Equestria's Enormous Impact

It was a normal day in Ponyville. With the wind blowing softly, the sun shining, and the citizens of Ponyville enjoying the peaceful afternoon. Well... almost everypony. The Mane 6 are currently packing up at the Golden Oak Library to have a picnic out at the lake, but there's a certain mare that seems to be doing some one minute studying.

"Come on, Twilight!" Rainbow Dash yells from across the room. "What's taking you so long!"

"Rainbow, I'm just making some last check ups on how to have a picnic." Twilight says as she joins in with the group.

"Twilight darling, it's only a simple outing to put away our stress from the Diamond Dog incident." Rarity said with a shudder. "I even consider taking a break from making my clients outfits. I am ahead of schedule after all."

"Alright, but I'm stilling bringing the book just incase." Twilight says as she puts the said book in her saddlebag.

"Twilight, you're really an Egghead." Rainbow added.

Twilight groans. "Come on, let's get going. Spike are you ready?"

The purple little dragon came into view. "Yeah, I'm ready to go."

"Then let's get this party on the road!" Pinkie Pie cheers.

With that, the group heads out the door and started to make their way to lake. As they trot, they suddenly felt shaking for only a moment until it subsided. The rest of Ponyville seem to noticed it too, only to get back to their everyday business. This confused the girls and dragon, this is something out a place no less.

"What in tarnation was that?" Applejack asks as she gets her footing... or hoofing. "Was that an earth-quick?"

"Or another sleeping dragon?!" Fluttershy yells slighty above whisper volume.

"I don't think so. There hasn't been any records of an earth-quick ever hitting Ponyville." Twilight explains. "Nor, is there another dragon. I don't see any smoke spreading through the sky either."

"Never-the-less, darling, we shouldn't let it ruin our day out. Maybe a tree fell in the Everfree Forest." Rarity inquired.

"Maybe your right."

"Well, come then everypony. Let's go have some fun with our picnic party." The party pony declares.

Soon, they continued their way until they made it their spot. Everypony was unpacking, while Spike was trying to sneak a gem from the picnic basket. That is, until he got busted by the purple park ranger.

"Spike!" Twilight scold. "Wait for all of us to set up the plates."

"Sorry Twilight..." Spike then looked confused. "Uh... what's with the uniform and the hat?"

Twilight looks at herself. "What the? Where did this come from?"

"Ooh, ooh! It's my park ranger uniform costume!" Pinkie Pie said.

"Ok... why am I wearing it?"

"Silly Twilight, the readers just want to have a good laugh once in a while!"

"What readers?" Twilight says as she takes off the costume and gives it back to Pinkie Pie.

"I'm talking about the readers that are reading this story right now! Hi everypony!" Pinkie Pie waves off to space.

Everypony looked at Pinkie with strangeness in their eyes, only to look back at each other and nobbing. All agreeing that 'Pinkie Just Being Pinkie'. Anyway, the gang finally gotten everything set up and were now enjoying themselves. Fluttershy was playing with some chipmunks; Rainbow Dash is taking a nap on a cloud she pulled down; Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and Spike were playing hide and seek; and Twilight and Rarity were having a conversation. Everypony was having a good time.

Suddenly, the ground started to shake yet again and everypony (Minus Rainbow Dash being off the ground.) felt it. Fluttershy's little animal friends scurried away to safety, leaving a scared pony.

"Okay, now that has to be gosh darn earth-quick!" Applejack shouts.

"I think you're right AJ." Twilight says as she picks herself up. "Maybe we should alert Mayor Mare about this."

Just then, a red-headed wood-pecker and a couple of humming birds came rushing towards Fluttershy. They then started to tweet something that the others couldn't understand. After a bit, Fluttershy gasps at what she heard.

"Girls, there is something in the Everfree Forest that is causing all the shaking!" Fluttershy announced.

"What? What is it?" Rainbow Dash asks as she finally woke up.

"I don't know, but it's causing a lot of damage to the poor woodland creature's homes."

"Well, what are we waiting everypony? Let's get moving and check it out!" Pinkie Pie said.

"Alright, but we need to be careful." Twilight said. "We don't know what we are dealing with."

With that, Mane 6 and dragon set out to the Everfree Forest in search of the mystery suspect. In no time at all, the birds lead Fluttershy and the others to the used-to-be homes that are now in wreck. This saddened Fluttershy.

"What do you think caused all of this damage Twi?" Applejack asks.

"I'm not sure, there could be some theories. It couldn't be a dragon, there are no scorch marks anywhere. It also couldn't be a hyrda either, they usually hang out at the swamp." Twilight goes on. "But, it could be a mega Timberwolf attack, but what could have possibly- Ahh"

Twilight loses balance and fell into a hole. This got Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash to laugh a bit. A bit annoyed, Twilight picks herself up, only to have horror on her face. She didn't fell in a hole, she fell in a foot print. It was big as her and it was round.

"Whoa, what kind of creature made that Twilight?" Spike asks.

Twilight looks over the track on saw something that made her a bit sick. There was blood and lots of leftover Timberwolf corpse.

"What could it be darling?" Rarity asks.

"I think I might know, but it can't be. It wouldn't make sense."

"Come on Twilight, out with it!" Rainbow yells.

"The structure of the track only shows that it could be a pony's"

Everypony started at Twilight for a moment.

"Um, Twilight, I don't think it could a pony's. It's far to big too fit." Rarity said.

"That's the only theory I can come up with. What ever it is, it fought against a Mega Timberwolf and won. It might of gotten hurt thought due to the amount of blood in it's tracks."

While the others were discussing about the mystery creature, Fluttershy went ahead scout out the scene. What ever fought the Mega Timberwolf did put up a fight. That's another thing that saddens her. She doesn't like animals fighting each other. There's never a reason to.

Fluttershy went further in as she pushes some bushes out of the way. What she finds made her even paler than a ghost.

"Girl! I think I found something!" Fluttershy shouts out for the others.

The gang heard and headed for their butterscotch coated friend. Soon they had the same reaction as her. What they found is nothing they ever expected. There, lying in some sort of nest, was a gigantic earth pony stallion with white mane and tail and has a faded black muzzle. It seems to be wearing iron cuffs around it's front hooves. It also seems to have taken damage from a fight. The Mega Timberwolf no doubt. What they weren't prepare for was when it was starting waking up from it's slumber.
