Noble Heart has been coronated as Prince Blueblood CIX and his journey to the Equestrian throne has begun. Will he be strong enough to challenge Nightmare Moon and be king, or will he crack beneath the looming threat of the goddess of the night?

Nightmare Moon is coming, and with her, the promise of a dead Equus. Noble Heart Platinum, now coronated as Prince Blueblood CIX, will rule in Queen Celestia's stead once she is banished to the sun by her evil sister. But the crown is a heavy, heavy burden to bear, and to be a ruler requires great sacrifice, suffering, and dedication. Will Prince Blueblood be able to handle the pressure of his eventual battle with Nightmare Moon for the throne? Or will he become a casualty before she is even unleashed from the moon?
