A Glimmer from the Past

The next day Starlight saw Jet Set and Upper Crust bulling an earth pony filly.
"So you don't know what your cutie mark means?", Upper Crust said, " How pathetic!" Now they bully a pony with a cutie mark?, Starlight thought, This ends now!

"Hey!", Starlight shouted.

"What do you want?", Upper Crust asked.

"Leave her alone!"
"Why should I listen to you, blank flank?" Upper Crust replied,"Get lost!"
"No I won't! I have enough of you two! First you bully me and now you are bulling a pony who already has a cutie mark? You are the worst!", Starlight shouted.

"I am so scared!", Upper Crust replied sarcasticly.

"You...!",Starlight shouted.

"Seriously! What do you want to do, blank flank?", Jet Set meant.

"Leave her alone for the last time or I teach you a lesson!"
"What kind of lesson do YOU want to teach US?" He laughed. Starlight's horn began to glow.
"That kind of lesson!" Starlight felt the magic inside her and unleashed it. Suddenly Jet Set and Upper Crust looked a little bit different like they lost their magic and lost their cutie marks.

"What did you do?", they wondered.

"I stole your magic now you have to live as blank flanks", Starlight answered.

"You monster!"

"Am I ? This is all your fault. " Starlight explained.

" You won't get away with this!",they said and went away.

"Thank you for saving me! Look you got your cutie mark", the earth pony said.
"What?" Starlight looked at her flank. It was really there. A purple star. It looked like the star is flying away. Could it mean that her special talent is taking away magic? Starlight was not sure. It was a temporary spell. After a week they will be back to normal.

"Hello?" The earth pony's voice brought her back.

"Yes?"

"I said thank you!"

"No problem." Starlight replied.

"I have to go now! Thanks and goodbye"

"Bye Bye!"

Years passed by. Starlight was now a full grown mare. She went to the library. Maybe I am able to find a book about taking away cutie marks, because it looks like that just life without cutie marks can create harmony. It is not enough to take them temporary away. When I was a filly I just made bad experiences with cutie marks. Only life without cutie marks can be a peaceful life. She looked for a book about
cutie marks. After an hour she was able to find something. She opened the book and saw a stick at one page. Below the stick she read: It is able to remove cutie marks but just unicorns with strong magic can use it. It takes away cutie marks, but because cutie marks are part of a pony, they can only be separated from a pony when they are inside a glass. Otherwise they return to their rightful owner. Nopony knows where the stick is. But it says that it is somewhere in the mountains.
Interesting, Starlight thought, I should look for it. She took the book and began the search.
