It was a dark and eerily peaceful night, and while the streets were empty, with only parked cars and silence, there was one boy, the boy known as discord draconny, a trickster and a prankster, always willing to do what it takes in order to bring more chaos to canterlot high, he was in no way an orderly person, his room was filled with random stuff almost never used and had colors painted everywhere, and his clothing represented his desire for chaos, he had a brown jacket with a brown tie, with one sleeve missing and replaced with that of a light orange sweater, a yellow glove on the sleeve that was supposed to be there, he painted one of pant legs green and the other a color similar to sweater sleeve sewn onto his shirts missing sleeve spot, he wore the same type of shoes but each In a different color, one shoe matching the green pant leg by being green, the other being a dark brown color.
He had a grey face with messy hair, his eyes were odd as they were yellow with red pupils, and one thing that people will first notice about him is his unusual toothy grin,he was in a good mod because of the fact that he managed to pull off six pranks without getting caught except on the last one, and he walked the streets to prepare for canterlot highs hallow festival, called nightmare night for some reason that seemed odd to him, but he didn't really care. He enjoyed picking out random costume parts and creating what he called his "master pieces", though everyone called them abominations behind his back, he finally reached his destination:a costume store.
When he entered there was only one person there, a very bored looking shop keeper reading a magazine, she only barely glanced at discord when eh came in and didn't bother with him, discord went over to the parts and pieces and not the actual costumes, he saw all sorts of potential things for a new masterpiece, but one thing of all stuck out:a strange amulet, depicting what appeared to be a unicorns head, with wings on the side, and a beautiful gem in the middle, discord easily fell in love with the amulet and picked it up immediately, and it felt amazing, he was almost drunk while wearing it, it was a...strange yet euphoric feeling. he went to the counter and slammed it (though gently)on the counter. "How much for this?" The lady snapped out of her magazine reading and stared at the amulet, and a smile crept onto her face at how she could get ways to make money from this, and even get a raise potentially
"Fifty bucks kid, fork it over or go buy something cheap",discord smiled,with the fact that he had constant detentions and referrals due to his disruptions, and his parents were very weak and stressed people who were easy to manipulate, they payed him boatloads not to do anything for at the very least a day just so that they can have some relaxation, he often used this money to manipulate people and to suit on his pranks, he gave the lady the money and grabbed the amulet immediately, and put on, as he walked home he felt amazing power, and he was entranced with it until a few people bumped into him, and they smiled
They were obviously gang members or thieves or thugs or whatever it was called, discord didn't know , all he knew was that they were trouble, "nice decoration there, weirdo, give it up" he tried walking past them, but they grabbed his arm "leave me alone....."they weren't impressed and the one grabbing his arm squeezed it tight "I said...LEAVE ME ALONE"he was surprised at how the amulet responded:by firing some type of red mist at the one holding his arm and knocking him back ten feet, and making him release his hold , the other people were terrified and ran away, discord was amazed, and tried and tried and tried and tried, but for some reason couldn't make the amulet do it again, at canterlot high he saw weird things, like the incident with sunset shimmer, and the dazzlings, and the apparent human twilight sparkle, in secret he always wanted that power they always had, and would have sold his soul if he could to get it, but right now he was So close to having that power if the amulet could do that to the thief or whatever he was, yet he couldn't get it to work, frustrated, his walk home was spent with him planning and thinking, thinking of ways to make the amulet work once
