The adventures of Nathan and Mavis

It was a normal day at the Crystal Empire were Nathan was playing his Nintendo DS while Mavis watched.

"Well, Mavis. What should we do today, y'all?" said Nathan.

"I don't know. Mommy is busy doing princess related stuff while everyone elses is at work, doing their jobs." said Mavis.

"Well, we can't stand around all day, ya know. We have to do something." said Nathan.

"I have a suggested idea." said a voice.

Both Nathan and Mavis turned and saw 'Joshua' which they have no idea he was actually George Cunningham, walking towards them.

"Oh, hey Josh." said Mavis.

"What your y'all doing here? A'int y'all supposed to be back at Ponyville?" said Nathan.

"Look, it doesn't matter why I'm here. It matters about you two." 'Joshua' said.

"Us? What about us?" said Mavis.

"Both of you don't do anything other than sit around and play video games while you both should be out there doing something exciting. Seriously, you two need to get a life and also another thing: TAKE MY ADVICE!!!" shouted 'Joshua' who then stormed off angrily.

Both Nathan and Mavis stood there shocked about what their 'friend' had just said about them as Mavis said "He's right, Nathan. We need to get a life or we'll never going to be as good as him."

Nathan looked at Mavis and asked "Well, what do y'all suggest we do?"

"Why not go out there in the opening world of Equestria?" Mavis suggested.

"Works for me, Mavis." Nathan shrugged.

"Wait, before we do that I need to change clothes. I can't go out there wearing a dress." said Mavis.

"Alright, but hurry up and change into something so we can go out there." said Nathan.

"Alright. I'll be right back." said Mavis as she ran back to her room to change out of her dress. Few seconds later, she came out wearing a blue T-shirt, black boots, and a purple skirt that Rarity had made for her during her days living in Equestria. She then found Nathan and walked over to him and said "Alright, I'm all done changing. So, now what?"

"Well, why don't we head down to that store in town there?" said Nathan.

"Works for me." said Mavis as they both left the Crystal Empire. Unknown to them, there was a figure that was watching them. The figure was revealed to be George Cunningham who had disguising himself to look just like Joshua as he looked at the kids going off into the store. He smiled evilly.

"That's right, you two. Go off out there soon, very soon. I will not only have the jewels but also a crystal palace to live in after I put phase two of my plan into action." said George Cunningham as he laughed evilly.

In the town of the Crystal Empire...

As Nathan and Mavis walked down the area, Mavis couldn't help but wonder what had happened to their 'friend'.

"Y'all alright?" Nathan asked her.

"Yeah, I just don't understand why Josh would tell us off like that. It's not like him to do that." said Mavis.

"Now that y'all mentioned it, he was acting a bit strange." said Nathan as they got close to a nearby store

"Well, there's the store." said Mavis as they got in.
