The war with the Zombies is finally over for Zoey, Francis and Louis, plus their new ally, Loner, now revealing himself to be names William. Now, the hero's are enjoying a peaceful and quiet life in Equestria with their respective friends.

A few months have passed, and things have finally set in as real for the three former humans, but William is having trouble adjusting to the new, peaceful ways of life. Plagued by nightmares of his past, he feels he could never have a normal life with Celestia.

And, maybe, his fears are well founded...
