New Beginnings: Nightmare Night Shenanigans
Button wakes up to the sweet scent of pumpkin pie in the morning air.
“Mmmm...pie!” he quickly gets up, his brown mane covering his face. Button jumps off of his bed and starts running to the stairs that lead to the kitchen.From upstairs he sees his mom, Love Tap, cooking a pie.
“Good morning Button.” Button walks down the stairs and notices something different about her.
“Mom are you a...?” As she smiles to her son, a pair of long, white fangs show up. The mare puts the pie at the window to cool.
“Yes a vampire! I came to drink your blood!” She turns around and hisses. In a blink of an eye, she tackles Button and… starts to tickle him.
Button bursts out laughing..
“Haha! Moooom! Stop!” Button shouts while tears of laughter roll down his face. Love Tap stops tickling him and trots off to start preparing another dish. Button pants heavily, still recovering from the tickle attack. Taking another breath, he asks, “hey mom? Did my friends stop by?” Mostly recovered, Button slowly pulls himself up off the floor. Just as he gets up, he hears a knock on the front door. “I got it mom!” He shouts loudly, despite the fact that Tap is not too far away.
Button trots to the door smiling, he opens it- and is immediately kissed by a white and purple blur. Not knowing what’s going on, the kiss began to deepen. Without warning, the pony who kissed him pulls away.
“W-wow Button that’s the longest you’ve ever kissed me!” The brown colt realizes who kissed him. It is Sweetie Belle, his fillyfriend. Once the fact settled in, little colt blushed.
“H-Hi Sweetie” He stuttered. He felt lost in a trance when looking deep into her emerald green eyes. No matter how many times he sees or talks to her- he was always feels nervous and or lovestruck around her.
“Hey Button, you ready to head to the treehouse?” Button nods and tries to gain some composure.
“You bet I am Sweets! We’ll get there faster than Sonic the Hedgehog!” he shouted in excitement before quickly grabbing his stuff and kissing his mom goodbye.
“Button don’t forget to-!” The door slams shut. Button was already out with Sweetie Belle before miss Tap could finish her sentance. Love Tap sighed, “that young colt better be careful…”

Button and Sweetie Belle made it to the treehouse before most of their friends.
“Hi guys!” Sweetie Belle yelled, entering the treehouse. Button, wearing camo face paint followed her in. He had a bandana on his head and a lollipop in his mouth.
“Hi Sweetie Belle, hi… Button?” Apple Bloom said surprised. The colt smiled in reply.
“Solid Snake!” Pip exclaimed in excitement, knowing what Button’s costume is. Scootaloo and Rumble entered the treehouse in a few seconds. As soon as they spotted button, they started staring at him with confusion.
“Button is that what your costume is?” Scootaloo finally asks
“Nah I’m going to be Link from Legend of Zelda!” the brown colt sais cheerfully.
“Isn’t Link the princess and Zelda the hero?” Apple Bloom asks in a confusion filledvoice. Button gives her a dirty look and facehooves.
“No Link is the hero and Zelda is the princess…” he anwsers a bit annoyed by the question
“Then why in tarnation isn’t the game called Legend of Link?!” Button ponders the question.
“I don’t actually know…” Then Prokun and a brown colt fly in. Dinky climbs up the ladder to see them.
“Hey guys.”
“Sup Prokun”. The new colt stays quietly.
“Hi guys and gals.” Dinky says while walking over to her coltfriend, who was currently talking to Scootaloo and Rumble. The new colt was left standing there. He watched them quietly, saying nothing.
“NIce hoodie and glasses! What’s your name?” Scootaloo asks.
“H-hi my name is...G-Glace Pen…” the brown pegasus says quietly. He was so quiet, that they couldn’t hear him at all. He then waves at them shyly.
“I think he’s a mute Scoots.” Apple Bloom states.
“No, that’s impossible! He was talking... We just couldn’t hear him.” Sweetie Belle said, while Prokun sighed.
“Guys, meet Glacé Pen- my cousin! He’s staying with my family for the weekend.” Scootaloo looks at Glacé’s flank.
“He doesn’t have a cutie mark...” the introduced pony covers his flank with his wing and takes a deep breath.
“I’m from Bucklyn, Manehatten.”The pegasus states. Apple Bloom’s eyes widen..
“Do you know Babs Seed?” He nods.
“Yeah I’m part of the CMC there…”
“Well welcome to the first CMC branch!” Pip shouts out. Glace looks at them with awe.
“Wow.” he whispers
“So now that we introduced Prokun’s cousin- let’s go over our trick or treating plans, shall we?’ Scoots advised
“Well here’s the plan: we are going to split up and go to as many houses as we can. That way we can get more candy!”
“I heard miss Roseluck is giving out full size candies.” Sweetie Belle sais
“Cool, more sugar!” Rumble yells out, not hiding his excitement
“Right, so, we all know what we are doing, right?”All fillies and colts nood in agreement.
“Then I call this CMC meeting adjourned!” Apple Bloom exclaimed and they all went their separate ways.
Prokun, Dinky and Glacé explore Ponyville, showing Glacé everything: from Twilight’s Library to Sugarcube Corner. During the time, Glacé got some attention from the fillies. He felt very uncomfortable with it, so he blushed a lot.
“P-Prokun why are so many ponies staring at me?” Dinky and Prokun started to giggle.
“I think that some of the fillies just like what they see.” Dinky said while giving him a wink. Glacé looked away nervously, and he spotted a Black filly with a black mane and green/ red highlights. She had a black bow and she was staring at glace shyly.
“P-Prokun who is that?” the pegasus points to her.
“Hmm? oh that’s Midnight Breeze.” Glacé blushes and smiles a little. Dinky runs over to Midnight and starts to push her over to them.
“I-I D-Dinky I-I'm not so sure if I should.” Midnight said
“No need to thank me!”
“B-but Dinky!” Midnight finds herself face to face with Glacé.
“H-Hi there…” Midnight blushes as she looks at the brown pegasus
“H-Hey…” She manages to anwser. Just then, Dinky walks back to Prokun.
“Don’t they look cute?”
“Yeah it looks like us when we first meet.” Prokun giggles.
“They are talking a full conversation...I wonder what they are talking about...” said Dinky with a smile
“White Soxs are way better!”
Midnight stated
“No! The Yankees are a far superior team!” Midnight smirks.
“You wanna go see the game at Sugarcube corner?”
“Yeah! Only to see that the Yankees win and that the Soxs turn out to be the inferior team!” Glacé smirks back.
“Big words for a small stallion!” She giggles.
“I’m the same size Miss Breeze!”
“Umm...okay so let’s go to my house, my mom has our costumes.” Dinky said.
“Okay...race you!” Prokun runs off.
“Hey no fair!” Dinky runs after him giggling.
