The lunar Sentinel

This takes place during the great wars and before nightmare moon.

long ago before the dawn of the golden age there was war that ravaged the lands. Equestria looking for means to end the war sought the help of famous metal workers. "Please help us good forgers or our lands are doomed!" Celestia cried to them for help and the forgers agreed to build a mechanical army that knew know fear and obeyed only the Two Sisters. Night and day the forgers worked till two armies were built. The first one was the Solar army and were loyal to Celestia only, the other group was the Lunar army but we sadly never saw much war. Our duty was to guard the castle at night. now it wasn't all that boring for every once and awhile an assassin would come and we a very fun and blood time with them. mostly we would behead them and dewing them the hang the corpse over the gates as a warning and we took much pride as a robot could in protecting Princess Luna. Then one day the war was over and all the Solar army was put away in a vault but for us Lunar? we were decommissioned and scraped. but me I was left to rust in a heap outside of the town ponyville. Many years later as I laid there rusting away three fillies were picking through the waste and scrap when one tripped and landed on my chest. "Aieee!" she cried fleeing to her friends. "What got u all up in scare sweetie belle?" Scootaloo asked. "Giant robot thing!" she claimed and the other two laughed till she showed them. "Ok maybe u weren't kiddin Sweetie Belle." Applebloom said as they looked me over. "Maybe we'll get our cutey marks in Robotics! scootaloo said as they dragged me away and to their club house. months of hard greasy work later the three filthy girls checked but only applebloom got hers. they were happy and were leaving when my long thought dead core started up and all my old systems and protocols were opened and processed. Standing I started scanning the three and finding them non threating I took one step and crashed through the floor to the ground below. All three came down to see if I was damaged but found that I had started out for Canterlot! catching up with me Applebloom asked if a had a name. "I am unit 347-87-22 Of the Lunar army." My deep robotic voice said as I left deep hoof marks in the ground as I stepped out on to the road. the three were trying to tell me that the war I may had been was log since over and there were no other metal soldier's hearing that I stopped and asked why had they brought me back online for? "to see I we got our cutie marks." scootaloo said as applebloom showed me her neck and I saw a wrench with a apple on it. "thank u for waking me my new friends but my duty comes first and that is Canterlots safety." waving farewell I thudded down the road and into ponyville many ran in fear as I went to the train station. the main six came up and twilight demanded what I was doing and why am I causing panic. I turn around look at each of them making records of them. "I head for canterlot to see Princess Luna my friend. so please I need to go." I tried to explain till Rainbow Dash flew at me ready to fight. My threat program clicked and I stepped sideways letting her fly past but faster that though possible I grabbed her by the wings and slammed her to the ground as me arm blade slid out and placed it a her throat. "I am unit 347-87-22 of Princess Luna's Lunar army and threating a soldier when in times of peace and for trying to be unthreatening to civilians is punishable by behead meant or dewing meant!" I stated pressing the razor sharp blade against her throat. I pull it away and sheathed it. "Thankfully u are a civilian and by my programing I can't kill u but if u were any other species I wouldn't hesitate to have spilled your blood here and now, so my fine women I bid u good day. I stepped on the train arrived at canterlot later. stepping off I trumped to the palace getting many looks of fear and awe from the ponies as I made it to the front gates the guards let me by and my thudding hoof steps were heard from the throne room. "Luna what is that?" she ask worried as I got closer. "Know not what it is Sister but be ready if it is a enemy!" they ready and wait as I threw the doors wide and walked in. Going to a shocked Luna I kneeled at her hooves and praised her and her sister in their life of peace. Gulping she had me rise and asked where I came from and how I survived. I told her everything that I could remember sense the day that me and my brothers were scrapped and seeing me online and fighting ready had me sent out and posted as main door guard. That night griffins came and with evil intent. As they all slipped in through the doors I stood from my chair and demanded they state their business and why were they here at this time of the night. They bared their talons and blades and seeing them a major threat my systems went code red and visor dropped over me eyes as I brought my blades out. One swung at me and I sliced the blade in half then in the same motion sliced his head off and slaughtered the others in merciless battle. pulling my coated blades out of the last on the lights came on and the two sisters came and saw the carnage. Tia fainted and Luna looked proud as I cleaned my blades and sheathed them into my arms. the other guards came in and seeing the bloody mess started cleaning up. returning to my post I was cleaned as well and soon I was polished brightly and my moon symbols shown on my shoulders. Luna was going to see delegates and I went with her arriving in Saddle Arabia we were welcomed happily and I stood in the back ground and kept my optics on her at all times. noticing something at the drink table I zoomed in and saw a stallion put something in a drink and gave it to Luna reacting fast I snatched it away and poured it out. "My Lady he put something in the cup!" I shouted above the noise and all grew quiet. She looked me and asked "Aren't Thou sure my old soldier?" I nod and presenting a crystal I played the recording to her and the nobles. the stallion tried to flee but unlocking my blade I threw it and nailed him in the neck and he died instantly. seeing another robed figure I grabbed Luna in my arm and ran for outside. grabbing the blade piece as I moved I made it and was surrounded by thieves and murders. putting Luna behind me I readied for the fight and dealt brutally as their blood flew. minuets later it was over and we stood there and picking her up again we went back to canterlot were I was made Luna's personal body guard and when danger came I met it head on and without mercy.
