Lockpick is many things, one of them is a prisoner. She has been arrested for stealing many things, and has been sent to Prison, specifically Greenhoof Correctional Facility, but is she going to let this stop her? Nope, she's going to escape of course! With the help of some friends, more then a few forks, bubblegum and a file, Lockpick will find a way out of prison and to freedom!

"Welcome to Greenhoof Correctional!" The chipper green mare said with a smile to the inmates gathered in front of her. I was standing in the middle of the inmates, looking out at the head guard who smiled at us all. "You've been brought here because you've all been naughty naughty ponies~ And I am here to help you see the errors of your ways!"

I sighed, I had my plan so carefully laid out for me to escape... and I screwed up... because of somethign so devious...

I slipped on a Banana peel... sealing my fate.

The mare trotted from side to side. "No one has ever escaped from this prison since its founding, and I have no doubt that... perhaps some of you are thinking about escaping." She still smiled. "This place cannot be escaped, but I know in my heart you'll all be good little ponies!" She swung her head towards us. "Before you know it, you'll live out your sentence and you'll be free once more, so don't worry!" Several of the guards beside her smiled along with her, they almost looked real. "We hope you enjoy your stay~"

With that done, a bell rang out and the guards dispersed, along with several inmates. I just stood in the yard, my eyes scanning the area.

Hello, if you're reading this, then either you're in my head, watching from afar, or are some kind of ghost. Either way, my name is Lockpick, and I am a prisoner... there, really isn't any to sugarcoat this... I'm in jail because I did something bad and got caught because of it...

I am in jail... because I stole...

Toothpaste...

Yeah that... yeah...

Well, I'm also in here because, if you didn't guess it. My special talent is picking locks, basically I'm good at breaking into things. And so far, I haven't been caught... until last week that is, I was caught.

Banana peel...

Anyway, I was caught, and drug here to Greenhoof, where I was going to live out my incarceration in relative peace. The prison wasn't what I expected, the yard was covered in green grass, there were lounging chairs, and the entire prison was accessible to the entire inmate population, which numbered twenty or so. All of the prisoners were different, with a pretty even stallion/mare ratio. Most of the guards walked through the corridors and around the yard outside, some of them giving me a nod and a warm smile when they saw me.

I just sighed, right now was free period, so...
