Say it again until your voice stops working
And until you have to leave me.
The climb to Canterlot High's roof was long, but it was worth it for two students, by the names of Rumble and Scootaloo. The two sat in silence, staring into each other's eyes. Slowly, they held hands. The girl sighed, a worried frown etched onto her face.
"I'll miss you once the sunset's over," Scootaloo whispered. Rumble pulled her into a hug.
"I'll miss you too, but you'll see me again, right?" Rumble said, hope in his voice.
"I guess. But, my friends think I'm crazy. They say you've been taking me from them." Scootaloo replied.
"Hey, where's the Scootaloo I fell in love with? The 'Worry about the future later' and 'I don't care if I die today it's good day to anyway' girl who never worried about problems as much as you do now?" Rumble said, in hope of cheering her up.
"You're right. Stop worrying about the future. Worry about how soft I'm becoming." Scootaloo said.
"Good. How about you and your friends?" Rumble asked. Scootaloo groaned.
"They've been getting worse each day!" Scootaloo said. She started mimicking Apple Bloom's voice. "Whut? It sounds lahke somebody decides to spend time wit 'er boyfriend instead of 'er best friends! Go ahead! Spend time wit Rumble! It ain't lahke ya can't see 'im tomorrow!" Scootaloo started speaking like Rainbow Dash.
"Blowing off your friends isn't cool. I mean, where would I be if I decided that friends are for losers? Absolutely nowhere! You may be happy that you have a boyfriend, but your friends come first. I mean, it's your life. Do what ya wanna." She switched to Twilight.
"As the Princess of Friendship, I wouldn't advise breaking away from your friends. If the Elements of Harmony never met, you'd be dead! A thousand times over! Please, friends aren't meant to be taken for granted. Patch things up." Scootaloo sighed in her regular voice.
"Pinkie flat out ignores me! AJ and Rarity used to talk harshly to me, but they understood why I was doing what I was doing. Don't get me started on Sweetie Belle!" Scootaloo started talking like SB.
"You never spend time with us anymore! I wish Rumble never existed! Then you wouldn't be such a flaky friend! Admit it! Rumble's replacing us! I guess we're just too boring for you?! Are we?! You never sit with us anymore! You sit with those guys like you're one of them! Maybe you are! Scratch that! You are!" Scootaloo returned to her own voice.
"I punched her in the nose. I broke her nose, Rumble! To make matters worse, Apple Bloom banned me from Sweet Apple Acres! She's been getting hostile. I'm worried. She's been getting in fights with SB more often. If I could tell them I would. I really would!" Scootaloo began crying. Rumble hugged her tighter.
"My brother got their older sisters to learn what's going on. But....... Rarity and Applejack can't tell them until tomorrow. I don't know if I'll be here tomorrow." Rumble said sadly.
"Yeah. Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle don't get why their sisters discipline them for talking behind my back. I mean, THEIR TALKING BEHIND MY BACK! Scootaloo yelled.
The two sat in silence. The sun began to slowly lower.
"Tell me that you love me, say it to me until your voice stops working. Tell me you love me until you have to leave me. Tell me you love me until the truth is revealed. Tell me you love me until the world stops spinning. Tell me you love me until You die!" Scootaloo said suddenly. Rumble looked at her in bewilderment.
"I love you."
"I love you."
"I love you." The sun began lowering quicker.
"I love you."
"I love you."
"I love you."
"I love you." The sky was pitch black.
"I LOVE YOU, SCOOTALOO!" Rumble screamed at the top of his lungs as his voice seemed to be farther away until Scootaloo could hear a sentence that meaner more than anything to her.
"I love you.". Scootaloo smiled as she made her way down Canterlot High.
"Tomorrow will be okay," Scootaloo said under breath as she began the run home.
A pair of amethyst eyes blinked once before promptly vanishing.
