Rainbow Dash builds a Time Machine
Bangbang clang clang
these were the sounds that came out of Rainbow Dash’s garage for the last 24 hours, it was loud yes, annoying, heck yes, but she didn’t care she was on a mission, and she wouldn’t stop till she had completed that mission.
“What in Tar-Nation is going on!” Applejack yelled as she entered the garage seeing Rainbow on her knees surrounded by power tools.
“Oh hey AJ. What’s up.” Rainbow sitting taking off her protective helmet.
“I’ve been hearing that racket all day today, all the way from the farm, kept me and Big Mac awake and you know how much of a grump Big Mac is when he doesn’t get his shut eye.”
“Oh...Sorry...But I got important stuff to do.” Rainbow returned to her construction.
“What kind of important stuff?” Applejack asked looking curious as she saw all the strange gizmo’s and wires all around the garage turning the place into one big workshop mess. “Building a car or something.”
“Actually yes...But now just any car….A car that’s a TIME MACHINE! I saw it in a movie once.”
Applejack’s face became bemused as she heard these words being uttered by her friends mouth. “A….Time Machine?”
“Yeah! I’m going to go back in time and Kill Hitler.”
“Uhhh…...You're going to build a time machine to kill someone?”
‘“Just Hitler.”
“You uh…..Why all of suddenly you wanna kill Hitler...I mean yeah he was the baddest guy around but still?” Applejack was having trouble finding words to express her frustration and confusion.
“Two reasons A. So I can be a hero and B. Cause Doctor Who episode was called let's Kill Hitler and it totally was a waste of time...Their was no plot to Kill Hitler...Just something to do with some girl or something I don’t know.” Rainbow was now hammering away at some metal now.
“Um….Rainbow Dash? You do know that TIme Travel is make believe.”
‘Nuh uh.” Rainbow taunted. “It could happen, lots of those dudes say it could.”
“Yeah but...Rainbow….You failed Science….and Math…..twice.”
“You saying I’m stupid.” Rainbow got up confronting Applejack.
“Just with those things.” Applejack said trying to cool down the tension with a smile. “I’m just saying, ain’t this more Twilight’s field or something.”
“Oh no! I’m not going to Twilight so she can spoil my fun with her egghead-ness of ...space...time….relative….something something. Uh uh, no way...this gal going solo on this one.” Rainbow Dash huffed off in indignation as she went back to work trying to put to pipes together.
“Do you even know what y’all are doing?”
“Yeah, i’m trying to get the engine up and running.”
“No I mean with building the actual time machine part...I know you could build a car...you took shop….Twice!”
“Oh well….um…” Rainbow Dash froze thinking it over. “I’ll get there when I get there. But once I do you’ll be looking at the ga’ll who stopped World War 2...Maybe I’ll get a medal from the President….Or the King or something.”
“You have no idea how to build a Time Machine do you?” Applejack folded her arms.
“I...I...I’ll figure it out….I just gotta put some wires together and bang...Time Machine.” Applejack sighed as she sat down on one of the boxes, knowing this one going ot take a while.
2 HOURS LATER
“Are you sure you wanna ask Twilight for help….Or at least tell you that you're wrong.” Applejack asked her energy slowly waning on her.
“No!”
4 HOURS LATER
“Rainbow you just been putting those two wires together forever! You ain’t making any progress with it switch to something else.”
“NO!”
SO MANY HOURS LATER THAT THIS SCENE IS STARTING TO BECOME REPETITIVE
“I’m going to do...I’m going to build Time machine….Kill Hitler….Get awesome medals….Or meet ...Captain America.” Finally Rainbow collapsed at the weight of her own exhaustion.
“Thank goodness!” Applejack mumbled taking a sigh of relief as she got up from the couch.
“Hey Girls.” Applejack turned around to see Twilight walking towards them. “Uh...W-What's’ going on.” She looked at the horrible mess and Rainbow collapsed on the ground sleeping.
“Oh hey Twi! Finally! Rainbow Dash has been trying to build a Time Machine with a car or something...I don’t even think she knew what she was building by the end.”
Twilight eyes bulged as she started laughing. “A time machine! Rainbow! Time Travel is scientifically impossible due to the following variables...first….it…
As Twilight rambled Rainbow started building things in her sleep her arms began to meticulously take a blue wire and a red wire together and began to attach them, suddenly a small flicker of light began to illuminate from the wires, however it grew and grew and grew.
“And finally….What the hay is that.” Twilight pointed Applejack turned around to see the blast of light.
“RAINBOW!”
“Uh what? Rainbow Dash woke up to see the light began to lose control. “Um...I didn’t do it I swear.”
“What they hay is goin on…” Everyone screamed as the flash of light consumed everyone in a instant until they were all blinded by it, unaware, unable to see, not even sure where they were.
After a few minutes of panic the girls eyesight returned to them. “W-What….What happened.” Rainbow Dash asked herself as she tried to find her footing in where ever she was.
“What in tarnation happened.” Applejack asked herself.
“Well….Due to the systemic activity of that light and the …
“English please Twi.” Applejack interrupted.
“Well...Um...Girls….I hate to admit but, I think Rainbow Dash, you did it.”
“Did what?”
“You created Time Travel.”
“I did!” Rainbow Dash jumped for joy her face beaming. “I did it! I did it! Yes! Now finally I can Kill Hitler?”
‘Wait you wanna kill hitler?” Twilight balked. “Rainbow Dash as much as that’s a noble cause you can’t do that! Do you know how big of a ripple in space and time you could create, you might not even be born...or cause World War III or worse….
“Um Girls.” Applejack interrupted.
“And another thing Time Travel shouldn’t be used for such silly selfish gain it should be used for…
“Bla, bla...bla...Please Twi, I’ve seen it done in movies it could totally work.” Rainbow argued
“Did things turn out GOOD in those movies.” Twilight argued.
“Um well…
“Ah girls…”
“And finally...I must say Rainbow Dash if that is the kind of thing you wish to use Time Travel for then I should really consider…
“GIRLS!”
“WHAT!”
“Girls….I don’t think Hitler lived in a time...with that.” She pointed up, slowly RainbowDash and Twilight looked to see.
