The story of a Ghoul and a Unicorn
The Third Eye
Previous ChapterNext ChapterI went into a full sprint to where the noise was coming from. It was another alleyway. I had to run to the back before I found anything, and when I did, I wish I hadn't found anything. It was a wall, with Sno sitting in the corner, covered in bruises and blood, and 4 bodies of other ponies, ponies who I assumed were thugs. I went into a full rage towards Sno. Not even realizing that he was missing the bandages on his eye again. I asked him with a disturbed tone what he did to the group of thugs. He said they were not killed but only unconscious. I was a little bit thankful for that. I almost questioned how he did it with the little strength he had, when I had just realized the missing bandages. I decided to change the question.
"How are you talking so calmly with your bandages off?" I questioned him.
"It's because on the walks i've been taking, like this one, i've been going somewhere far away, and practicing controlling it." Sno responded.
"And not telling me?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"I figured you'd worry about it. Both you and I know that it's dangerous."
"That's true I guess."
"Anyways, are you injured? That must've been one tough fight."
"I'm fine. I need some new bandages though. They ripped the other ones up."
"Well, you're gonna need to hide your eye the whole way home then. I didn't bring the bandages this time.
"Hmph."
<< The story returns to Sno's perpective >>
During the whole three mile walk home, I had to keep my right eye shut. Tricky stuff. It wasn't until 11:30 PM that we got home. And Melp replaced my bandages, when I noticed something happening, he had two different eye colors, one was green, and the other was blue, and the blue eye he had, was.. "changing". The eye-whites were becoming black, and the iris was turning red. His "third eye". I screamed, and jumped away from him.
"What happened!?" He exclaimed.
"Go take a look in the mirror." I said after finally calming down.
"Okay...?" He said with a confused tone.
He walked into the bathroom of his house. I heard a long pause. Then, the most agonizing scream you could ever hear. He ran back into the room where I was, and asked me;
"What is happening to me?!"
He might as well have yelled it at the top of his lungs. Just then, we heard a knock at the door.
Both me and Melp just stared at the door, with our eyes still black and red. It was a female voice at the door.
"Helloooo?" Said the muffled mare's voice.
Deja vu, I froze again. I whispered to Melp, don't make any noise... not... one.... noise...
We stood, totally frozen for a period of what felt like hours. We heard hoofsteps trot away. We were able to release our deep breaths. We both made a huge sigh, and then Melp questioned me.
"Who was that?"
"It was... my sister." I replied.
"What?!" Melp exclaimed.
"You can probably guess why we didn't let her in. She's not evil or anything, but, we need to learn how to control this stuff."
"The Dragon Daggers. 2 of the most powerful magical weapons in all of the lands. The White and Black Dragons were two real beings. Who first created some unknown power within 2 sacred ponies. One was supposedly a unicorn. And the other was a pegasus. The power the two created was never known though. When the two dragons souls were then placed into two knives. The Dragon Daggers. The two dagger owners souls will start to form to one" Melp replied. "That's gotta be it."
"So, that must mean, the unknown power, is within our eyes. And, we are the two sacred ponies, unicorn, and pegasus."
"Definitley."
