Chapters It was the middle of the night as a terrified unicorn ran as fast as possible from the parasprite like creatures chasing her. It wasn't until she found herself in front of the castle of the two sisters that she stopped to catch her try and catch her breath.
"Rarity! Rarity where are you?" she heard a familiar voice before noticing the creatures were all around her. There was no escape for her now.
"HELP!"
"Don't worry Rarity, your Spikey wikey is here!" Spike yelled as he jumped in front of Rarity. It was then a swarm of flying books with Twilights face on them surrounded the unicorn and dragon, shooting words off of their pages into their brains and slowly eating them.
Falling to the ground holding his head because of information overload, spike found himself useless. He grew up with Twilight so he couldn't fight her like Rarity can
"Books! Learn! Study!" the twibooks chorused over and over again
"Get away from us!" Spike yelled trying to swat them away as they slowly engulfed him, finally eating him whole.
"Books! Learn! Study!"
"SPIKEY!" Rarity shrieked before whispering "you, you ruffians are going to pay for that" lighting her horn and starting to set the twibooks on fire with her magic, not even caring that her mane had already been eaten. After a good ten twibooks were down she noticed a flash of light. Turning around she saw it was one person she knew could help her. "Princess Luna!"
"Hello my little....."
"Books! Learn! Study!"
Before she could finish she noticed she was surrounded by the twibooks trying to eat her regalia. "What in my sisters name is this Tartarus?" Luna muttered before joining Rarity in lighting them on fire.
"They, they just keep coming" Rarity panted out of breath from using so much of her magic and running. "I don't know where they came from."
"Books! Learn! Study!"
"Please Princess, I don't want to be eaten anymore! I've put up with too much to die! This is the worst possible thing! "Luna lit her horn and a giant bubble formed around them and rolling her eyes at the drama queen. "This should hold them back for a while."
"I figured you could of gotten rid of all of them with a spell, but this works too." she explained very relieved to get a moment of actual rest
"My apologies, normally I would love the target practice but there are too many Twilight book creatures things for even my sanity. Trying not to laugh at the idea of book Twilights and how no one else has dreamed of them yet, Luna had failed and started giggling. "This is truly a nightmare I need to tell my sister about. Not mentioning Rarity's name of course, but a Twilight book creature would certainty make her day," she told herself
"What is going on princess? Is this Discords doing?" Rarity asked shaking her head rather violently trying to erase the memory of when he turned Ponyville into the Chaos capital of the world.
"No, you are dreaming Miss Rarity."
"A dream? It feels so real though." looking over at the sea of books bleeding words.
"After everything you have been through since my return I imagine it would, I assure you though this is just a dream. It is one of the more unique ones I've seen lately. Do you what could have possible caused a dream such as this?
"Possibly, but I do not see how it could have caused this, it is rather silly, and the situation is over with. At least for now" Rarity started thinking of other possibility's
"Tell me about it. In one second" it was then Rarity noticed Lunas (I have a idea) grin she has only seen one other time. Luna lit her horn and shot a lightning bolt at the bubble; sending hundreds of twibooks scattering like cockroaches in light, and both of them laughing.
"Thank you princess, that was priceless! Now if they would stay away that would be fabulous!"
"It is something I always wanted to do with Twilight. She has always gotten scared rather easily, but my sister forbid me from pranking her. That is why I asked Pinkie Pie to help on occasion. I don't think she actually does it on purpose though. Now tell me about your current situation, what could have cause you to dream about being attacked by Twilight?, err books?, impersonating parasprite? The creature things." Luna finally decided on. There were no words to call them, but creature things.
"Well you see, I wanted to try and get more business associated in other cities, sell my dresses to them, maybe get a few requests. You know get my name out there, and maybe open up more boutiques around Equestria. As of right now I have connections Canterlot, Manehattan, and the Crystal empire, but before I even attempted to try and make more deals, I wanted to learn a little more about what would be required, possible out comes, who I would be dealing with, and how it would effect me. You know schedule, financial, inventory, and a few others"
Rarity looked over and Luna nodded. "So I have a idea what happened but for the fun of it, please finish your story." she said looking like a filly with during a bedtime story
Sighing knowing Luna was going to make her finished the story, even though it was obvious how it ended she took a minute to try and figure out how she could put it the past two days into words." "I went over to the golden oaks library to ask Twilight if she had any books that would help me with my research, that I could borrow for a few weeks. She took it as a opportunity to become a teacher. The past two days, I haven't even slept, and barely had the opportunity to eat because she has been trying to drill so much into my head. She finally passed out allowing me to escape home. I think this is how Rainbow felt when Twilight tried helping her study for her Wonderbolts test"
Luna couldn't help but start laughing. "That does not surprise me on bit, and most likely knowing those two. According to my sister, she has always put more then possible into what she did, or studied. The one time she didn't was when she her first time hungover and trying to hide it from Celestia. From what I heard it didn't end well."
"I am more then aware, and Twilight is fun when she is hung over." She giggled remembering when Pinkie spiked the punch and Twilight turned herself rainbow colored. "I was hoping she would just let me borrow a few books though. I supposed I should have known better." she said chuckling and mentally slapping herself "Now that I think about it, I could have just asked Spike to bring them to me and go around her all together.
"That would have most likely been easier." Luna said amused that she didn't think of it sooner. "If you wish, I know some ponies who would I am sure would love to have a business deal with you. They are kind of far, but travel a lot selling upcoming fashion trends. I believe that is what they call it at least" Rarity got a big smile and jumped up to hug Luna, who graciously excepted and hugged her back.
"Oh, Princess Luna?"
"Yes?"
"When did you get so good at speaking modern? Since your return you have spoken in ancient equestrian."
"Do not worry about it please." and with that Luna was gone
"Thank you princess" Rarity whispered. It was then she noticed all of the twibooks were gone, and she was in a giant room surrounded with sewing supplies. "It's my inspiration room! Well dream or not, it is never bad time to work on my new line!" and with that Rarity started working

Today I learned that weaponized forms of books with the element of magic's head on them are really fun to set on fire.
Luna
"Care for some more?"
"Yes, thank you"
"Can you two please let me go?" Cadence whined
"NO! " the two invaders chorused before going back to their party
"Why not?"
"So how was your day?"
"Long but good. And yours?"
"Oh you never would believe what Twilight did. She...."
"Just ignoring me. Ok, I see how it is." Cadence said sarcastically before noticing a light. "Luna!"
"Hello Cadence. I came to help you." She explained trying not to laugh at the sight.
"If you can just untie me, that would be great."
"Why would she do that?" a voice from above asked
"Discord, I thought you left." Cadence groaned
"And I thought Twibooks were unique." Luna said giggling
"Twibooks?" Cadence and Discord asked in unison
"Long story. So question. Why?" Luna asked giggling
"Why what?" Cadence asked trying to get free from the changeling goo she was tied up in
"I think she means us Cady." A demonic voice called out from their tea party
"Yes, thank you." Luna just shook her head.
"I think it was because I was going through reports to file away before I went to sleep, and memories and all of that."
"Ok Cadence, that explains why Chrysalis and Sombra are here, and why you were tied up, I think at least, but why are they having a tea party, and why is Discord here? You had no part with him."
"I have no idea. I have been trying to figure that out myself." She confessed. "Now, can someone please untie me."
"Cadence, I am going to ask you a important question."
"Yes Luna?"
"If I unite you, will this qualify as a nightmare?"
"If you unite me, no. If they would listen to me, and Discord would go away, I want to go join them. Shining never has tea parties with me, and I don't see Twilight, and you guys that often." Cadence explained pouting
"Have you been wanting to have a tea party? Maybe feel like a filly again?"
"Kind of, being a princess is stressful."
"I completely understand." Luna lit her horn and Cadence was freed. "Now please don't take this the wrong way."
"Take what the wrong.......
Luna? Where did you go?"
"Don't worry about her, come join us Cady."
"Coming!" Cadence said running to join them
"How come they can call you Cady and I can't" Discord moaned
"Do you remember what happened last time?"
"Yes, Shining had......"
"Exactly" Cadence confirmed giving him her glare
"But it's a dream!" Discord expressed waving his arms everywhere
"Hi Cady!"
"Shining get out of here!" Everyone saw a flash again
"Cadence what is going on now?" Luna asked after seeing a disturbance again coming from her dream
"I want to go join the Tea party, but Discord started complaining and calling me Cady, even though he knows I don't like it, then Shining appeared and called me Cady and I just want them to go away." Cadence explained whining
"Goodbye" and with that Luna left again.
Dear Journal,
Today I learned that even if it seems like Cadence is having a nightmare, don't go help. I might be caught in a tea party surrounded with evil villains. Although if I could go as Nightmare moon, maybe I could have some fun..........
"Did Twilight really do that? Cadence asked amused
"Oh this is precious" Chrysalis finally managed to say through her laughter
"No that is precious" Cadence laughed looking over to Discord and Shining Armor tied up in changeling goo.
"What doing on with the sky?" Sombra asked. Everyone looked up to the sky to notice dark clouds circling like a tornado was about to form.
"Not sure." Cadence flew up to try and get a closer look but a bolt of lightning came and just barely missed her. "Ok, not going to try that again"
"Where did the sun go?" Shining asked trying to see through the cloud coverage.
"Thou dare defy us!"
"What was that?" Chrysalis asked shaking a little
"Oh- I know, I know" Discord said managing to break his arm free and waving it around like a school filly
"Art thou not evil enough for your party?"
"Uhhhhhhh" Shining tried speaking but couldn't quite make words.
With that Cadence and Discord burst out laughing, as Shining Armor, Chrysalis, and Sombra stood frozen in fear as Nightmare moon flew over to them.
"Thank you Auntie, this is the best dream ever!"
"You're welcome Cadence, but why aren't you scared of us?"
"Because it is a dream. You can't do anything." Luna groaned forgetting Cadence is not a normal pony, and wasn't scared easily. "Goodbye" and with that Luna was gone again.
"Bye auntie, now where were we?"

My plan failed to scare Cadence and Discord. Managed to petrify Shining Armor, Chrysalis, and Sombra, so it wasn't for nothing. I wonder how Tia would react if I did that to her.
Luna
"Who cares"
"Pinkie you have been inside all day, you need to get out."
"Didn't you hear me Celestia? I said who cares." Pinkie whispered laying in her bed, trying to hide under the her blanket.
"Princess Twilight needs our help. The elements won't work without laughter, that is you Pinkie." Celestia said shaking the pink pony trying to annoy her enough that she would get out of bed.
"Stop calling me Pinkie, my name is Pinkamena. Also why do you keep trying to force laughter on me? I'm not allowed to laugh." She tried going further under her blanket only to be blocked by a giant hoof. "You are the element of magic, you can not choose destiny."
"You are as stubborn as a rock!" Celestia yelled using her magic to pull the blanket off of Pinkie, flipping her onto the ground in the process. It was then they noticed the light.
"Princess!" Celestia exclaimed bowing.
"Tia, what are you doing?" Luna asked very amused "and where did your wings go?"
"I am trying to get Pinkie to come help us and Princess Twilight, but she is refusing. We can't stop Spike from eating Equestria unless we have all of the Elements." Celestia explained bowing to Luna. "Also I am a unicorn, not a alicorn. Why would I have wings?" she asked very confused
"Pinkie Pie, aren't you the element of Laughter?" Luna walked over to help her get up off the floor, but Pinkie just laid there like she was getting ready to go to sleep.
"No, I am just a simple rock farm pony, who just wants to be alone. I don't know who told you I am, but I am not the element of laughter." Pinkie groaned. "Now please go away!"
"Not until you come help us stop Spike the dragon!" Celestia yelled
"Celestia, I thought that laughter was you favorite element after magic. So why is the element of laughter so depressed?" Luna put her arm around Celestia, and guided her to the bed to sit down.
"I don't know. She isn't acting like herself, I'm starting to get scared. Maybe there is something in one of my books!" Celestia jumped up and started going to the door.
"Sit back down."
"But!" the minute Celestia saw Lunas glare she sat back down.
"You aren't acting like yourself either, you are acting more like Twilight Sparkle."
"I am acting like my teacher? I supposed it makes since, we did spend a lot of time together." A white light formed around the white pony for a moment, and shrunk from her normal size to Twilights height.
"No, you are the Princess. Twilight is your student." Luna explained. It was then she noticed Pinkie had disappeared and chuckled. "Even depressed, she can still move without being seen."
"Yep that is Pinkie for you." with that they both started laughing. "Luna, what is going on? Why aren't you worried about Spike, he is out there eating ponies."
"You are dreaming. I came to help. Can you tell me what happened before you fell asleep?
"Would before I fell asleep, feel like a dream in the dream world?
"Very similar" Luna admitted. The dream world was very confusing, it was like the opposite of reality while being a form of reality.
"I was at a Pinkie Pie party during my visit to Ponyville, and I drank some of the punch with Twilight and Pinkie. I got really tired, and that is all I remember." Celestia explained while trying to remember anything else that could be useful
"So, someone spiked the punch?" Luna asked wondering who would drug her sister
"Who would spike the punch?" Celestia started running to the door like she had a idea
"Where are you going?"
"To my library! I need to find out what could have done this." And with that Celestia disappeared.
"Oh this is going to be a long night." Luna told herself before walking in the direction of the library.
"I can't find anything!" Celestia yelled throwing the book into the huge pile in the middle of the room "I still need Pinkie to help stop Spike also. I wonder if Applejack has anymore juice. He seemed to like it in my dream, maybe Pinkie will too."
"Celestia?" The white pony turned around at the sound of Lunas voice. "Yes princess?"
"Did Applejack have her family's famous cider?"
Celestia thought for a moment. "It could have been, I am not positive though because he snuck it before making the punch. When he was done he was acting very funny."
Luna could only face hoof while groaning. "I swear sister, I know you like to party, but if you notice a BABY dragon sneaking alcohol, you should stop him."
"How was I supposed to know! He technically is only a few years younger then the Princess, so he should be able to handle it." Celestia tried to argue back, even though she knew it was pointless.
"Sister, remember that dragons age differently then ponies do. For every twenty years in pony time, is one year in dragon time. I know you never liked dragons, but even you should know that." Luna yelled back before taking a deep breath to calm down. "Ok, we know that a drunk Spike may have added something to the punch that knocked you out, but why are you in Twilight Sparkles like, and why was Pinkie Pie so depressed? Not to mention the giant rampaging dragon who is eating ponies."
"I don't know" Celestia fell to the floor and covered her eyes with her hooves and Luna heard soft sobs.
"Celestia, I know you don't understand, it is hard to in a dream, but I need you to stay focused." Luna cooed going over and draping a wing around the unicorn.
"Thanks princess. Is there anything you can do? I know it is a dream, but I still don't want Spike eating ponies. Princess Twilight would be furious if she found out I was just standing around talking while ponies are dying."
"Celestia, I am going to do something, and I need you to trust me." Luna finally told her giving up. Helping her sister in her dreams were near impossible.
"Ok, if it means you can help." Celestia pulled away and looked at Luna like she was about to do something illegal.
Luna left. "Sorry Tia, it is the only way." Luna teleported to Surgarcube corner. It was there she noticed Celestia, Twilight, Pinkie Pie, and Spike passed out on the floor of the main room, Applejack sleeping in the kitchen, and the others were gone. "Wake up sleepyheads" Luna cooed shaking everypony but Spike and AJ.
"What happened?" Twilight asked slowly waking up
"My head feels funny." Pinkie said frowning before hiding her head under a table cloth.
Luna looked at the two and smiled before trying to wake her sister again. "I will explain what I know as soon as this one wakes up." After ten minutes of them trying to wake her up Twilight smiled and got a bucket of ice water.
"I have always wanted to do this." and with that the freezing cold water soaked the helpless alicorn.
"How is she still sleeping after that?" Luna asked very concerned. "Wait we are going about this the wrong way."
"What do you mean princess?" Twilight asked wondering what could possibly wake her up.
"Tia, come get some cake before I eat it all!" Luna shouted
Celestia shot straight up, hitting her head on the table. "Coming! You better save me a........"
"About time you woke up." Luna laughed noticing how frazzled Celestia looked.
"Ok, she is awake, now can you tell us what happened?" Twilight asked impatiently
"What I know, Spike got drunk and added something to the punch that knocked you out." Luna deadpanned
"We were all drunk to be honest, but I didn't know Spike was here. I left him back in the library." Twilight asked looking at the sleeping dragon. "How did you know we were here?"
"Dream magic. Also Celestia can you explain why Pinkie Pie was depressed?"
"Because she is a angry drunk, and gets depressed. I had to hold her in my magic before her and Applejack started a fight." Celestia explained
"That explains a few things. Now if you don't mind, it has been a long night." and with that everypony said goodnight, before going home. Leaving a sleeping Spike and Applejack, knowing never wake them up after having a few too many, or in Spikes case, any.

Today I learned that when a baby dragon has a drink, he might accidently drug some of the most important people in Equestria. I also learned that no pony can wake my sister unless they have cake. If you don't then you have a very upset princess. I need to go bake a cake now. Hopefully tomorrow will be easy.
"Nope"
"Eeyup" Applejack mocked Big Mac earning her a glare "I can do my part at least."
"You remember what happened last time, don't ya?" Applebloom asked concerned
"What is going on?" Rainbow asked flying down to the farm ponies
"Applejack hurt herself and she still wants to try applebuckin even though she can barely walk." Applebloom explained it was then Rainbow noticed her back left leg bandaged hoof to flank and little areas of blood around her knee.
"I can walk just fine. Now if yall would 'scuse me, I have some work to get done." Big mac picked his sister up before she could limp away "Let me go!" she shouted
"Nope" he said trying to not sound irritated at his stubborn sister
"A.j you are hurt, why don't you just take it easy for once?"
Applejack just glared at Rainbow with a "Traitor" look in her eyes "Cause I don't need anypony help when I am able to do it myself." She snapped back
Applebloom jumped up onto Big Mac to look get more eye level with her sister, "She's right. You're not able to work, so just take it easy. Yall need a break for once or your gonna hurt yourself more"
"You can put me down now Big Mac." Applejack sighed and with that he set her down.
"Wait, wait, wait. You aren't going to try to work again. Are you?" Rainbow asked with Applejacks tail in her mouth so she couldn't try and go anywhere
"Sure am. I told yall I'm fine!" She growled and that is when they noticed a light
"Princess!" Applejack exclaimed running up to the dark alicorn "What are you doin here?"
"Hello Applebloom, I am here to help your sister." Luna explained with a warm smile nuzzling the filly.
"That is mighty kind of yall, but I don't need help."
"Just let her help you. She is the Princess after all." Applejack could tell Rainbow was annoyed at her stubbornness but reluctantly agreed to let Luna help with what ever she came to do.
"Thank you everypony, now Applejack, care to take a walk with me?"
"Umm Princess? Her leg is..." Big Mac started in his deep voice. He didn't talk much, but everypony always secretly loved his voice when he did talk.
"Of course" smiling Luna picked the orange pony up and set her on her back. "We will be back." and with that she started walking towards the one place she knew they could get privacy. The CMC club house.
"What are we doin here princess?"
"I just need to talk to you without little eavesdroppers."
Applejack looked around for a moment. "But what if those three fillies come here?"
"They won't." Luna compacted a little to help easy Applejacks growing anxiety. "This is a dream, I came to help because the magic around it alerted me to your nightmare."
"If this here is a nightmare, then why can't I just wake up?"
"Well you see, I am blocking that for now. We do not have nightmares for no reason, so I am here to help figure out why you had your nightmare. Dreams are reflections of inner consciousness that come out when we are sleeping because there is nothing holding them back. If we don't figure it out, you could have it again." Luna explained trying to keep it at simple as possible.
Applejack took a minute trying to go over Lunas lesson for a minute. "Ok, I think I understand. Yer here to help figure out why I'm havin my nightmare, cause it might come back?"
"Exactly. Now what happened in the wake world that could have caused it?"
"I aint sure. Last thing I remember is applebuckin, since the season just started. I heard something crack, and that is the last thing I remember."
Luna thought for a moment and took in all of the facts. Realizing that the farmer needed to figure it out by herself, she chose not to state the obvious. "Why don't you want any help?"
"Cause I don't need any." She replied quickly without even thinking about it.
"Are you sure that is the only reason?" Luna put her hoof around Applejack
"Positive."
"I would think the element of honesty, would be a little more honest with herself." Luna chuckled
Applejack sighed and sat down knowing that she wasn't going to fool Luna. "I s'pose there is a neither reason." knowing more words would only make things worse Luna decided to just remain quite but instead walked over and gave wrapped her wing around her. "I don't know why I am having this dream, but I am scared I am gonna hurt myself. If I get hurt I can't farm."
"Why are you so scared? I would think it would be nice to take a break." Luna said a little confused
"You see princess, me and working on the farm is apart of who I am. If I had to stop even for a few weeks, then it wouldn't feel right. Like, I ain't me. It would be similar if someone told you, you couldn't raise the moon and stars, or Twi she can't use magic. Or even Pinkie she couldn't throw a party. " she finally admitted mainly to herself then to Luna.
Luna thought for a minute at her examples. "I understand your fears. When I was around your age I broke my horn off, and lost almost all of my magic for a while. I was told if I tried using magic then it might disappear forever. I had to wait until it grew back before I could even attempt even a basic levitation spell. Not being able to rise and lower the moon was a horrible feeling, but I managed to get through it."
"How Princess?"
"Easy, I got to sleep in and let Celestia do all of the work, then laugh at her when she failed. It wasn't like she could say no. My sister is the only other pony who can control the moon, so she didn't have a choice." and with that both of them started laughing.
"Applejack!"
Applejack jumped slightly at the sound of the voice. "What was that."
"Somepony is trying to wake you." Luna explained
"Applejack, wake up!" The voice called again
"I must go now." Luna told her sadly knowing if Applejack woke up, she would be stuck in the dream world. "If you wish though I could come talk with you and see if I can help you further" she offered
"APPLEJACK! Can you hear me?"
"I'd love the help. Thank yall princess." and with that Luna left and her world went white.
"Where am I?"
"Applejack, you are gonna be ok. We need to get you to the hospital." Applebloom explained. It was then she noticed Sweetie bell and Scootaloo getting a wagon ready. Remembering that Big Mac and Granny were out of town.
"What happened?" She asked noticing the sharp pain in her leg as her vision swam
"We just found you like this. Were not sure." Scootaloo called out. It was then they noticed a flash of light.
"My little ponies, do not try to move her in that. I can carry her to the hospital for you." Luna asserted looking at the farm ponies broken leg.
"Thank you princess Luna." the cmc chorused
"How bad is it?" Applejack asked terrified knowing the answer
"It best if you don't know." Luna admitted picking the injured pony up in her magic. "Lets go."
Dear journal,
Today I learned that even if a pony is unaware why they are having a certain dream, it might be because what they are dreaming of, is happening in the wake world. Tonight I helped a friend who was hurt in the wake world, and it showed her injury in her dream, but she could care less about it. All she wanted was to be herself. A trait I see in very few ponies because they always follow trends, or try to impress.
"Hello?" Luna called out into the pitch black room. "Funny I could have sworn that Rainbow Dash was having a nightmare." Thinking for a moment she started silent giggling to herself. "I wonder if she is afraid of the dark. The Nightmare Moon could be doubled for next nightmare night."
It was then Luna heard a soft noise comming from a little further in the room. It sounded almost like a muffled crying.
"Rainbow Dash?"
"They, I, evil, hehehe, please, go away." Rainbow whispered. It was then Luna lit her horn and discovered they were in Fluttershys cottege. Rainbow was hidding under the bed.
"Rainbow, I am here to help you." Luna cooed kneeling down so she would be closer to the petrified pegasus.
"Run, run far away while you can." Rainbow whipsered again to the princess.
"What happened? What are you so scared of?" Luna asked trying to look around the room. It was then she saw several glowing eyes comming from a corner, and one was moving to her. It was too dark to see what they where, even for her. Noticing the eyes change into more "evil" eyes, the princess froze. "Uhh, what, eyes, huh, evil?" was all she could manage before galloping to join Rainbow.
"Princess?" Rainbow squeeked in a trembling voice
"Yes?"
"Please, please, PLEASE! tell me this is just a nightmare. That those.....things........ aren't real?"
"Yes this is just a nightmare." Luna confirmed.
"Then can we go somewhere else? Please?!"
Luna lit her horn, and they moved to the Sweet apple acres and sat under a apple tree.
"Thank you. Thank you so much Princess!" Rainbow exclaimed while hugging her.
"Trust me. I am more then happy to do it." Luna wrapped her wings around the still trembling pegasis. "Now tell me what happened? Also what were those things?"
"I was watching a show with this mare Lyra, and it had those in it." Rainbow explained
"No you know exactly why you are having this dream?" Luna deadpanned, and slightly relieved that she wouldn't have to do much work
"Yes" Rainbow confirmed
"Ok then. So what are those things?"
Rainbow thought for a moment before sighing in defeat. "I don't remember what they are called."
"Do you remember the show?"
"My little......." grunting to herself that she was having such a hard time remembering.
"It is ok Rainbow, some ponies just have trouble remembering while in the dream realm." Luna tried to confort her.
"Umm Princess?" Rainbow said with her voice quivering slighty again
"Yes?" Luna was curious why the pegases was acting weird all of a sudden. It was then she turned around and saw it.
A army of those creatures were falling out of the trees. It was then Rainbow and Luna noticed, there were no actual apples. Both let out a small sqeak before galloping at full speed twards the apple celler.
"We should be safe here." Rainbow explained. She spent almost as much time at the farm the Applejack
"Ok. Also I am sorry. I am your princess, I should be able to take care of those things with a spell or something. Not running like a foal on nightmare night." Luna explained looking down, mentally beating her self.
"Don't worry about it. Were all ponies here, and lets face it. Those things are......" Rainbow trailed off. After a moment they both bursed up laughing, unfortuantly that was quickly interupted by a loud crash. They both turned around to be face to face with them.
"HOW DO THEY KEEP FINDING US!" Rainbow shouted as they both ran again, this time twards the forest.
"I have a idea."
"Yes princess?"
"Find a parasprite! That thing will get rid of them in less then 10 seconds." Luna explained only to see Rainbows eyes lit up, with a devilish smile.
After a minute of running they stumbled across a group of parasprites. "Hey guys, we need help." Rainbow told them trying to catch her breath. The group crowded around them.
"Can you get rid of those things?" Luna asked as calm as she could manage. It was then the parasprites looked at the army with wide eyes before running.
"Are you joking me!" Rainbow sqeaked again before running. "Any new ideas?"
"LUNA!"
"What was that?" Rainbow asked hearing the strange, god like voice.
"LUNA!"
"That is somepony trying to wake me." She explained
"Perfect. You wake up, then wake me up? PLEASE?!" Rainbow begged
"Normally I would try and help you, so you wouldn't have this dream again. I can make a exception right now though."
"LUNA!" The voice yelled again
"Go!" Rainbow yelled as the princess of the night vanished.
"What, what's going on?" Luna asked comming back to the wake world.
"You were acting weird. I thought something might have gone wrong. Are you ok?" Celestia askedd obviously worried about her younger sister.
"Yes, a nightmare took a unexpected turn, and I became part of it. Thank you Tia, I don't think I could have gotten out alone." Luna told her trying to make herself smaller
"It was not problem Lulu. Also don't act like that. You look like a filly trying to get out of trouble" Celestia giggled. "What got you so worked up anyways."
Luna pulled out a piece of paper and drew something on it. "I have to go help Rainbow Dash, but if you see any of these creatures, send them to the moon." Luna asserted before disapearing with a teliportation spell
Celestia looked at the peice of paper before her eyes went wide. "Oh dear Faust, the Ferbys are back."
"Is anypony there?" Luna called out into the empty garden. Luna had located dream magic telling her somepony was having a bad dream, but she couldn't tell who it was, whitch is very uncommon. "It is so peaceful here. Wait this is the Canterlot castle gardens." She told herself looking around she noticed a statue that hasn't been there is a while. "Discord? Could somepony be having a memory?" She asked herself
"A little help please" a raspy voice called out
"I can help you, if you come out of hiding." Luna called back
"I am not hiding"
"Then where are you." She asked with a small chuckle
"Over here" The voice called out
"There is not one location your voice is comming from. You sound like you are in a cave." Luna explained a getting a little annoyed
"Look to your left."
"I don't see anypony. Wait Discord?" She asked in pure shock.
"Yes, Can you please help me now?" He asked irritated but thankful
"Of course." And with that Luna cast a undo spell, turning him back into his normal mix-matched self.
"Thank you Lulu" Discord started streaching like a cat. "No matter how many times you are turned to stone, it never gets any better." He explained with a grin
"Is everything ok?"
"Yes. Well other then this dream, I have to say it is quite irritating being turned to stone when you didn't do anything wrong." The draconaquess explained trying not to laugh
"If everything is ok, then why are you having a nightmare?" Luna asked with a "you can't get away" glare
"I don't know." He admitted.
"What where you doing when you fell asleep?"
"I was studying new spells for my chaoes magic. I must have done the wrong spell or something, because I don't even remember falling asleep." He explained climbing up into a tree like a snake
"What else did you do today?" Luna asked curiously while flying up to eyelevel with Discord
"Other then my tea party with Fluttershy, nothing."
Luna started giggling a little. "I'm honestly suprised that the spirt of chaoes could have a nightmare."
"Well I for one am honored" He snapped his talons and a trophy of him appeared with the discrption "number 1 god of chaos" under it.
"I don't get how this registered as a nightmare. You seem perfectly fine to me." Luna joked in a mocking tone, going back down to the ground
"I'm not sure either. I have to admit, I haven't had a dream where I was turned to stone for a while."
"Then why? Can you remember anything else you did today?" She asked a little concerned
"I'm not..." before he could finish their world fell to black.
"Discord!" Luna yelled jumping up in the wake world
"Princess, what's wrong?" Her Lunar guard asked in concern
"I need to go. I have a feeling my friend is in trouble." She explained before teliporting away
"Please, try a diffrent spell Twilight." Fluttershy begged
"I have tried every possible one I know, that could help." Twilgiht fell to the ground in exhustion. "How did this happen....." the unicorn was cut off my a knock on the door.
"Princess Luna." Fluttershy exclaimed in relief "My opologies to wake you Fluttershy, but I am looking for Discord. Have you seen him." The alicorn asked with a hint of worry in her voice
"He is over here. Please, you have to do something." Fluttershy whimpered. It was then Luna noticed Discord turned to stone in the middle of her reading area.
"What happened?" She asked in disbelief
"He was studying a few spells, and somehow turned himself to stone again. Twilight has done everything she can think of, but she, she....." The pegasus trailed off, trying not to cry again.
"Let me see." Luna lit her horn and examined the statue top to bottom in hopes of discovering the spell he used. "I'm sorry, I don't know this spell. I will try my best to undo it though." After about 10 minutes, Luna gave up. "I, I am so sorry. I can't undo this. I will contact Celestia, perhaps she will have better luck."
"He is going to be ok. Right princess?" Twilight asked with a slight tremor in her voice
"Yes, as soon as we can undo this, he will be just fine." Luna assered before turning to the statue again. "Seriosly, you had to turn yourself into stone? If you wanted it that bad, I could have happily done it." She mocked in disbelief
"Honestly, when we first freed him I didn't care if he was free or not, but now I can't imagine a world without him. Even if he makes be want to set him on fire, and feed him to a dragon sometimes." Twilight admitted
"I understand. He is the spirit of chaoes but life has been so much more entertaining since he appeared." Luna explained thinking of the last time she saw him, and how he turned the walls of the castle to marshmallows for a snack.
"You two really mean it?" Fluttershy asked in disbelief
"Yes" Luna and Twilight recited in unison
Fluttershy started giggling "I told you, you were being rediculous."
"What are you talking about." Twilight asked very confused
"Long story."
"DISCORD!" The two asked in suprise
"What, but how, you, here, you, stone, over there. How?" Twilights' mind was attempting to process what was going on, but couldn't quite get it.
"I was telling Fluttershy how you two and Tia wouldn't care if I was turned to stone again. She said I was being rediculous. Rainbow is still 50/50." the draconaquess explained with a huge smle
"Fluttershy, you were in on this?" Twilight asked in shock
"Yes. I'm so sorry, it was the only way I could think of to get rid of his fears." she explained in a whisper, and compressing herself to make her seem smaller
With that Luna teliported her and Twilight to the golden oaks library. "Thank you. Good night princess." Twilight gave the moon princess a hug before heading upstairs and Luna went back to the castle.
"Yeah life is definatly more interesting with him around." Luna giggled to herself
"Why thank you."
"Discord, go back to the cottege before I actually turn you to stone." Luna said annoyed
With that discord disapeared with a note in his place.
"You know you love me."
"Let go!" A white unicorn called out
"Not until your safe!" A grey earth pony yelled back
"Just let me go! It's my fault we're in this mess!"
"Vinyl I swear if you don't shut up, I will drop you off this waterfall!"
"Octavia please. You going to fall too. I'm too heavy! Besides...."
"Just shut up!" Octavia interupted. "I'll figure something out." Vinyl Scratch looked around while her friend held onto her, over the edge of the waterfall at winsome falls.
They had been camping, and a certin DJ wanted to get a recording of the waterfall for a new song. After slipping and falling while leaning over the water, Octavia had grabbed Vinyl.The force of the river was too powerful, preventing her from pulling her unicorn friend back to safty.
"I have a idea! You have to trust me though." Vinyl yelled to her friend.
"You scare me, when you ask me to trust you." Octavia replied with a 'don't do anything stupid' glare
"On the count of 3, let me go. I promise I will be ok."
"Are you crazy!" Octavia yelled in dibelief
"Yes!" Vinyl yelled back with a slight chuckle in her voice "Now let go in 3,2,....."
They both were slightly startled at a flash of white light. "Princess Luna!" The two recited in unison
"I got you" Luna said flying up. Grabing the two musicans in her aura, she lowered them saftly to the ground by the lake
"Thank you! Thank you princess Luna." Octavia squeeked bowing
"Hey Princess. Thanks for helpin out." Vinyl said a little more casually. Smirking at the death glare her friend was giving her.
"You know it is deep enough here, that you could have just jumped." Luna retorted with a smile "Ponies do it all the time"
"I'm aware. Try explaining that to her though." Vinyl explained looking over at Octavia who was standing in shock.
"Vinyl, show the Princess a little more respect!" Octavia growled. "I am so sorry for my friends behavior."
"It's perfectly fine. We know each other, because I hire her for a lot of my non-formal parties. Along with Pinkie Pie." Luna explained
Luna and Vinyl looked at each other and bursted out laughing at the memory of last time they saw each other. "I see that your coat is white again." Luna snickered
"And yours isn't" Vinyl got out through her giggling
Luna looked pale and beat red at the same time "We shall never do that again."
Luna and Vinyl just burst up laughing as Octavia was struck speachless.
"You, and Luna, I, I mean the princess, uhhh. Huh?" The earth pony couldn't even bring herself to make a full sentence.
Luna put up a sound barrier around the two. "How long should we wait untill we tell her that we were just hiding inside a birthday cake for my sisters birthday?" Luna giggled
Vinyl got a mischivious smile "Who says we have to tell her?" Understanding Luna nodded in agreement before dropping the barrier
"Hey Princess, want to do that again?"
"Ms. Scratch!" Octavia squeaked turning bright red
"What? It was yummy!" The unicorn laughed
Luna just sat back and watched the show
"How could you say such a thing in public!"
"It's true! I wish I could have more of it."
Octavia was at a lost of what to say. Turning bright red thinking of Vinyl and the Princess. It was unthinkable "Uhhh..."
"I am sorry, but I really must steal your friend for a little bit." Luna cut in with a smile. "There is something I must do." Luna walked up to the unicorn before teliporting them to the top of the waterall where they could talk privetly without Octavia noticing.
Vinyl started laughing as soon as she saw her friend, still in shock. "I'm scared what is going through her head right now."
"You set that up too perfectly, knowing her of course. I am afraid to know what you are capable of." Luna looked around at the location. "It really is beautiful here. No wonder so many love comming here."
"Love Princess?"
Luna glared at the unicorn. "Don't you even dare.
"Fine, fine. So what up?"
"I was alerted to your dream because you were having a nightmare. If you don't figure out why you are having a nightmare, if could come back again." The night princess explained
"So you are going to help me figure out why I'm having a nightmare?" Vinyl looked over to the river, still soaking wet from her "swim" earlier.
"Exactly." Luna walked up next to Vinyl, admiring the beauty of the river.
The DJ looked confused for a moment "So, how exactly does this work Princess?"
"Lets start with what you were doing before you fell asleep."
A blush came across Vinyls cheeks "I don't think I can really talk about it."
"I think I can take a guess" Luna couldn't help but feel a blush. "We are good friends though, and I need to know, in order to help you." the night princess explained
"Well you see, me and Octavia were watching a movie, and..." she trailed off, and it was obvious to Luna that she was trying to hold back her giggling.
"Well you see, we had a few too many drinks." She admitted
"Ok, this isn't getting us anywhere." The alicorn groaned before getting a michivious smile. "How about this, it is obvious that you are emberessed by this, so what if I told you something emberessing about me."
"Thats not fair" Vinyl pouted "You'll remember this, and most likely I won't after I wake up."
"So that is a no?"
"Heck naw. Spill" She said with a goofy grin
"Well you see, when I was younger I used to love to disguise myself as a regular unicorn and attend the local school." She explained smiling at the memories flooding in
"Thats pretty funny and all, but not exactly what I had in mind."
"I'm not finished." Luna levitated Vinyls glasses off, and put them on herself. "While I attended school, I used to use my magic to make myself all purple, with a white and ice blue mane. I hid my cutie mark and called myself Ice cream Cake."
Hearing the name Vinyl couldn't help but burst up laughing. "Who came up with that!" She giggled trying to catch her breath
"My sister of course." after a moment Luna and Vinyl started laughing. "Your turn."
Vinyl shook her head trying to get a imagage of her, out of her head. "Ok, ok. So me and Octavia had a few too many drinks, and wanted to go swimming. I went to go jump in the water, and quickly found out it was frozen. I knocked myself uncountious, and woke up for a little. We ate, and then I fell back asleep."
Luna just glared at Vinyl in disbelief. "You tried to swim in a frozen pool?"
"Hey don't juge, Ms. Cake" The DJ stuck her tounge out at the princess, who quickly returned the favor.
"So, why are you having a nightmare? Is it from a head injury." Luna wondered outloud
"Naw, I think its from dinner." Vinyl had a funny look on, witch told Luna she was thinking. "We found some mushrroms in the forest while we are on a walk, and Octavia made dinner with them. They were really good, and" The unicorns eyes went wide as she remembered seeing pretty colors before opening the bottle.
"You didn't" Luna just shook her head. She loved Vinyl, she was a awesome friend, but she could act like a little filly at times.
Vinyl just sqeed in response
"So Ms. Scratch...."
"I know, I know. I'll be by the castle tomorrow. Just send me a letter as a reminder."
"Of course. Now if you don't mind, I thinki I need a drink after this." Luna and Vinyl shared a laugh after this before the Alicorn returned to the wake relm.

What my sister is trying to say is,
I really need to stop going into Vinyl Scratches dreams. I always end up regretting it.
