After Punk Rock, an outcast from Cloudsdale, runs away and goes to Ponyville, he has to start his life with the help of Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, and Applejack. His siblings still wish for him to come back home, even though they're the reason he left in the first place. With the looming feeling of guilt while trying to fit in with his new life, Punk Rock restarts and tries this life at Ponyville.
