Fluttershy's New Adventure
The Butterfly Show
Previous ChapterFluttershy was flying behind the butterfly. She had just picked up Angel on the way. They flew on until they got to a plain full of beautiful flowers. The butterfly flew over the flowers. The dust that came from her wings made the flowers sparkle.
“They look beautiful,” Fluttershy said. Angel just sat there looking angry. Fluttershy laid in the flowers and closed her eyes. She felt the wind blow through her coat and mane. Something felt “different” about the wind, almost magical.
“Do you like the flowers?” the butterfly asked. Fluttershy nodded. “Well, I got something to show you,” the butterfly said. The butterfly flew straight up to the sun. It’s wings spread out, but they looked bigger. Fluttershy lifted her head and saw a beautiful set of butterflies fly in the air.
“This is amazing,” she cheered. She couldn’t keep her eyes out of the magnificent show. Fluttershy decided to fly with the butterflies. She lifted her wings and took off. The butterfly smiled at the sight of the pegasus. “Oh this is so fun,” Fluttershy said cheerfully.
The show stopped when the sun lowered in the sky. “Did you like it Fluttershy?” the butterfly asked. Fluttershy just gave a smile. She did quit enjoy the butterfly show. Fluttershy yawned and laid her head down on the grass.
“Goodnight butterfly,” Fluttershy said before falling asleep.
“Uh Fluttershy, if Luna isn’t alive, than why is the moon rising?” the butterfly asked. Fluttershy opened her eyes and realized there was something defiantly something wrong.
“I have no idea what is going on,” Fluttershy replied. Luna was dead, right? Fluttershy couldn’t stop thinking about how odd this was. “I think there not dead,” Fluttershy said. The butterfly thought for a moment.
“They must have just disappeared,” the butterfly said. Fluttershy gasped.
“You must be right,” Fluttershy said, “we must look for them.” Fluttershy got up from the ground and started to fly. “Come on butterfly, let’s go,” Fluttershy said.
“Uh Fluttershy, don’t forget your bunny,” the butterfly reminded her.
“Oh, almost forgot Angel,” Fluttershy said, swooping down to grab Angel.
“Maybe we should head to those hills over there to rest,” the butterfly suggested, “then tomorrow we will start our quest.” Fluttershy nodded in agreement. Fluttershy landed on the grass and fell softly asleep. The butterfly sat on a flower.
They had no idea what they were getting into; it would be a long quest.
