Youtube Video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSF2mvtjDYU) July 10th,2198 Yamato sailed serenely around Planet Earth,under the personal command of Captain Benjamin Parks, a seasoned starship commander with at least 120,000 hours serving on board starships. For him,Yamato was no different,especially since he'd commanded the Yukikaze before relinquishing command to an old friend of his, Captain Mamoru Kodai,who was subsequently killed when he used the ship as a sacrificial shield so the then commander of the EDF Jyuzo Okita,could escape.    Today was going to be a milestone for the famous ship. Ever since the war against the Gamilas five years ago,the Yamato's sister ship,the Musashi    had undergone the same process and was renamed Yamato,as the original Yamato had been lost,when it fired it's Wave-Motion Gun to defeat the commander of the Gamilas in a kamikaze run.  This would be an honorary flight to not only honour the deceased,but mark a new age of space  exploration missions for the EDF.   "Kyaputen wa, subete no shisutemu ga midoriirodesu. Anata no chūshoku no tame no ikutsu ka no miso ga sukidesu ka?" said the AI, who was keeping Yamato in orbit. "Sure! Go ahead and hand over control to me now" Parks replied. He was trained to translate Japanese into  British English by now.    "Watashi wa tonikaku eigo o hanashite iru baai rojā sono sensei wa, soreha mata, anata ni rieki o motarasudeshou ka?"  the AI replied. " For Pete's sake,Suzuki,speak English!" The captain retorted, slightly annoyed by now. "OK sensei" " Take us out.Hoshi no sū-shu no tame no!" Parks said. Promptly causing the Yamato to hand control over to him and away she sped on the voyage of a lifetime. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Equuis, July 10th 2015-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A lone shooting star sped through the night-time sky,as an all black alicorn,known to all as Nightmare Moon, sat on her balcony lamenting about her actions before she was accepted by Celestia and Luna as their sibling. " A shooting star, I wish for a second chance and fresh start for anyone who receives this." she said,before casting her dream spell on the world below. //-------------------------------------------------------// Yamato's no go! //-------------------------------------------------------// Yamato's no go! Primary Bridge of Yamato,July 11th 2198.   Captain Parks was so far fruitless in his search of new species. He did,however,encounter a Gamilan family wanting to set up a home on Earth via a colony ship, but after what their species did to his, he fired the main turrets at said colony ship without a second thought,reducing it to a burnt out  wreck floating in space. "Well, that was annoying!" he muttered to himself. "But too easy! I want something powerful to destroy." "Mā ka ni tsuite, watashitachiha-gai ni soru to, ewwatashitachi no kōkai o tsudzukemasu ka?" a familiar voice replied, causing Parks to jump out of  his skin. "Oh right. But goddammit Suzuki! Don't do that! " Benjamin replied.   "Gomen'nasai" Suzuki replied. With that, Yamato sped away in a flashing swirl of blue,but unexpectedly to them, the portal collapsed mid warp, forcing her into a spin whilst klaxons blared throughout the ship. A navy blue alicorn wheezed,bursting through the throne room doors of Canterlot Castle,spooking the other two alicorns in the room.     "A star is falling towards our planet and it doesn't respond to any spells I cast on it!" " What course is the object on,Luna?" Celestia asked with worry,Nightmare was trying to make herself invisible at this point. "PONYVILLE!" Luna shrieked. "WHAT?!" Celestia and Nightmare shouted simultaneously,both overcome with fright. "Send word to the Elements of Harmony! They may be able to stop it!" In The Golden Oaks Library,a lavender mare and her assistant were passing the time doing what they enjoyed most, reading books and doing chores. Suddenly a loud boom shook the entire tree. Being curious and after receiving a letter that read: " Dear Twilight, I am writing to you of extreme urgency. I need you to gather the Elements of Harmony then go outside! You'll see what you need them for! From Princess Celestia PS. Luna and Nightmare will join you". She went to collect her friends by saying that something had come up and were all shocked at what they saw half embedded in the ground,just short of Ponyville. " Uh, Twi, what is that giant boat sitting there?" Applejack said, a hint of fear in her voice. The remaining 6 were too shocked to speak. "Ya-ma-to?" Twilight said. ________Unknown Location. Date unknown_____ "Ugh. My head" Benjamin groaned. " Do you need it looked at ,sir?" Suzuki asked. "Yeah...OHMYGOD!!!" Parks retorted "You speak English now,Suzuki?!"    "Er, Yes sir,I did." Suzuki said,"I also believe that our mission has succeeded as I count eight equine shaped lifeforms from that TV show you watched on our other missions. My Little Pony I belie-" he continued but got cut off as Parks opened the doors to the ship near where the equines were stood. _____________ Outside Yamato, the eight friends stepped back as a door opened in front of them. "Oh,that's convenient" Rarity spoke up. "I'll go in first,girls." They then trotted in,but didn't even get ten hooves into the ship when a voice spoke. //-------------------------------------------------------// Whoa Yamato! //-------------------------------------------------------// Whoa Yamato! "Greetings and welcome on board Space Battleship Yamato!" To say that the girls were terrified was an understatement. They were petrified, running around screaming, ricocheting off walls and even the ceiling!   "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! GHOST!!!!" they constantly screamed, shaking the ship. This was noted by by a sole human, who grabbed a MK-12 pistol from a locker nearby.   "Suzuki? Look after the bridge will you mate?" Parks asked the AI.     "Yes Sir!" came the reply. With that and a swoosh of the bridge doors closing, Suzuki had free range of what he wanted to do, namely watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Meanwhile, Parks marched through Yamato's bowels,hoping to find the source of the noise. Unfortunately, the purple unicorn spotted him and walked over to him out of curiosity. "Excuse me?" it said in an adorably squeaky tone (Nerves, CURSE YOU!!) that;when he heard it, Parks stopped dead and looked down at said pony. VIEW CHANGE    Twilight was nervous, and who could blame her. Standing in front of and TOWERING over her was an enormous bipedal being she'd never seen before.      "Excuse me?" she squeaked out. "Where are we?"  Then the being spoke,to everyponys' surprise.    "I should be asking you the same question,but you are on board the Space Battleship Yamato. Originally called the IJN Musashi,she was the sister ship of the  IJN Yamato,which was reformed into a space-faring craft and was lost after a final battle with Gamilan forces." After  looks that said " What in the name of Faust?!?", the being then activated a queer looking machine,causing a picture to appear in midair:https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/0c/Japanese_battleship_Musashi_cropped.jpg/300px-Japanese_battleship_Musashi_cropped.jpg " This is the same ship you are on now,but photographed departing Brunei in 1944" This caused a squee noise to come from the little purple pony - thing.. (Don't even ASK about the noise as i have absolutely no clue what it means).    "As for me, I am a Human Being and this is my own personal multi-role starship." Parks said, only to be interrupted by a familiar rainbow maned pegasus. " How fast can this go? Doubt it'll be faster than me!" the mare bragged. "Oh, i can tell you it IS, Rainbow Dash!" The black alicorn, Nightmare Moon, approached Parks   and asked, "Can this really fly?"   "Allow me to demonstrate ma'am!" Parks replied, "But in order to do so, you MUST stand WAY back,due to falling debris and major earthquakes!" Not one bit.
