Chapters scootaloo: knight of shadows
Ponyville, a peaceful town where ponies of all kinds live together in peace and harmony with out a care and all with a happy smile on their faces in the early morning. However in a home at the edge of town and close to white tale woods lives an eighteen year old Pegasus filly who was not in a good mood as the other ponies out side, she was now waking up from her sleep and felt a bit annoyed, she has orange fur, an unkempt purple mane and tail and purple eyes, her name, is scootaloo.
Scootaloo went to her bathroom for a shower and after 20 minutes she came out in her usual clothing, a dark purple short sleeve shirt, dark grey jeans, and black shoes. She went down stairs of her two story house and into her kitchen to get breakfast, as she ate she looked around her home to distract herself, her kitchen has the basics of every other kitchen , a sink ,stove, oven, and a microwave, she also has a counter with three seats so that guest can eat and see what is happening in the kitchen. Her living room has two chairs and a coach with a coffee table in the middle of the room and a flat screen tv.
Finished with breakfast scootaloo went outside and locked her door before leaving towards town, as she goes through the streets she looked around, trying to get her annoyed feeling out of her mind, as she walks she picked up on the town gossip of the day, apparently there has been disappearance of random ponies who were found dead last night, not wanting to dwell on such gossip scootaloo went to the one place she could go to cheer up. She looks ahead and sees her destination, it was a rounded building with a purple roof that looks like a circus tent, it has fancy decorations on the outside giving it a bit of high class appearance, scootaloo went ahead in since this building was a store and home, a clothing store to be exact.
After the bell over the entrance jingled a lady like voice from a nearby room announced the usual welcoming " welcome to rarity's carousel boutique, where all things at-oh, hello.scootaloo dear" rarity said stopping her business greeting once she realised who had entered her boutique, rarity is a white unicorn with an indigo mane and tail styled in fancy curls, she has blue eyes with long eyelashes, she wears a black dress shirt and black tight pants, and black high heels, she looks like she could be twenty-four.
"Hey rarity is sweetie belle up yet" scootaloo greeted back wondering if her friend was awake or not
"I believe she is taking a shower, she should be done any moment so go ahead and have a seat" rarity offered as she went into the kitchen, as she left scootaloo went to set on one of the couches and relaxed for a few minuets, but her relaxing was cut short when rarity screamed from the kitchen, worried for the classy mare scootaloo bolted to the kitchen to see what is happening, when she entered she sees rarity and a earth pony stallion who looks about in his early thirties she never seen before, he was dark brown with greasy green mane and tail, and brown eyes, in his right hand held a knife, it was then that scootaloo understood why rarity screamed.
"Alright lady, give me the money and no one gets hurt" the thug said in a gruff voice.
"The only one getting hurt is you if you don't get away from her" scootaloo threatened,makeing her self known to the stallion.
"Heh, funny now since your here might as well give me your cash too, unless you want to spend the night in the hospital" he said trying to be intimidating as he points his knife at scootaloo.
"Scootaloo, don't get involve you'll only get in danger" rarity warned not taking her eyes off the brute that had came through her back door, "I will pay you but leave her alone" she pleaded, not wanting to get the younger mare hurt
"I won't hurt her as long as I get that money, now get it" he demanded.
Rarity walked to where she keeps her emergency money, as she did the stallion kept his eyes on her incase she tried anything suspicious, as he does that he never saw scootaloo move up to him, when he saw movement in the corner of his eye he looked to investigate, but as soon as he turned his head he got a face full of an orange fist, not expecting an attack the stallion was off balance and fell flat on his back, the knife dropped a few inches away from him.
"I told you you'd be the only one hurt" scootaloo stated mockingly as she looks down on thug, this only angered him more than he already was, he stood up and got ready to fight, but then he saw the look in her eyes and it made him freeze in surprise and fear.
"Impoasiple you can't be" was all he said disbelievingly before he ran out of the building as fast as he can like his life depended on it.
"I can't believe what I saw, a stallion like him being scared off like that from one punch" rarity said, not believing what she saw, when she heard the sound of something hitting the floor she turned around worried that it was scootaloo, only to be proven wrong when she saw the thug on the ground and scootaloo perfectly fine.
"What can I say, he was wimpyer than he looks" scootaloo said with a cocky smile, which made rarity roll her eyes, before anything could be said a third mare came into the room.
She is a white unicorn mare who looks to be eighteen, a few inches under scootaloo's shoulders,has light purple mane and tail with a dark pink streak running through them, her eyes are a dark green, her attire is a dark pink dress, purple skirt, and white shoes with pink laces.
"Hey sis, is everything alright I thought I hear something crashing" she wondered, not noticing scootaloo yet
"Oh, hello sweetie belle, and everything is fine, nothing to worry about" rarity lied not wanting to worry her younger sister
"Yeah, it's all cool here" scootaloo added in, sweetie belle jumped at her voice not expecting someone else here
"Oh, hey scoots what are you doing here?" sweetie belle asked as she got herself composed from her small shock.
"I just came down to see if you wanted to hang out, just the two of us like the old days" scootaloo replied.
"I was going out any way so sure" sweetie belle said as she headed out to the door which scootaloo following close behind
"I expect to see you home before it gets too dark, you have school in the morning" rarity reminded the younger teen as the two of them walked into town.
And so the two friends enjoyed themselves as they did various things, went through the park, played some arcade games, and other fun things two teen mares enjoyed, by the the time they returned to the boutique it just turned night and the two friends were saying their farewells.
"Sure you don't want to spend the night scoots, even with some psycho on the loose".sweetie wondered with concern in her eyes.
"It will be ok sweets, I can handle myself fine, goodnight" scootaloo assured as she started to leave for home.
"Night scootaloo, see you at school tomorrow" sweetie said as she waved her friend goodbye before going inside for the night.
As scootaloo walked through the town home she heard yelling in a nearby ally way, as she walked into the ally she shortly sees two ponies, one a thirty looking mare, who scootaloo guessed by the look of fear in her eyes, and the other a stallion.
"I see you decided to pick on another mare today since you couldn't finish business with rarity" scootaloo stated as she stares down on the stallion, for this stallion was the same thug she saw at the boutique, when he turned around his eyes widened in fear. The mare sees this as a chance to escape and ran out of the ally, not bothering to look back to see the other mare.
"What do you want " the stallion asked, backing up away from the mare he encountered earlier
"I just thought I'd tie some loose ends, can't let big mouths telling my secret you know" scootaloo said as she walked towards the shaking stallion, he turned around to run away but was stopped instantly, once he turned around the last thing he saw was two horrifying things of the mare that suddenly has him, the first were her crimson slitted eyes, and the second was a pair of fangs before the sunk into his neck, when he felt them he screamed in fear and pain, that was the last sound to ever leave his mouth before he went silent, permanently.

Sweetie bell, a mare scootaloo knew since they were fillies looking for their cutie marks long before they met apple bloom and formed the cutie mark crusaders, a pony scootaloo would willingly tell her dark secret to sooner or latter. However, that sooner or latter became now and not the way scootaloo had intended.
"I can't believe it, your a vampire" sweetie belle said unable to believe what she had seen just a few minutes ago, her friend is a blood thirsty vampire all along.
"Would you believe me if I said no?" Scootaloo asked in a weak chuckle
Sweetie bell was unsure what to do at the moment and was scared for her life, sensing her fear scootaloo put on a calming smile and put her hands in the air as a sign of peace.
"Its okay sweetie belle, I won't hurt you I swear" scootaloo said trying to ease her unicorn friend's fear of being attacked, she was going to say more but her senses had picked up approaching ponies coming towards them, three and she knew them well enough to identify them, probably came to rescue them from the big bad wolf.
"I can't right now but I promise I well explain latter, come to my place tonight" scootaloo said urgently
"And you can bring rarity if you want" she added in just before the ponies she had sensed came into the building. One of them was rarity, the other two was a blue Pegasus and the other was and earth pony. The peagusus wears a light blue tang top with no sleeves, blue jeans, and red sneakers, her eyes are rosey pink, and her mane and tail are that of a rainbow, on her right hand is a white cloud with rainbow lightning. The earth pony has straw yellow mane and tail braided in a pony tail, a brown stetson hat rests on top her head over her emerald green eyes, she has white freckles on each of her cheeks, she wears an orange plaid shirt tied so that her belly button was seen, she has blue tight jeans tucked in her cow girl boots.
"Rares,dash, aj what brings you to this part of town?" Scootaloo wondered with a fake curious tone that she seemed had years of practice to pull off
"We came here because apple bloom called and told me about this wolf and explained what happened, even about how ya tried ta fight alone scootaloo" applejack explained which a scorn look towards the orange pegasus
"I'm fine, I don't even have a scratch on me" scootaloo said with a cocky smile dismissing the older farmers glare.
"Even if you some how made it out unharmed you still should have tried to get help instead of getting a dangerous fight" rainbow dash said with a tone that made it clear she was serious on the matter like her apple friend, hearing the older pegasus lecture her like a dissapointed sister or mother made scootaloo clench her fist in attempt to hold back her frustration and anger,but before she said anything back sweetie belle spoke up
"But if did that then the wolf would have killed a lot of ponies by the time help came, she only fought it so no one else would get hurt" sweetie belle said trying to defend her friend.
"I'm just glad no one was seriously injured or worst" rarity said in a relive tone for her sisters safety. Rainbow dash and applejack nodded and went to leave and head home, when rainbow dash and applejack was far enough out of hearing range scootaloo called for rarity's attention
"Hey rarity, can you and sweetie belle come to my place latter, I need to talk to you guys about something important? " Scootaloo asked hoping to get her explanation out of the way tonight so she would have time to prepare for her scheduled fight.
"I have no orders for any clothing so I would love to come, how about you sweetie belle?" rarity asked her sister who simply nodded in response, she had questions that only scootaloo could answer.
"Great, see you guys latter" scootaloo said as she walked home, she had some things to check at home and wanted to do it before her explanation.
Latter that night, rarity and sweetie belle arrived at scootaloo's house and was knocking at the door, a couple minutes latter and scootaloo openned her door to allow them entry
"Hey, glad you came I made tea for us to drink while I tell guys something important" scootaloo said as she walked them to her living room where three cups of tea sat, rarity and sweetie belle sat on the couch while scootaloo want on the chair.
"Well, thank you darling, I had no idea you would made tea" rarity said surprised at the younger mare ability of a great houstes
"So, what is it you wish to tell us dear?" rarity wondered worried that it was bad news
Scootaloo looked at both mares she had intended to reveal herself, but now she had gone cold feet and was unsure on how to approach this situation she put herself into.
Wing it and hope for the best was her only solution to mind.
"I think it would be best to show you first" she said as she got up, her cutie mark shined a small crimson light as her apperance changed into their vampiric form. After her looks changed the glow on her cutie mark died revealing that it to had changed, what was once a wheel which wings is now a red moon with a black sword over lapping it with the sharp edge pointing down. Rarity and sweetie belle were shocked beyond believe, sweetie belle may have found out about it earlier, but seeing her vampiric form was still shocking.
"What are you" rarity asked in a soft voice, still not understanding what she had just seen, just a few seconds ago scootaloo was a normal pegasus , but then her cutie Mark glowed and her looks had turned, not much , her fur and mane are a darker shade, but the most drastic change was her wings are now like that of a bat, and her once purple irises are crimson with slits.
"I'm what you would call a vampire" scootaloo informed waiting for the initial freak out she was so used to
"H-how long have you been hiding this?" Asked sweetie belle shyly, curious on how much she had been this way.
"I was born like this as far as I know" scootaloo answerd, she expected to to be yelled at and ran out of town by an angry mob but so far that wasn't the case.
"Aren't two gonna scream or try to kill me, many a mob or something" she asked hoping the answer was a no.
"Well, it is weird finding out your a vampire, but your still my best friend" sweetie belle said as if she had read her mind
"Quite right darling, you have always put some one else's need before your own, if you have been a vampire this whole time as you say then who are we to judge" rarity put in with a friendly smile that told scootaloo that her worries were for nothing. Hearing them talk like this made scootaloo get teary eyed, overwhelmed with joy she suddenly went and hug the two unicorn guest at the same time,neither rarity nor sweetie belle were expecting this but happily returned the hug.
"Thank you you don't know ho w much it means to me to hear you guys say that" scootaloo said in a soft voice with tears streaming her cheeks. No one said anything for a few minutes till the hug broke.
"I'm sure you guys have a lot of questions but I need to start my training now before sunrise" scootaloo informed her friends as she turned back to her mortal self.
"Trainning,what are training for?" Wondered rarity as she raised an eyebrow
"You mean for that fight with that werewolf right" asked sweetie belle in a tone that made sound more like a statement
"Lycan, and yes" corrected scootaloo, this only made rarity more curious and worried at the same time. Seeing her confusion scootaloo and sweetie belle told rarity the truth of what really happened and about the fight coming up in a week.
"Why didn't you just kill it then and there, according to how sweetie belle described it you seem more than capable" rarity asked wanting to now why she would agree to this sense it seemed like a hassle.
"Two reasons, one, is because I wanted to know why a shadow lycan who are normally nocturnal would appear in a public place in broad daylight" scootaloo said waiting for her friends process this before continuing, at their nods she gave them her other reason
"And second, while it looked like I could win the truth is that if the fight continued then I might have died" she said in a dark tone, the sisters eyes widened at hearing this.
"But you didn't even get a scratch on you" sweetie belle pointed out what she thought was a flea to the second reason.
"While that might have been, the lycan had the advantage because It wasn't restrained as much as I was in daylight meaning it could use some of its powers during the fight while I couldn't, and I wasn't expecting to fight a lycan at the moment" scootaloo explained, after hearing this the two unicorns nodded in somber understanding.
"Well then you need to get started right away then" rarity stated with sweetie belle voicing her agreement. Scootaloo smiled at their support and was happy they accepted her secret
"Yeah, but you two should stay the night , I don't know what that lycan intends to do but I would feel better if you two stayed till morning for safety" scootaloo offered, explaining the potential danger. The two unicorn sisters nodded in agreement and followed scootaloo to their room for the night, after they went to sleep scootaloo went out into the would to start her training for the fight that was soon to come.
As she trained she heard a howl that sounded like a wolf.
Or a shadow lycan.

Rarity woke up to to the sound of birds chirping in the morning, always one to wake up early she stretched and looked around the room she finds herself in, the fact that it wasn't her home startled her a bit before remembering last night events. Scootaloo, a pegasus who's personality is similar to rainbow dash except a bit more modest, is actually a vampire. She walked down the stairs to find scootaloo in her pony form in the kitchen cooking a delicious smelling meal.
"Good morning rarity sleep well" politely asked scootaloo with out looking away from the stove
"Good morning dear and yes thank you" rarity replied with a kind smile, but was switched to one of curiosity
"How did you know it was me and not sweetie belle,you didn't look" she asked as she sat at the table
"I learned how to tell the difference between a ponies magic signature a long time ago, it became second nature" informed scootaloo, teaching the unicorn of one of her vampire skills.
"A ponies magic signature?" Rarity echoed questionily not understanding what the pegasus means.
"You now how all ponies has magic in them besides unicorns right?" Scootaloo asked , when she turned and sees rarity nod she continued "well a magic signature is like that, but belonging to ponies as an individual not a species, so a magic signature is different for each pony" scootaloo finisher her lecture as she gave rarity some pancakes she had been making for breakfast. As soon as she finished her lecture sweetie belle came down stairs asking what they were talking about, scootaloo gave her some pancakes as she explained the conversation on magic signature before getting her own pancakes.
"I must say scootaloo, I would never guess you would now something magic related this deep, I'm impress" rarity said as they ate their breakfast " and your a great cook to, these pancakes taste wonderful" rarity added with a smile while sweetie belle nodded her head excitedly in agreement, hearing their praise over something so simple made scootaloo's cheeks turn red
"Heh thanks it was nothing" she embarrassingly replied
After the three finished breakfast they decided to spend the day together, before they left scootaloo went to the freezer and pulled out a bag filled with a red liquid, this caught sweetie belle's curiousity
"Is that blood" she asked a little freaked out that her friend would keep a bag of blood in a dresser like that
"Yeah, I got it from a pony named scavenger, he's a wondering merchant I met back in my filly days, when I need a blood packet he's my go to man "she said with a fond smile.
"Just how old are you really" rarity asked wondering on how long her filly days were to a vampire
"I was born in this century, I really am eighteen" scootaloo said nonchalantly
"But if that's true then can't your parents get blood for you" sweetie belle asked, curious on why scootaloo would get her blood supplies from a merchant instead of from her family. Hearing this question made scootaloo go silent as she looked down
"Because they don't exist" she said in a soft voice as she looked back at her friend with eyes that held pain and sorrow behind them, hearing this made the two unicorns gasp in shock and they gave their vampire friend a deserved hug, while giving rarity looked around the pegasus home in a new light now that the truth was revealed, she had been living alone since birth and probably didn't afford any of this with out years of hard work, knowing this rarity had now found a deeper respect to the orphaned mare for her acomplishments
After the hug scootaloo went ahead and drank the blood she had momentary forgotten to the last drop
"How long can a vampire last without drinking blood?" Wondered rarity as she winced at her friends drinking
"Some can lay longer than others, I can last two weeks before I need blood to satisfiey the blood lust" scootaloo said wiping the remaining blood from her lips "but I already had my weekly drink" she added
"Then why are you still drinking blood?" Asked sweetie belle wondering on the reason her friend continues to suck blood when she doesn't need to
"When a vampire drinks blood it's to keep the blood lust away and keep us from going feral" explained scootaloo , they nodded so she continued "but any extra blood afterwords gives vampires more power" she finished her lecture.
"Wow, so your going to drink blood everyday until your fight" stated sweetie belle, scootaloo nodded and they walked out.to enjoy their day.
That night rarity and sweetie belle went home after their fun day with each other after scootaloo walked them home, now scootaloo is in a grassy clearing in white tailed woods in her vampire form training her powers and abilities, she first her right hand, fingers splayed forward, then the shadows around her leaped in the direction her hand faced and formed long blade like tentacles before crashing into a tree turning it to shreds, this ability scootaloo calls night shater, a power that allows.the caster to turn shadows into multiple blades that launches at the target.
Next she focused on another tree, she moves her in its direction and bent her fingers inward, the tree was suddenly wrapped in thick tentacle like appendages coming from the shadow around it, scootaloo letter her hand up and the the shadows raised the tree up. This is called shadow bind, it allows the user to grab the target in its shadows, allowing the user to decide on what they want it to do, scootaloo clenched her hand into a fist and the shadow bind tightened its grip to the point the tree broke into pieces. As the pieces fell a larger chunk fell towards scootaloo, seeing this she made a shield appear above her head made completely out of her shadow. This is shadow conjure, a technique that allows the caster to conjure anything out of the shadows around them, this is why scootaloo didn't suffer any damage when the lycan shot it's attack at her.
Once the raining wood is over she used her shadow conjurer and made a werewolf to practice for when she fights the real one, it dashed right at her and tried to slash at her,but she saw it coming and jumped out of range, even though she created it, the fake wolf still acts and fight like a real werewolf, any creatures she creates act like the real ones, this is how she trains most of the time, she ran up to the fake and jumped to deliver a kick to its muzzle, sending the wolf back a bit, they stared each other down a bit, sizing each other up to see what their next move is, at once they charged at each other.
This is how scootaloo trains each night,and she would be training hard.
Her battle with the shadow lycan in shortly approaching.

Time has passed quickly for scootaloo as she prepares for her fight with the shadow lycan, at day she practiced her combat as a mortal by doing a regular work out,she would drink blood during school when she is alone, and at night she works on her powers and her other abilities. This was how her days went by,but now the day for her fight is tonight.
It was the afternoon and scootaloo was using the time to relax with sweetie belle at the park sitting on the bench
"Hey,can I ask you something?" Sweetie bell asked softly
"You just did" scootaloo said with a smirk causing sweetie belle to roll her eyes
"Have you ever have to fight anything like this werewolf things"
"Lycan," scootaloo corrected" and I fought a lot of monsters back in manehatten" she said looking at the families going through the park
"Were you alone the whole time?" Sweetie belle asked worried
"Mostly, but I had some friends that helped sometimes" scootaloo admitted looking back towards her time in manehatten that she had her friends help.
"But I never felt so alone anymore when I moved to ponyville, because of one reason" she said with a small smile on her lips.
"What was it?" Sweetie bell asked with curious eyes on her friend
Scootaloo turned her head to face sweetie belle, her smile growing bigger
"I met you" she said, her smile giving off a sense of genuine happiness. Hearing this made sweetie belle blush slightly with a smile.
"Yeah, I feel the same way, I remember the day we met" sweetie belle said, changing her focus from her friend and towards the sky, scootaloo doing the same.
"Yeah, I'll never forget that day" she said looking at the sky as the clouds went by.
It was now night time and scootaloo was standing at the edge of the everfree forest, waiting for the lycan to appear so that the fight would start. A few minutes latter a unicorn stallion with black fur and deep blue mane and tail.
"So this is your pony form" scootaloo stated with a matter-o-fact tone.
"I see you brought the unicorn that was watching our last encounter" he said eyeing the pony that was standing a few feet behind scootaloo.indeed sweetie belle had come to watch the fight despite scootaloo's objections' "she will be a good desert once I finish with you" he added with a dark smirk on his lips, flashing his canine teeth.
"Your not laying a finger on her you mutt" scootaloo said her eyes turning red.
"Well see" was all the stallion said before he began his transformation,his hands growing bigger and nail growing longer and more sharp on his hands and feet, his whole body growing bigger and more bulky as his skeletal structure morphed, his eyes turning a sickly red a few shades darker than scootaloo's. Scootaloo's cutie mark glowed exactly the same way it did when scootaloo was showing sweetie belle and rarity signaling her transformation.
"Bring it on " scootaloo challenged
The lycan charged and tried to swipe at scootaloo but she dogged by jumping to the left, she then delivered a right hook to the head then a round hose kick to the gut sending the lycan sliding back a few feet, he ran back at her ready for another swipe, she jumped the right to dogged, but just as soon as she did the lycan disappeared and reappeared behind scootaloo and punched her with his left fist sending her soaring about twenty feet away.
(Damn, he faster than I thought) scootaloo Thought as she got back on her feet
"What's wrong, too fast for you?" The lycan taunted
"Heh, I'm just warming up" scootaloo stated before charging back in. She moved more quickly than before and kneed the lycan in the gut and knock the wind out of him, she then punched him in the face knocking him on his back. She then used night shatter, the shadow like blades arched downwards so they would be heading directly towards the shadow lycan, the impact was strong enough to make an explosion of dust.
"Heh, told you" gloated scootaloo. But then, she felt something collide with her back followed by an intense pain, the impact made scootaloo fly through the air and skid on the ground, she stoped right next to sweetie belle who was watching all of this silently.
"Scootaloo!" She shouted worriedly to her friend, she then turned back to see what had caused the sudden attack. When she did her eyes widened as they fell upon the lycan her friend had tried to finish with the latest attack.
"Nice try, but your not the only one with tricks" boasted the lycan as he got ready to fire his shadow blast.
"Scootaloo we have to move get up" sweetie belle said as she tries to shake her friend awake, but scootaloo shows no sign of getting back up.
"Now I'll finish you off and afterwards that unicorn is next!" The lycan shouted as his attack is ready. "I'll be sure to savor her as I listen to her cries for mercy" he added cruelly before he fired his attack. It soared towards the two with great speeds, but to sweetie belle it was moving slow at a point that she had only one thing to say with a tear dropping from her chin to the unconscious scootaloo's cheek.
"Scootaloo!!!" Was all she cried out before the blast had reached then and she closed her eyes, bracing herself for the pain. However, it never came, the only thing she feels is a brief sense of motion and a pair of strong arms carrying her. She opens her still teary eyes and see a face with orange fur and an purple mane, and a pair of red eyes.
"Scootaloo!" Sweetie belle said happily to see her friend is alright. Scootaloo puts her down gently on the ground and looked at her tearerd filled eyes with a caring smile.
"Sweetie belle, I'm gonna finish this fight, so please don't cry anymore" scootaloo said softly as she wipes away the tears in sweetie belle's eyes, all.Sweetie belle did is nod her head with a smile on her face.
"I don't know how you both dodge my attack but the next one will get you for sure" said the lycan as he watches all this before him in a confident tone, but it was soon turned to fear when the vampire turned to face him and he saw her eyes, they were glowing with intense power and anger.
"You dare attack someone that is precious to me" stated scootaloo as she was now glowing with an crimson aura.
"But most of all" she said clenching her fists and the glow intensified, as if responding to the vampire's growing anger.
"You made sweetie belle cry!!!" She yelled with a furious voice. The lycan sensing the danger was about to flee, but before he could even move a claw scootaloo appeared in front of him with her aura still shinning around her.
"For that, your dead!" Announced scootaloo as she punched the lycan with her right glowing fist, the power behind it was intense that the lycan was.sent flying miles away until he hit a massive boulder, making a crack in it with his blood smeared on it as his head hung lifelessly. After a few minutes the glowing around scootaloo disappeared as she relaxed her body.
"Scootaloo that was amazing!" Cheered sweetie belle as she runs up to scootaloo with a big smile on her face " how did you do that glowing thing by the way?" she asked
"Well to be honest I don't know, I just saw you crying because of that lycan and felt really angry, then felt a strange power burst out." Admitted scootaloo as she scratched her head confusedly as she looked at where the lycan was sent towards. She then feels a pair of arms around her and turned her head to see, she sees sweetie belle hugging her as she quietly cries.
"I was so scared, I thought you would die and what that wolf said" she stopped to let out a sob out of her throat. She then feels the other mare hugging her back with both arms and wings.
"I'm not that easy to kill you know, and as long as I still breath I will always protect you" said scootaloo with a caring smile on her face, sweetie belle blushed at hearing that last part but smiled all the same.
"Lets go" scootaloo said softly as she picks sweetie belle up bridal style and flew them both through the night sky with the moon shining on them.
Hearing scootaloo promise to protect her and seeing the pegasus in the moonlight sweetie belle now feels like her friendship with scootaloo has grown deeper.

Two weeks has past since Scootaloo fought the shadow lycan and the mysterious power that aided her victory,and since then sweetie belle has been having confusing thoughts of her vampire friend, every time she sees her she feels her cheeks burn, and when she is away from her Sweetie belle yearns to be by Scootaloo's side. Sweetie belle was walking out of school with her two best friends who were talking about something, she wasn't paying attention as her mind was distracted figuring out her feelings to her pegasus friend. However she did noticed her sister, Rainbow dash and Applejack at the end of the path off school grounds.
"Hi guys what you three doing here?" Sweetie belle asked making Scootaloo and Applebloom look and see the older mares.
"Well you see darlings, some ponies has come to ponyville and it would seem that they were on a q search for something" explained Rarity, hearing this made Scootaloo narrow her eyes.
"Yeah and it was really weird cause they have a lot of weapons like swords, and shields and other stuff." Added rainbow dash, scootaloo knew who these new ponies are and what those weapons were meant, she clenched her hand in irritation as a single thought crossed her mind. Hunters.
"They heard about ponies like those, they might be one of those hunters that go after supernatural creatures" sweetie belle voiced out as if reading scootaloo's mind, this drew curious looks from the other ponies except scootaloo.
"How do y'all know that sweetie belle?" Applebloom asked with a raised eyebrow, sweetie belle looked away from her farmer friend.
"I heard rumors from ponies about it" she answered with out looking at applebloom's direction.
"They sound totally awesome, hunting down evil monsters that no one knows about" said rainbow dash excitedly with an enthusiastic smile, this made rarity scoff at the pegasus.
"Really, you get wild so easily, have you forgotten how brutish they look, I doubt they even have manners" stated.
"Ah have to agree they don't look too friendly." Added applejack with a tip of her hat" which is why we came here, so we could warn ya to try and avoid them if you can" she warned with narrowed eyes.
"Any idea on what they are hunting for anyway?" Asked scootaloo.
"Yeah, apparently they think a vampire is in ponyville and are staying until they kill it" said rainbow dash not even noticing that sweetie belle's eyes had widened.
"If you ask me, if there is a vampire here then I hope those hunters kill it, the town will be better off with out those monsters around." Rainbow dash added also not seeing how scootaloo's whole body tensed as well as rarity and sweetie belle.
"Don't you think that's a bit harsh dash?" applejack asked
"Whatever, you agree with me on this don't you scootaloo?" Rainbow dash asked as she raised her hand to the orange pegasus for a fist bump, still not seeing her discomfort. Scootaloo however, doesn't seem like she was looking by the way her mane shadows her eyes, she walks past the three mares ignoring the outstretched fist.
"I'll see you guys latter" scootaloo said without looking back. This made rainbow dash confused along with applejack and apple bloom, rarity and sweetie belle looked at her with worry of what is going on in her head.
"Scootaloo" sweetie belle whispered low enough to be unheard.
Scootaloo walks through town with no destination as she thinks back to some of her days in manehatten,monster,freak,demon, she heard it all,and yet it seems worse when someone who was like a sister to say it something like that,even though it wasn't directed towards her directly, this is why scootaloo never revealed her secret to anyone in years, it would only cause more pain.
"Its a little weird finding out your a vampire, but your still my best friend" "Quite right darling, you have always put some one else's need before your own, if you have been a vampire this whole time as you say then who are we to judge." Sweetie belle and rarity's words from the night scootaloo revealed herself to them popped into her mind, it made her feel a little better knowing that at least two ponies accepts her. She stopped in front of a building that oddly looks edible, sugarcube corner was the best sweet shop in town, and scootaloo thought she could satisfy her sweet tooth. She stepped inside and stoped at the front counter where an energenic earth pony stood behind. She was light pink with darker pink mane and tail that were puffy with curls, baby blue eyes, she wore a dark pink t-shirt, pink tight jeans, her cutie mark is three ballons, two blue and a yellow in between.
"Hey scoots, what's up" the pink mare asked whith wide smile on her face
"Hey pinkie nothing much, can I have the usual please?" Scootaloo asked
"Sure, I'll have it ready in jiffy" was all she said before rocketing into the kitchen, scootaloo smirked and shook her head at the party pony's energy. She took a seat at a table in the corner to wait for her usual, as she waits she saw four stallions sitting at a table a few feet in front of her, one was a yellow unicorn with brown mane and tail, another was a green earth pony whith large muscles with orange mane and tail, the other two are pegaus with matching red coats, the only difference is one had a yellow mane and tail, and the other had a blue mane and tail, all four of them are wearing matching brown leather armor, the thing that caught scootaloo's attention is their weapons.
'They must be the hunters I was warned about,great' she thought as she did her best to ignore them, that was when pinkie pie came to her table with two milkshakes in her hands, one white the other pink.
"One vanilla milkshake right here" she said handing scootaloo the white milkshake as she sat in the chair in front of scootaloo
"Thanks but what's the strawberry for?" Scootaloo asked indicating the other cup in pinkie's hand
"Oh that's for me, I thought I could join you while I'm on brake" she explained sitting down in the chair in front of scootaloo and took a sip of her strawberry milkshake.
"So do you prefer mares or stallions?" Pinkie asked randomly while scootaloo was drinking her shake, which she just spat out from the surprise of the question.
"Um,mares" scootaloo answered once she regained her composure
"Really, me to!" Pinkie said excitedly
"You have a girlfriend ?" Scootaloo wondered
"Nah, that's latter in the story" pinkie replied
"What story?" Scootaloo asked with a raised eyebrow
"Neither mind that" pinkie said winking at the reader, scootaloo shook her head in amusement at the random pony's antics.
"So you feeling better now?" Pinkie asked with less energy than usual.
"What do you mean?" Scootaloo asked
"You looked kinda down when you got in her." Pinkie said concerned for her friend, not many ponies realise it, but pinkie is capable of being serious when it comes to fer friends and their well beings.
"I'm fine pinkie thanks" scootaloo lied,not wanting to burden the pink mare with her problems.
"Scootaloo, I know your lying." Pinkie said with an amuse smirk on her lips
"No I'm not" scootaloo said defiantly
"Scootaloo, either you tell me, or I force it out of you" said pinkie with a mischievous smile on her lips. Scootaloo was gonna say something back but stoped herself when the stallions she noticed before started to surround four mares, upon further inspection she sees the four mares are rainbow dash, applejack, rarity, and sweetie belle, they probably came here too find her, pinkie pie noticed this as well.
"Hey what's going on over there?" Questioned pinkie pie out loud. There wasn't much ponies in the sweet shop today so the only ponies here are the hunters, scootaloo,pinkie pie and their friends, so it wasn't hard to hear what the stallions were saying.
"Hey, what a bunch of hotties like you four up to?" Questioned the unicorn as him and his friends check out the four mares in front of him.
"We came here because a friend of ours might be here and we were worried" explained rarity a little unease with the way the group of hunters are looking at them.
"Well, how about we help out, and get to know each other a bit better afterwards, if you now what I mean" the pegasus with the blue mane said with a hint of lust in his eyes.
"Thanks but I think we can manage on our own" replied applejack in a harsh tone.
"Um, excuse me" sweetie belle said getting the hunters attention
"Are,you the hunters that are looking for a vampire?" Asked sweetie belle shyly
"Yeah, about two weeks ago a huge amount of vampiric power spiked somewhere near this town" explained the unicorn
"Yeah and once we find it were gonna kill it" said the earth pony , hearing this again made scootaloo clench her teeth in anger to stop her self from shouting out loud at the hunters.
"What if the vampire isn't evil, and that it only used that much power to defend its self?" Sweetie belle asked hoping that her friend would have a chance of being spared if found out.
"Then we'll kill it nicely" joked the yellow named pegasus, making the hunters laugh
"Look, it doesn't matter if a vampire is nice or evil, they are worth a thousand bits, so we'll kill any vampire if it means getting rich" explained the unicorn, hearing this made scootaloo snap and decided to shut them up.
"Besides, not like anyone will miss those blood sucking fear-!" The earth pony was saying until he was interrupted by a kick to the side of his head sending him tumbling to the right of the store, the remaining hunters went to check on him but found that he is unconscious, they turned to see who was responsible, in the place where their friend was stood a lone orange pegasus with purple mane and tail with purple eyes that are filled with anger.
"Scootaloo!" Shouted all four mares
"What the hell scoots, do you know who these guys are?" Asked rainbow dash, worried for the younger pegasus mental state.
"Yeah, they are the hunters you warned me about earlier" said scootaloo, not turning to look at them.
"Why in the world would ya do that if ya knew who they are, that's completely reckless" said applejack with a disbelieving look.
"Who cares about her reasons, she's gonna pay for disrespecting us, let's get her!" Exclaimed the unicorn, the three hunters charged at scootaloo at once. The unicorn drew his sword and made a vertical slash, but scootaloo sidestepped and punched the hunter in the left cheek making him stumble a bit before swinging his sword again horizontally, scootaloo dogged by jumping,the blade passing from underneath, while still in the air scootaloo swung her right leg quickly and gave the unicorn a hard round house kick, the force of the kick sent scootaloo further up in the air while at the same time it sent the unicorn flying through the store's window and outside.
"Woah, I didn't know scoots could fight like this" rainbow said amazed at what the young pegasus can do.
The two pegasus hunters flew towards scootaloo from both sides, they both have spears pointed right at her.
"Oh no, their gonna kill!" Rainbow shouted worried, she opened her wings to save her but was stopped by sweetie belle
"No, she can do this watch" she said not letting the older pegasus get involved.
Just when the hunters were close scootaloo righted herself and kicked off the hunter on the left then the one on her right, using them as living sprinboards to get even higher, she flipped so that her feet made contact with the ceiling, she then sprung from the ceiling and outstretched both arms and open palms as she moved towards the still dazed hunters, she caught them by the necks and slammed them down the floor as she landed, knocking both of them out, when she stood back up the earth pony from earlier had regained his conscious and drew his stone hammer, he rushed at her and swung his hammer down on her.
"Scootaloo!!!" The four older mares screamed thinking that she was dead, but sweetie belle knew better. When the hammer was about make contact scootaloo caught with her left hand, stopping it from crushing her.
"Do you know why I'm In such a bad mood?" Scootaloo asked looking at the other mares watching her in awe
"Its because of ponies like these hunters" she said her voice sounding more firm indicating the hunters.
"And ponies, like you." She said starring straight at rainbow dash making the pegasus confused on what she was talking about.
"You always judge someone for something that's out of their control and what makes them so different" she continued, her free hand clenching tight as she continues.
"But the thing that has me in a foul mood, is that you think that something ponies see as a freak should die just because it exists and not cause it did anything wrong" at this point the aura from when she fought the lycan appeared at her fist.
"And these hunters are even worse, they kill anything that gives them fortune" the glow gets brighter as her anger increases
"Just what the hell gives you the right to decide who should die and who lives!" Her voice rises in volume as she gets close to the end of her speech
"Every living thing has the right to live as they choose!" The hammer above her starts to crack, as if the pressure of scootaloo's rage is crushing it.
"Ponies, vampires, who cares! everything that is a live should be treated equally!" After that statement the hammer broke into dust and pebbles, scootaloo turned around and faced the bigger pony with hate and anger radiating off of her.
"AND ANYONE WHO THINKS THEIR SURPERIOR TO THAT ARE THE REAL MONSTERS!!!" She yelled with all of her anger and hatred as she punched the stallion with her glowing red fist and sent him straight into the wall of the other building outside. After an intense.moment of silence scootaloo sighed as she starts walking outside.
"Sorry about the mess pinkie pie, I left my money on the table for ya." She said raising her hand goodbye with out looking back. As she walked home she heard another set of footsteps behind her, turning around she sees sweetie belle running up to her.
"Hey belle did you need something?"she asked looking at the unicorn before her
"I told rarity that I was gonna spend the night at your place to keep you company" sweetie belle said slightly blushing, scootaloo smiled at her friend's concern.
"Alright then let's go" scootaloo said continuing walking home now with company.
"After you left apple bloom went to see if you were at sweet apple acres while the rest of us went to sugarcube corner, I can call her and see if she wants to join us if you want" sweetie belle offered.
"Nah, it's almost late anyway so let's keep it between us" scootaloo said looking at the sky, seeing it get darker by every minute.
"You know, when you started fighting those hunters, you looked a little scary" sweetie belle said as they continue walking
"But I wasn't frightened, I knew no matter how scarey you can be you'll never hurt me" she finished with a big smile on her face, scootaloo didn't reply, instead she smiled and kept on walking.
Thirty minutes latter scootaloo and sweetie belle made it to scootaloo's home,once inside scootaloo decided to take her shoes and socks off to allow her bare feet to cool as she walked towards the coach.
"So, you feeling better from earlier?" Sweetie belle asked worried that her friend might be depressed for a while.
"A little bit" scootaloo with out facing sweetie belle, hating to see her friend upset sweetie belle thought of how to cheer the pegasus up, and suddenly she got an idea as she wore a mischievous smile, she walked quietly towards the unsuspecting mare until she was close,then she tackled scootaloo too the coach, scootaloo landed with her belly on the couch while sweetie belle sat on her back.
"Hey,what's the big idea!" Demanded scootaloo
"Oh you'll see." Sweetie belle said as she adjust her position on her friend's back so that she was straddling her facing her legs.
"You know, you had me worried when you walked off alone from school," sweetie belle said as she looks back at her friend "and you never said sorry,so you need to be punished." She finished as she reached and grabed scootaloo's left leg and brought it toward herself so that her left foot was facing up wards, she wrapped her right arm around it for a better hold. Realizing what her friend had in mind scootaloo started to struggle out from under sweetie belle,forgetting about using her vampire strength.
"No please! not that, anything but that!" Scootaloo begged as she tries to escape, sweetie belle didn't respond, instead she placed her left hand on the foot and wiggled her fingers against it making scootaloo squeal with laughter as her foot wiggled trying to escape her hold.
"HAHAHAHAH NOHAHAHAHAH STAHAHAHAHHP AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH" scootaloo laughed she she tries futilely to escape this torture
"Tickle tickle tickle" sweetie belle teased, enjoying the sound of her friend's laughter
"PLEHEHEHHS STOHAHAHAHAHAHP IHIHIHIHIHIHIHIT AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH" scootaloo kept laughing as she jerks her leg trying to pull it away
Sweetie belle had another idea and plucked a feather from her friend's wing
"Lets see you handle one of your own feathers" said sweetie belle stroking the feather up and down scootaloo's foot making the pegasus laugh harder
"NO NOAHAHAHT THE FEATHER HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH, AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH I CAN'T TAKE IT HAHAHAHAHAH" scootaloo laughed
"Coochie Coochie coo!" Sweetie belle teased again as she sawed the feather between the pegasus's toes.
NOT MY TOES HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAH, AAAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" beg scootaloo as she bangs her fists and her other leg against the coach. This went on for fifteen minutes, sweetie belle stoped and dropped the feather, giving scootaloo a chance to breath a few minutes.
"And now for the next phase of your punishment," sweetie belle said as she moved scootaloo's foot closer "I wonder how your foot will taste sweetie belle said sticking her tounge out, hearing that last part made scootaloo's eyes widened in horror
"No wait don't pleaaaHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH" she was interrupted by her laughter when sweetie belle started licking her foot
"HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH NO HAHAH NOT THE TONGUE THAT'S WORSE HAHAHAHAHAAHAHA" scootaloo begged laughing her head off. Sweetie belle licked every where from the arch to the toes, she focused more on the toes since that seems to be her weak spot.
"NOT MY TOES HAHAHAHAAHAHA PLEASE ANYWHERE BUT MY TOES HAHAHAHAH" scootaloo kept begging. Sweetie belle repeated the process a with the other foot and finally let scootaloo go
"Your evil" scootaloo said once she got her breath in normal, sweetie belle giggled at this
"Sorry, but I had to cheer you up" she explained, scootaloo smiled and hugged her friend.
"Thanks"
"Besides, your so cute when tickled tourtured" sweetie belle added making scootaloo blush
"Welll I'm not the only one, come here!" She yelled before getting revenge. And so the two friends enjoyed their little tickle fight until they decided to sleep for the night.

chapter 7:half-bloods and bonds
The sun rises to start a new day and morning, this morning was also a first day of a new life for a certain unicorn that was just an inch from death's door. Trixie awoke in a fright of a nightmare, she placed her hand on her neck and felt two small marks confirming that her nightmare was more then that, she is now a vampire just like the pegasus that had helped her in her time of need. Just then Scootaloo walked inside the room and sees Trixie awake.
"Glad to see your awake." Scootaloo said with a friendly smile
"How long was I out?" Trixie asked
"About three days." Scootaloo answered sitting on the bed next to Trixie
"I was out for three days!?" Trixie yelled in shock
"Yeah, but that was mostly because of the poison," Scootaloo explained " what do you remember?" she asked concern in her eyes
"The whole fight between you and the lizards." Trixie said recalling what she remembered before passing out.
"Well, if you remember that much then we can go on to important matters of your new life as a half-blood." Scootaloo said as she walked to the window and closed the curtens and blocking the light.
"Half-blood?" Trixie repeated questionly wanting to know what that entails.
"Half-blood, ponies who were turned into vampires, you need blood less than purebloods like me so when you do drink blood you get more power, however it's only temporary." Scootaloo explained while she leans against the wall.
"Okay,so what important matters do we have to go over?" Trixie asked as feels her hangs in her mouth.
"That's another fact about half-bloods, when a pureblood turns a pony into a vampire they must follow a procedure that would strip that pony from their free will, turning them into a puppet,however we skipped that part so you can still act as you normally would." Enlightened Scootaloo.
"Okay." Trixie said understanding so far.
"So I need you to drink my blood, that would still form the blood bond" Scootaloo said moving her wrist towards Trixie.
"What?!" Trixie yelled, surprised of what the Pegasus is asking her to do.
"If you drink from any other pureblood they will make you their slave,but drink from my blood then you will be your own mare, trust me Trixie you only need to drink once." Scootaloo said trying to convince the unsure half-blood that it was the best way.
"How do I do it?" Trixie asked grabbing the pureblood's wrist.
"Just let your vampire instincts guide you through it." Scootaloo encouraged preparing herself. Trixie closed her eyes and brought her face closer to Scootaloo's hand, once close enough her fangs pierced the skin and she started drinking the blood, after what felt like minutes she pulled back, drops of leftover blood hang from her mouth.
"Its... done." Scootaloo said between breaths not looking too well.
"Are okay, I didn't take too much did I?" Trixie asked worried for the young mare.
"No, I'm still recovering from when I took the poison when I was turning you," Scootaloo explained "anyway we should start your training now."
And so they trained, Scootaloo would teach some of her techniques and how to fight every other day since they had made the blood bond. The two of them had just stoped their training on crimson arc and are now enjoying dinner.
"Your training as a vampire is going pretty smoothly." Scootaloo commented before drinking her soda.
"Thank mistress." Trixie said, causing Scootaloo to almost choke her drink.
"What?" Scootaloo asked after she composed herself.
"Well,since you allowed me to live here and you helping me, I decided that you are my mistress." Trixie explained proudly which made Scootaloo blush.
"That's okay you don't need to do that." Scootaloo said in hopes of changing the other mare's mind.
"No I insist." Trixie replied stubbornly, before anything else was said the sound of knocking was heard.
"Coming!" Scootaloo yelled as she walks to the door,when she opens the door it revealed Sweetie Belle and Rarity.
"Hey guys what's up?" Scootaloo greeted as she lets the unicorn sisters inside.
"Us and the girls are having a pi-" Rarity said until she sees Trixie in the house eating at the table"well this a surprise."
Scootaloo explained everything about how she found the mare and everything afterwards. After her explanation Rarity and Sweetie Belle looked at Trixie with sympathy in their eyes.
"Well, I'm sorry to hear this dear,your more than welcome at my boutique anytime." Rarity said and Sweetie Belle nodded in agreement.
"Thank you." Trixie said simply with a grateful smile.
"So what was it you were saying earlier Rarity?" Scootaloo said reminding the two of their visit.
"Oh right, us and the others are having a picnic tommorow and I was wondering if you were interested, you can come to Trixie." Rarity said with a smile on her face.
"We love to,thanks." Scootaloo replied thankfully
"Perfect I'll see you two then." Rarity said as she and Sweetie Belle walked out,but before Sweetie Belle closed the door Scootaloo grabbed Sweetie Belle's attention.
"Hey Sweetie Belle, are you busy tonight?" Scootaloo asked a little nervously
"Not really why?" Sweetie Belle asked curiously tilting her head.
"I was wondering if you would go out with me tonight." Scootaloo said scratching her cheek with a finger.
"Like a date?" Sweetie Belle asked with a blush on her cheeks.
"Yeah like a date." Scootaloo said with a blush of her own.
"Sure,what time?" Sweetie Belle asked calmly on the inside,but on the inside she is jumping in joy over the moon.
"How's eight sound?" Scootaloo asked trying to keep her excitement from going crazy.
"That's perfect I'll see you then." Sweetie Belle said with a big smile.
"You should probably go,your sis looks like she's gonna burst." Scootaloo joked,pointing towards the older sister,Sweetie Belle looks and sees that Rarity is trying all her might to not ruin their little moment.
"I'll see you then." Sweetie Belle said before she and her sister began the walk home,the former with a spring in her step.
"So Trixie, how about we finish training with a spar?" Scootaloo suggested as she closed the door and walked to the basement.
"Lets make it a short one,that way you can get ready for your date." Trixie said as she follows Scootaloo for their spar. The two vampires spared for about a good few hours until six o'clock,Scootaloo took a thirty minutes shower and another twenty minutes to choose her clothing,thanks to Trixie she managed an outfit quickly for the date, they decided a purple tank top under a faux leather jacket,blue jeans, and black shoes.
"Hey, Scootaloo can I ask you something?" Trixie asked nervously, hearing her roommate use her name instead of mistress got Scootaloo's attention quick.
"Sure what's wrong?" Scootaloo asked looking towards the other mare.
"When we go to the picnic, do you think the others would accept me like Rarity has?" Trixie asked looking away from the orange pegasus.
"Well,they haven't forgotten the last time they saw you,so some angry words would be expected." Scootaloo said thinking back on how much a stubborn pegasus she knows likes to hold grudges.
"What if they use more than words?" Trixie asked clenching her hands as tears start to flow on her cheeks. She felt a hand move her head up to see purple eyes with determination and kindness with in them.
"Listen,we made the blood bond between us, so we're a team now and I won't let anyone hurt my teammate no matter what." Scootaloo said with a voice that tells Trixie that she is determine to keep those words true, hearing this Trixie hugged the other mare,which returns the hug. The two now are at the the front door,one of the two outside ready to leave.
"I'll be going now, I'll be back latter." Scootaloo said as she walks off.
"Have fun and be careful of lizards." Trixie said jokingly making the leaving mare Laugh a little.
"Oh I almost forgot, I left a little something in your closet." Scootaloo said before walking even further.
Scootaloo knocks on the front door of Carasal Boutique,waiting for her date to answer,five minutes latter and Sweetie Belle opened the door to greet her date, Sweetie Belle is wearing a light blue dress with amethyst gems dotting around the waist line, her skirt is a deep purple,black heels and diamond earrings.
"Wow Sweetie Belle, I can't remember the last time I've seen you this beautiful." Scootaloo commented with a blush.
"Thanks,you look great as well." Sweetie Belle said with a blush on her face as well.
"Well,let's get this date started shall we." Scootaloo offered her hand as she speaks, Sweetie Belle took her hand and the two walked of for their first date. The two walked until they made it to a restaurant, they entered and was waited to a table where a waitress took their orders, now the two are waiting for their food and decided to start a conversation.
"So, when did you get that jacket?" Sweetie Belle started off awkwardly,not entirely sure on any other topic.
"Actualy I had for a while I just didn't have a reason to wear it till now." Scootaloo smiled sheepishly while rubbing her neck.
"Well you should wear it more often, it suits you nicely." Sweetie Belle had a blush on her cheeks while she looks at the pegasus in front of her.
"Thanks." The waitress returned to their table and gave them their food before walking away,the two ponies enjoyed their meal together while they talk like the close friends they are,and maybe they will get even closer. After Scootaloo paid the bill for both meals the two mares decided to go on a walk through the park on one of the pathways.
"So how's Trixie doing?" Sweetie Belle had been curious on the show mare ever since she saw her again and what she heard of what happened recently.
"Well her trainning is going pretty well these past few days as a vampire,she managed to learn some vampire magic easily due to being a unicorn, right now she's working on the crimson arc technique." Scootaloo praised feeling pride that was able to be such a good teacher.
"Well that's good,but what about on the inside?" Scootaloo's expression turned saddened as she answers.
"Its clear that her life had been hell ever since the alicorn amulet incident,I hope I can help her with this new life." Scootaloo felt pressure on her right arm, looking to the cause she sees that Sweetie Belle had linked her arms around it.
"I'm sure you can, and I think it's sweet that your doing this for her." Scootaloo smiled and the two walked in a comfortable silence,feeling the sweet feeling of just being together.
"Aww,how sweet." A mysterious voice mocked from behind the two mares causing them to jump,when they turned around they see a unicorn mare, she has pink fur, a red mane that stops at the middle of her back,and a red tail, she has dark purple eyes that by the looks of them holds a great deal of lust,her clothes are a simple black shirt that reveals her chest a little, tight jeans,and red shoes.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt, but I have some business with you hon." She said pointing at Scootaloo.
"What do you want?" Scootaloo got ready in a fighting position in case the mysterious women attacks.
"First,I am known as Lust,a pleasure to meet you, Scootaloo." Lust said with a bow, Scootaloo was caught off guard that this mare already knows her name.
"How do you know my name." She demanded, now very cautious of this strange mare before her.
"I know more than your name, I also know a little bit of your past,Night Wing ." At the sound of that name Scootaloo growled aggressively at lust, Sweetie Belle was confused as to what they were talking about.
"I don't know how you have this much information on me,but I no longer go by that name." Scootaloo was even more cautious of this mare.
"Of course,but I didn't come here to bring back buried memories, you ruined a candidate for an important project my associates and I are working on," Lust said in a displeased tone " You even killed three of our experiments when they came for her." Suddenly the memory of the lizard ponies flashed through Scootaloo's mind.
"Its Trixie isn't it, you sent those lizards to kidnap her." Scootaloo said with narrowed eyes.
"Very good, the rumors about you are as accurate as you are cute." Lust praised as she looks at the vampire with lust filled eyes.
"I see, your a succubus." This made Lust smile even bigger, suddenly a pair of large leather wings sprouted from her back and she grew a long tail with a spade as the tip.
"You really are interesting pony Scootaloo, what gave me away?" Lust was intrigued how this vampire had seen through her pony form.
"I have a friend that's a succubis, so I know what a succubis feels like when I'm sensing them." Scootaloo said not once letting her guard down, 'but for some reason this one feels odd, like there's more to it' she thought.
"I heard about those, they seduce stallions into being their sex slaves to be stronger." Sweetie Belle added in after being silent so long.
"That's only for the common ones, there are also some rare succubi who target the same sex." Scootaloo added in.
"Yes and I'm one of them,anyway let's get back to business,you ruined our plans when you turned Lulamoon into a vampire, and my boss sent me to make an offer." Lust said, getting back to her purpose of coming to them.
"What offer?" Scootaloo was curious to what other the succubis had in mind.
"Join us,or die." Lust said simply.
"I choose the third option." Scootaloo using her vampire speed ran towards Lust and punched her across her face,she stumbled back from the pain the punch had inflected. "Kicking your ass." Scootaloo transformed into her vampire form and got ready to fight.
"You little brat, you'll pay for harming this face." Lust said with an angry sneer, she extended her nails into long sharp claws,she charged with her hand ready for a slash across Scootaloo's face, Scootaloo ducked and sweep kick Lust's legs, the momentum from her charge made it so she would trip a few feet,before she hit the ground she flapped her wings and ascended to the air.
"Nice reflex,but you'll need more than that to beat me." Lust charged for another attack,faster than in the air Scootaloo barely dogged a swipe from the succubis claws,only getting a small cut on her left arm.
"What's wrong,too fast for you?" Lust mocked as she started to fly faster as she attacked more, Scootaloo managed to avoid any fatal blows from the flurry of attacks,but she still suffered some damaged and started to bleed from some of her wounds.
"Guess your not as tough as you thou-." Lust was interrupted by the feeling of electricity running through her body making her wings go stiff and crash on the ground, she looked up and notice Scootaloo's right hand has small streams of red electricity.
"You were saying." Scootaloo mocked, she charged towards the succubis and delivered a right hook followed by a kick towards the stomach making Lust breathless as she was sent sliding on the ground, Scootaloo then used night shatter to try and end the fight,however Lust was quick enough to dodge,but still got a cut that some blood came out.
'What's going on, Scootaloo is faster than this, something is wrong' Sweetie Belle thought as she watched the fight from behind a tree, 'and her wounds aren't healing as fast as they normally should'. True to this fact Scootaloo's wounds aren't healing as fast as normal for a vampire. Scootaloo suddenly dropped down to one knee as she pants heavily, 'Damn it, I don't think I can keep this up anymore'. Scootaloo thought as she sees the her opponent rise back into the air.
"Looks like your out of steam, it's time I finish this." Lust charged towards the weaken vampire, ready to strike the final blow, Scootaloo clenched her eyes close preparing for her death. Suddenly a bolt of crimson lightning zipped out of no where and struck Lust, sending her away from the the now saved pegasus.
'Crimson arc, but how?' As if triggered by that thought a large puff of smoke appeared between the vampire and succubis.
"You dare attack my mistress and her date, you shall feel my wrath," said a familiar voice as the smoke clears to reveal a certain show mare," for I am the Great and Powerful, Trixie!" Trixie shouts as she stuck her signature pose with her coat and hat, they were both purple with yellow and blue stars, the cape was held together by a red gem that looks like a ruby.
"What are you doing here Trixie?" Scootaloo asked as she struggles to get back on her feet.
"I had an odd feeling that I was needed and it led me here,guess I see what it was." Trixie glanced back to Scootaloo seeing her so weak, "That poison must be strong to effect you like this." Trixie looked back at the mare that stands in front of her.
"The poison was probably designed to harm vampires. " Scootaloo enlightens as she managed to stand back up.
"Let me handle this, you need to rest." Trixie said in a voice that made clear it wasn't a request.
"No, let me help you." Scootaloo wasnt willing to let her new friend to fight this battle alone and possibly be killed.
"All you've done is help me,this time let me help you,please." Scootaloo can see the mare's determination in her eyes,she smirked and stepped back.
"Alright,take this mare down!" Scootaloo encouraged, Trixie smiled and got into a fighting position.
"Haha, do you really think that a half-blood can beat me." Lust mocked with a cocky smirk, this only made Trixie more determined to fight.
"I'm more than enough to beat you!" And with that Trixie made the first move,she ran with her new vampire speed and punched Lust in her stomach,she then uppercuted her,sending Lust into the air,her days training with Scootaloo has made her improve at fighting.
"And now for a little magic display." Trixie used Night shatter and sent four shadow like blades at Lust, all four made their mark and pierced her through her stomach, making Lust's body go motionless and limb.
"Not bad for my real fight." Trixie said to herself after she put the body down on the ground, she began to walk away until she heard the sound of laughing, when she turned around she saw Lust standing,she can see the wounds healing as black smoke came out of each of them.
"Not bad for a half-blood," Lust cracked her neck to relieve stress from it, "but as you can see it takes more than that to keep me down." Lust extends her nails back into claws.
"I kill you then I'll kill your mistress and her madefriend."
A few minutes before.
While Lust is busy Sweetie Belle came to Scootaloo's side to support her from collapsing, when she saw her injuries up close it made Sweetie Belle worry more.
"Are you okay,why aren't you healing so slowly." Sweetie Belle has a lot of worry in her voice.
"I think it's because of something in the poison that's weakening my vampire powers." Scootaloo said in a heavy breath, she looks like she could pass out any second.
"What if you drank some blood,would that help?" Sweetie Belle wonders in hope of a way for her long time friend to get better.
"That might give me a boost for a little bit,but I don't have any blood packs with me." Sweetie Belle narrowed her eyes and moved the head to reveal her neck.
Then take my blood." Sweetie Belle said in a determined voice, surprising Scootaloo.
"What,are you sure?" Scootaloo asked looking at Sweetie Belle with a cautious look.
"Of course, if it means helping you then I'll will do anything." Sweetie Belle said with a smile on her face, seeing that smile made Scootaloo smile a tiny bit.
"Alright,I'll be as gentle as I can." Scootaloo moved closer to Sweetie Belle, she moved her arms around Sweetie Belle's back and sank her fangs in to suck her blood,while she did this Sweetie Belle wrapped her arms around Scootaloo's neck eyes closed. With their position it almost looked like they are kissing. A few seconds and Scootaloo pulled away, Sweetie Belle did to and now are looking into each other's eyes.
"That didn't hurt at all." Sweetie Belle commented.
"Told you I'd be gentle." Scootaloo smirked. They were both then alerted to the sound of flesh being pierced and both loomed to see Trixie as she puts down the seemingly dead Lust who looked to be impaled. Scootaloo was about to congratulate her until she heard the sound of laughter from the mare they thought dead.
"Not bad for a half-blood,but as you can see it takes more than that to keep me sown." Lust extended her nails back into claws.
"I'll kill you,then I'll kill your mistress and her marefriend!" After hearing that last remark Scootaloo moved to action, with a strong flap of her wings Scootaloo dashed towards Lust faster than anyone could see. Just when Lust was about to strike she was intercepted by Scootaloo punching her across the face,power of her punch combined with the speed she used had made an devastating impact on Lust that she flew ten feet away before hitting the ground, when she got back up she was surrounded by ten lighting bolts floating in the air.
"Like my little trick." Trixie said standing next to Scootaloo,her gem glowing brightly.
"How can a half-blood do this,you shouldn't have this much power." Lust was now worried about her position in this fight.
"Normaly yes, but thanks to this gem my mistress gave me I have more power for a longer periods of time." She elaborated with a cocky smirk.
"I don't know who your working for Lust, but no one threatens my mare and gets a away with it." Scootaloo threats with contained anger in her voice.
"This isn't over yet,well meet again." With that Lust lit her horn and teleported,leaving the three mares In silence. Trixie canceled her magic and her gem stoped glowing, Scootaloo went back to her pony form,but after she did she almost collapsed had Sweetie Belle not been there to catch her.
"Are you okay?" Scootaloo nodded as she found her balance.
"Yeah,I'll be fine by tomorrow,we should get you home now." Sweetie Belle nodded and the couple headed back to Carasoel Boutique,with a plus one trailing behind them. Some time latter they made it back and are now getting ready to say good night.
"So,tonight's been eventful for a first date." Scootaloo said awkwardly.
"Scootaloo,what you said to Lust about me being your mare,did you mean it?" Sweetie Belle was looking down at the path way as she asked,until a finger lifts her chin up to face a smiling Scootaloo.
"I meant every word of it." She said softly, the two friends moved their heads closer to each other slowly as they looked deeply into each other's eyes, then their lips meet in a kiss,the feeling of each other sent a wave of feelings through their bodies, they both pulled back,both with a big smile on their faces.
"Good night." Scootaloo said quietly, Sweetie Belle just nodded her head, still wrapped up in the kiss to speak before going inside for the night. Scootaloo with her smile still on her face stayed right in front of the door a more moments until she snapped out of her daze by the sound of clapping.
"That was beautiful,you two are so cute like that." Trixie cheered eliciting a blush on Scootaloo's face.
"Yeah yeah,let's head home before something crazy happens again." Scootaloo began walking home with her roommate next to her.
"So how's the gift I gave you?" Scootaloo wondered looking at the gem in Trixie's cape.
"Its wonderful,thank you." Trixie flashed a grateful smile towards the other mare. The two vampires continued their walk home to rest up for the night. As they walk they never noticed a pair of red eyes watching them.
"Their you are Night Wing." The eyes owner said before disappearing with out a trace.

Chapter 8: A picnic with old grudges
Scootaloo tossed and turned in her bed as she sleeps, she then suddenly awoke in a fright. She looked out her window to see that it was morning,she remembers the picnic was today and got up to get ready for the day. Once she left the bathroom she entered the kitchen for breakfast,she was surprised to see pancakes and orange juice on the table already, She looked around to notice that Trixie was also in the room.
"Did you do this?" Scootaloo gestured to the table of steaming pancakes.
"Of course,it Is my duty to prepare meals for my mistress." Trixie said proudly,which made Scootaloo shake her head and set down to eat. When she took a bite she was surprised by the taste of it.
"Wow Trix, this taste great!" Scootaloo continued to happily eat the meal that her roommate had made herself.
"Thank you,I learned to cook back when I was traveling as a show mare so I wouldn't starve." Trixie proudly said as she ate her meal as well. When both mares finished breakfast they headed out and walked to town.
"So where is the picnic going to be at?" Trixie wondered as the two of them walked through town, doing her best to ignore the looks she's getting from the town's ponies.
"I don't know, that's why we're going to Carasal Boutique,so we can go there with Sweetie Belle and Rarity." Scootaloo said as she walks down the street with the clothing store up ahead.
"You sure it's not so you can see your marefriend again?" Trixie teased as they approached the front door and knocked.
"Shut up!" Scootaloo yelled with red cheeks as they wait for the door to open. Five minutes latter and the door openned to reveal Rarity.
"Well hello you two,what brings you all the way out here?" Rarity asked politely as she lets the two in.
"We figured we could go to the picnic with you and Sweetie Belle." Scootaloosaid as she looked at all the new clothing, even though she wasn't interested in fancy clothing,the ones Rarity make always catches her eyes.
"I'm sure Sweetie Belle would love that." Scootaloo could feel the smirk that Rarity is making. While she wasn't looking a shadow of a mare crept slowly towards Scootaloo,it outstretched it's limbs slowly as if it was gonna pounce on the unsuspecting mare. It was just a couple inches away from its pray,it was ready to make the kil-.
"What are you doing Sweetie Belle?" Scootaloo asked without turning to look behind,if she did she would see her marefriend standing still with her arms over her head.
"Oh,nothing." Sweetie Belle said innocently as she tries to ignore the tint of red in her cheeks. Scootaloo shook her head with an amused smile as she turned and walked up her to give a little peck on the lips as she wraps her hands around Sweetie Belle's hips to pull her closer.
"You know I can sense a pony's signature right?" Scootaloo reminded as she looks at the other mare in the eyes lovingly.
"I know,but do you have to all the time? It's no fun to sneak up on you." Sweetie Belle pouredx, making herself more cute in Scootaloo's eyes.
"Yes I do,especially after last night." Scootaloo said remembering the encounter she had with the succubis named lust. When Scootaloo came home from dropping Sweetie Belle off she had to find and antidote to the poison,ounce the antidote kicked in all of Scootaloo's wounds healed up by the time she woke up this morning.
"If you two love birds are ready we should head out before were late." Rarity teased as she and Trixie stood in front of the door. Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle both blush at the teasing and separated to leave,but they still hold hands as they did so.
The four mares walked through town as they made their way to the meeting spot of the picnic, Rarity and Trixie walked in the lead while Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle held up the rear. About twenty minutes of walking the four mares had finally made it to the meeting spot, it was a hill that over looked the town with a large tree. They seemed to be the last to arrive as all of the others were already there. Applebloom was helping her sister with arranging the food out of the basket, Rainbow dash was laying on the grass with her usual sunglasses, a yellow pegasus with long pink mane and tail in a dark yellow sweater with a purple skirt that stopped just below her knees, she wore green flats n her feet, she seemed preoccupied with a fussy rabbit. Sitting in the shade of the tree reading a book was a lavender alicorn mare, she wore a dark purple bottom up shirt,light blue jeans,and black tennis shoes. Pinkie Pie was just bouncing in excitement like she always does.
"Hello everyone!" Rarity greeted loudly, getting the group of friend's attention. When they looked towards the approaching mare to return the greeting they froze in shock with eyes as they spotted the pony they haven't seen in a long time, they were never expecting to see Trixie. Each of them had similar expressions of confusion and anger, Rainbow Dash was the first speak up.
"What is she doing here?" She growled as she glared daggers towards to blue unicorn mare, Scootaloo stepped in front of Trixie and gave Rainbow a glare of her own.
"She's with me Rainbow." Scootaloo said in a defiant tone. This seems to only make the rainbow named pegasus angrier.
"Did you forget what happened last time she was here,or the time before that?" Trixie cringed at that,remembering how terrible she was back then. Scootaloo didn't hesitate with her response like it didn't matter to her.
"I remember a magician trying to put on a show but was rudely interrupted by three certain mares, remember that?" Rainbow, Applejack,and Rarity cringed at that.
"I also remember that same magician was being possessed by a curse amulet because she was alone and her sorrow and hate getting the best of her." Scootaloo's voice was firm as she spoke and walked closer to the five, she stopped when she was halfway across from them, her expression softened as well as her voice.
"I know you guys had some bad experiences with her in the past and I can't stop you from being upset,all I ask is you give her one last chance." The mares infront of her seemed surprised at her words of the mare that nearly destroyed their home twice. Twilight was the first to speak as she stood up and walked infront of her friends.
"I agree with you Scootaloo, Trixie should be given a chance of redemption,right girls?" She turned around to see what her friends think on the matter.
"Ah guess we could giver her a second chance, right Applebloom?" She looked towards her sister.
"If Scoots is okay with her then ah could too." Scootaloo gave her a thankful nod, she looked towards Fluttershy to see her response, the yellow pegasus ducked her head behind her mane under Scootaloo's eyes.
"I-Its alright with m-me." She meekly replied, she squeaked when Pinkie started to yell.
"You know my answer!" She then began rambling on about random nonsense. The last pony to speak was Rainbow Dash, her glare didn't change all that much.
"I still don't trust her,but whatever." She turned away to avoid eye contact. Scootaloo rolled her eyes as she turned back to the blue unicorn she lives with.
"Now we got that over with,let's get this picnic started!" She yelled cheerfully while fist pumping the air, some expressed their enthusiasm a little less than she did. The ten mares begun to have their picnic,even though they weren't expecting a tenth member the Apple sisters still packed enough food for everyone. Even though the picnic looks well,the atmosphere among the group gives a hint of awkwardness as Trixie attempts to make amends, Scootaloo noticed that although they said they would give her a chance,some are more hesitant than others. It will take a long time for everyone here to get past their differences, but not impossiple.
"Is this seat taken?" Scootaloo turned to see Rarity standing next to her under the tree, Scootaloo smiled and patted the empty spot next to her.
"Nah,go ahead." Rarity nodded as she sat down, the two mares sat down in silence for what felt like hours,until Rarity decided to speak.
"Thank you." Scootaloo looked at the older mare puzzled.
"For what?" Scootaloo tilted her head in question.
"For protecting my sister from that strange mare, her name was Lust right?"
"Yeah,but I have this feeling I'm gonna run into her again one day." Scootaloo looked towards Sweetie Belle as she talks with Applebloom about something, she turned to see that Trixie and Twilight were talking about a what she could guess an interesting subject.
"I wasn't at my full power,if Trixie hadn't shown up like she did then we would have been as good as dead."
"Speaking of Trixie, she seems to be doing better than I expect with the others."
Rainbow Dash flew down from a cloud she had been laying on the past hour.
"Alright Trixie something been bugging me, why did you come to Ponyville?" Trixie nervously looked towards Scootaloo, she gave her a calming smile and nod. Trixie took a deep breath and began her story.
"I didn't mean to come back here, see, there were these stallions who wanted me for something and when I refused they tried to take me by force." Trixie subconsciously clenched her hands as she talks. "I tried to escape them but when I was distracted I had crashed my caravan through some woods and crashed into a tree. I was badly hurt, and before I knew it I was surrounded by wolves." The ponies listening to her tale gasped at that part.
"How did you escape?" Twilight asked as she listened intently, the question made Trixie smile a bit and gave a small laugh.
"I didn't, it was Scootaloo who had saved me from them and she even took me in to her home, if it weren't for her I would have died." Trixie finished so as not to mention of the lizard ponies and Scootaloo being a vampire.
"Figures, you ended up in a dangerous situation and you needed someone to save you." Rainbow Dash said with a mocking smirk." I guess your not as great as you thougt." Scootaloo stood up and angrily walked towards the Rainbow hired big mouth.
"You have some nerve talking to her like that after what she just told you." Rainbow Dash just shrugged her shoulder.
"All I'm saying is that maybe those stallions were after her because of that big mou-" she never finished that sentence as Scootaloo punched her across the face, only hard enough to make her tumble to the ground. Rainbow Dash looked up with a stunned expression on her face as she looks at the younger mare's glare, her shock soon turned to anger as she stood back up and spread her wings aggressively.
"What the hell?!"
"With how you act it's clear on why your not a Wonderbolt yet, I guess they know how much of a jerk you are." This made Rainbow Dash even more angry as she starts to clench her teeth.
"You don't have any right to say that, I will be a Wonderbolt!"
"I doubt it with how much of a foal you are!" At that Rainbow Dash charged at Scootaloo with her fist ready to, Scootaloo did the same. Both mares were almost about to collide but was interrupted by a lavender aura around Rainbow Dash and Sweetie Belle standing infront of Scootaloo.
"Both of you need to cool it." Twilight sternly said as she looks at both mares, "both of you apologize." She let go of Rainbow Dash and let her stand on that spot when she seemed calm enough.
"Please calm down Scoots, I don't want to see you so worked up like this." Sweetie Belle gently said as she places a hand on Scootaloo's cheek, this seemed to help as Scootaloo relaxed her body and places her hand on top of Sweetie Belle's.
"I'm sorry Sweetie Belle,but I refuse to say sorry to that stubborn mare." With that Scootaloo left and walked down towards her house alone.
"Yeah whatever." Rainbow Dash muttered quietly before taking off in the opposite direction, leaving a rainbow trail behind her. Sweetie Belle was about to go after her marefriend but was stopped by Rarity.
"I think it's best we give her some space for a while." She advised as she watches the orange pegasus leaving.
It was night time when Scootaloo decided to walk through the forest behind her house,she was having trouble relaxing at home after her argument with Rainbow Dash,no matter how much she tries she can't seem to stop herself from being more angry about it. Her growing anger is making her want to do some damage on something. She suddenly heard the sound of metal slicing through air, by instinct she dive-rolls to the side. Two spears both struck the spot she previously stood, on a closer look they appear to have some yellow markings on them,Scootaloo instantly recognize them as runes.
"Not bad, you definitely are quite skilled." A familiar voice said behind the trees in front of Scootaloo. A yellow unicorn with a brown mane and tail walked out into view.
"You again?" Scootaloo asked in annoyance. From above the two pegasus stallions had flown down and retrieve their spears.
"Allow us to introduce ourselves, my name is Raiden." The unicorn introduced.
"My name is Twist." The blue mane pegasus introduced.
"And I'm his twin Gale." The yellow maned pegasus introduced as he and his brother positioned their spears to be pointing right at her.
"We know your a vampire, that power we felt from fighting you matched the energy spike that lead us here." Raiden said with a casual smirk. "Now that we know your identity we will kill you for a large profit." Scootaloo got into a fighting stance as she turned into her vampire form, no reason to hold back when they know the truth. However something caught her attention.
"Where's that hammer guy?" The large green stallion didn't show himself along these three for some reason. This only made Raiden smirk even more.
"You mean Boulder? he's around, he would never miss a chance for payback." As soon as those words left his mouth Scootaloo felt an incredible amount of pain on her right half, she felt her self flying without her wings before crashing into a tree,the impact left her breathless as she fell to the ground,revealing a large crack where she hit the tree, when she lifted her head she saw the big green stallion with an iron hammer. He was positions himself for a sneak attack while her attention were on the other three. Scootaloo felt even angrier than she was earlier because of how dumb she was, she should have known they were stalling for Boulder to sneak up on her. All of her frustration and anger is becoming to much for Scootaloo, something with in her has snapped.
"Nice work Boulder, I thought she would put up a better fight but I guess she's not as tough as we thought." Raiden gloated as he sees that Scootaloo didn't get back up or even move.
"Yeah, and they say that vampires are really strong,this one didn't even last long like she did last time." Gale added in. Suddenly the four hunters heard the sound of laughing, they looked around for the source only to find that it was the assumed defeated vampire that was laughing .
"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be such a disappointment." Her voiced seemed to have developed an echoing sound when she talks. She slowly stands back up but still as her head low.
"But now that I'm free I'll be more than happy to meet your expectations!" She exclaimed as she snaps her head up, the whites of her eyes had changed in a dark black void where the only color in them are her crimson slotted pupils. Seeing those eyes had made the hunters step back from her, but that became point less as she suddenly appeared close to Boulder,she was so fast that they almost though she teleported.
"I think I'll start with you." Scootaloo punched Boulder in the chest, the sound of cracking could be heard as he flew twenty feet before Scootaloo rushed ahead of him so she could intercept his flight path by punching straight down on his face,this made Boulder bounce once on the ground befor stopping, a large amount of blood spilled out forming a red puddle around his head.
"One down,three to go." Hearing this made the remaining hunters to draw their weapons to fight, the runes on the twins spears glowed before streaks of lightning shot out from the tip of the spears. Scootaloo used Shadow Conjuer to create a shield to block the attack,when the Lightning stopped the shield disappeared,along with the one who created it.
"Not bad,bout not good enough." By the time the twins turned around it was already too late, Scootaloo had summoned crimson night and sliced the twins in half with one swing,even the sword had switched colors,where its normal black blade with red outline is now red with black outlines. Seeing how quickly his teammates had been dealt with Raiden now stands still in total fear of the mare,no,this demon before him.
"I would normally play around with you guys first,but unfortunately I have a few minuets before I go back,oh well." With that Scootaloo instantly thrust crimson night through Raiden's chest. That makes four ponies dead tonight, Scootaloo looked up into the night sky with a small frown on her face.
"You can't lock me up forever." She began to walk away out of the woods.
"One day you will have no choice but to relie on my power,Scootaloo." The vampire continued the walk in silence. By the time she goes to sleep she would be back to being a prisoner.
However,her chains has now weakened.

Chapter 9: New girl,old friend
Black,that is all Scootaloo could see in the endless void of darkness. She walks for what felt like eternity until she spoted a full body mirror. When she walks infront of it the image she saw wasn't her reflection. It's fur and mane were darker, it had leather wings like bats, its eyes were black with red slitted pupils.
"Hello,Scootaloo.".It greeted in her voice but more echoey.
"Who are you? She asked the thing in the mirror,it laughed at her as if she had told a good joke.
"I'm you of course,well an old part of you but still."That rose an eyebrow from Scootaloo. Just was that suppose to mean? Just before she was about to ask another question the mirror began to crack.
"Looks like we'll have to finish this another time."It said not even being fazed by the cracks in the glass surface. The void began to shake like an earthquake,Scootaloo was having a hard time keeping her balance.
"Wait,I'm not done,who are?" The cracks on the mirror grew larger as the void shook more violently.
"I'd love to indulge your curiosity but we simply don't have the time, so I leave you clue." The image from the mirror leaned forward,Scootaloo almost thought that it actually was leaning out of the slowly breaking mirror.
"Memmory is the key."The mirror broke.
Scootaloo jolted upright in her bed,her clock read 6:00am. It was a dream, and yet it felt so real to her. Her head was swarming with questions. What was that dream about? Who was that thing in the mirror?
"And what the hell did memory is the key suppose to mean?!" She yelled frustrated at the empty room. Knowing the answer won't come to her anytime soon she got up and took a shower, after about fifteen minutes she got out of the shower and dried off,after she finished drying her head she saw the thibg from her dream in fer reflection,she blinked and the image was replaced with her own reflection. She quickly got dressed and came down stairs to make breakfast. An hour of baking latter Scootaloo finished making waffles for her and Trixie, the latter soon came down stairs to see freshly baked waffles on the table.
"Oh mistress,you didn't have to make me anything." Trixie said embarrassed that someone else would make her anything this early.
"Consider this my apology for leaving you alone at that picnic,especially after what happened between me and Rainbow Dash." The incident at the picnic was only a week ago and yet the young mare felt guilty for forgetting her roommate.
"That was a week ago,it's fine,now hurry up and eat or you'll be late for school." The two mares ate in a comfortable silence,after Scootaloo finished she said good bye to Trixie and headed off to school.
In two hours Scootaloo had arrived at school,but it seemed to be buzzing with some sort of rumor,something about a new girl. All she heard while walking to first period was what everyone thinks the new girl is like,some hope she's nice,others hoping she was rich, she even heard some of the guys hoping she was hot or cute. When Scootaloo Sat down in her seat the bell rang signaling class has started. Not a minute later Cheerliee stepped inside with a large grin.
"Hello class,now today is a special day for we have a new student joining us." She waited tell the whispering had settled down before continuing.
"Now I want each of you to be nice and give her a good time,alright you can come in!" With that the door opened again and a mare walked in. She was a dark blue eath pony,she she had a nicely brushed black mane and tail with a red streak running through them,yellow eyes,she wore a red dress that went waist level and was tight enough to show a little of cleavage.dark jeans and blue heels.
"Hello,my name is Aurora wave." She introduced herself in a voice that would belong to a noble family. She looked across the room to scan everyone's expression,but when her eyes stopped on an orange pegasus she gasped in surprise.
"Oh my gosh Scooty!" Aurora had rushed to tackle Scootaloo into a tight hug almost crushing the other mare.
"H-hey Aurora,long time no see.".Scootaloo greeted between breaths as she was being squeezed. Everyone in the classroom was looking at them in confusion, except for Sweetie Belle who was staring at the the new girl with jealousy in her eyes. After Aurora had released Scootaloo she was assigned to the empty seat behind her, Cheerilee had decided to assign Scootaloo with the task of showing Aurora around,much to Sweetie Belle's displeasure.
After giving Aurora a tour around the school and classes she took Aurora to the table the Crusaders usually eat during lunch. When they sat down at the table Applebloom was the first to speak.
"So Aurora, ya know Scoots?" The way she acted when she saw Scootaloo rose some questions in the young farmer's head.
"Oh yes,we both knew each other back in Manehatten,although I would never guessed we'd meet again." Aurora found it a good time to start hugging Scootaloo as she answered, Sweetie Belle did not like it.
"By the way aren't you gonna introduce your friends Scooty." Scootaloo blushed at the nick name as she ate her lunch.
"I told you not to call me that in public." She complained as she controls her blush.
"Anyway, this is Applebloom." She said as she points to the country mare who wich gave a friendly nod.
"And this is Sweetie Belle,my marefriend." Both Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle blushed as they let their relationship be known to their friend, Applebloom rose a curious eyebrow at this.
"Since when did this happen?"
"Last week." Sweetie Belle answered, Aurora couldn't help but squeal in joy.
"Finally! I thought you would never get into the love game." Aurora was squeezing Scootaloo with renew energy at this point.
"Well I'm happy for you two." Applebloom said with a smile.
"So how did you two meet anyway?"Sweetie Belle asked. When Scootaloo managed to separate herself from the blue earth pony she answered.
"Well, back in Manehatten I was walking the streets until I saw Aurora being bullied by a couple of thugs, so I thought I help her out,then one thing lead to another and were friends." Aurora nodded her head in confirmation.
"Even in Manehatten ya always get into a fight eh?" Applebloom commented with a knowing smirk.
"Hey, in Manehatten you have to show your tough or you'll be dead in a second." Aurora nodded in agreement. So the group of four talked a little bit more before the bell rang and they moved on to next period.
After school Scootaloo wanted to show Aurora her place and Sweetie Belle wanted to come along as well,incase something happened between these two. When they made it inside they were greeted by the sound of a mare's voice coming from the basement.
"Mistress,I found a new technique I would like to try out." Trixie said coming up stairs to see her mistress plus Sweetie Belle and a mare she never seen before,her cheeks turned red as she realized that they probably heard her call Scootaloo mistress, but not as red as Scootaloo's.
"Scootaloo, are you in a harem or something?" Aurora joked.
"Hello, my name is Trixie." Trixie introduced a bit awkwardly. About twenty minuets latter of explaining everything to Aurora, the four mares enjoyed dinner. They talked a little bit on light topics before Aurora brought up a serious matter.
"I still can't believe your taking a lot of risk with what your doing with these two." Both Sweetei Belle and Trixie looked at each other confused before looking back towards Aurora.
"What do you mean?" Sweetie Belle asked with a raised eyebrow, Aurora looked back to Scootaloo with a serious look.
"You haven't told them?" Scootaloo sighed as she placed the fork down.
"I was hoping to avoid it,but I might as well now." She cleared her throat before she began her explanation.
"You see, while there are many types of vampires and coves, there are some of the old fashioned vampires that lived a thousand years. Some of them don't really like it when a mortal knows who's a vampire and when they find out they have every intention on killing that mortal and the vampire that reveled themselves." Scootaloo stopped look at the two listening mares,she noticed a tinge of fear in their eyes. "It's basically the same thing with pure bloods and half-bloods not following the traditional blood pact."
"So,does that mean that were in danger." Sweetie Belle asked in a shaking tone, Scootaloo smiled and placed a hand on hers as a sign of comfort.
"Not while I'm around." This seemed to cheer Sweetie Belle up a little bit.
"You two are so cute." Aurora giggled as she sees the two couple blush. After finishing dinner Aurora decided to leave for the night, she stood outside of the door while the other three are inside giving her their farewell.
"It was great seeing you again Aurora." Scootaloo said as she hugged her old friend, a little too friendly for Sweetie Belle.
"You too Scooty, and you two as well." Aurora replied, Sweetie Belle and Trixie said the same thing back, though for Sweetie Belle she tried not to let her jealousy get in her voice. She was suddenly garbed from behind in a firm hug, she looked back to see a grinning Scootaloo.
"So, are you gonna explain why you've been jealous all day?" Sweetie Belle was caught off guard but refused to admit it.
"I don't know what your talking about." She lied defiantly,but it failed on the account of her red cheeks.
"Oh come on,I've notice the way you've been acting so just admitt it already." Sweetie Belle sighed and decided to get it over with.
"I'm jealous because of how close you and Aurora seem to be." Scootaloo smiled a little at the confession and gave Sweetie Belle a peck on the lips.
"I swear, me and Aurora are only friends and nothing more."
"Yes,we may look like a couple but truth is that I think Scootaloo as a little sister." Aurora added in, hearing this makes Sweetie Belle feel a little bit better.she going to apologize but was interrupted a distant growling in the distance. Up ahead on the path way stood about a dozen ponies, they were all growling like feral beasts and their eyes only shine blood red as they moved towards them.
"Mistress,what are those ponies doing?" Trixie asked getting an uneasy feeling of the approaching ponies. Scootaloo stood in a protective stance in front of Sweetie Belle as she turned into her vampire form.
"They're ferals, vampires who have lost themselves to the blood lust,they are basically animals in pony form." She said while Trixie gets in a ready stance and, to Sweetie Belle's surprise Aurora does as well.
"Aurora your gonna fight too?" Aurora gave Sweetie Belle a confident smirk.
"Yeah, I'm not exactly helpless, you ready Scoots?" She looks to Scootaloo to see that she was sporting the same smirk as her.
"You know I am,how about you go first." Scootaloo suggested , Aurora grinned as she moves forward. When one of the ferals charged towards her she just smirked and let it get closer, Sweetie Belle only watched in confusion and worry as the feral got closer to Aurora.
"I don't understand,what is she gonna do?" She looked to Scootaloo,and saw that she still has that smile on her face.
"Take a closer look." She simply said, Sweetie Belle looked back to Aurora to see what exactly she was looking for. She saw it, down in Aurora's right hand she could see that it was being surrounded by some sort of liquid appearing out of thin air.
"Is that water?" Trixie had seen the liquid as well but could make it out better than Sweetie Belle due to the fact that vampires can see more clear in the dark.
"Yeah,Aurora has the ability to manipulate water and use water based magic." Both Trixie and Sweetie Belle had an expression of confusion,before one of them could ask they heard the loud howl of the feral,bring their attention back to Aurora. The feral was close enough that it was about to take a swipe with its claws. Aurora sidestepped to the right to doge the attack, after the feral hit air Aurora crossed her right hand to the left side of her body like one would when preparing to slash their sword. The water surrounding the apendage extended to almost resemble a gauntlet blade, with the edge long and sharp and the rest of the water remaining on her wrist. Aurora made a slashing motion with the water gauntlet across the feral's neck,when the water made contact it cut through the flesh easily as if it were a real sword and cut its head off.
Both Sweetie Belle and Trixie were stuck in awe at what they have just witnessed,Scootaloo chuckled at their reaction.
"Yeah,when Aurora uses her powers she can convert the air around herself into water,it may look like normal water but it's as strong as steel." Three more ferals charged at Aurora at once, she intercepts them by summoning a large pillar of water from underneath them sendi them flying up in the air.
"That's my cue." Scootaloo flew straight at the airborn ferals with crimson night summoned in hand and sliced through the three ferals as she flew past them.
"Trixie stay back with Sweetie Belle, Aurora and I can fight the guys but I'm counting on you to protect her from any unexpected attacks." Scootaloo ordered looking back at them.
"You can count on me!" Trixie exclaimed, Scootaloo smiled a bit before she focused back on the remaining ferals. Just when she was about to charge straight at them she suddenly had an idea. She flew down next to Aurora.
"Hey I just got an idea on killing these guys in one shot,and it's pretty awesome." She said excitedly as she produced some sparks of red electricity,Auroa got the hint immediately as she formed a sphere of water the size of a basketball, she threw it straight at the approaching ferals, once it reached the center of them it expanded into a large dome with the ferals inside drowning. Once it expanded Scootaloo used crimson arc to electrify the dome and the ferals trapped inside,after a few minuets the dome of water dispersed and dropped all of the ferals that are now reduced to smoking corpses.
"Well that was easy." Aurora commented,she turned to look at Scootaloo and saw the serious expression on her face as she looks over the dead ferals.
"Something doesn't feel right,all of them have the exact same magic signature." Just when she said she felt a strong source of power followed by the sound of laugher from a dark male voice.
"You have good senses,Night Wing." Said a stallion as he rises out from a forming pool of darkness. Once he fully emerged everyone present could make out his features.he is a deep red unicorn with black mane, obsidian armor both upper and lower body,a black cape that reaches to the top of his ankles. But the most defining feature is the crimson slitted eyes of a vampire.
"Allow me to introduce myself, I am General Red Dawn of the Dark Moon society." Red Dwan introduced with a respectful bow,this didn't ease Scootaloo as she didn't drop her fighting stance.
"Dark Moon?" Sweetie Belle asked from where she was with Trixie at the house. Red Dawn rose from his bow as he gave them an explanation.
"You see, Dark Moon is a society of supernatural creatures like werewolves, orcs and vampires, we dedicate our lives in this society for one being that will lead us to a new world." He said with a proud smile on his face. Everything he said gives Scootaloo a bad feeling along with a sense of danger. 'He gives off a large amount of power as an intimidation act,I better watch step with him' Scootaloo thought.
"And just who is this being?" Aurora asked with her body tensed as she waits for a possible attack. The question made Red Dawn smile wider showing of his sharp fangs as he gives out one name.
"Nightmare Moon." The name caused everyone's eyes widen and pupils to shrink in surprise and fear.
"There's no way Princess Luna would go back to being that monster." Trixie said not believing what this stallion is saying, hearing Luna's name caused the general to laugh loudly.
"You actually thought I meant that weak faker,oh how naïve you all are." He said while wiping a few tears out of his eyes from laughing. Once he calmed down he had a serious expression on his face.
"No, I mean the real Nightmare Moon, the only reason Luna ever had that was name was because our mistress needed a body,but soon we will be able to create an soulless body that she will call her own!" Scootaloo and others couldn't believe the nonsense that he was saying, but there was an important question lingering for this moment.
"None of this explains why your here." Scootaloo growled,she did not like this stallion one bit, especially the way he insults the night princess.
"Ah right,you have proven to be quite the specimen and a threat to us from what Lust had told us." Hearing Lust's name caused all but Aurora to tense up.
"So she's one of you then?"Scootaloo asked even though she probably knows the answer.
"She is, but enough talk,show me what your capable of Night Wing." Red Dawn challenged getting into a fighting stance.
"My name is Scootaloo, I'm not that kind of pony anymore." Scootaloo said denying her old name from years ago before she moved in Ponyville. Red Dawn however doesn't seem convinced.
"That's not how it looked when you slaughtered those hunters last week." Scootaloo was confused, she didn't remember seeing any hunters last week.
"What are yo-Ah!" Scootaloo shouts in pain as she grips her head in response to the painful pounding that throbbed in it.
Red Dawn took advantage of her pain and attacked with an uppercut to send Scootaloo into the air, the attack seemed to have brought Scootaloo back to her senses as she righted herself with her wings in the air. She flew towards him and tried to punch him but he blocked it, he went for another punch but Scootaloo knocked it away and kicked him in the chest making him slide back a few feet, she then used night shatter and sent twenty shadow blades,but just when they made contact Red Dawn smirked and lit up his horn in a dark red aura and the shadow blades were suddenly ripped into ribbons in seconds leaving everyone surprised.
"Impressive, if you had been fighting against any normal pony or vampire then that would have worked,but unfourtanetly for you I have been training my whole life in deconstructing shadow magic." Red Dawn said with a smirk on his lips, Scootaloo growled in response and summoned crimson night into her hands.
"Then I'll just have to be more creative with my powers." She charged at him and slashed downward at him, he dodged and created a sword of his own from the shadows. The two vampires charged at the same time and clashed blades,both pushing for dominance over the other. However just when Scootaloo seemed to be gaining the upper hand ten shadow like tentacles slowly rose from the ground behind her.
"Scootaloo behind you!" Sweetie Belle warned, Scootaloo looked back and saw the tentacle like shadows rushing towards her, she jumped to the side and avoided the fatal blow,but she couldn't avoid getting a cut to her side that bled a little.
"Bastard, are you a general because you use cheap tricks?" Scootaloo growled as she eyed Red Dawn carefully for anymore tricks. Red Dawn chuckled at the accusation.
"Of course not, that was just a demonstration of what a vampire unicorn is capable of, a pegasus such as you can never reach my level." He stated giving himself an air of superiority. Scootaloo charged at him again with crimson night and the clash of swords continues, when Red Dawn blocked another swing from Scootaloo she used the close distance to use crimson arc and electrify him causing Red Dawn to stumble back in pain. Scootaloo didn't give him a chance to recover and mad a diagonal slash leaving a large cut across his chest. Red Dawn grabs his chest in pain, he looks at Scootaloo with sheer anger has his horn lit again with red electricity as he fires his own crimson arc at her. The attack hit creating a large cloud of dust on the spot, a minute latter ten black blade like tentacles shot out from the dust cloud towards Red Dawn.
"Don't you learn anything you can't hurt me with your shadows." He said as he began to deconstruct the incoming shadows,however when he destroyed them it revealed that Scootaloo had managed to hide inside them. Unable to react in time due to his surprise she had managed to cut his right arm off.
"Gah you bitch!" Red Dwan cursed loudly as he stared at his disembodied arm. Scootaloo didn't seemed fazed by his outburst as she stared at him with a hard stare.
"Don't underestimate your opponents because of their race, unicorns are not the elite race in this world." She lectures at the angry unicorn before her. Red Dawn's face soon went from anger to amusement much to everyone's confusion.
"It's been a while since someone cut a part of me off." He said as his horn lit up as he levitates his right arm back to its original place,once the appendage made contact with the rest of his body the place the cut was made mended its self leaving no trace of it ever being there.
"I must admit you are quite the clever one aren't you." He said as he flexes his fully healed right arm,his horn is still lit up though and Scootaloo had a bad feeling in her gut all of a sudden.
"But I'm afraid I have to put this game to a close." Scootaloo suddenly felt a strong pressure pressing down on her to the point where she collapsed to the ground on her stomach, she took notice of a dark red aura around her body. Red Dawn walked up to her with an evil smirk and his blade ready to swing down on its soon to be victim.
"Good bye, Night Wing." Just when he was about to bring his sword down on her neck he was blasted away by a powerful stream of water.
"Like hell your killing my best friend!" Aurora yelled as she took a protective stance between the two vampires, this didn't seem to faze Ded Dawn except making him very annoyed.
"Oh please, a mud pony like you can't do anything to counter my magic." He demonstrated this by repeating what he did to Scootaloo on Aurora, just like before she fell to the ground, leaving the only ones still standing is Red Dawn, Trixie and Sweetie Belle.
"Trixie can't you do anything to help?" Sweetie Belle asked almost pleadingly as she watches her beloved vampire mare friend in a dangerous position as well as Auora, sure she was jealous of how close those two were but that didn't mean she wants a possible new friend to get hurt.
"I might with a new technique I found earlier,but I only have one shot." Trixie said as she watches her mistress in danger;with determination in her eyes she charges at Red Dawn as his attention stayed off of her, as she gets closer to him a condensed ball of red energy formed in her hand. Forgetting all about the half-blood Red Dawn wasn't prepared for the attack;when Trixie was close enough she shaves the red ball towards him and fired, creating a large blast of magic point blank. However when it was over it revealed the stallion has hardly taken any damage!
"Not too bad, although judging from how exhausted you look I take it that was the first Crimson Cannon you pulled off." True to his statement Trixie does look exhausted, the Crimson Cannon took up a large amount of magic leaving her low on stamina. Red Dawn then back handed Trixie across her right cheek sending her flying back the way she came until she slowed down to a stop on the ground, leaving her too tired to get back up.
"Trixie!" Scootaloo yelled as she saw all this,before she could say anything else she felt her mind go blank as darkness over came her.
Scootaloo finds herself back in the dark void in her dream, and like before the thing that looks like her in the mirror is there to.
"come now Scootaloo you an do better than this."It said as she shakes her head in disappointment, this is making Scootaloo frustrated as she looks at it in this place while her friends are in danger.
"What do you want from me I can't even move with his magic pressing down on me, not to mention he can demolish all of my shadow attacks." Hearing this only made the reflection sigh.
"Don't you remember how you defeated the Shadow Lycan?" it asked, Scootaloo knew exactly what it was talking about, the red aura that appeared when she delivered the final blow on that fight.
"That was a fluke I have know idea how that even happened."
"Then everyone you care about will die ." the reflection said coldly before the mirror began to shine a bright light.
Scootaloo's eyes snapped open wide still slightly out of it from talking to that thing again, when the last thing it said before waking up was finally processed in her mind there was only one thing she felt that moment. Her rapidly rising anger, she narrowed her eyes and gritted her teeth as she once again attempts to rise back to her feet, fueled with rage she manages to stand back up. Red Dawn quickly too notice of this and was quite surprised.
"Impossible,you shouldn't be able to stand with my power pressing down on you." He tried to add more pressure in hopes of knocking her back down but only succeeded in making her body hunch over slightly.
"Don't, hurt my friends." Her cutie mark began to glow a powerful light of red that was soon followed by a bright red aura around her body underneath Red Dawn's magic.
"ANYMORE!!!" The red aura completely destroys Red Dawn's magic as it shot outwards creating a red sphere of light around Scootaloo making her look like a beacon in the night, the power she was unleashing disrupts Red Dawn's magic around Aurora freeing her as well. Still being surrounded in the red aura Scootaloo charged straight towards Red Dawn with the speed that even a high class vampire couldn't match, she uppercuts him sending straight into the air,she quickly followed him and began to send a volley of punches into his chest, she then created a large sphere of red electricity in her right hand.
"YOUR DEAD!!" She fires the electricity and engulfed Red Dawn in a large beam of electricity that sounded like thunder, after the attack was done Red Dawn's body fell and hit the unforgiving ground, Scootaloo slowly landed in front of him, everyone present to the fight had begun to gather around that spot as well, with Sweetie Belle supporting Trixie to walk. The red aura had vanished by the time everyone was there.
"Alright Red Dawn your done,now tell us what we want to know." Scootaloo demanded as she glares at the down vampire, Red Dawn chuckled at her with out a hint of fear as his body slowly began to desintergrate.
"Hah, why should I say anything when I'm already about to die, but I will say this." He slowly rose his head slightly to meet Scootaloo's eyes.
"When I first saw you I thought it was a coincidence, but after seeing you fight I started to think about it more, and that burst of raw power confirmed it that you are definitely the same as her." He coughed up blood as his body desintergrates faster.
"What are you talking about?" Scootaloo asked impatiently with his babbling, Red Dawn smiles in amusement as if being reminded of a far away memory.
"I'm talking about one of the most powerful vampires in the history of Equestria." His body is know almost completely turned to dust as he says these last two words that will surprise the four mares.
