The Gale family is powerful Dark magic family, but since Black magic is frowned upon, The Family decided to move up into the remote mountains. Everyone in the family was a Unicorn, however Shadow Gale was born as an Earth pony. Her Father and Mother were thrilled to have a child,and even though her father was slightly upset that she was an Earth pony, but he loved her anyway.
