Twilight Sparkle and Rarity....whatever her last name is, sat in the largest room of the admittedly giant crystal castle that belonged to the princess of friendship. They each sat in large crystal chairs (more like thrones) that both had decorated in different manners. Twilight's had little more than a banner with her cutie mark sewn onto it and a soft throw pillow to make the seat more comfortable, whereas Rarity had gone all out. Decorating the chair/throne with various pieces of silk. The actual seat had the a satin lining, and with Twilight's permission she had carved a picture of herself into the back board. However, the same banner with her cutie mark still hung on the top of the chair.

Suddenly, Rarity felt her cutie mark, a symbol that had appeared on her thigh years ago when she learned just how good she was a dress making and the like, pulse with energy. It was glowing, the bright light shining through the dress that she wore. As Rarity looked down to inspect it, the crystal map in the center of the room began to hum. A shiny ball of light materialized over the center of the Everfree Forest. As the light dimmed 3 symbols, 3 cutie marks, could be seen, each floating around where the ball of light had been hovering. The first one, a white cloud with a rainbow colored lightning bolt shooting out of it, the cutie mark of Rainbow Dash. The other, 3 pink balloons of different colors, this was the mark of Pinkie Pie. The final cutie mark was of course, that of Rarity. 3 diamonds like gems.

Rarity and Twilight looked from the map to each other and back at the map. 3 cutie marks floating over that area meant Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity needed to go there. Luckily, the Rainbow and Pinkie just happen to burst into the castle at that moment. Rainbow was flying at amazing speeds with Pinkie on her back, what was even more amazing is how Rainbow came to a screeching halt just before the map. It was clear to see through her sky blue pants that her cutie mark was also glowing, and one could assume Pinkie's was as well. The athlete was trying to catch her breath.

"We came as fast as we could....our cutie marks started glowing while I was helping Pinkie and we-" Her words were cut short when she saw the map. The 3 cutie marks floating above the forest. "Oh cool, the Everfree forest. Haven't been there in a while. So who's going. Me, Pinkie, and....Rarity?" Rainbow looked puzzled, turning her head to Rarity.

"Problem darling?" Rarity asked, confused as to why Rainbow was confused.

"Well, don't get me wrong I like adventures and your nice and all but, you're not the biggest fan of that forest. Every time you have to go in there your fancy outfits get covered in dirt or torn up. Just doesn't seem like the kind of mission you'd want to go on." Rainbow tried to avoid offending Rarity. Most of the time it was fun to do stuff with her like fighting monsters or going to parties, but Rainbow really wasn't in the mood to hear the fashionista complain about dirty clothes the whole time.

"For your information I happen to have an outfit that I made just for this kind of event. Now Twilight, could you tell Spike that I'm going to have to cancel out tea time today? I need to get prepared." With that Rarity stood from her seat raised her head as high as it would go, closed her eyes, made a "hmph" sound and walked out of the room, but not before accidentally bumping into a wall. Twilight was about to tell Rainbow and Pinkie something, but Rainbow turned around and flew out of the castle while Pinkie Pie waved goodbye to Twilight.

"Aw, now I don't even get a line. Wait, yes I did!" Twilight smiled happily.
