Only one stallion has been able to win her over. Only one stallion truly loved her and her night. And in return she loved him enough to marry him. He was a stallion who's name meant many things to her, friend, ally, lover, husband. And She still loved and adored him. No matter what insults "they" sent at him, madman, monster, murder, psychopath, dictator, Tyrant. Princess Luna would love her husband no matter what. Even though Luna and her husband, had been together for many years. It seem the public's views, and hatred about their love eventually got the better of him. And it drove him mad, forcing him to make deals, behind her back, to get rid of the ones who were against their love. But when a dealer went to far on collecting. Luna was forced to leave her beloved husband. His determination to protect his love for her out weighed everything else. And in the end. Luna and her husband became enemies. Luna was force to fight her beloved husband to the death. She did not want to kill him but his tyranny needed to be stopped. ****** Princess Luna wondered the Dreamscape reliving good memories with her Beloved Husband. She still loved him, and it was doubtful that even with her Immortal life span that she would find another, that loved her as much as he did. She kept looking through the good memories trying her best to not find the bad ones, and then Princess Luna woke up. She yawned, and turned in her bed to hopefully see him. Hoping that the bad memories were just part of a nightmare. But in the end he was not there. So she sighed and got up. Princess Luna got up and set the Moon, as she did every morning. Afterwords Princess Luna looked at the Calendar that was on the wall. As she looked at what day it was, tears started to form on her face. "Its Our Anniversary, beloved," said Princess Luna, as she turned with joy, only to be crushed when she realized again, that he was still gone. He had been dead for ten years now, and yet she still felt like he was always there. "By each other side, for eternity," she remembered, the vols they made each other, on the wedding day. After clearing up her tears, she made her way to the Main Hall. The Castle look beautiful this morning, the lighting and the shadows, laid beautifully across the walls of the Main Hall. As if somepony had personally sculpted them to perfection. It was always like this every year on their Anniversary, since he died. Princess Luna felt as if it was present from her beloved in the Afterlife. As if he was always watching over her from the other side. So it was no surprise throughout these mornings, for Princess Luna would randomly turn and assume he be there beside her. But of coarse he wasn't. He would always be gone. And it pained her so much to not be with him. ****** Then it dawn on her that she was late for the meeting with the Ambassadors from Zerbica. So Princess Luna ran through the halls till she reached the throne room, where Princess Celestia was talking with the Ambassadors from Zerbica. Princess Luna quietly walked in so is not disturb the treaty that Princess Celestia, and the Ambassadors were discussing. This Treaty was to allow some Zebras to live in Equestria, while a war was going in Zerbica. In exchange for living in Equestria, the Zebras gave the Princesses access to the Zebras's potion books. There were three Zebra Ambassadors covered in black hooded cloaks and mysterious forth one that wore a red hooded cloak. As Princess Luna, walked to her throne. She couldn't help but notice, that the forth one was watching her. Princess Luna sat on her throne. Slowly she was getting annoyed, and said, "What is it?" with an slight loudness as the others stop, and noticed her. "Luna, what's wrong?" said Princess Celestia, "Nothing Sister, how is the treaty talk going," said Princess Luna, as she calm down. Princess Luna took a deep breathe, and listened to the talk. Meanwhile the red cloak hooded one, kept looking at her. Then Princess Celestia, noticed, and said, "Do you have something to say sir...." "Hey Sir Zecal, you never told this one name," Princess Celestia said to the leader of the Zebra Ambassadors, "I'm sorry Princess Celestia, this is Baron Ragorgre, of Noblemat," said Sir Zecal, as he turn, and looked at this Baron Ragorgre, "It is ogdo to ese oyu aigan, eneQu Luan," said Baron Ragorgre, with an unusual strange voice, "What?" said Princess Celestia, not noticing that he wasn't actually talking to her, but to Princess Luna the whole time, "Sorry he speak only in Ancient Rakd Larcion, it is a dead language, even to our kind," said Sir Zecal, "That strange, Alicorns have abilities to understand, translate, and speak any language, because our mind translates it for us, it's call the Alicorn Translation Matrix" said Princess Celestia, "Sorry Princess but can we get back to the treaty," said Sir Zecal, "Yes, your right," said Princess Celestia, Princess Celestia went back to talking about the treaty. While just Princess Luna sat on her throne quietly. ****** Later Princess Luna, and Princess Celestia went to go have breakfast. they grabbed some breakfast and some coffee and sat down to eat. "Luna whats going on you seem sad," said Celestia, as she took a bite of her meal. "Tia it is today," Luna said, while she messed with her food. "What is today?" said Celestia, "My Anniversary," Luna spoken barely above a whisper, "I'm sorry, what was that?" said Celestia, Luna then mumbled the the words, then Celestia said, "Your going to have to speak up, Luna" "IT MY ANNIVERSARY!!" Luna yelled out, as she storm out of the room not even finishing her meal. ****** Princess Luna, made her way back to her room when all the sudden the hall went quiet. And out of nowhere the red cloaked hooded one, Baron Ragorgre, appeared, and said, "It is ogdo to ese oyu aigan, eneQu Laun," "What? My sister said she could not understand you, what make you think I can," said Princess Luna, "Becusae oyu nede a moment get use to it again," said Baron Ragorgre, "What the? I understood that last part," Luna said with a shock in her mind, realizing that she knew this Language. "Oh good, than I will repeat what I said, earlier, It is good to see you again, Queen Luna," said Baron Ragorgre, As a chill went down her spine, "I have not used that Title in years, not since my husband was alive," Princess Luna said, in horror as she backed away from him. "What is it Queen Luna? Did you really think that you got away from me" said Baron Ragorgre, as the hood fell down revealing, that he was a dark blue goat. "No It can be you, it just can't be you, your name is not Baron Ragorgre, of Noblemat, it's Grogar, of Tambelon," said Princess Luna as she ran out of there as quickly as she could. "No it can't be him, not here not now, not today of all days," Princess Luna said to herself, as she ran. Meanwhile Grogar just stood there and said to himself, "You can run all you want Queen Luna, but you and your sister will never be able to escape the Deal, that your Husband made, and since he could not complete it, I shall make sure, you will," //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: Dreams //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: Dreams Princess Luna got to her room. She ran in and slammed the door shut, using magic to lock it. The perfectly laid lighting and shadows, were now seemly in disarray. She ran and jump on to her bed. Princess Luna curled up into a ball. Rolling back and forth with tears going down her face. "No this can't be real, this can't be real," she said, in a complete panic. "Yeah, I am probably still asleep," Luna said, trying to assure herself, that it had to be a nightmare. Princess Luna rolled back and forth, till she slowly fell asleep. As she slept Grogar walked to her room. "Damn she locked it, oh well I can be patient, I will just go wait somewhere less public, meanwhile I think she need some entertainment, don't you agree," said Grogar to what look like nothing there beside him, as he left. Pulling the hood back over his head, he left down the hallway and then disappeared. Back in Princess Luna's room, unusual whispers could be heard, throughout the room. As the shadows were almost retreating from her. Meanwhile as she slept, she began to dream. But these weren't good dreams, not at all. ****** Princess Luna wondered through a beautiful shining room. It was cover in shining Blue Sapphires. The Moonlight cascading off each Blue Sapphire. It was so beautiful that words could not describe it. She was in awe, and wonder as she walked, it was breathe taking. But then the shine began to fade. As blood began to fill the room. Princess Luna watched in horror as the Blue Sapphires turn as black as the darkest of night. Then a scream filled, and echoed throughout the room. Luna ran towards it to find the source of the scream that was still echoing throughout the room. Luna ran as quickly as she could, not noticing the level of the blood that was filling the room was getting higher. Princess Luna ran till she finally saw the source of the scream. Luna saw a separate version of herself holding her beloved husband. "No this is not how it happen, that is not how it happen," Luna said, as she saw the separate version of herself holding tightly to her beloved husband. Luna kept repeating what she said over and over, as the room filled with more and more blood. Finally the blood reached passed her legs as Luna start to panic as the blood rose up to her chest. As the separate version of herself was engulfed in blood. Then the blood started turning black and acting like tar, as slowly wrapped around her, trying to engulf her too. "No, no, no, no, no, ENOUGH!!!!" she yelled out at the blackish ooze. Then it slowly started to disappear. As the Ooze slowly vanished, Luna saw in the spot where the image of herself holding her beloved husband, was now being replace by something else. A Black Alicorn mare with light blue armor stood there instead, as it let out an evil laugh. Then Luna saw her beloved husband clothe in similar armor, walking up to the Black Alicorn and proceeded to make out with the Black Alicorn. "No this is not right, no this isn't right, not at all, my husband would never be with another mare," Luna said as she tried to run from the scene. But she could not move a single muscle, as she forced to watch as two went from making out, to making love. Luna could not close her eyes either, as she was forced to watch. However she soon realized the Black Alicorn mare was her. Then a voice from nowhere began to speak to her. "This is what you want, to be with him, right Luna," "I want him back but not like this, this is perverted, evil," said Luna, "Please make it stop, I don't want to watch this evil, any more!!" Luna said, yelling that last part, "Fine then," voice said, Just then Black Alicorn version of herself, got finish making love with her Husband. It grab out a blade and proceeded to stab her husband in the chest with it. "What are you doing to him, no don't--" Luna said as Luna voice began fade. The Black Alicorn version of herself, then proceeded to carve out her husband's heart, and pull it out. Then the Black Alicorn version of herself, walked over and presented the Heart to her. Then the Dream began to fade, as the voice said, "If you want his love back, then go out there and take it," Princess Luna woke up, from the Dream. Luna was covered in sweat. she noticed that it was somehow already night. "I guess Tia decided to raise the Moon for me," said Luna as she got up out the bed. Then she notice the bed was soaked. "You have got to be kidding me it was one "those dreams"," Luna said to herself with disgusted and annoyance. But when she used her magic to light up the room, her annoyance went straight to terror. For the bed was not soak with what she assumed, but instead covered in blood. "What in Tartarus, is going on here," said Luna, as she tried to pulled off the sheets. Only to see that they were wrapped around something shape like an "L". Luna use her magic to unwrap the the sheet, only for tears to cover her face. As she look in horror. It was the severed head of a pony. but not just and pony. "TIA, SISTER, WHAT HAVE I DONE!!!" Luna yelled out, as she stared at the severed head of her sister, Princess Celestia. Luna slowly crawled toward the severed head of her sister. Luna picked it up to see if it was true. Only realizing that it was true. Luna let out the most loud bloodcurdling scream. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: Lies and Secrets //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: Lies and Secrets Princess Luna woke up from the dreams screaming. Meanwhile Princess Celestia stopped eating her meal when she heard Luna screaming. Celestia ran from the table as quickly as she could. Celestia made her way up the stairs and down the hallway to Luna's room. Only to realize that Luna had put a Magical Block on the door. Celestia broke the Magical Block over the door and ran in to see what was wrong. "Luna what is it? Tell me, Why are you screaming? Luna," said Celestia as she ran over to calm Luna. "Tia it was horrible, I was siting there and you were dead, and I was so scared," Luna said, as she was covered in tears. Celestia walked over on to the bed, and wrapped her wings around Luna, and said, "It's okay Luna it was just a nightmare, I am not going to die,". Princess Luna just fell into Princess Celestia's wings, and cried for the longest time. "It okay, I will always be here for you," said Celestia, as she held Luna close. Meanwhile the lighting and shadows seem to slowly revert back to their original positions, and were no longer retreating from Luna. Luna eventually stop crying. ****** Princess Celestia and Princess Luna finally left the room and made their way down stairs. Luna had totally forgotten about Grogar being back, it would not effect too much to Celestia as she did not that in the past, Luna's husband had dealings with Grogar. Since it apparently was still morning, Luna went back to eat her breakfast. Celestia decided tell Luna more about treaties that were being signed with the Zebras, and how they will soon be able access the new spells from other countries. As Celestia talked, Luna couldn't help but notice how sleepy she still was. Trying her best to keep her eyes open. But with in a blink of an eye. ****** Princess Luna looked as she was now in a different room, this was not the dining room in the Canterlot's Main Castle. But was instead it was the beautiful Dining Room of her beloved husband's luxurious beautiful Castle in the Kingdom they use to rule together as King and Queen. The Table look glorious with lit red candles and beautiful designs adorn the table. And on the other side of this beautiful table sat not Celestia, but Luna's beloved husband. Luna gasped, as she saw her and her husband were sitting across from each other enjoying a beautiful dinner of her favorite dish, and her favorite wine, like they use to back then before he went mad. Luna was finally happy, a moment she could enjoy for longest time. But then...... ****** Princess Luna was snapped out of her daydream as Celestia said, "Luna, Luna, Luna!!" "What is it Tia?" said Luna, as she tried to snap out of her daze. "Are you sure your okay? You just seem off, since having that Nightmare," said Celestia, in a caring voice. "There's NOTHING to worry about," said Luna, as she got slightly annoyed. "How about you talk about it? How did the nightmare start?" said Celestia, "I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT!!!!" Luna yelled, in anger as she tried to hide her shame for having such an evil dream. Luna had a hard enough time talking about the fact, that she had a nightmare of her sister's death. But Luna would have even harder time to tell her sister of the very naughty dream she had just moments before the nightmare. "FINE, can you at least tell me why there was a Magical Block over the door?" Celestia said, with slightly less calmer than normal tone, then what she usually spoke with. Unfortunately Luna was to scared from the nightmare to recall why she put a Magical Block on the door. So Luna just sat quietly as she tried to finish her meal. Princess Celestia signed, she was worried for her sister. Luna had been getting distant ever since her husband died. Celestia was worried that Luna would push herself so far away from everypony, that Luna would lose herself. Celestia knew the feeling of loss of a love since not but, fifty-three years ago Celestia was forced to seal her own first love, Discord. And the years later Celestia was force to deal with a similar problem to what Luna had gone through. When Celestia second love and first husband went mad trying to make himself immortal. Only to disappear and presumed dead more than a month later. ****** The two Princesses simply sat there in silence as they finished their meals and then had some cake afterwords as Princess Celestia always did. Both had a magical Alicorn power call WLP, which was an Alicorn exclusive ability to keep their weight at normal levels without needing much of a workout, so they didn't mind to have the occasional slice of cake, after a meal, especially Princess Celestia. But Princess Luna didn't feel up to eating cake today, so she decided to go for a walk to try and wake herself up. ****** Meanwhile Grogar was still in disguise traveling down the Catacombs of the old Canterlot Castle that the current Canterlot City was built over. Grogar made his way down, down, to the Catacombs till he found the Crystal Caves, that was created by an old ally of his, for a different still unknown plan. "I still have no idea why he made these caves, oh well at least nopony can bother us here," Grogar step into the Crystal Cave and found a good spot to sit and talk with his new unseen ally. Grogar talked about his sick, twisted plan and speaking to what seem like nothing there in front of him. "So it seem my plan has taken root and Luna shall become a better host for you soon, since originally you could take over her during her most primal urges, such as lust, like during the times you were with her husband, and fear, like when you "helped" her "stop" her husband's tyranny," "The most twisted part is that neither of them would remember the events to begin with, but now that the floodgates are open, she shall slowly start to dream of the moments she has had with her husband whether they are real memories or false memories, and especially the ones you have had," Grogar said with a twisted grin. "Just remember that once you have complete control over Princess Luna, that you keep your end of the deal, and once that is done I shall resurrect her husband for you to control in any sick or twisted way you choose, just make sure you finish the Deals that even He could not complete, and I am not just talking about the ones that she knew about I talking about the ones that Luna would rather forget," Grogar finished with an evil insidious laugh. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: The Memories and the Deals //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: The Memories and the Deals Princess Luna was walking though the halls of Canterlot City main Castle. Trying her best to wake herself up, she knew she had to be daydream earlier. Luna was also trying to remember why she put a Magical Block on her door. But the more she thought about it, the more she began to think about that horrible dream. So Luna stopped thinking about it and just kept walking. Noticing the sunlight shining in the halls. The shadows of the trees from outside almost dancing along the walls. Watching them dance always made Luna happy. As Princess Luna walked though the halls, time almost seem to stand still. Pony guard would walk by, salute the Princess and thewent on their way. Luna didn't mind them, she knew they were simply seeing a Princess and showing honor. But none them knew her. Sure they respected her. But they also respected Princess Celestia and served her willing, and when it came to Luna, they only served her because they had to, or at least that how it seem to her. None of them really took the time know Princess Luna. Sure they knew plenty of things about Princess Celestia. But none of them knew Luna. Only three ponies ever took the time to know Princess Luna, other than her sister. There was her mentor King Morpheus, then there was her old student she had a few decades back, Snowdrop. And there was the Stallion who became her husband. He was a strong and powerful Stallion who knew her so well, And loved her so much. He love her till the day he died. Luna just kept walking, trying to stay awake. But when all the guards were gone. ****** Suddenly as Princess Luna was walking. she realize she was no longer walking threw the halls of Canterlot City main Castle. Instead she was walking down the aisle to her Husband. Luna looked around, it was the Wedding Hall, at her Husband's Castle in the Kingdom he ruled. Luna was reliving the day of her Wedding. The place looked glorious, with elegant purple tapestry, and beautiful blue roses layered on all decorations. Luna looked as was now wearing a beautiful blue and purple wedding dress, that was design by the best in fashion at the time. Luna walked down the aisle, she knew she was dreaming this time. But she did not care this was true bliss. Luna could relived this moment forever. Luna got to her husband as the priest began. Luna was so happy, that she forgot what was to happen next. The Doors flew open, as her cousin, Prince Blood Diamond, charged in with a sword ready to kill her husband. Luna turned and then. ****** Princess Luna ran and then she realized the dream was over. Luna stopped running, she looked and saw another Calendar as she remembered what day it was. It was still her Anniversary. Luna smiled, because she was not going to let these strange dreams keep her from enjoying this day. Luna ran to the kitchen to get some ice cream hoping that would wake her up. Luna grabbed the ice cream and scoop out some chocolate hazelnut flavor. Luna ate the ice cream savoring it as she did. She enjoyed ice cream. It reminded her of the coldness in her husband's Castle. Luna often remembered if she ever got too cold back in the Castle, her husband would drape one of his massive wings over her and it she would always enjoy the kind loving gesture as she felt the warmth of his feathers. He was always good to her, never once harmed her when they were together, and stayed by her side even in the loneliest of nights. He loved her nights, in fact that was one of the things that first drew her to him, that and being one of best warriors in all of Equestia, and one of the only ones that could keep up with her in battle. Princess Luna finished the ice cream and went back to walking with a happy look on her face trying to enjoy the day being that it was the only day when she would be up and about with Sun up. However her happiness didn't last long for as she headed for the exit to the kitchen, and her path was block. A chill went up her spine. It was not a good chill that could have been warmed away by her husband's wing. This a fearful chill as she saw in the path way was none other then Grogar. He was still in disguise, but she knew it was him. Princess Luna slowly backed away as Grogar walked forward. "Hello Queen Luna, I hope you are enjoying your day," Grogar said, with a deceptive smile. "Well I-we were till you arrived!" Luna said, while trying to speak up in the Royal Canterlot voice to trying seem threatening to the dark blue goat. But it did not work. He simply just kept walking forward, as she kept backing away from him. "Oh there is no need for formality as you have known me for decades," Grogar said, as he walked over and grabbed himself a cup of coffee. He drake it slowly as Princess Luna tried to drum up enough strength for a reply. "We only knew you for so long, it was our husband who knew you better," said Luna, as she kept up with the Royal Canterlot voice, hoping it would help. But it only annoyed him. "Queen Luna you do realize that I am not here to be your enemy, I am just here to complete the Deal," Grogar said with a bigger grin, and slowly showing off his dagger like teeth. Luna simply shrugged the look off as she knew he was trying to get a reaction from her. So she composed herself and spoke back. "That Deal will never be complete, we will make sure of that," said Luna as she tried to keep her cool as she walked past him. But then was stop by three words, that stung her like a needle "Prince Blood Diamond," said Grogar, with a twisted smile, his dagger like teeth now showing in full. As Luna turned to face Grogar, she no longer was going to run. Luna was going to confront what she had been hiding for so long. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5: The Confrontation and the Truth //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5: The Confrontation and the Truth Princess Celestia finished her third slice of cake. She then decided to go check on Princess Luna. Celestia got up from the table and began to walk down the Hallway Luna left, not knowing what trouble Luna was currently in. ****** Meanwhile Princess Luna was confronting Grogar, about what he said. Luna spoke back with full aggression, "Thou dare speakth his name to us!!" now speaking in full Royal Canterlot voice. "Temper, temper, Luna," Grogar said, as he giggled, "Thou will leave us alone, NOW!!!!" Luna was now yelling at the dark blue goat. But Grogar just stood unfazed, as he stared back at her. Then he spoke back with malicious in his voice, "You threaten me, I have lived for far more millenniums then both you and Celestia combined, I have lived long enough to see the far distant future become the long forgotten past, and have been there to write plenty of it myself," "So don't you dare assume that your threats faze me, I am here to complete the deal that your husband made at the end of the Wedding," Grogar said, as his words stabbed at Luna like knifes. "the Deal was to bring you back from the dead, when you were killed during the Wedding, when Prince Blood Diamond thew his blade at your soon to be husband, and you jumped in the way of the blade," Grogar stepped forward, "After that your husband killed Prince Blood Diamond, and use the prince's life force to bring you back from the dead, but he needed somepony or some goat to open the door to the other side to pull you out, so he could place Prince Blood Diamond in your place,". Princess Luna was not going to hear this any longer as she grabbed a nearby knife and charged at him. Luna swung the the knife over and over. But some how Grogar instantly knew when she grabbed it and dodge every attack. Luna tried in vain to hit him, but it did not matter for he would dodge it no matter how fast she swung. Luna was getting tired by the minute,  with each swing some how making her weaker. As their battle led outside. It seem like there was nopony else around and nopony to help her. Luna felt alone in her fight against Grogar. But then the battle got worse as she was now having a hard time keeping her eyes open, and then. ****** The area slowly started to change, as Princess Luna was now swinging a blade, and fighting what she assumed was still Grogar, as she was now in a new room as it went dark. It got so dark that it was getting hard to see Grogar's face. Luna fought long and far before she realized that the movement of the enemy were now different and now seem more familiar. Luna knock the enemy back, and use her magic to light up the room. Luna's face darken in terror as she realized who she was now fighting. Luna knew this fighting style all to well, for the one she was now fighting was her beloved husband, "No, not this memory," Luna spoke with utter terror in her voice. "But Luna this is the Memory of when you learned the truth about the Deal and realized your Husband was to far gone, in his madness," said the voice, the same voice from that other dream, "No it wasn't like that," Luna said, in almost tears, "What do you mean? He didn't love you no more," the voice replied, "No he always loved me, and I loved him," Luna replied, as she fought, while regretting each attack. "Then why were you fighting him," said the Voice, "Because this is just a dream, nothing more, no matter what I did, it was not going to change the way the battle ended," Luna said with full tears, "You mean you would not want to do things differently in the end," said the Voice, "Of course there are so many things I would wanted to change," said Luna, "Then why not make things different, why not let him live, instead of killing him," said the Voice, "Because he wanted to finish the deal, and the curse needed to end," said Luna, "You think you saved him by killing him, don't you Luna," said the Voice, "No, but at least this way I did not have to hate him," said Luna, "Hate him," said the Voice, "The Deal was in exchange for Grogar resurrecting me from the dead, my beloved had to complete a mission fifty years later, he never told me what it was until, Grogar got impatient on waiting and threaten the children, then my beloved had to complete the deal, and that's when he told me," said Luna, as she continued the battle, "And did you agree," said the Voice, "Of course not, deal was to either let any and all children of our bloodline become part of Grogar's immortal army, or kill my sister, both I could not do, but he was willing to kill my sister," said Luna, "So why did he choose to kill your sister?" said the Voice, "I don't know why," said Luna, "You want know the truth, because he loved you," said the Voice, "What?" Luna said, with confusion as battle came to it end. Her husband was now at the far end of the room with a blade ready. "He fought, knowing full well what choice had to be made, that if he killed your children, you would never forgive him, but if he killed Celestia, your hate would only last for so long," said the Voice, "What?" said Luna, "And he was going to wait for you, to forgive him," said the Voice, "Why would I forgive him?" said Luna, "Because he believed in the that the love between you and him, would be gone but not forgotten, and whether it took thousands years or millions years, he would wait forever, for you to forgive him," said the Voice, as the image of her husband charged forward, "He would wait, for me," said Luna, "Yes, but throughout all of this, there was another choice he could have made, that you can make now," said the Voice, "What? Tell me," said Luna, "I will, but first I think this battle should end differently don't you think so," said the Voice, "I would but this is but a dream, and not real, there is nothing I can do to change it," said Luna, "But there is, just let it go," said the Voice, as if it was pointing at the blade that she was holding, Luna then dropped the blade, And with that her husband reach the end of the battle where Luna was to kill him. But this time Luna just simply wrapped her wings around him, just he use to do. And instead of killing him, she held him close. As they pull in for a kiss. ****** As Princess Celestia reach the Kitchen. Her face was fill with horror as the place was now covered in Blood. And a large blood trail the lead to the Everfree Forest. Celestia followed the trail as quickly as she could, hoping that Luna was okay. Meanwhile Princess Luna snapped out of the dream. Only to find herself in the Castle of the Two Sisters. Luna found herself in a strange room she had never seen before. Which was strange, because she knew the Castle inside and out. But strangest was yet to happen, for in front of her was a Sacrificial Altar, and chained to it was Grogar. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 6: The Murderous Nightmare //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 6: The Murderous Nightmare Grogar slowly woke up, trying to figure out what happened. He remembered that he confronted Princess Luna, about the Deal. Then she attacked him and sure he dodge the first attacks. But then whether then her get weaker she was stronger and faster as if somepony else was controlling her movements. Grogar now found himself now covered in cuts and bruises, and was now chain to a Sacrificial Altar. As he looked Princess Luna was still seemly out of like she was in some sort of trance. And what was worst was that the Unseen Evil was now seemly hovering over Luna. It was almost like it was trying to take over her. At first it seem like Luna was arguing with it. Grogar could not figure out what they were arguing about. But what was clear to him was that he had been betrayed. So he laughed manically with little breathe he had, at the fact somepony had actually double crossed him. Grogar had been alive since the very first Dark Alicorns were born. And he had only been betrayed one other time, and that was when his Empire of Tambelon was token from him by his own children and banished it to another Dimension. Grogar looked around to try to figure out where he was at. The tapestry seemed old, but they looked like they were clearly from another place. The Room was circular and had an opening in the roof, that seem to pointed toward the sky where the Sun would be at noon. Grogar looked around the walls. As it seemed to be covered in pictures of Ancient History. He knew it was Ancient History, because he was there for a lot of those events. Watching the events pass by, or secretly getting involved. The next thing that Grogar noticed were the strange incantation for a spell written on the walls over the pictures. ****** Princess Luna soon awoke from her trance, in still a bit of a daze. As she tried to get up. Luna looked around and saw Grogar chained to a Sacrificial Altar. Luna slowly got up, and walked over to him. Wondering why was he chain there. Luna stepped closer to him. Luna began to speak, "Grogar... what is going on here? Why is thou chained?" Luna said, while barely able to talk. Luna did not know what was wrong with her, she barely had control of her body, as it move toward the center where the Sacrificial Altar was at. "Luna isn't this what you wanted," said the Voice that was now speaking to Princess Luna while she was awake. "What?" Luna stated in confusion, "What's wrong Luna, are you going to take revenge, or not," said the Voice, with eager anticipation, "What do you mean-" Luna replied, "She means for you to kill me," Grogar said, as he interrupted Luna, "Yes Luna kill him and we can use his his life force to resurrect your beloved husband," said the Voice, Princess Luna then forced herself to stop. As she pondered whether she should. Luna loved her husband greatly, but he was still a tyrant, and bringing him back would not change that. And another reason whether it would it be right. If Luna agreed to this, even though Grogar was evil, it would still be cold blooded murder. Sure Luna had kill before, in battles, in wars, but never for revenge. Luna did not know what to do. Princess Luna pondered, and pondered, meanwhile the Voice whispering in her head every second. She would love to see her husband back. If not just to be loved again, but to have somepony to talk to who always understood Luna and her nights. That way she would no long be alone. Finally a few mins before noon was soon to arrive, Luna had made up her mind. Or more or less, the Voice "helped" her make up her mind. Princess Luna stepped forward once again and made her way to the center. Once there Luna grabbed the knife that she had been fighting with. And prepared to commit murder. "Luna you have to realize that the voice is using you, she is lying to you," Grogar pleaded. "Why should we believe you, you deceived our husband for years and then you drove him mad, you took the only pony who understood me and loved me, the only one who even care for me," Luna spoke back, with tears starting to form on her face. "You can't really think that, I mean, I am certain there other ponies who care about you," Grogar pleaded again, "No there was nopony else," Luna stated, "She is filling your head with lies, there had to somepony else," Grogar pleaded even more, "THERE WAS NOPONY AT ALL, YOU DON'T WHAT FEEL TO BE IGNORE BY SO MANY, our own parents even ignored us, they all idolize our sister, thought she was the best thing to happen to this kingdom," Luna shouted with face now covered in tears, "You being lied to Queen Luna," Grogar pleaded once more for her to listen, "We will not be ignored any more, we shall resurrect him, and WE WILL NO LONG BE ALONE!!!!!!" Luna was now yelling even loud, as lifted the knife, "YOU FOOLISH MARE, she is lying to you, I done many resurrection spells in my time, so I know a resurrection spell when I see it and this is not a resurrection spell," Grogar pleaded one final time, "Of course thou would lie, legend said that thou have lied and deceived for many millenniums, but no more thou ancient life end NOW!!!!" Luna shouted as she impaled the knife into Grogar's chest, killing him. ****** Princess Celestia follow the trail of blood till she reached the Castle of the Two Sisters. She followed the trail inside till she reach the main hall. Celestia was worried about her sister. All Celestia knew was that something bad had happen. And all her fear were coming true as saw she Princess Luna walk into the main hall, her hooves covered in blood. But it was not Luna's blood it was somepony else. Celestia pleaded with her sister, "Luna, please tell me who's blood is that?..... Please tell me you didn't kill somepony,". No answer, so Celestia tried pleading again. But this time it was met with maniacal laughter, as Luna laugh even louder and louder till the whole hall filled with the echoes. "Poor, Poor, Celestia still so worried for your sister," Luna spoke, but seemingly in a different tone, as if somepony else was talking for her, "Luna what's wrong with you, you are not sounding right," Celestia said in a worried tone "Oh dear nothing sister, we just finally tired of being in somepony else shadow, feared by all and not loved," Luna said in hiss, "Luna that's not true, there were many that love you, your mentor King Morpheus of the Changelings thought of you as like a daughter, Snowdrop thought of you as like a second mother, and your Husband loved you enough to sacrifice so much to bring you back from the dead when you were killed, don't you see Luna there many that loved-" Celestia pleaded with sister, before getting interrupted by Luna, "AND WHAT HAPPEN TO THEM?!?!?!?!" Luna was now yelling, Princess Celestia just frozen at the fact she could not answer without making things worst, but then Luna did continue anyway. "King Morpheus was banished by our father and uncle, because what his sister did, and when I pleaded with them, they ignored me," "When Snowdrop dying of sickness, I pleaded with you to let me healer her, and you told me no, because you believed it was her time," "And let us not forget my husband, who loved me enough to commit the most evil taboos just to save my life, and for that we had to kill him," Princess Celestia just stood there hearing those words knowing to be true every single one. "But Luna there was nothing that could be done to stop those events," "You could have tried, but no, it look like you're not worthy to rule, it seem there is room for one ruler in Equestria...AND IT SHALL BE ME!!!!" Luna stated as she stomped on the stairway causing it to break. The massive crack went up the wall and tore a hole in the roof. As noon had finally arrived. Back at the Sacrificial Altar. The Sunlight enter through the roof and shined upon Grogar's bloody body, as the true purpose of the spell was realized. Princess Luna then lifted the Moon over the Sun into an Eclipse, as the spell was now activated, transferring Grogar's power up to the Moon and then down to Luna. Transforming her complete as the unseen ally took a fiscal gas like form and wrapped around Luna turning her coat black, as light blue armor appeared on her, her eyes became slits and she increased in height to match Princess Celestia. And with that Luna was gone. Luna's body was now under the complete control of the evil force. And then, all the openings to the room closed shut. Sealing away Grogar's body for should he ever come back from the dead. He would be trapped in there. Until somepony let him out, which was unlikely since only a few that knew of the room's existence. Since it was there before the Castle of Two Sisters even was built. ****** "Luna?" Celestia spoke in horror as she witnessed the Transformation. But with a great boastfulness in her voice the evil proclaimed, "Luna is gone, I am Nightmare Moon, Queen of Nightmares," "Luna, What is the meaning of this?" Celestia said, "Fine then 'Sister' if you must know, I am going to kill you, and then I will rule over all as Queen," Nightmare Moon threaten. "Luna you can't mean this," Celestia said in confusion, as she began to tremble. "But I do Celestia," Nightmare Moon proclaim as she launched a fury of magical blasts, at Princess Celestia. Celestia dodge them and took to the Sky as the daylight began to vanish. Celestia looked in horror as she flew as darkness slowly swept over the land like a blanket. Nightmare Moon flew after Celestia while continued the fury of magical blasts as Celestia tried her best to dodge. "Luna stop this now, can't you see what your doing to the land," Celestia said, as she continued to dodge, Princess Celestia kept dodging the attacks as they flew threw the sky. Celestia wanted this evil to end, but she did not want it costing her sister's life. Celestia was trying to think of a way to stop Nightmare Moon without killing her sister. But she could not think of one, at all. But then what Celestia should have been doing, was paying attention to the battle. As Nightmare Moon teleported in front of Celestia and blasted with a direct attack. Celestia could only counter it with her own magical blast. Both magical blasts hit head on clashing in a magical shock wave. The magical shock wave shot out launching with enough force, that it actually knock both Alicorn. And when the dust settled, and all could be seen. Nightmare Moon was the only one left in the sky. As for Celestia, the magical shock wave had sent her crashing back into the Castle of the Two Sisters, in the room, where the Elements of Harmony were being held. They had been there since the defeat of Discord. And it seem now they were needed, again. "Soon Celestia you will die and once the spell is complete, everypony in Equestria shall fall into an eternal sleep that will last forever, and with them all asleep they will suffer an eternity of Nightmares, and with each nightmare I shall grow stronger and stronger till my power rivals that of the great titans of old," Nightmare Moon said, as she got ready to send one final attack. As Princess Celestia got up and realize what room she was in. Celestia looked back up to her sister, pleading one final last time with tears forming, "Luna please fight it, please don't make me do this, I was already forced to use it on my beloved Discord, please don't make me use it on my own beloved sister," Nightmare Moon simply replied back with a psychotic laugh, and then said, "Celestia I do not fear you, I know you wouldn't dare use the Elements of Harmony on your own sister," Nightmare Moon then flew forward ready to kill Princess Celestia. Tears were now over flowing in Celestia's eyes. "Luna please," "I told you she is gone," "Luna please," "Luna won't hear you," "Forgive me" And with that Princess Celestia unleashed the power of the Elements of Harmony. Which then shot a massive rainbow blast, launching Nightmare Moon up into space and imprisoning her with in the Moon. //-------------------------------------------------------// Epilogue: Mourning of the Light and the Shadows //-------------------------------------------------------// Epilogue: Mourning of the Light and the Shadows Princess Celestia made her way back to Canterlot. Still covered in tears and not quite ready to tell the citizens what happen. When Celestia arrived she went to her room, and stayed in there for three days. As the ponies try to coup with no rulers. For Celestia was not want to rule without Luna by her side. It wasn't until a letter arrived from an unknown address, for Princess Celestia. She read the letter and the went back to her duties. But she never told anypony who the letter was from. But did not matter to them for they were simply glad to have a ruler again. What Princess Celestia definitely did not tell is, that she now had a plan to save her sister from Nightmare Moon. But it would take time, and with her immortally she was willing to wait. Especially since she was all ready waiting for Discord's eventual return and it look like she would have to waiting for time when the Dragon Egg to be hatched now. That is what the letter told her that the Dragon Egg that Princess Luna had found during her journey to the West would show Celestia the one that would help her save her sister. It would be a unicorn that could hatch the Dragon Egg, and that Unicorn would go on to lead a group of friends, that would not only wield the Elements of Harmony, to there true potential, but would also save her sister and stop many evils. Indeed Princess Celestia now had a plan, and all she need to do now was wait until this Unicorn appeared. No matter how long it took whether it would be ten years, a hundred years, or a thousand years. For she knew she could trust the letter. She still would not tell anypony where the letter came from. And truth was it was a matter of faith, and that only time would tell if the letter was telling the truth. ****** Meanwhile all around Equestia there was uneasiness in the night. Especially in the cold snow of the North, as the Shadows from all across Equestria gathered to quaked in sorrow for lose of the Princess of the Night. They all gathered all the shadows that had watching over Luna. They were always never able to intervene only to watch. Their Leader mourned for his wife's imprisonment. He was unable to do anything given that he no longer had a physical form. He could not even be seen any more. Or so he thought as it seem that the Nightmare Force was not completely lying to Princess Luna when it said that the spell would bring him back. For what little time that the Nightmare Force was gathering strength. And now with Nightmare Moon imprisoned the dark magic that was harvested from the Nightmares, now had nowhere left to go so the Shadows gathered it up and brought it to their Leader. Now finally with this dark magic for what little there was had the right amount of darkness and fear, that he could use it to slowly pull himself back to the physical plane. As the Shadows gathered the dark magic to the of humongous circle that had laid by their own shapes. And as the Incantation being shaped by the Shadows, the Spell was being chanted. As a great blizzard began to form as their Leader took physical form once again. His massive Dark Alicorn wings form first, like huge shadows they blanketed the area. Then his body formed still wearing the Armor he had on when he died, and his bloody red royal cape formed which then pulled in his wings so they would always stay hidden. So nopony would think he was a Dark Alicorn, only that he was a tall dark gray Unicorn with a flowing black mane. And finally his face took form with green and red eyes, and a red curved horn. And with that he was now back, Princess Luna's first love, and beloved husband was now back. The King of Shadows was slowly returning and now all he need to do was wait for his Queen of the Night to return as well. As he looked up at the Moon, he let out a painful wale filled with all the sorrow of losing his beloved, unable stop the Nightmare force from taking her, and unable to stop his mentor and master, Grogar from giving the Nightmare force enough strength to take over his beloved's body. He continued his wales of sorrow for three days. ****** And meanwhile back in the Everfree forest it seem that the King of Shadows was not the only one who did not want to stay dead. As back in the seal room, the Body of Grogar laid on the Sacrificial Altar, seemly still dead to all that would look upon him. But of course he had survived many death and this one would be no different for with time even Grogar would soon be back from the Dead. As shown by a small twitch from Grogar's bell.
