up. "Hey Star, time t get u-." She noticed Melody leaning towards me with. "Star what are you doing with Melody!" Swirl had a terrifying presence to her. "I was just checking his temperature, it was abnormally high, he may have a cold." Melody said "Oh really, sure." Swirl said, obviously pissed she walked out of my room and left me and Melody alone. "Star I wish to try something, I saw other ponies doing it and wish to try it out." Melody said. "Sure, go ahead." I said, I wasn't really paying attention to what Melody said, I was just relived that I didn't get smacked, or punched. "So what is it that you wanted to try?" I asked, Melody then grabbed my hand, and squeezed it lightly. "How does it feel?" Melody asked me. "Well, your hand is, soft for a robot, and not only that, you aren't really cold to the touch, but you're hand is also, warm." I said. "Thank you for allowing me to do this, I will go downstairs and make breakfast for you." Melody then walked out of my room and left me there. "Huh, for a robot, she acts quite a bit like a mare, I think I understand her better now." I thought to myself "You have created a new bond, and are able to make personas of the Aeon arcana." I heard a voice ring in my head. "That makes, four new friends, wonder how many more I can get." I said to myself, and then went downstairs, I noticed that everypony was sitting in the lobby. It seemed as though they had nothing better to do, so I sat down with everypony, and started a conversation. //-------------------------------------------------------// Solar Week part 2 (Sentinel's P.O.V) //-------------------------------------------------------// Solar Week part 2 (Sentinel's P.O.V) It was silent before Star Came downstairs, I was going to ask him why I heard Swirl yell earlier, but I felt that it was a bad time to ask about that, so I sat in silence. "So what's for breakfast?" Star asked. "I dunno, Melody's making it." Crescent told him. "Wait, so Flash isn't making breakfast anymore?" Star asked in confusion. "I don't even think he's here, probably off s=doing something mysterious." Crescent said. "Whatever he's doing it better be preparing him to apologize to me." I said. "Why would he apologize to you?" Star asked. "He never cooks for me, i'm stuck eating those ramen bowls over at Minuette's store." I replied. "But I thought you loved them, why would he cook for you if you love them?" Star asked. "D-damn, you've got a point." I replied shocked at how observant he is. "Hmm, you know, I never had ramen before, Sentinel, what do you say, let's go there together sometime." Star said. "Sure, but only if you don't question what I eat." I replied. "Why would I do that?" He asked. "Because he only eats that weird protein shit." Flash said, as he walked through the door. "It's not weird, it's what makes you strong, you need as much protein as possible." I yelled at him. "Yeah whatever." He replied. "I'll be gone for the next few days, so don't come looking for me." And like that Flash was gone. "It would be great if you just dropped dead." I thought to myself. "Then I could eat all the protein i'd want." "Breakfast is ready." Melody said as she brought in plates for all of us. "For StarFly, I have his favorite, oatmeal, with strawberries, and for Crescent, a Hayburger, then for Twilight, I have soup with iced coffee, Swirl will have this plate of eggs, Silver Wing has some croissant, and then finally, Thunderbolt will get these fired egg whites, tofu, and soybeans." She set down the plates infront of us. "Thank you Melody, I now have three types of protein for breakfast instead of one!" I yelled. "You are weird." I heard Star say. "I'm not weird!" I yelled at him. I was standing in the lobby waiting for Star to show up so that we could go to Minuette's. I was shocked to see how instead of judging me for eating protein, he actually asked Melody to try some. "Hey, so you ready?" I heard Star ask. I looked and saw him standing right infront of me. "Yeah, i'm ready, let's go." I said, and then we both left the dorm and headed to Minuette's "So you really eat that stuff everyday?" Star asked. "I have to, to make sure i'm always one step ahead, you see i'm president of the boxing club, and I need to stay strong." I replied. "Cool, is anyone else in our group a part of clubs?" "Well, Swirl's a part of the archery club, which is why she uses a bow for battle, and the others I have no idea, but I am assuming that Crescent loves baseball, he holds his sword like a bat." "Yeah, it's kind of odd though, usually you'd use a sword like how I hold my short sword, but not like a bat." "I think he's just making sure both his arms are strong." "Maybe, wait, don't you fight with just your fist?" Star asked with a puzzled look on his face. "I don't just use my fists, I also use Mickite." I said with  confidence in my voice. "Oh right, your persona, how are you able to also use your fist?" "You don't need a weapon, when you get your Persona, you can strike shadows with whatever." "I didn't know that, but I think i'll stick with my sword." "Suit yourself." "That was delicious, i should come here more often." Star said in delight. "You think so, it's nothing special." I heard Minuette say. "Nothing special, this is great, I love this, the best i've ever had." "Oh, well thank you." I saw Minuette blushing. "Hey dude, looks like you made somepony's day." I said as I gave Star a light nudge. "Yeah guess I did, hey so I was thinking that for a trip tomorrow, we all go to the local wish well." "Might be good, we all need some goodluck with tartarus, and maybe we could see if that old pony is still living there." "I hope everypony will be alright with that, oh and maybe we should leave Melody at the dorm, she looks too much like a robot." "That's probably for the best." I was able to feel Star and I become closer as friends, he gave me a warm small smile, and it was a good signal of friendship. "Hey, let's have a spar sometime, I'd like to see how strong you really are." "I won't hold back." Star said with a fire in his eyes. I felt us getting closer, and I knew that we would be great friends. "Then let's both get strong, and wait until the day we have to fight." I said. The next day we all gathered at the request of Star. I wondered what it was he wanted, but then I remembered that he said we were going to the wish well. "Okay everypony, I hope you're ready, we're going to the local wish well." Star said. "That sounds like fun, i'm in." Crescent said. "Me too." Swirl said. "I can make my wish come true." Silver said. "It should be a nice experience." Twilight said. "I wish to accompany all of you." Melody said. "Umm, Melody, you're a robot, you can't really be seen by other ponies." Star said. "I have a winter school uniform, I could wear that as a disguise." Melody replied as she went to get the uniform. "Guess Melody's also coming." Star said. "Let's leave when she gets back." He said as he sat down. After Melody came back from getting her clothes on we all left for the wishing well. "This'll be awesome, I brought some bits to toss in." Silver said. "You seem into this wishing well." I said. "Of course I am, wishing wells mean we get to offer some money, to make our wish come true." Silver said. "So what's your wish?" Star asked. "I can't say, if I do then it won't come true." Silver replied looking embarrassed. "I think I know what it is." I said. "Y-you do?" Silver asked trying to hide her panicked tone. "It's protein, right?" I said while snapping my fingers. "Sure, it's protein." Silver said, he voice starting to sound calm again. "I knew it." I said. "Stop talking about protein, not everyone is like you." Twilight said. "Yeah Twi's right, if you only talk about things you're interested in, then you'll never get a girlfriend." Crescent said. "I think he's too musclebound to even think about anything other than protein." Swirl said. Everypony started laughing. "Geez, i'm just saying." I said, as I rubbed the back of my head in embarrassment. "Looks like were done here." Star said, we had all gotten to the well and tossed in some money, and were about ready to leave, when I heard some barking come from a bit away. "Wait, the old pony still lives here?" Twilight asked. "Guess so, that was Rusty just now, right?" Swirl asked. "It sounded like her, let's go check it out." I said, as we all started going to the barking. When we found the source of the barking we saw Flash with some odd ponies, they seemed to be talking, and barking at them was Rusty, she  looked like she was trying to protect something. "Hey what are you three doing with Flash!" I hear Star yell as he ran out to them. "Shit, gotta go." I heard one of them say as all three of them ran off. "What are you doing here?" Flash asked as he facehoofed. "I was here making wishes in the well with the others." Star said, we all then stepped forward and showed ourselves. "Flash, who were those ponies?" Twilight asked him. "None of our business." Flash said in an angry tone as he walked off. "I worry about him." I said as we all went to Rusty. "Hey girl, where's your owner?" I asked as I pet her. Rusty barked as if she was answering me. "He is, dead." Melody said. "Atleast, that is what Rusty is saying." "Wait, you can understand her?" Star asked. "I was programmed with a universal translator, I can understand all types of speech." Melody said. "Okay, what happened to him?" Twilight asked, and Rusty strung along barks, and woofs. "He was killed by something, but I don't know what." Melody translated "That's horrible." Star said. "So you're all alone now?" Rust whined in response. "I am very lonely." Melody said. "That is what she is saying. "Why don't you come live with us?" Silver asked. Rusty looked around and then whined again. "I cannot leave, it is my job to protect the wishing well." Melody said. "It appears as though Rusty is like me, she wishes to protect her master's old home, just as I wish to protect StarFly." "A strong sense of duty, with unwavering loyalty, that's what I like to hear," I said. Rusty barked in celebration of my praise. "Thank you for the compliment, I appreciate it." Melody said. "Best of luck to you Rusty, we shall be going, but we will meet again." Melody bowed and then we all walked back to the dorms. //-------------------------------------------------------// Meeting Silver Screen (Silver Wing's P.O.V) //-------------------------------------------------------// Meeting Silver Screen (Silver Wing's P.O.V) I was walking back to the dorm after buying some things for the others, when I bummped into a young pony, he looked like he was ten years old. "Oh, i'm sorry, here let me help." I said as I extended my hand to him, he took my hand and I helped him up. "It's no problem, it's my fault." He said as he pulled his hand away. "Where are your parents?" I asked, he looked sad after I said that. "I-I don't have any parents." He said. "Oh, that's sad, well you're not the first pony I met that's an orphan." I said, he looked up at me. "You see, i'm a part of this club, and the club leader has no parents either, why don't you come with me and he could talk with you." "Y-yeah, i'd like that." He said as he gave a big smile. "Oh, by the way, my name's Silver Screen, and i'm a fifth grader at Canterlot elementary." "So you're ten years old?" I asked. "I'm not ten, i'm eleven." He said in an angry tone. "Oops, my mistake, i'm Silver Wing, oh my, both of our names is Silver." I said as I giggled. "Hey, you're right, that's kinda funny." Silver Screen said as he laughed with me. I then started to lead him to the dorm. I was sitting in the lobby of the dorm with Silver Screen, waiting for the others to show up. "Miss Silver Wing, where are the others?" He asked me. "They should be here any minute now." I said as I started getting worried that they didn't get my texts. "Hey so where's this kid?" I heard Star say. Star walked into the lobby and looked at me and Silver Screen. "I-i'm here." Silver Screen said. "Hey, i'm StarFly, Silver here told me about you and how you're the same as me." He said as he sat down next to us. "So what's your name?" "I'm Silver Screen." Silver Screen replied. "Whoa, two Silver's, hey what if I call you Screen?" Star asked. "Sure, it'll help get the confusion out of the way." Screen said. "So, tell me what you remember about your parent's deaths." Star said. "Well, I was one at the time, I do remember something though, a big monster attacked and killed them, but there was something wrong with the sky, it was purple." Screen said. "The Nightmare Hour." Star said. "If you were able to remember that happening, that must mean you have the potential" "What's that?" Screen asked. "The potential is this power we have that allows us to operate in this special hour at the end, and beginning of the day." Star explained. "The world changes, monsters appear called shadows, and the sky becomes purple while buildings are warped into monstrous looking things, and the moon, is red" "Shadows?" Screen asked. "I haven't run into monsters, but the world has changed like you said, It happened last night, i remember because I was running away from my orphanage." "Then why don't you stay with us, we can take care of you, and help you find the monster that killed your parents." Star said. "I-i'd like that, thank you." Screen said as he flopped down on the couch and fell asleep. "Being up all night will make anyone his age tired." I said. "Yeah, i'll have a room prepared for him on this floor." Star said as he walked down the hallway to the rooms. Later that day we all gathered for dinner together. Screen was awake and sitting next to Star asking him questions about the Nightmare Hour, and the shadows. "I have made dinner for everypony, it is made to accommodate your preferences." Melody said while bringing out food for everypony. We all accepted the food and began eating, the food Melody made was delicious, I could taste bitterness, but sweetness, along with it being salty, making it bitter sweet. "Delicious as always." Star said. "Thank you for the compliment StarFly." Melody said, I looked at her and saw a slight hint of a blush. "So these shadows could be what killed my parents?" Screen asked. "Yes, your fuzzy memory of that day could help us find out weather or not you're a persona user." Twilight said. "Yeah, and if you are, then we can begin your training, first you'd need protein." Sentinel said "Don't even start with that shit again." Flash said as he held his head. "Protein is a necessary part of any diet, and you need it to be strong." Sentinel yelled. "Is it always like this here?" Screen asked. "Yeah, it's pathetic." Star said. "But that's what makes it home, the fights we get into with one another make us stronger as friends, and family." "That was a very, nice way, of putting it." Melody said. "That is true, so we should seize every chance we get of this quiet." Twilight said. "Even if it's not that quiet, do you two want to be executed?" Twilight yelled at Flash and Sentinel. "hehe, a kid his age still needs to be tucked in at night." I said as I was tucking Screen into his bed. "Well I guess it just makes him cuter like that." I started to walk outside of his room, so that the rest of us could start heading to tartarus to fight the next big shadow. "Is he asleep?" Star asked. "Yes, I tucked him in just now, now let's go get that shadow." I replied "This is going to be a tough mission were going on, so make sure you're ready." Twilight said. "Don't worry, if any of you get hurt, I can heal you, and I can tell you the shadows weaknesses." I said. "Yes, that is true, Silver Wing, will not, let us down." Melody said. "Then let's go." Sentinel said. "The Biga Shadow is waiting for us to kill it. "Yeah!" We all yelled as we walked into the night, ready for another battle. //-------------------------------------------------------// Finding The One (Screen's P.O.V) //-------------------------------------------------------// Finding The One (Screen's P.O.V) After everyone left I secretly followed them to find out where they were going, I was curious about this Tartarus they were going to, I stayed silent the whole time. I got hungry along the way so I took out some chips that I had in my bag, but after I did that I was tackled by something, It must have been a shadow, it was heavy and I was scared to death, but it then started licking me, I remembered StarFly saying that shadows didn't act friendly, they would attack you on sight, but this didn't feel like I was being attacked. I pushed it off of me and saw it was a dog, it was cute looking, it had purple fur, and looked a bit like a dragon. I stared at the dog for a while until I stood up and realized I had lost track of the others. "oh no, i lost them." I thought to myself, I started to get scared, the dog probably sensed I was scared and started to tug at my pants leg. "What is it, do you want to show me something?" I asked, I didn't know why I asked, but I did. "woof." The dog seemed to reply, it then started to lead me somewhere. I walked in silence with the dog, not knowing why I was following it, but I felt it was trying to help me. "woof, woof." The dog said, it then sat infront of a tree with a hole in it. "You want me to stick my hand inside it?" I asked. "Woof." it replied. I stuck my hand inside the hole in the tree, and I felt something inside, it was small, and made of metal. I pulled out the object and saw that it was a gun, it looked like the ones that the others had, I even tried to take out the clip, but it didn't come out, which lead me to believe that it was the same type used by the others. "You want me to hold onto this?" I asked. "Woof." I looked at the dog and gave it a smile. "Thanks for showing me this, I should keep this with me just incase." I said as I slipped it into the belt of my shorts. I walked with the dog some more, it was a nice dog that talked with me. "Woof." The dog started growling at something, I looked towards where it was growling at and I saw a huge monster, it looked like the knight chess piece. "Wait, that looks familiar." I said, my head started to hurt and then I saw a memory. "Silver Screen!." I heard a voice yell, it was my mother's voice, I looked towards her, and I saw her being impaled by a spear, blood was everywhere, but it didn't stop there, it picked up my mom, and tore into her, her body being ripped in half, my father was clinging onto me as he ran from the monster that just killed my mom. "Don't worry Silver, i'll protect y-" My dad started, but then he was also impaled by the spear, he started to gurgle on the blood welling up inside his mouth, the spear was pulled out and he fell forward, dropping me safely on a bush he looked at me. "Silver Screen, do not-" That was all I could remember, my parents being killed right infront of me, their blood covering my infant body, my father, trying to tell me something. "You, you bastard!" I yelled at the monster. "You killed my parents, now i'll kill you!" The monster looked my way, and then started to run towards me and the dog, it swung at the dog first, launching it into a wall. I pulled out the gun and started to shoot at the monster, but the gun didn't work. "Why isn't this working, the others have these." "Point the gun at your head, then pull the trigger." I heard a voice say, not thinking about it I listened. I pointed the barrel of the gun to my face and got ready to pull the trigger, but I was scared, I couldn't do it. "There it is!" I heard a familiar voice say, I turned around and saw the others running towards me. "Galdia!" Star said as he shot himself with his gun, a thing appeared and then fought the other monster, but it was no use, the first monster took out whatever it was that Star called out, and then wiped everyone out. "No, not them too, I won't lose anyone else!" I yelled as I pulled the trigger, a sensation of nothingness overtook my body, my mind was clear, and I felt as though I was floating, I opened my eyes and felt power surging through me. "Makatuzizu!" I yelled, then something came to my side, it was a pony dressed in armor, with a lance ready to fight. "The kid has a persona." I could hear Sentinel say. "Galdula!" I said, the pony on armor rushed towards the monster and pierced it with it's lance, the monster was then engulfed in flames and disappeared. "I did it? Wait the dog!" I ran to the dog's side and picked it up. "That's Rusty, if she can function during the Nightmare Hour, then she must have a persona." Twilight said. "Quickly let's get back to the dorm." Silver said. Back at the dorm I was sitting on the couch, about ready to fall asleep, but I had to stay awake and explain what had happened. "I still can't believe you managed to kill the shadow with one hit." Swirl said. "I can't believe that Rusty's a persona-user." Sentinel said. "Yeah, she found me following you guys, and she lead me to this gun, and I......used it to kill the shadow." I flopped onto the couch, and fell asleep. //-------------------------------------------------------// My Death (Flash's P.O.V) //-------------------------------------------------------// My Death (Flash's P.O.V) I watched as Twilight was talking with the others about what to do with Rusty, I for one couldn't care less about what happened to that bitch, but they seemed to want to keep her, so I had no say in what was going to happen. "I'm going out, don't follow me." I said, they all just waved at me and continued talking, I really hated that about them, they love my cooking but they hate me. I walked outside of the dorm and went for a nice long walk. I kept walking until it became dark, I looked around and saw it was the Nightmare Hour, with habit I went to Tartarus to help fight the shadows with the others. "I bet they're not even worried about where I am, damned bastards." I said to myself. When I got there they where waiting for me, and then we all went inside together. I didn't think much of Screen staring at me, probably thinking that I was cool. "Wow Flash, you're the coolest one here, you should be the leader." Yeah, that's what he was thinking, i think. "Okay so after we go here we need to head to this spot in town, a pretty strong shadow managed to escape." Star said. "That little punk, he thinks he's so cool, able to wield multiple personas at once, I hate him, I want him to die." I thought to myself. My heart felt heavy, and then I felt a sharp pain in my chest, falling to the ground holding my chest I reached for the powder in my pocket. "Flash are you okay?" I heard Silver say. "Yeah i'm fine, I just need to rest a bit, you guys go on ahead." I replied, they all looked at one another and then all of them left me there. When they where out of sight I grabbed the vial of the powder in my pocket and downed it. Twilight thought that the shadows were the only problem, no, there was something else as well, I called it Apathy-Syndrome. Apathy-Syndrome was an illness that only affected ponies that closed themselves off from everyone else. "That was close." I said to myself. Apathy-Syndrome makes it so they delve deeper into insanity, and I had it, it was dangerous for me to have it, it caused me to loose control of my persona and kill. I once lost control, and killed a family, they father was trying to run away from me, but he was too slow, and my persona killed him, and the child he was holding. "No please, don't!" The mare yelled, I didn't listen, my persona pierced her right through the chest, killing her. I laughed manically as her blood poured out of her, her eyes going lifeless. "Tear her in half." I said, my persona Malkidu picked her up and ripped her top half from her bottom, her blood showered me in a beautiful crimson color. Her body was then dropped to the ground in a bloody mess. "Don't worry we'll get out of this." I heard the husband say, I then turned to look at him as he was running way while holding his child. Malkidu stabbed him through his stomach, and he dropped his child, which I knew killed the kid. "Silver Screen, Don't hold a grudge against the pony that killed me and your mother." He said. "How touching, you've lost so much blood that you think your child is still alive, Malkidu, kill him." And just like that, the spear was thrusted straight into his skull, killing him and showing me, that lovely crimson color I loved to see, taste, and smell. I lost control that day, and I never wanted that to happen again, so I got in contact with three ponies that used their ability to function in the Nightmare Hour to kill. I gave them information about the missions, and in return, they gave me the antidote, so that I couldn't loose control again. I got back up and followed the others. After we had completed what we planned to do in Tartarus, we went to the old abandoned warehouse, my chest felt like it was on fire, and I couldn't stand it, I started to pant heavily. "Flash, what's wrong." Screen asked me. I looked at him, he looked like the stallion I killed all that time ago. "Wait, did your parents get murdered by a monster?" I asked. "Yeah, I can't remember much, but my mom was torn in half, and my dad dropped me on a bush." He replied looking sad. I held my chest and fell on my knees. "I knew it, I killed his parents, his dad told him not to hold a grudge against me, but what if he doesn't remember that?" I thought to myself. "Hey you two catch up al-"Star started to say, but I interrupted him by making an ear piercing howl. "Woof." I heard Rusty say "Rusty senses danger, coming from, Flash Sentry." Melody translated for everyone. Rusty was right to be sensing danger, I was loosing control. "Malkidu!" I yelled as my persona appeared, but it didn't look like the normal form as everyone knew, it was a chess piece, the same type that killed Screen's parents. "That form." I heard Screen say. "That shadow didn't kill my parents, you did!" "What!" I heard the others say. "That's right, I killed your parents but I didn't mean t-" I Started, but I then felt myself loose control. "I wanted to kill them, they were stupid, and they deserved to die like the bitches they were." I said laughing in an insane manner "Flash we can't allow this, we have no choice but to fight you." Twilight said. "And unless you back down now." Sentinel said. "We'll kill you." Star added looking much more menacing than usual. "Alright then, come at me!" I yelled as Malkidu swung at all of them "Zi!" Star called forth his persona which used fire magic much more. "Malho!" Crescent yelled. "Daisuke!" Swirl yelled. "Gatudarus!" Twilight yelled. "Collstar!" Sentinel yelled. "This should be fun!" I said as they all rushed towards me. "You guys are weak, the only one that was able to possibly stand a chance against me was Star, but even he's run out of energy." I Laughed. "Just give up, so that I can kill yo-" BANG! I heard a gun fire, and I felt a pain shoot through out my body. I looked down and saw that I was shot. "Who did that!" I heard Star yell as my vision go black. My mind went adrift, I could see a white light, and someone calling out to me. "Your journey has come to an end." I heard a voice yell, but I first opened my eyes to the scene that was going on. I reached my hand out and saw it was covered in my own blood. "Don't die, we were trying to save you, just don't die!" Silver said as she was crying over my body. "I know we threatened to kill him, but we weren't really going to, so please, stay with us." Twilight said as she hid her face. "Damn you, you bastard, you never deserved this, you shouldn't have died like this." Sentinel said as he punched a wall. "No, i'm sorry, I did not, want this, to happen." Melody said as she stood over me. "I am sorry that we never got to be friends." Star said. "I forgive you." Screen said. All of them where crying over me dying, I reached a hand out to all of them, and they all grabbed it. "I am sorry, that I couldn't help you get to your goal, of stopping, the Nightmare Hour." I said weakly. "Do not be sorry."  Star said "You might not have seen the end." Swirl added. "But you showed great strength." Twilight added. "Your death, will not be, in vein." Said Melody. "We will destroy the Nightmare Hour." Sentinel said. "And we will remember you." Silver said. "As a hero." Screen finished. "Thank you." I said, I felt the life leave my body and in the distance, I heard my friends crying over my demise. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Funeral (Star's P.O.V) //-------------------------------------------------------// The Funeral (Star's P.O.V) I was standing over Flash's dead body, anger consuming me, I wanted to know who killed him so that I could kill them, but I knew killing wasn't right. "What are we supposed to do?" Sentinel asked. "Leave him here." I said, everyone looked at me. "If we bring him back to the dorm then the police will think we killed him, Silver Wing, help the team get to the shadow, i'll go after the ponies who shot him." "Wait, you're saying he was murdered by other ponies, but I thought only persona-users were able to operate in the Nightmare Hour." Crescent said. "That's true, wait other persona-users killed Flash!" Twilight yelled in disbelief. "As much as I hate to say that it's true, it is." I said. "Now Silver, help the others get to the shadow, i'm going after them." I then ran off to where I saw the ponies run away too. "Damn, he's still following us!" I heard one of the ponies say. They where right infront of me, A mare in a silk dress, a stallion without a shirt, and another stallion with a jacket covering his mouth. "Chidorita slow him down." The shirtless stallion said to the mare. "Hikut!" The mare's persona appeared and shot ice shards at me. I easily dodged them. "Kaizu!" I called forth my persona Kaizu, it might not have known fire but it was my most powerful one. "Death's touch!" My persona went and grabbed the mare breaking her persona. "Agahhhhhhhhh!, Sito, Mal, help me!." She yelled to her companions. "Sorry, you're on your own." The jacketed stallion said, and they disappeared into the darkness. "Please don't kill me." She said in a pleading fashion. "I-I'll go to bed with you if you let me go." I looked at her with a menacing glare. "Where you the one who shot Flash?" I asked. "N-No it was Sito." "Who's Sito?" "Sito was the one without a shirt." She began to struggle. "Now let me go!" "No, you're coming with me." "So your name's Chidorita, nice name, maybe if you help us then we could go on a date." Crescent said while looking at the mare I took prisoner, I noticed that she was blushing because of Crescent. "Crescent, enough with that, we need information from her, not you trying to score with her." Twilight said. "Now, Chidorita, tell us what we want to know, or you will be executed." "O-Okay, what do you want to know?" Chidorita asked while panicking. "Why did you kill Flash!" Sentinel asked in rage. "He was getting to strong for his own good, he had Apathy-Syndrome." She said, we all looked at each other in confusion. "What is, Apathy-Syndrome?" Maelody asked. "It's what happens, when you close yourself off from the world." She explained. "Just like Flash did, he never wanted us to get close to him." I said. "Dammit, why didn't he let us become close to him!" "Because he shut out the world for a long time." Screen said. "He killed my parents, with that monstrous persona, he had it since I was a kid." "Sorry to say but you still are a kid." Crescent said. "Now back to me scoring with you Chidorita." "I guess we should all get ready, for the funeral later today." I said with sadness in my voice. "So let's get to bed." The next day at school we where all gathered in the gymnasium, all of the students where mourning Flash, despite not actually knowing him. "You know, I saw this coming, he would always get in trouble, so if you ask me, he deserved this." I heard a student say, I was going to tell them off but Crescent beat me to it. "Just shut the hell up! You didn't know him, you didn't know what he was really like, and bastards like you are what's wrong with this world!" Crescent caused a commotion which then brought teachers our way. "That's it, enough fighting you two, principals office now!" The teacher yelled at Crescent and the other student. I was pissed at that student too, there was no physical contact made until I walked to the student and put my hand on his shoulder. "What the hell do you want?" He asked, he turned to look at me and flinched when my eyes met his. "H-hey, what's wrong with yo-" He started, but I interrupted him, I socked him right in the face, he fell backwards his nose bleeding because of my punch. The gymnasium was silent, the sound of my fist landing on his face spread through out the room. "Don't you dare say another god damned word about Flash, he was a good guy, and you only judged him because of rumors you heard about him." I said, the pony was holding his nose with tears in his eyes. "And I know for a fact, that he did not deserve this." "Great, why'd you do that Star?" Crescent asked me. "I did it, because Flash doesn't deserve the disrespect he got from that asshole." I replied. "You punched another student!" Crescent yelled in anger. "Was being suspended really worth it!" "Yes." I replied, Crescent looked at me confused. "I made a promise when I accepted being the leader of S.E.E.S, and that was to protect my teammates, and doing that was part of it." I sat there in silence as everypony was looking at me in disbelief that I actually hit another pony, to them I was the nicest pony in the world, but now, that opinion must have changed. "We're not going to Tartarus tonight, goodnight." I walked up the stairs to go to my room, and when I opened the door, there was that pony that checked me in the first day i got there. "So you finally did it, you punched somepony, feels good, doesn't it?" He asked, I was spacing on his name, I couldn't remember it at all. "What are you talking about?" I asked. "You hit a pony, bet it felt so good, infact I know it felt good, I was the one that made you punch him after all." I looked at him with confusion, he made me hit him, I thought to myself, that can't be possible, He continued to look at me with a big grin on his face. "Incase you can't tell, i'm a part of you, and not only that, but I am you." "What?" I yelled. "There is no way you can be me." "Well that's true, i'm not you, but I am a part of you." His grin grew more sinister. "Ten years ago, when Nightmare Moon was defeated, the Nightmare hour showed up, and as a result, the evil in her body was expelled, and went to find a new host, you are that host, the catalyst, for the end of the world." //-------------------------------------------------------// Personal (Twilight's P.O.V, StarFly X Twilight) //-------------------------------------------------------// Personal (Twilight's P.O.V, StarFly X Twilight) After our successful attack on tartarus we were exhausted we couldn't get to sleep at all so I got Star and took him to my room to tell him some more about the nightmare hour. I told him to meet me in my room because I had something to tell him, and after that I went to my room to wait. After about thirty minutes he showed up. "So you wanted to see me?" Star asked as he stood at my doorway, I didn't realize it till just now but he looked kinda cute. "Umm yes, you see I wanted to tell you more about the nightmare hour." I replied. "Okay go on then." He said as he walked fully inside of my room. "So the nightmare hour showed up  about ten years ago, and only recently has the sparkle group found a way to combat it." I said to him while staring into his beautiful bluish grey eyes, i started to blush a little. "The potential?" He asked. "Exactly, they found us and asked us to help defeat the nightmare hour, so every day we fought to push the nightmare hour away." I started to notice there was a certain sparkle in his eyes that was very attracting. "Is there anything else I should know?" He asked. "Yes, every month on a full moon there will be a bigger and more powerful shadow that will show up and cause much more destruction to the environment." I told him while I placed my hand on my bed motioning for him to sit. He sat down next to me and looked at me, they way he was staring at me was embarrassing. "U-umm hey, c-could you stop staring at me like that?" I said while I felt my face grow hot. "Oh i'm sorry, I didn't meant to stare." He said. "N-no it's fine, I don't mind much." I said while I composed myself. "So as I was saying, the shadows that appear every month manage to knock out most of us before we could take it down, so having you and Crescent will help us take them down and hopefully make progress on our fight." "Yeah thanks for telling me this." He looked at me and seemed to be thinking I could only imagine what he was thinking. He was staring at me and thinking for around five minutes. "Hey you seem a bit stressed, what do you say we go out somewhere tomorrow." He said bluntly. I was shocked and flustered not knowing what to say I just sat there in silence blushing crazily. "W-what do you mean? w-we hardly know each other and you ask me out like this." I said while covering my face to try to hide my blushing. "I-i'm not asking you out! I just noticed that since the day I saw you, you looked seriously stressed." He said. He was right, even before him and Crescent joined I was really stressed about everything that was happening, from Silver Wing not having a persona but still being able to function in the nightmare hour, to Sentinel and Flash always fighting over food. "Yeah, let's go out somewhere, you pick." I told him with a smile. "Great, so after school tomorrow, got it?" He asked. "Yeah I got it." I said. The next day after school I met up with Star to go out and let loose. I saw star walking towards me. "Hey Star." I waved to him, he waved back and then finally got over to me. "Hey Twilight, so you ready?" He asked me. "I'm good, so where are we going?" I asked him while he grabbed my hand, when he did that I blushed immensely. "I'm not telling, you'll just have to wait." He said as he lead me. We walked and he was still holding onto my hand, and he didn't seem to notice. We walked for a while and then we got to a building that I didn't recognize. "Umm hey Star, what's this place?" I asked him. "It's a karaoke bar, Crescent told me about it when I told him I was taking you out somewhere." He said. "But won't it be expensive?" I asked. "Actually no, Crescent knows somepony here and he got us in for free." He then turned to me and smiled "So let's go inside." "O-okay." I said as we walked inside. We spent the entire day in the karaoke bar and had a great time. After that we went back to the dorms and stood outside, it took a while for him to say anything. "So did you have fun?" He asked with a smile. "Yeah I did, thanks for doing this for me." I replied, I could feel us getting closer, I started to develop some feelings for him, I hoped that we could stay friends like this for a long time. "That's good, i'm glad that I could help ease you of your stress." He said as he walked inside. I heard this odd buzzing that made me feel dizzy, it was odd, but it didn't last long. When it passed I went back inside to my room and prepared for the Nightmare hour. So we all met up in the lobby and got our things together so that we could be ready for a difficult fight. "So is everypony ready for the fight tonight?" I asked all of them. "Yes we're ready." They all replied. "Good, cause tonight we'll be taking down, the misto shadow." I said. After I said that everypony got hyped up and we put all of our hands together. "We can do this." Star said. I believed him, and as I looked at everyponies eyes I could see that all of them believed him as well.
