There's no doubt about it. Silver Shadow, her life, it's all gone. Or at least it could be, with one too many drugs, a few deep slits of the wrists, or a push of a gunfire. Canterlot High, a fresh start. New friends, teachers, home, everything. Will the past creep up on her? Or will it forever remain hidden in the deepest, darkest place of her heart.

Silver Shadow was just getting off her black motorcycle, which she had parked just up the curb. She walked over to her new school, Canterlot High. She already felt like running away, to a place with no humans at all, but that was pretty much impossible. Shoot, this school is HUGE. What if I get lost? Or run into jerks on my way to class! Okay, Okay, calm down, you can do this. I'm gonna be okay. Just stay cool. And avoid guys, ALL guys. Don't look at them. They mean nothing to you.

She looked up at her school. It was pretty nice, in her opinion. Maybe, with luck, she could make it through without running into any jerks. She felt kinda at home, to be honest. She thought this place might suit her well. She could see a puffy, weird looking shadow coming from behind. Her heart was beating faster than a mo-

"HI. MY NAMES PINKIE PIE. BUT PEOPLE JUST CALL ME PINKIE. YOU MUST BE NEW SINCE I'VE NEVER SEEN YOU HERE BEFORE AND I KNOW EVERYBODY, AND I MEAN EVERBODY HERE AT CANTERLOT HIGH. OOO, I LIKE YOUR SILVER UNDER LAYER. OH, I FORGOT, WHAT'S YOUR NAME?

"Umm, I..." She couldn't help but notice this strange person had a really annoying high pitched voice. "My name's Silver Shadow, and uh, nice to meet you Pinkie something..." Okay, so one friend down, I think. She said she knows everybody, so maybe I can get on their good side? I don't know. And why the heck does she have ballons attached to her skirt? Well, the bow is kinda cute. Ugh, stop it! Last thing I need is for her to think I'm checking her out, therefore causing everybody to think I'm a lesbian. Not that there's anything wrong with it, but, you know people. And, uh, not gonna say it out loud, but she should comb her hair in the morning...

"Hey, Pinkie Pie, guess what?!" A rainbow hair girl yelled as she ran over to where the two of us were standing. Huh, rainbow hair. I guess it looks kinda cool, but judging by her haircut, she must be a rebel. Her haircut is awesome, I'll give her that.

"Hey, who's this?" Rainbow girl asked Pinkie, pointing towards me.

"This is Silver Shadow, Silver Shadow, this is Rainbow Dash." Huh, makes sense, considering her hair and all. It's so funny Dashie, Sil' here thought that my name was Pinkie Something, oh, newbies." She said, though not in an insulting way.

"Nice hair, the silver makes it look so awesome. I wish I would have inherited some of that from my mom, her grandmother had a strip of silver." Gosh darn it! First day of school and already talking about family. Man, it's so difficult to be me! Man, why do car accidents happen? Stupid humanity... She looked down at her wrists, which were covered up by a long-sleeve shirt. She hoped it wouldn't start bleeding from last night, and quickly turned back to Dash. Yes, that's what she's gonna call her.

"Yea, um thanks. But come on, you have a really awesome haircut, and voice too. I wish mine had some rasp. It makes you sound tough." I gave her a nice little smile, hoping maybe I'd made a good enough impression.

"Thanks, and yea, I'm pretty awesome. Stick with me pal, nobody will mess with you as long as I'm in town." It felt good to have a defender.

"Uh, I'm only saying this so, you don't really hurt my feelings in case we have a certain conversation." I swallowed hard, hoping I wouldn't mess anything up. "My parents, they uh, umm, died? And, you don't have to say anything, you're sorry, I know" I felt really stupid.

"Okay, it's cool, don't worry." The bell then rang. Time for class. "We'll see you around, oh, and sit with us at lunch. You should be able to see us, I'm the only rainbow head around here." She then smiled and walked away with Pinkie, and she had a serious face. I felt bad for wiping off that big, comforting smile of hers.

So yea, I walked to class, I saw them in a few classes, and teachers talked about stuff I don't care about, but payed attention anyway. They made me say my name, and a few facts about me, and talked about stuff. Blah blah blah. And then lunch came. Thank goodness...

I looked around, and saw Dash, but with 5 other girls I hadn't seen before. I hoped they were nice. "Hey, Applejack, want my spinach?" I heard Dash say, to a blonde with a cowgirl hat? What?

"Sure, oh, and there's this new boy, ah forgot his name actually. But ah invited him to sit with us. Just lettin' y'all know." The cowgirl said, and she had a southern accent. It was kinda weird, but I'm sure with time I'll get used to it.

"Oh, hey Silver, over here!" Pinkie yelled, and gestured for me to come over. And so I went. "Guys, this is Silver Shadow. Sil', this is Applejack, Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Sunset Shimmer." I just smiled, said hi, and sat down next to the nerdy looking one, Twilight, was it?

"Hey, Rainbow, get off of me!" Applejack yelled at Dash, who had jumped onto her lap.

"Never, I'm gonna prove I'm stronger than you, and they shall be my witnesses." She pointed toward us. Applejack then tried to push her off, and almost succeeded, had the table not been there. Rainbow Dash then pushed back down, and started jumping on her.

"Well gee, trying to sexually assault me or something?" Everybody laughed, they laughed so hard it even attracted other people's attention. And people who were just watching them were laughing to their hearts content. I didn't.

"THAT'S NOT FUNNY! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MANY PEOPLE SUFFER BECAUSE OF STUPID PEOPLE LIKE THAT?! I yelled, and it attracted almost everybody in the cafeteria. And I made a fool of myself. "I'm sorry" I said, and sat back down.

Applejack waited until the room filled with chatter again, probably of me, and asked a question I was hoping would never be asked again. "Have you, have you been raped before?" My heart started beating fast, but I couldn't avoid it now.

"Well, I mean, no. Not no exactly. You see it just kinda, well sorta, but not exactly, I was just, I never, I mean it only-

Applejack put her hand in front of my face. "Just answer the damn question."

"Yes."

"Who?"

"A supposed friend I used to have, until he betrayed me."

"Bastard. Well, I'm sorry about that joke. It was perverted and stupid."

"It's okay."

The bell rang again, and it was time for gym, unfortunately. I hoped it was nothing too harsh this time around. It was dodgeball, a game that was created in hell. Why is it so difficult to be me!
