The King in Equestria
Chapter 1
Load Full Story"You really suck," the King's red-eyed head idly commented as he took yet another blow from Steve's Big Bertha sword.
"Coming from the GIANT THREE-HEADED DRAGON TRYING TO KILL ME, I really don't that holds a lot of weight."
"Hey! I was minding my own business until you came-"
"And defended myself from the dragon who began trying to dismember me."
"Blame it on Yellow!"
"You always blame it on me."
"It usually is."
"Would you two NOT?" the middle head growled angrily.
"But-"
"Stop."
This idle bickering and chatting continued throughout the battle, until Steve finally landed the final blow on the dragon. The King let loose a primal roar to be heard across the world, a sign the King has fallen.
"Are we dead?"
"No, but we tried, I guess. Where are we, anyway?"
"Umm, if my eyes are working, we're falling inside a meteor."
"WHAT?"
The King proceeded to fall through the atmosphere at an alarmingly fast rate. Is this it? they all wondered. Their question was answered as they hit the ground with an "goophh!".
The meteor shattered. As the giant dragon crawled out of his transport, he looked around...then realized he wasn't so giant anymore.
"We're babies!" red shouted.
"I didn't notice."
Yellow sniffed the air. "I don't think we're in Kansas anymore."
"We might as well explore, since it looks like we're stuck here."
The mini-King wandered around a bit. It was nighttime, so chances of being spotted were slim, they hoped. They saw a small village, a large, hollow looking tree lit up from the inside, a large castle near the village, a city on the mountainside, and a dense forest.
However, they also saw the sapling.
It was small, but it was recognized immediately.
"Hey, that's a Goodness tree sapling!"
"No shit, Sherlock. Also, it's a GOLDEN ORE tree, not a Goodness tree."
The sapling, although small, was definitely a small Goodne- I mean, Golden Ore tree, complete wth emeral leaves and a gold trunk.
"Since they mature quickly, we could hollow it out at the right age, and live inside it. Any objections to that?"
"Nope."
"Negatory, sir!"
"Okay, so our first priority is food. We could hunt in the forest, or hope the inhabitants of the village are nice enough to give us food. I think we all agree that hunting seems better."
"I won't argue."
Meanwhile, in Ponyville...
"Spiiiiike!"
The alicorn princess' call woke the dragon, and he flopped out of his bed.
"Did you catch that meteorite on the recording telescope?"
"Uhhh, yeah! Yeah, I did, Twilight!" Spike said excitedly, because he knew meteorites sometimes had delicious space gems on them.
"Well," Twilight said, laughing, knowing that was the only reason he stayed up with their new telescope, "any gems I find, I'll see if they're safe to eat and normal."
"Thanks, Twi!"
"Tomorrow, will you head to the crash site with me and check it out?" she inquired.
"Sure thing, Twilight! I mean, I AM your number one assistant, after all."
The alicorn only chuckled softly.
"Let's get back to bed," she said.
