"I got the answer we needed, Cassiel. What do we do now?"

"Now, we train.", she said as she teleports David into some kind of barrack, in there was two dummies. But these aren't the normal training dummies he knows, this thing was made entirely out of flesh and bones, and the surprising thing was: they can move. One of them was wearing a tuxedo while the other was wearing a black t-shirt with jeans like a normal teenager.

"What in the world is this place?", David said while looking at one of the dummies, it turned back at him and make him a little bit startled.

"Welcome to The Barracks, David. This place is going to be our training ground."

"Greetings, David. Would you like to have a hand-to-hand combat?", one of the dummy said while lifting up its fist, looking like it is ready to fight.

David took a step back before saying, "Woah, hold your horses! I'm not here to fight anybody, at least give me some times to train first."

The dummy stand back to its normal stance and spoke up, "Fair enough, sir. Would you like us to train you with your combat skills, sir?"

David looked at Cassiel and whispered, "Do you think this is a good idea to have them teach me hand-to-hand combat? Because the last time I remember, I needed magic to defeat Sombra."

"Do not worry about it, it is best to have yourself prepared than unprepared. Besides, you don't know what could possibly harm you out there."

He took a glance at the dummies before turning back to Cassiel, "Okay, these things better help me defeat Sombra or I'm good as dead."

David walked towards the dummies and gesture his hand for a handshake, "If you want train me, at least give me a name so I could remember."

Two of them just stood there, not knowing what is a handshake, one of them spoke up, "We maybe intelligent but there are somethings that we don't know. Also, we do not have names."

David didn't say anything but sighed and pulled his hand back, he opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out, he was still shocked about the fact that something knows language and combat doesn't know handshakes.

He turned back to Cassiel and said, "Would you like me to name them or you do it?", Cassiel responded with a point of a finger, implying that he should do it.

"Okay then, you, with the tuxedo, I don't know why you would wear that to fight but I would like to call you Charles. And you, with the black t-shirt, I would like to call you Thomas. Does that sounds good to you two?", the dummies looked at each other for a second and turned back to David to give him a nod.

"Ace! Now then, about the training, what should we do first? I'm not good at combat so take it easy on me."

Charles chuckles while cracking his hands and said, "Sure, David. We'll do whatever you prefer."

Thomas and Charles quickly lunge at David with full speed, with full cautiousness, he dodges out the sudden attack. The dummies targeted David again but this time, each of them went separate ways, Thomas attacks first but misses David, giving him false hope for Charles to come up and land a blow, making David fell down on the floor, holding his face in pain.

"What was that for?", David said while still holding his face, he thinks his nose was bleeding.

"That, sir, is what we called 'Warm Up'. We were just testing your agility and strength, but it seems like you're not quite fast or strong enough.", Charles said.

"Testing?! Is that what you called testing? Because I guess testing means killing to you!"

Thomas chuckles, "You know about the fact that we can't kill you in this world, don't you? Also, we can't make you bleed here. The only thing we can do is hurt you."

"You can't make me bleed? Then what is this liquid streaming down my no-", he checked the liquid from his nose to see that it has no color, it was crystal clear like water.

"That is not your blood, it makes you feel like you are bleeding but you're not. Just add some kind of realistic experience in it, you don't want to paint this room with red, don't you?", Cassiel said.

"Absolutely not. Anyways, I would like to wake up now. ", David said while looking at Cassiel. Before she could speak up, Charles knocked him out cold.

"Charles! What was that for?", Cassidy shouted.

Charles looked at Cassiel with a confused look, "Isn't that how you wake him up?"

"It is one of the ways but let me do it next time with another way, he doesn't like getting knocked out."

"Okay, but it's still funny to see him knocked out, isn't that right, 'Thomas'?", Charles said and the other responded with a nod, they both laugh, leaving Cassiel shaking her head in disapproval.

Ponyville, Golden Oaks Library

David eyes went wide open and he quickly gasp for air, that knockout wasn't the thing he was expecting, it doesn't hurt him but he's still mad about the fact that it was a surprise punch.

"I'm so gonna give them a piece of me when I get back there.", David said and let out a sigh.

He checked the clock to see it was six o'clock in the morning, this is usually the time when he wakes up. He got out of the couch, he realized that he went to sleep with the suit so he has to go upstairs and get his clothes. David knew this isn't going to be easy.

David walked upstairs while tiptoeing, making as less sound as possible, he doesn't want to wake up the two sleeping in this place. David reached the door of his room, slowly and carefully opening it, he saw Rainbow was still sleeping in his bed.

He smiles and thought to himself, 'Better let her sleep for the rest of the day.'

David continues to tiptoe his way to the clothes box. While he was doing it, the floor creaked, sounds like he was about to kill himself because of that noise. He looked over to Rainbow to see that she was still sleeping, he grabbed his signature clothes as fast as he could and got out of the room without waking her up.

'That was close. Too close to be exact.', he thought to himself while changing his clothes.

Ponyville, The Spring Flower

David opened the door to see Cirrus and Knight sitting there, enjoying their food. Both of them noticed David walked into the store and Knight spoke up, "Hey there, David! How have you been?"

David grabbed a seat next to Cirrus and spoke up, "I'm pretty good, thanks for asking. How about you two? Have you two discovered out a new trick to crash into others yet?"

Cirrus chuckles and said, "You haven't gotten over that yet, haven't you?"

"Nope, that's gonna be a scar staying on my head for the rest of my life, not gonna let it go that easily.", David responded and the three share a laugh together.

"Anyways, I got a question for you, how did the date went?", Knight asked

David was confused at first but then he remembered the other night with Rainbow, he tries to defend it, "Date? What date? I don't remember dating anybody. Are you guys trying to mess with my mind?"

Cadastra joins in the conversation, "You know you can't fool us when there is proof, right?", she said and put a newspaper down the table, David inspect the front page to saw what surprises him, 'Human dating the Element of Loyalty!'

'I'm so gonna kill the reporter for this.', he thought to himself and said, "How long has this been a thing?"

"About an hour ago.", the three said in a unison.

"How could this be a thing? I mean, I just took her out for dinner and that's all!"

"Oh it is a big deal alright, I've heard from somepony that she's a pretty hard mare for anyone to make a move.", Cadastra said.

"So Twilight wasn't kidding at all.", he mumbles to himself.

"I'm sorry, what was that?", Cadastra asked.

"Nothing. Anyways, I probably should get going. I'll see you guys later.", he said and left in a flash, leaving the three looking at him with a confused look.

"Do you guys think he and Rainbow would be together someday?", Knight asked and the other answered with a nod.

Sweet Apple Acres

"Hey there, Applejack.", David said as he waved at the farm pony.

"Hiya there, David! Where's Dash? I thought she was with you.", she said trying to hold her laugh.

David let out a sigh before spoke up, "You know about the news too?"

"Darn tootin'! I gotta admit, ya got some guts just to ask her out, nopony has ever done that before!"

"Why is everyone keep saying that? Why don't people just talk to her and ask her out? She's a nice pony!", he said while still trying to defend himself.

"She's nice, Ah could say that but there's something strange about her when she's near you. Her normal personality wasn't there anymore! But Ah think that's just me."

"That's a strange thing to know. Anyways, I'm gonna be taking over Rainbow's work today."

"David, if ya work too much, you're gonna have the enough strength to work tomorrow, are you sure you wanted to do her work?", Applejack said with a worried tone.

"Hey, that's what friends do, right? Besides, I got all of the strength I need for tomorrow so I will still be fresh as a lettuce by tomorrow."

"You know what, David? I think this is why she treats you differently to the others. You are just too perfect!"

'Yeah, that maybe the reason.', David thought to himself and went to work.

After 12 long hours of lifting up crates, he feel tired but also stronger, let's see if he will qualify for the 'test'.
But his thoughts are interrupted by Twilight sitting there, with a note levitating in front of her.

She spoke up, "David, Rainbow left a note for you."

Twilight levitate the note to David and started to read it,
'Dear David, by the time you read this than I am probably home by now. I appreciate you carrying me home the other night and taking my work shift for the day. I promise to repay you someday. Sincerely, Rainbow Dash."

"Thanks for holding this for me Twilight, when did you get this anyway?", David asked while folding the note.

"I found it at the door of your room when I went to wake Rainbow up.", she answered.

"Okay, thanks again Twilight. Now, if you excuse me, I'm gonna go to bed.", he said as he walked to his room, opened the door to see that everything was back into places, he didn't knew who did this but he collapsed onto the bed before he could think of another word.

David still got a long way to go, now that he has started training, he hopes that it will help him... hopefully.
