Two New Protectors

       Cold winter day, 35 degrees outside.It's the evening of December 29th. Gallent Rage was thinking as she wandered up to the door of the adoption center. She walked in and immediately everyone in the facility bowed down to her, for she was the head commander of the guard. Both controlling the Unicorn Squad and the Pegasi Squad. She was an alicorn. Technically she is also know as the Princess of Fighting.

"Everypony calm down, treat me like a regular customer." Gallent Rage said in a smooth tone.

"Yes ma'am" A pony dressed in green cloak said nervously.

       Gallent walks up to the foal twins. None of the foals had names, for this adoption center made you name them yourselves. Suddenly a voice whispered in her head .

"Choose the green and brown one with the light blue and blue one" The voice said.

    Gallent spots them out. A green unicorn and a light blue Pegasus. She picks them up and brings them to the naming center.

"Hello...Commander Rage? What are YOU doing here?" The clerk sounding curious.

"I'm here to take home these two if you don't mind" Gallent Rage sounded a bit irritated

"Alright what do you want to name these foals?"

     The voice once again spoke in her head.

"Name the mare Celestial Arrow and the colt Star Sword" The voice said.

"I'll name the mare Celestial Arrow and the colt Star Sword" Gallent listening to the voice.

"Alright Commander Rage here is your adoption document!" The clerk giving Gallent a tannish orange sheet of paper.

" The Canterlot Adoption Center now hereby that Commander Gallent Rage have adopted and named two foals called Celestial Arrow and Star Sword"

   Gallent Rage walks out levitating her two foals with her horn and goes to her home in the Canterlot Palace, the Guard Training Center. She walks in and turns on the light to see where she's going and heads to her extra rooms upstairs.

    She sets Celestial in the purple crib in her room on the left side of gallent's room and Star in the blue bed on the right side. Gallent walks to her own room, a extravgant velvety red bed as a masterpiece an 60 inch TV in front and a  massive bathroom with 2 showers a silver toilet and 3 sinks. She lies down exhausted from the day she had. Gallent Rage works from 4 in the morning to 9 at night, she took a hour going to the adoption center and to go home took another hour and now it's almost midnight. Everything was quiet and settled down when.

"WHAAAA!!!" Both of the twin foals crying in their crib.

"Oh give me a break, but I adopted them and I chose to take care of them so this will just have to do." Gallent Rage said with a determined voice.

She levitates then onto her bed and to check what wrong, it was stinky diapers. It smelled putrid, malodorous but Gallent and the foals survived that war of stink. She teleported herself and the two foals to the kitchen where she prepared two bottles of foal formula. She teleported back to her room and set the foals next to her and all there went to sleep together on that same velvety bed.

***THREE YEARS LATER**

   Here we return to Gallent Rage's home to herself and the two fillies that live with her, Celestial Arrow and Star Sword. The two little ones are enrolled in a local preschool not far from the palace. They get home in the after noon to find that their mother was waiting but on this special day the two fillies wanted to ask a important question.

"Uh, mom? We wanted to ask you something" The two said with mixed emotions.

"Sure kids, what's up?" Gallent Rage saying slowly looking down.

"C-c-can w-we p-practice with swords and bows?!" The two looking nervous and excited.

     After the years without hearing from the voice in her head Gallent Rage heard it one last time.

"Let them do it, teach it to them and it will bring many opportunities, this is the last time you'll hear from me. Goodbye."

"Fine, you two follow me."The mother said.

"Hooray! We learn how to fight!" Star jumped up and down. "I want to learn how to use a sword!"

"And I want to learn how to shoot an arrow!" Celestial flying around in circles.

  Gallent Rage gave a smirk and smiled, she leads the two to the training grounds. She lets the fillies explore for a minute or two and then called them over in a huddle.

"Ok, which one of you two want to learn first?" Gallent Rage said while getting out equipment.

"ME!" Both of the fillies saying at the same time.

"Do hoof, tail, mane to decide, alright?" The mother asked.

Celestial won the match, she followed her mother to the archer arena.

"This is a bow and arrow, put the arrow on the notch" She showing Celestial how to put it on "Pull the string back, breath in an out  and-"

Whoosh! The arrow hits an bullseye.

"Now I want you to keep on practicing to shoot, don't aim up or down, go for the bullseye, that means don't hit me or your brother, alright?"

"Alright Mommy!"

  Gallent Rage goes over to Star where the training dummies are, she pulls out two wooden swords, one for Star and one for herself.

"Ok Star, first I want to see your swing." Gallent saying while giving the filly the sword.

Star trying to control the sword since he is still little, the colt hit the dummies leg.

"Uhh, sorry?" The confused filly said.

"It's okay Star, keep trying." Gallent said, "You'll get it."

10 YEARS LATER

(The two fillies are grown up to be teenagers)

  We are back after a decade since the two fillies we knew are now turning into mares and colts. The two have signed up to be in The Royal Guard where they are of age. The two have also earned there cutie marks from the skills in swords and bows. Celestial with an arrow with gleaming colors flying with it, Star on the other hand had a sword with at the handle it was a giant star. They have been training for years and years, do good in school and train everyday. One fateful night their mother asked them to come downstairs for a "family meeting".

"Ok you two let me see those grades." Gallent Rage said.

  They handed them over both all A's in everything.

" Good job on grades, but this meeting is other than that." Gallent explaining, " I needed to tell you two this a while ago, but you two are adopted."

"We're WHAT!" The two shouted.

"Yes." The mare pulling out the document, " See? I adopted you two and you've grown up with me since."

"B-but how can this be? We thought you were our t-t-true mom!" The two start filling up with tears.

"You two please calm down, I have a surprise for you"  The mom trying to comfort her children.

"W-what is it?"

"Two Guard entries!"

"WAIT WHAT?!"

"Yup! You two are joining the Guard alongside me!"

"Oh my Celestia!" The two screamed, "THANKS MOM!"

(The two grew up joining the Guard, right alongside their mother, became commanders of the Guard themselves, and come train with mother. Of course)
