Clubs: Queen Bees
Hera: The eldest of the five Hera sisters, (Hera, Sera-Is, Hera-Ur, Sowilo, and Beorc), Hera is in her senior year and has a GPA of 3.2, which she never shuts up about. And though one of her 'underlings' Persephone has a GPA of 4.0, she keeps quiet about it because she knows Hera will be gone after this year. Hera's mildly insufferable to everybody else, a major annoyance to her own family, and as far as most of the teachers are concerned she's a spiteful curse.
Echidna: The outgoing snake woman has a lot on her plate, but never lets it get her down. She drinks quite a bit but refuses to smoke, always stating that 'her kind are even more prone to lung cancer than anyone else'. She's Hera's left hand and, though it pains her sometimes, skips Blade Brave get-togethers to hang out with her - or do Hera's dirty work for getting back at somebody.
Lilith: Though she's the oldest in the 'Queen Bees' club, Lilith is too lazy to coordinate anything and spends most of their 'meetings' snacking or napping.  Her owl Jakiro is her eyes and ears for the most part, and she sometimes uses him to spy on some of the people she doesn't like, especially Hera. When she's awake she's a rather pleasant person, and encounters Rinoa a couple times throughout the story.

Persephone: She's the third-oldest in the club, and her and her long-time boyfriend Hades (been together since Freshman year, actually) are planning on getting married after they graduate. She's easily the smartest in the group, and is shy and studious. The library is her home away from the dorm, and she skips out on whatever she can to go there.

Main Characters
Rinoa: The main character of the story. Transferred from her previous school - described only as 'normal' - to PAD High because of an incident where she received an electrical shock and grew wings and was able to throw bolts of what seemed to be sunlight, starlight, and electricity. Dorms with Karin.
Karin: The first person Rinoa meets at the school (student-wise). Also coincidentally her roomie. Remains one of her closest friends throughout the story while she tries to find a second club.
Sakuya: The first other student she's introduced to (by way of Karin). Sakuya is one of Rinoa's guides in the Magic club, and works with light magic. Is constantly disapproving of Thor's advances on the very confused magistrix during their lightning lessons, which Nut laughs at while teaching her with starlight.
Haku: It's through Karin that Rinoa meets Haku, and through Haku that RInoa meets Claire and is invited to be part of the Valkyrie club. EVentually though she manages to - with a bit of help - get it through to Claire that she's not a fighter. Haku is the fierce yet quiet presence in the group.
Leilan : Though Leilan could've joined the Valkyrie club in her Freshman year, she waited too long and broke one of her wings in a terrible accident that mysteriously had absolutely nothing to do with her former boyfriend, Kopis. She broke up with him shortly after and let her fiery temper go to her head, pushing her away from almost everybody but pushing her grades up a bit. In her Sophomore year, Claire gave her another chance to be a Valkyrie, which she took. To Rinoa she's a guiding hand, like an older sister.
Meimei: Meimei and her pet serpent Eve are Rinoa's guides around the gardens, paths, dorms, and halls of PAD High. Many of which are long, winding, and confusing as hell. And even though Rinoa has wings, she's incredibly reluctant to fly lest she run into Uriel again....bad memories and cheesy pickup lines ahoy. Meimei also might've been responsible for the anonymous threat aimed at Uriel's favorite sword, detailing how he'd find it melted down after school. Meimei dorms with Persephone, one of 'Queen' Hera's cronies.
