All she wants to do is create her dresses and sell them. Why can't she spend even five minutes with me! JUST FIVE!? "Rarity, can we go outside and play some games?" "No Sweetie Belle, I am working right now. Could you just grab me some of that fabric over there. I need to get to sewing this dress." "But you haven't done anything with me in months." "Get me the fabric and stop backtalking me. You listen, I can't right now." "But..." I said with a tear rolling down my face. "Just leave for awhile. Just give me the night off from your complaining please. If you will not stop complaining, than please go stay somewhere else for the night." "Oh, I will. For much longer than a night though." I said angrily and bolted out of the room. Now I just needed to let off some steam. So I went to Sweet Apple Acres and told Applejack what happened and she said I could stay the night as long as I helped out around the farm. I got all of my anger out kicking the apples out of trees. It helped me relax a lot. After I somehow got almost three hundred apples, I went back to the house and gave them to Applejack. She took them and said "How did you get this many apples Sweetie Belle. Your just like an Apple family member. Are you sure your names not Apple Belle?" "I wish my name was Apple Belle. I pretended the trees were Rarity when I kicked them." "Well ah'll call you Apple Belle Then." "Thank you so much Applejack." "No, thank you, Sw- ah mean, Apple Belle. Why don't we eat dinner than head to sleep for the night, okay sugarcube?" "Sure, and how long can I stay for?" 'As long as ya'll need to." "Thank you A.J" The next morning I went back to work after breakfast, Applejack told me to buck some more apples out of the trees. Apparently 'buck' means to kick. Applejack found me when I was doing my work and asked me how I was doing. I responded "Ah am fine!" It took me a few moments to realize I had let my I sound like Ah. A classic sign of an Apple Family accent. "Is that an accent Ah hear, Apple Belle is really coming out now." Applejack said before she laughed and walked away. "I think that sounds good with me" "It really does" Applejack yells from across the pasture. I laughed and went back to my work. My strategy for this was still pretending the trees were Rarity's face. The fun part was always letting the apples fall into the baskets on my back. It was hard at first, but I eventually got to a point where I almost never missed catching an apple. I had fun. After all the work, Applejack brought me and Apple Bloom out to eat. She then brought us for a walk around town. We spent hours together. I actually felt accepted, like I was a family member. I want to stay Apple Belle forever. Wait, can I? Yay! Another fun filled day at Sweet Apple Acres! Applejack showed me how to cook Brownies, Pies, Steak, BBQ, and Apple Cider. The Apple Cider recipe is private. No asking questions, you hear. Anyway I bucked and brought back 1200 apples from my work today! When I went inside, I asked if I could go out and just walk around for a while. She refused saying, if you go now you won't get back until really late. Just stay, I will let you take the whole day out tomorrow. I was happy and said "Thank you so much! Can Ah take Apple Bloom with me? "Sure, just don't get in trouble, okay?" "Ah promise we wont. We might just walk around to the stores, get some things to eat, and just go to different landmarks." "Okay, Have fun, if i'm not awake, just leave a note on the dining room table." And Applejack walked upstairs. I have never been so happy to live somewhere. I could thank Applejack for weeks straight. The next day we left a note for her saying we would be back and we left. First place we went was the library to buy the best book of this time 'The Fright of Love'. It was by a new author known as RoGS. I wonder what she has coming next. After this we were walking and saw Rarity. She looked at us and said to me "Sweetie Belle, I thought I told you to come back after one night, I will beat you so hard you won't be able to sit for weeks, get over here NOW!" She Screamed "Run" She whispered and I listened, I was long gone. We took the train to Sweet Apple Acres with Rarity hot on our tails. We managed to get to the house. Applejack saw what was happening. She jumped on Rarity and held her down while Big Macintosh grabbed the police. "Girls." She yelled "Go with Braeburn in Appleoosa and stay there. The fair is in town there. I will take care of this" Rarity struggled to break loose of Applejack's grasp but failed miserably. Rarity realized she was going to jail. The police showed up and arrested Rarity, and yet, I still smiled. I don't know why, I just smiled. I was sadly happy to see her gone. Now I could stay with Applejack.
The Apple Family OathView OnlineA True SisterThe Apple Family OathOne thing that is completely different in the Apple family than living with Rarity is they go to church every Sunday. Rarity despised all of those who had anything to do with religion. I took pride in doing this. Due to me living with the Apple family, I was eventually required to take an oath binding me to the family. At first I felt slightly iffy about it, but I spoke to Applejack about this and she said there are reasons for the oath she can not say, but they revolved around betrayal and if I did it, I would learn the reasons when I became a mare. If I really wanted more information now she said I could meet with the priest to discuss it. I decided against this and then three Sundays after I moved into Sweet Apple Acres I took the oath and was there and then OFFICIALLY part of the Apple family, and under NO CIRCUMSTANCES could I leave this family. (Whether I wanted to or not). And yet again, I was happy and smiled. I smiled because I knew Rarity would exile me. She would not let me back. She has this hatred for religion and this is because a group of priests showed up to Ponyville and asked our cousin Sneezey Sparkles to go to church that weekend. He did, and was murdered while he was there. Ever sense then Rarity hated religion. After I made the oath everybody in the Apple family opened up to me. They all welcomed me and treated me like they loved me. I was an Apple family member and I loved it. Applejack told everypony I was her sister. I went along with that. What really made me happy was Applejack's sheer leniency. She let me do as I wish. She said to me the day after I made the oath "Ah really don't care what ya'll do. Just don't get in to much trouble because if ya'll get arrested Ah ain't bailing you out. If ya'll make a mistake, don't come crying to me. Ya'll better learn from your mistake. Ah expect you to be independent. Rarity may have babied you, but that ain't happening here. And you also need to get a productive amount of work done, once you finish work, do as you wish, just don't pester everyone! You hear?" "Alright Applejack" I happily responded. I like that, I thought to myself. In the midst of all of this, Rarity had asked to speak to Sweetie Belle. Sweetie decided to see what she wanted and headed to the police station after her work. Rarity said to Sweetie Belle "Look, I'm sorry for all of this. When I get out, will you be coming back to live with me? I was planning to spend more time with you. Maybe bring you, Scootaloo, and Apple Bloom to an amusement park." "Ah... Ah can't. If Ah do Ah... Never mind just no." "You're not an Apple! Stop talking like that! What's wrong?" "Ah screwed up really bad. Ah thought you would never really do something like this for me." "What did you do Sweetie?" "Ah... Ah... Ah took an oath to bind myself to the Apple family. So if I leave Ah will be killed." "What were you thinking!!!" "That you didn't care, Ah was still angry at you, Ah'm sorry Rarity. Ah really screwed up." "Yeah, you did. Leave me alone, just GET OUT!!!" I left and went home to Sweet Apple Acres. Applejack asked me how it went as I told her where I was going earlier. "Well" I said "She told me she wanted me back so she could bring me, Scootaloo and Apple Bloom to an amusement park and spend more time with me." "Well, ya'll know ah will do that with ya'll and more" "Ah know. It just has me thinking" "Ah understand that. Ya'll should just try to forget. Ah will do that with ya'll soon. Okay?" "Alright Applejack. Thank ya'll so much." "You're welcome sugarcube." I got up and went outside. I found Apple Bloom to ask her for advise. Her response "Ah know your struggle. Ah have seen other ponies go through this. Here is what ah say, ignore her, forget about her, ya'll can't get out of this. It is not possible. Remember in the oath you said May only death do us part. Ya'll are stuck. So just forget about Rarity. That's what ah say, at the least." She then walked away. I decided in the end to take her advice. Rarity sent me an apology letter for getting mad. I read it, ripped it up, and threw it away. I couldn't believe myself, I ruined my chances of spending any time with my actual sister. Still though, I can't shake the feeling that I am doing much better now. I am much happier, stronger, and focused. I am doing better in school and life in general. But yet, I still miss Rarity. I can't go back now. I guess I will stop thinking about this, but it will be hard.
A Day in the Court of Equestria & Every AppleView OnlineA True SisterA Day in the Court of Equestria & Every AppleToday was the court date for Rarity's arrest. I was forced to go as the victim, Rarity, the defendant, and Applejack, a witness. The prosecutors gave their evidence, the defense gave theirs. I told my piece of the story and so did Applejack. It went smoothly. In the end, Rarity was found guilty for 2 counts of child abuse, threatening a child, and 2 counts of attempted kidnapping. She lost custody of me, my custody was given to Applejack, She got 10 years in prison. Applejack looked at me and winked. Now I was all hers permanently, and I could not do anything about it. This entire issue reminds me of 'The Fright of Love'. Even my name was used in it. While I was having these thoughts I heard Applejack yell up the stairs to me "Apple Belle, could you run out to town and grab me a few things, Ah wrote them out here." "Sure" I responded "How hot is it" "Its around 115 degrees." "Can ah have some extra money to buy a hat like yours. Ah need the shade." "Ah have an extra." She came upstairs and put one on my head. "Keep it" she said. I went out wearing the hat. Because of the way the hat was made I had to put my mane into a ponytail (Ironically) to get the hat comfortably on. Applejack showed me how to do all of that and I left. Thankfully, no more sun, my eyes were safe from the bright torture that was the sun. As I was walking I saw my distant cousin, Diamond Tiara, if she saw me with a ponytail and Applejack style hat, she would surely tell everyone and make me the butt of every joke for the next decade or so. I hid in a bush until she passed and went I on with my business. I decided at this point I might as well go full on with the Apple family style and get my mane dyed blonde. I grabbed everything I needed and went home. Everyone seemed to like my new hair color so I decided to keep it. I am starting to feel like this is to good to be true. Like all of this is some sort of messed up dream. I know it isn't, it is just, I really can't say. I feel like I am manipulating this in some way. Like I want to follow the well known Apple Family Stereotype. I literally am following the Apple Family stereotype. As I thought about this, I was walking. As I walked I tripped. When I hit the ground my eyes opened. A light above me, fast beeps, as I breathed slower, the beeps slowed down. I realized where I was, a hospital. I looked up and saw Rarity. I said "No! I want to go back to Sweet Apple Acres with Applejack." "Hold on. You were dreaming? Sweetie Belle, what did you dream about?" "I dreamed I became part of the Apple Family and was renamed Apple Belle and-... I wish it was true!" I started crying right there and then. "Sweetie Belle, you have been in a coma for three and a half years." "Wait, what happened." "You fell out of bed and hit your head really hard. Its okay, your fine." I cried. I just wanted my dream back. But wait, I can make it happen. When I am fully healed, I have an idea... THE END
