Twilight tapped her hoof on top of Mark's dresser. She had an important question for Mark, but she couldn't ask because he was in his bathroom, and she knew from experience never to go in there. Applejack sat next to her, while Rainbow flew in the other room, Rarity and Pinkie were on Mark's bed, playing Tic-Tac-Toe, and Fluttershy was tending to Mark's border collie.
He finally got out, wearing fancy clothes for once. He looked at Twilight and asked, "What do you think?"
"You look nice! What's the occasion?" She asked with curiosity.
"Well, I'm glad you asked, because I'm going to need you guys to stay out of sight, because I'm having someone over."
"Is it like a date?" Rainbow inquired, giggling at the concept of Mark getting a date.
"Why yes, it is. I have courted the lovely Fiona Favor, and she is coming over to watch a movie with me, so please just stay away from her."
"'Fiona Favor'..." Rainbow Dash snorted ,"What other women do you have? Lisa Lamp? Miss Maxine Matthews? Andy Alliteration?"
"How surprisingly eloquent of you," Mark said, fixing his collar. "But seriously, you guys need to hide out."
"Will do!" Twilight said, saluting Mark. The others agreed as well.
AN HOUR LATER
The door knocked. "She's here! Hide!" Mark told the ponies. Twilight lead the others under Mark's drawer, and the Mane Six waited. And waited. And waited. And Rainbow Dash was booooooored.
"Dear Celestia! When will they be done already?!" Dash said impatiently.
"Dates take time. They're like lessons. Except for personality and background of someone you want to know." Twilight insisted.
"That doesn't make me any less bored."
"Come on, Rainbow. Just get in touch with that there romantic side of yer's." Applejack suggested.
"Which side is her Romantic Side?" Pinkie questioned.
"Clearly the front where her heart is," Rarity said, pointing at Rainbow's hair.
"Excuse me while I puke." she said, feigning gagging.
"Say, where's Fluttershy?" Pinkie asked.
*gasp* "She must be out there still!" Twilight said nervously.
"Don't worry, I'll find her lickity split!" Rainbow said gearing up.
"NO, RAINBOW!" Twilight and AJ hld down her wings. "You may go fast but you aren't subtle. I'll go." Twilight offered.
"Fine, don't get killed, Princess." rainbow said, brushing it off.
Twilight sneakily flew out the door, and near the floor through the house. Mark and Fiona were nowhere to be seen. She flew silently on the couch, and finally saw Fluttershy sitting on the arm of the chair. She was cuddling a termite.
"Fluttershy!" She whispered.
No response.
"Fluttershy!"
No response still.
"FLUTTERSHY!"
Flutters flew away this time. but it wasn't because of her. Twilight flew slightly up only to be knocked down by a large dark object that cast a dark shadow...
Mark and Fiona were having a mediocre time. It was the "Getting to Know You" Phase. Fiona, despite the splendid name was a large goth. A plus sized girl who wore all black and dark purple lipstick, with a small metal spear jabbed through her bottom lip with a sphere attached to it. She had light pink hair and dark mascara. Mark suggested to watch The Blair Witch Project 2, Fiona's favorite movie, and they did just that. Mark and Fiona sat down and Mark started to turn it on. However, something was off. Fiona kept adjusting her seat. Adjusting and adjusting until she finally spoke out. "This couch is pretty lumpy isn't it?" Lumpy? what was that supposed to mean? Was her side lumpy? Was she trying to leave? Was it a metaphorical insult? Was she sitting on Twilight? Mark had no idea.
He suggested, "Hey, could you get me that water?" He pointed a water that was a few feet away from the couch.
"Uh, sure...." she got up and walked over. Sure enough, lo and behold Princess Twilight Sparkle, laid out having just been sat on.
