The great red and black alicorn purge

It was a normal day for twilight sparkle she was browsing books in princess celestia's personal library. She made her way round the shelves glancing at titles like "how to start-up a Kingdom" "How to get rid of your sister: extreme edition" "How to troll a pony kingdom" and "How to train your student". She felt so lucky to be able to look at the princesses personal collection of books a smile adorned her face as she hummed a merry tune. Celestia has many books on ancient history and many books which are not printed anymore , which would be likely as she is an immortal alicorn. There were so many books oh so many books. It was books galore practically everything in this room was a book. There were books on dark magic , books on ancient historical events of which no pony would of heard of. If there was one place she would love to be trapped in it would be here.

A loud "POP" could be heard as a certain Draconequus by the name of discord appeared in front of her.

"Watcha doing there twilight reading oh you do so love to read don't you twilight" Discord bellowed as he flew around Twilight in a much smaller form much to Twilights discomfort.

"What do you want Discord "Twilight said angrily as she tried to browse the book shelf.

"Wha..t do I need to have a reason to talk to my favourite number 1 princess of all time and maybe im hear to be nice"

"unlikely "Twilight huffed as she turned around to look at some more books

"Yes well its your lucky day twilight I have personally chosen you out of all the ponies in Equestria to be able to choose a book from my personal library "He said as he read it off a scroll of which he pulled from thin air. Twilight perked up at this as well she loves books if she wasn't princess of friendship she could definitely be a contender to be princess of books.

"What's the catch" Discords not usually this nice to me she thought

"NO catch no catch at all just me being nice and friendly and trying to be a good friend" "Are you saying im not a good friend Twilight sparkle princess of friendship "Discord started to cry fake tears and blowing his nose on a hanky

"No I didn't say that" "Ok Discord I will  choose a book from your personal library"

"HUZZAH" Yelled discord as he clicked his claws together .

Twilight felt nauseous. That must of been one long teleport ."Whoa" Twilight said as she looked around It was a small shelf of books of which she had never seen before. And upon a pedestal was a book named "The great red and black alicorn purge".

"Oh yes that's my favourite book oh so much chaos he caused oh yes" "So much chaos that one caused all with the help of yours truly" "So what do you say Twilight want it" Discord said whilst dangling the book in front of Twilight's face

"I don't know what's it about as there's no blurb or anything" "How old is this thing ?"

"Oh yes it is quite old.Well its about one of the followers of chaos of course.Why would I have books about anything else.It still even emits the chaos energy from the day it was written"

Twilight sparkle's brain whirred into action. Why is Discord being so nice ? Is it a trick? Or is it cursed ? Or maybe he's just being nice maybe. But do I really want that book. Its such a big book.

"No thank you Discord I would like to look at the other books first"

And so Twilight sparkle spent the rest of the evening deciding which books she wanted.

"Ooh I want this one" "No I want this one" "Or this one or maybe even this one " Curse you Discord I cant decide "She stamped her hoof on the ground and huffed.

She looked at the book on the pedestal  and trotted up to it slowly.

She smelled it had the scent of an old book like her first edition copy of Time travel theory by Star swirl the bearded. It was heavy to and leather bound. Faux leather of course no pony was that cruel. She looked behind her to see that Discord had disappeared she took a sneak peek at the first page. The hoof writing was horrendous it looked like it had been written by a foal. It said "This journal belongs to Dusty mop Equestria's finest Janitor"

"Huh I thought this was a book about an historical event not someponies diary how strange"

As she turned back to the cover which had a picture of a mop on it.

"Ahh that explains the cover still don't understand the title at all though" "And I thought there where no other alicorns but us (Celestia , Luna  , Cadence and Twilight )"

But everypony didn't know Luna existed until the elements of harmony freed her from nightmare moons corruption. Or maybe this was just a prank to fool her. Maybe but lets just read a little more.

On the next page was a illustration of a pony. He had a cream coat with a dark brown mane  with a goatee he had brown eyes. Basically he looked like a common pony no pony special.

"He must be the owner of the diary"

Discord chuckled "I leave for a bathroom break and your already breaking the rules well done Twilight well done."

"No I didn't it just opened by itself yes that's right opened by its self"

"Don't worry Twilight I wont tell the Princesses now do you want that book or not Some people don't have all day you know"

"Uhhhh ok " Said Twilight

And by a click of a claw Discord and Twilight appeared in her library.

"Now Twilight be careful with that book and you have 2 months to bring it back otherwise you'll get a fine yada yada you know the rest "

Twilight nodded and headed off to bed with her book in hoof.

When twilight got up stairs and into bed she opened the old book and read.
