Ones True Shadow

A magical beam, sent down from the stars above, landed in the middle of Everfree Forest. A draconequus was laying on the ground, struggling to get up. She opened her eyes. She looked up at the stars, they all seemed to be twinkling bright. She smiled, just looking at them gave her warm thoughts. She got up, her legs were wobbling. A shadow appeared in front of her. She backed up a couple of steps, another shadow appeared out of nowhere. She was surrounded by shadows. "How lovely, a new victim..." One of the shadows moved closer to her. "W-what do you want with me..?" The young draconequus looked scared, frightened by the shadows. "She looks perfect..." Said another shadow, coming closer to her too. "Oh.. So.. Beautiful..." Yet another shadow leaned in towards her. Tears started streaming down her white face. "Darling, don't cry... What is you're name..?" The last shadow leaned in towards her, looking directly into her emerald eyes. "M-my name is I-Illusion.. Voided Illusion.." She started shaking in fear of the shadows, afraid of what they might do to her. "Do you want to become... Powerful..?" The shadow stared at her mane. "N-no.. Not really..." She tried to run away from them, but they were as solid as a regular pony would be. "We just.. Want you to become a new princess.." She touched her mane. Tears kept coming out of her eyes. Voided Illusion sniffed, hoping that this would end. "Absorb into her..." The shadow touched Illusion's head, absorbing herself into Voided. She screamed, a terrfying pain running through her body. The other shadows absorbed into her. She wobbled and screamed. Then it stopped. Her mane started to flow, her front paws were covered in shadows. A black smoke came from her eyes. The shadows went into her heart, locking all the friendship, hope, dreams, and honesty inside of it. She now had the urge to take over Equestria, and she believed nothing could stop her from doing so.
