The fading memory of a familiar face and a feeling of savage betrayal are the last things Twilight knew before waking to a world of talking rabbits, barking corkscrews, and flying black continents. Lost to herself and unable to remember little more than her name, she must hunt for clues to her identity in the dream-like world of Wonderland where the mad are royalty and sanity is a sickness. Those with answers are few and far between and fewer still are willing to part with them on bloodless terms.

From whispering oceans to spinning mountains to crumbling skies, Twilight will discover the hidden secrets of True Magic and knowledge of her past that could tear her mind apart.

From over the horizon, a vile corruption is closing in, heralded by icy winds, a screaming, mutgenic plague, and maddening hallucinations. The shadows creep ever farther into the light as they murmur one name.

Hello, readers! Join me on this improvised exploration of my imagination set within a Wonderland heavily influenced by the original Lewis Carroll book and American McGee's Alice. I expect this will end up being quite long, but we'll see. Since it will be made up as I go along, there may be plot holes and contradictions, but I'm a bit of a stickler for that kind of thing so, before you tell me about one (and I encourage my readers to do so) give it a chapter or two. Also, rather than ONLY giving it a thumbs up or down, please share your opinions about what you liked and honest criticism about what you don't. I want very much to get better.

I don't know what exactly this story will be, but things it will NOT be:
A gore-fest (There's plenty of that elsewhere)
An insertion story
A re-telling of another story, but with ponies
A masterpiece (I'm doing this to get better)

On another note, while this will get quite dark, there are some places I won't go—like sexual assault—but expect considerable amounts of gore, triggers for various odd or uncommon phobias (like an idea I have that might make odontophobics squirm), numerous deaths, senseless violence, etc...
