My little OFF: Batting is magic
The batter walked through a pure white hallway after he defeated Hugo. His cleats clicking against the white floor with every step. He looked around with his four eyes, until he came to a large room. At the end of the room was a switch. He immediately knew what the switch does and was going to pull it.
"Finally, I can end this once and for all. I Will end this world's suffering, I will make it pure." He said, crossing to the other side.
"Stop right there, you imposter!" A voice yells, causing the batter to stop halfway through the room. The batter turns around and sees a cat walking towards him. He immediately knew who it was, The Judge.
"I must say that I had placed the blindest of confidences, the solidest of hopes and the most sincere belief in you." The Judge said. "We can well say that I have erred to the bones. But the real betrayer is rather the one who lies beyond the eyes of the cat. What have you done, puppeteer?" The Judge asks, just as a shadowy figure appears in front of them. "Is the opaque mist of he scenaristic frame really your excuse for killing wife and child? You have not purified this place. You have destroyed it, eradicated it. You have immersed it into a pristine nothingness." He said.
"It's better like that." The batter said.
"I should have not leant you my hand. I should have detected the black flame that consumed your soul from the beginning. Puppeteer, join me. Expiate the sins with me that we are guilty of by preventing his monster from completing his work." The Judge said.
"Don't do that. I need you to purify this world." The batter said.
"The time has come to render your final and futile judgment." The Judge stated. The figure stared at the batter, then at the judge. The figure walks towards, the batter.
A glint of anger shows itself in The Judge's eyes. "... Too bad for you, Puppeteer, you will die in control of your evil marionette. It is time for you to wave goodbye to what little you have of your existence!" The Judge yells. The Judge charges at The Batter, claws extended. The Batter's add-ons sprang into action as he took out his baseball bat. The battle was fierce, The Judge lashing out with ferocious attacks, the batter returning the attacks with the same quality. And the add-ons supporting, offensively or defensively. The battle took a long time, but the batter came out victories.
"This..." the judge gasps.
"It's over. Escaping from your purpose is impossible." The batter said, delivering the killing blow to The Judge. The Judge's body laid there lifeless and empty. The Batter turned around and walked towards the switch. He reaches for the switch and pulls it. The whole world goes black.
"The switch is now on OFF." The Batter's voice said through the darkness.
