Rain splattered down the windows of my mom’s mini van. I watched one run down the glass, snickering as it formed into the shape of a lightning bolt. It reminded me of Rainbow Dash’s cutie mark.
I’m probably crazy. I’m a fifteen year old boy and I’m sitting in car thinking about My Little Pony. Not only that, but I’m eagerly waiting for the third season to air. I’ve read fanfics to pass the time and rewatched a number of my favorite episodes. My parents defiantly think I'm crazy.
My pleasant thoughts abruptly vanished as the van lurched and my mom screamed. I didn’t know what to think. Everything was moving so fast and I was deathly afraid. Then came a moment of impact. The car was thrown to she side and glass shattered. A sharp pain hit my head and everything went black.
…
My eyes fluttered open. Everything was blurry. I couldn’t quite make out why the air smelled so clean and sweet.
“Excuse me sir, but are you okay?” said a frantic voice
I grunted in response. The voice seemed strangely familiar. I couldn’t quite make out from where
I blinked multiple times. Bright colorful buildings came into focus. Frightened, I sat up and felt a stinging pain in my head. I lay back down and blinked a few more times. When I had the courage to open them again, I saw six pairs of eyes staring at me.
A yellow mare with a flowing pink mane blinked at me with fearful eyes.
“Are…um….you…uh….okay? Sir?” she whispered very shyly.
“Pinkie, go fetch me my medical bag.” The light purple mare demanded.
“Okie dokie lokie.”
Now I decided I was defiantly crazy. I knew all these ponies. Twilight, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Apple Jack were all standing over me with pitiful eyes. Pinkie Pie has just hopped off as Twilight demanded.
This must be a dream. I reached over to my arm to pinch myself. I poked myself with a hard, solid, hoof. I gasped and looked down at my body. Gray fur lined every patch of my skin and there were soft feathery wings at my sides. I started to panic and I tried to get up to figure out what on Earth…or Equestria…was going on.
“Hang on there sugar cube, you hit your head pretty hard when you stopped flyin’” said Applejack.
“While were waiting for Pinkie, lets introduce ourselves cause I have never seen this colt before!” yelled Rainbow Dash.
Nodding in agreement, Twilight said, “My name is Twili-“
“Twilight Sparkle. I know. And your Apple Jack, you, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and the one who just left is Pinkie Pie.”
The mares around me gasped. Fluttershy immediately squeaked as if I scared her.
“IM BACK EVERYPONY!” a very excited Pinkie Pie squealed.
Twilight began to examine my head. She asked me how I knew all of them. I lied and told them that it was because I heard about them wheedling the elements of harmony and defeating both Discord and Nightmare Moon.
“We simply must find a place for this handsome colt to sleep tonight, assuming he lives in Clouds dale, I don’t think hell be able to make it back!” whined Rarity.
I was amazed, the most, as she says; beautiful pony in Equestria was calling me handsome. I was flattered.
“Ooh he can stay at my cottage, I defiantly have enough room, I have a spare, room that Scootaloo, Sweetiebell, and Applebloom used a while ago.” whispered Fluttershy.
She waved me up and I followed her to her house. The others waved goodbye and we continued into the forest.
…
“You can sleep here.” Fluttershy said with a big grin and a squee.
“Thanks, a lot, it means a lot.” I said.
“Um….what was your name again?” She said.
I had to think of something quick because my person name probably wouldn’t fly here. I glanced at my cutie mark, hoping for an idea. Huh, never thought my love of archery meant anything.
“Uh,” I hesitated as I thought. “Trickshot” I winced at how dumb it sounded.
“That’s cute!” She winked.
She trotted down the hall. Halfway down, she turned back and whispered. “Goodnight”
I walked, no, trotted over to a mirror in the corner of the room. Before me stood a gray colt with tattered brown hair. I don’t know why I’m here. I don’t know what I’m doing. But I like it.
I lie down on the bed and lay beneath the covers. I hoped that I wouldn’t wake up where I belonged because I wanted to know why I was here.
…
“Um…I made breakfast…If you want some…” A small whisper woke me up, “Oh my, did I wake you up? I’m sorry.” Fluttershy said.
“No, no its fine.” I said with a yawn.
She led me down to her dining room and he sat at the wooden stools.
“I hope you like pancakes…if not…I could make something else.” The yellow mare hid behind her pink mane.
“No, its fine, this is perfect,” I said with a smile.
After we ate, we met the others at sugar cube corner. We discussed my head injury and I informed them that I was fine.
I enjoyed being in Equestria. More than I enjoyed Earth. I loved how happy every pony was all the time and how Pinkie bursts into song all the time. I’m not sure if I even want to ever go back.
…
A few months passed and it was Heartwarming Eve. I was visiting Fluttershy almost every day. I had noticed that I felt a huge amount of affection for the shy pony.
“I got you something.” I admitted and blushed.
I pushed the colored package over to her.
“Oh you didn’t need to” She said with a shy smile.
She opened the package and pulled out the necklace with a butterfly on it. She broke into a huge smile. She hugged me and kissed me on the cheek.
Immediately, she blushed and said her apologies.
“You don’t have to be sorry I actually liked it very much.” I whispered into her ear. I kissed her on the forehead and we drank our hot coco.
…
It’s been five months since I fell into Pony Ville, Equestria. I’m still amazed every time I wake up and get ready for another amazing day. Not only that, but I’m in Clouds dale with one of the cutest, shiest ponies in Equestria.
Today was Hearts and Hooves day and I’m walking down a cloudy path with Fluttershy’s flank brushing against mine.
“Um….Trick…if I were to tell you something, you wouldn’t…laugh at me right?” Fluttershy murmured.
“No of course not!” I exclaimed.
“Um...okay here it goes….Um, Trick…I think I um…love you…” she wispered so quietly that I barely heard her.
I was amazed. And surprised. How many bronies have their favorite pony tell them that they loved them? But then again, I’m not a brony…I’m a pony.
With a huge smile I responded, “I love you too.” And I kissed her.
…
It has almost been a year since I became a pony, and to tell you the truth, it’s been the best year of my life. I was living with Fluttershy now and everyone admired how cute we are together. Tomorrow, we are going to go to the Grand Galloping Gala tomorrow. We spent the whole day at a park then we went and ate truffles at Sugar Cube Corner.
Now, were lying in bed and I’m realizing how much I love this pony. She’s beautiful, sweet, and the most caring pony I know.
“Are you ready for tomorrow, my love?”
“Yes I am.” She squeaked with excitement.
I wrapped my front hoof around her waist and pulled her close and kissed her. We snuggled closer together and I stroked her mane until I heard the soft sigh of her breath as she fell asleep.
…
I woke up but I didn’t open my eyes. I wanted today to be special. But something was wrong.
The room I was in wasn’t as warm as Fluttershy’s cottage, and the bed wasn’t as soft as usual. I opened my eyes and found myself in a white room. Tears filled my eyes as I looked down, Instead of my soft gray fur, was a hospital gown. Instead of the hooves that I hugged Fluttershy with just the night before, there were ten human fingers.
I looked around, my vision blurred by my tears; I realized that I was in an emergency room. There were flowers and get well cards lining the tables on either side of my bed.
I scanned among the waiting room which I could see from my window. I saw my mom and dad sleeping in two of the chairs. I looked back at the flowers. Something caught my eye.
A small, yellow, plastic pony sat staring at me. Her pink mane was covering one of her eyes. I reached over and with one finger pushed the hair away from her plastic face.
“I’m sorry that I couldn’t make it…”I whispered as tears filled my eyes.
