Spike and the other Cutie Mark Crusaders were out playing by Sweet Apple Acres when Scootaloo goes missing. Later on Sweetiebell goes missing. Spike and Applebloom go looking for them, but instead of finding the two, something else finds Applebloom and Spike. The two barely manage to escape, what can only be described as, a faceless slender pony. After Twilight here's there story she gathers up her friends and decides to go looking for the missing fillies. However things don't go as planned.
