Dear Diary,

Hello to anyone who decides to read this! My name’s Scarlette, and I’m going to try to write in this every day. Just today, at the place where I work, the coffee shop in Las Pegasus, just got a new boss! His name’s Rowan. He isn’t the nicest, but I can’t do anything about it I guess. Our old boss, Mrs. Okami, ended up moving away for a business deal and we were stuck with Rowan. Whatever, I’ll probably just sit in the corner of the kitchen drawing like I always have and still get away with it. Okami never was the smartest.

On the topic of the coffee shop, my friend from University, Amana, came in today. She had her sketchpad, and she motioned me over. Turns out she had an idea to make a sort of wall painting on the coffee shop to make it stand out more, over our normal brick wall. I loved the idea, so I took her sketch of it and showed it to Rowan. He wasn’t sure, and said he’d decide tomorrow. Even my co-workers Koloro and Hazel liked the idea, so I hope he decides to go along with it. Amana will need a bit of money though, so I put out a tip jar on the counter in hopes of getting some bits to help pay off the paint expenses. I can only hope we make enough.
