Some would say I am a complicated stallion, one who weaves their way through threads of intrigue and social webs with layered plans and goals more numerous than the hairs in my mustache. However, like myself, the truth is far simpler. You only need to think two steps ahead, and act with confidence to look like you have the world in your hooves.

But between you and I, sometimes I have a habit of... "winging it" as they say in Cloudsdale. And for as long as I can maintain a look of poise and dignity, a bit of improvisation can go a long way. Except this story revolves around a moment where keeping my monocle on was the least of my worries.

Where do I begin? The casual offering of invitation? The train from Canterlot to Manehattan? Or the instant I realized something was about to go amiss in my personal penthouse suite?
