The sun was shining in the early morning dew. Everypony everywhere were still resting in their cottages. Up in a cloud house a blue Pegasus with a rainbow colored mane snored loudly. It was Rainbow Dash. The sun shined on her face as she awoke. Rainbow yawned. She began to think about what she was to do this day.
Go over to Sugarcube Corner and see what Pinkie Pie has in store for them. Head over to Sweet Apple Acres and buck some apples with Apple Jack. Not really Dash was interested in. She could go over to Twilight's Castle and sit on her throne. Dash frowned. She had nothing to do today. She could bust some clouds, but it was her day off so she didn't. Rainbow looked outside her window to see what the day brought for her.
"I'm early."
Rainbow said to herself. In fact she was early. Not common among Dash unless she had something important to do. As Dash turned her head to look away she noticed a figure struggling in the distance.
I wonder who that could be.
Dashed muttered. She flew over to get a closer look, and as she did, she found out what it was. It was an orange colored filly. Not only that, it was Scootaloo! She was practicing trying to fly. Dash hid in the bushes below so that she wouldn't be seen. She didn't want Scootaloo to get distracted or nervous with her presence. Dash smiled as Scootaloo kept trying and trying, instead of giving up. Her persistence worked! Scootaloo began to fly. Dash's mouth dropped with a smile.
"I'm flying?..........I'm flying!"
Yelled Scootaloo. She flew about fifty feet before she landed. Rainbow Dash squeaked in delight, raced over to Scootaloo, gave her a big hug, and whispered.
"That......was......awesome."
A figure in the shadows watched Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo. It was wearing an interesting looking armor that doesn't do much to protect him. Yes, the figure is a guy. At this point, if you don't know yet, the figure is the assassin. If you thought Rainbow Dash was the assassin then you're wrong. She is overused as both the victim and the killer. Nor is she the main character. She's simply here to have this cute little moment, and this moment will, most likely, not play a part in the future. If you don't like it, feel free to walk out at any time. You won't be missed since I most likely never even met you.
The pony's name is Pony JPL. He was bullied for how stupid his name was. His color is basically grey with a black mane. There is a black patch on his mouth and he has black eyebrows. He is also a Pegasus, and he is simply the first and worst pony assassin that is known. By him that is. He thinks he's the first but doesn't believe it. He knows for a fact that is is probably the worst assassin ever. I like him already. He doesn't have any friends. Yet. So, no shipping. I hate it when people ship OCs and official characters together. If anything they should ship OCs with other OCs. But that might not end well. So, only ship your OC with the person you're in a relationship with's OC. But statistics show that about 90% of the fandom is single. I didn't think this through, so let's just continue the story.
Pony JPL scanned the two Pegasi with the mental image of what he was looking for. A yellow Pegasus with pink hair. This line of dialogue takes place in his head.
Alright, so I found Rainbow Dash. She should lead me to my target. Whoever the heck she is. Her description does sound familiar, but I don't need to worry too much. Rainbow, here, simply needs to stop being adorable with that child. It looks like she just learned how to fly. I remember when I first learned how to fly. I was beaten to near death by my Pegasus friends. Wait a minute, where's Rainbow Dash? Dammit! I wasn't paying attention and now I've lost my only lead. I'm never going to get payed for this job, am I? The only thing left to do is to wonder around the town and ask for directions. But I'm wearing my armor, so I'll stand out. I'll just have to take it off, but I don't have a place to put it. The only place I can think of is this bush. I really hope nopony steals it.
JPL took off his armor and popped out of the bushes. Unexpectedly he came muzzle to muzzle with a pink earth pony that had some oddly shaped hair. JPL backed away from the pink pony. He felt awkward and embarrassed. He'd never been that close to a mare before. With the exception of his mother and sister. He always stayed away from them. He saw them as dominant and would overrule all the males. Excitedly the pink pony spoke.
"Hi There! I'm Pinkie Pie. I've never seen you here before."
"I wouldn't doubt that. This is my first time visiting."
JPL replied.
Am I really talking to this mare? What has my life become? This is scary.
Pinkie question where he was visiting from. To which JPL replied,
"Oh. I just came from...........a..............shack?........... In the middle of nowhere. It's what I would call a.........home."
Pinkie Pie monologues in delight.
"A shack!!! I love shacks! They're just like sheds. But only smaller. Or bigger. Oh! What color color is it? Green? Blue? Orange? Oh, I would love it if it was purple!"
