After they met; A filling of the blanks story
Some adjustments will be required
"Make that the second strangest thing." Princess Twilight said as her human counterpart waved at her sheepishly
" Princess Twilight Sparkle meet Twilight Sparkle of this world. She just transferred here the day before and is going to be with us from now on. " Sunset said with a smile as she put her arm around human Twilight
" Um..Hi.. I guess you are the reason everyone was so nice to me when I first got here.. This meeting does explain quite a few things even though they did give me a little heads up... I hope you don't mind me being here because even though I've not been here long I really like it here and everyone is being nice to me even though I turn into a raging magical she-demon for a short time. " Human Twilight said with a shy smile
" Beg pardon? " Princess Twilight asked with a confused look
" That's because it was not all your own fault but enough of that right now; We got a more pressing problem now. We now have two Twilight Sparkles and while our world's Twilight does need to wear glasses and likes to wear her hair in a bun which helps us tell the difference between the two when we are looking at them... We still have a same name problem here and we need to come up with something we can use without saying Princess Twilight all the time. " Rainbow Dash said
" Hmm.. Very good point we will have to do something in the way of naming them different but maybe we should leave it up to our world's Twilight since in a way she's the new girl here. Any ideas human Twilight? " Sunset asked as she looked at Human Twilight thoughtfully.
Human Twilight looked very thoughtful.. " Ah! I got it! You can use my last name when you are addressing me.. Just call me Sparkle and I'm sure over time that is what everyone will call me when they see the Twilight with the glasses on.. If you know what I'm saying here but it is going to take some getting used too having two of me running around once in awhile." Sparkle said
" Sparkle huh?...Works for me! " Rainbow Dash said as all the others but Princess Twilight nodded.
" We might even be able to use the same system if the pony counterparts ever need to come here for some reason. In any case I think that solves our naming problem. " Sunset said as a few nodded
" We will need to wear different clothes too! But oh I can't with to see what my pony self looks like in some of my dresses! " Rarity said as she clapped her hands together as she dreamed of the two of them running around in different clothes.
" Hold on here a second! How did this happen? When did this happen? And more importantly what was that part about becoming a raging magical she-demon? Princess Twilight asked
The humans all looked at each other in a knowing way and nodded.
" You may want to sit down for this one and join our picnic.. We got plenty of sandwiches to go around." Sunset said
Twilight sat down looking like she wasn't sure if she even wanted to hear this one. " Something tells me this is going to be one strange story. "
' You'll need this!" Pinkie said as she handed Twilight a notebook and pencil.
"I'll do it since you are still not used to using your hands like that and this story is a bit of a doozy. " Applejack said helpfully as she took it from her..
" I don't know about Sparkle's side of the story yet but for us it really all started when Rainbow Dash called us....." Sunset went on to tell their side of the story.
" Wow.. I turned.. I mean she.. I mean.. OH bother! This really is going to take getting used too.. So...Sparkle...What's your side of this story? Maybe that'll help me wrap my head around this better. " Twilight said as she looked at her human counterpart..
" It all started when I was walking my dog Spike one day and I saw this very strange looking rainbow in the sky but I didn't know what it was magic at the time and I quickly started studying it because I was curious but it really didn't start until principal Cinch called on me.. " Sparkle went to tell her side of the story and she also added the part about her being at the Dazzling vs Rainbooms even though they never saw her and she added other details that told the girls that maybe they were meant to be together after all.
" I see, I see.. Weill that does clear things up some and I really shouldn't have been so surprised that there is a me in this world when I have the same friends as you have now.. Well except For Sunset Shimmer.. I kind-of envy you there because the two of you can see a lot more of each other than I ever will.. That is unless Sunset decides to return or maybe the human one will somehow end up a pony in my world.. Wouldn't that be a weird twist? In any case I'm sure you'll pick on how to be a friend in no time with these girls to help you Sparkle. " Twilight
Sunset looked startled for a second and wondered if there was a human Sunset as she never thought of it before. She did hope that they would NEVER meet because that would be too awkward for herself seeing she learned to really like it here and really saw no reason to ever leave though she did hope to someday return to at least tell Celestia.
Sunset looked at her friends and now understood it was her making friends that made her feel at home here and maybe in time this world's twilight would feel the same. She hoped so. It felt kind-of good to have someone she could relate to more than the others.
" Thanks; I'm already feeling at home here... Say is your brother married to Cadance too? " Sparkle suddenly curious to know more about this other Twilight's life.
" Totally married! . " Twilight said with a smile
" And the wedding was almost a complete disaster! " They both said and laughed together and Twilight quickly learned that it had been the wedding planner's fault who just happen to have the same name as a certain Changeling who caused the mess for her own brother's wedding and it didn't take long for them to put two and two together and see it was fate for the near disaster to happen in both worlds.
" Ok.. Now that's just super freaky but I have been wondering what I have in common with my pony self." Rainbow Dash hinted she wanted to know more.
" I promise to tell you more and maybe can even plan for us all to meet since this already happened but we may want to arrange something a little more organized but for now I want to learn more about Sparkle's life so I can write to Princess Celestia about it." Twilight said
" I guess I can understand that.. Well except for that princess Celestia part. As long as I learn what we have in common and what we don't have in common." Rainbow Dash said
Sparkle suddenly looked very thoughtful for a second as if considering something she didn't think of a second ago.. " umm.. Twilight.. I think I may have made a HUGE mistake! Even bigger than me turning into a she-demon; There was this boy that somehow knew me from before and at the meeting party I kind-of blurted out I didn't like him and that may effect your friendship with him and I think we need to talk to him together about it. "
" You met Flash? " Twilight asked as she looked at Sparkle as the others looked surprised as they didn't know the two had met.
" I really didn't ask for his name.. All I know is that he somehow knew my name like everyone else here did but I didn't know why until now and we need to fix this while we can and I'm sorry for this... Really, really sorry for this.... Rainbow Dash just made me see that we may have a few... Differences.. The kind that can't be seen." Sparkle looked very uncomfortable.
" Well actually that's pretty understandable; I mean if I was suddenly thrust into a situation that I didn't know all the answers to I'd make mistakes like that. ; it's how we grow as a person and a pony and besides if we go together we can fix it quickly." Twilight said
" Then let's fix this mistake and while we go find Flash you can tell us a bit about our pony selves. " Applejack said
Spike came up to Twilight.. " Hey umm Princess Twilight right?; Can I talk there too? ' Spike asked causing Twilight's jaw to drop a bit and then she closed it when she remembered the story.
" Oh wow! He really can talk now.. You'll want to be careful about that one here. As for you talking.. Yes and you're a dragon there.. Not too sure why he becomes a dog when he comes here but then again I do become a human.. Guess it just the way things are; I'm just glad I was able convince him that this wasn't going to be some dangerous mission and wouldn't take long; This is confusing enough as it is. " Twilight said thoughtfully.
" Wait! I'm not a dog there but I'm a dragon? But I like being a dog and yet being a dragon does sound kind-of cool.. I wonder if I could.. Naw I like being a dog more.. I mean how else am I going to lick my Twilight's face when I'm happy to see her? Spike said more than asked as he wagged his tail and jumped into Sparkle's arms and gave her face a lick.
" Oh Spike! " Sparkle said with a giggle and was joined by Twilight who after a second or two of hesitation petted him.
" For some reason this don't feel awkward at all.. I guess it's because this Spike likes being a dog. " Twilight said
" We better go find Flash if we are going to fix the mistake Sparkle here made...Besides I got a question to ask Sparkle I just thought of asking. " Rainbow Dash.
They soon found Flash in the place where the Rainbooms practiced looking a little down in the dumps.
" Flash! ; It's me Twilight!" Said Twilight as soon as she saw him even though he was not facing her.
" Twilight?! I thought you said... What the? Twilight and Twilight? Flash said as soon as he turned around.
" We can explain but please call me Sparkle and remember that I'm not the same Twilight you knew ; You can tell the difference by glasses I have to wear but there are other differences I'm sure. Sparkle
One long story later.
" Aw man; I should've guessed that was going on but I guess I didn't because I wanted to see Twilight.. I'm glad you don't hate me Twilight ." Flash said with a blush
Twilight blushed " I could never hate you Flash. "
"Hmm.. Seems to me that I was wrong and that there may be more going on her than friendship here." Sparkle said with a knowing smile
" You just may be right about one." Applejack said with a smirk
" No,no; We are just friends. I'm just glad we were able to fix this mess with Flash but you didn't have to tell him you hated him Sparkle. " Twilight said as she looked at her other self
" I didn't but I suppose saying I don't like him could've led him to think that I did hate him; As for you Flash I'm sure you're nice guy and all but I got a lot to learn about friends here and I'm nowhere near really for anything beyond friendship and it's nothing personal but I got to admit I'm surprised that other self here likes you because you don't seem to be my type or maybe it's because I still got a lot to learn.. I guess there really are some differences here.. " Sparkle said with small smile.
" That's ok. now that I know it wouldn't feel right treating you the same way I treat the Twilight I know but I promise from now on I'll treat you as yourself and not the Twilight Sparkle I know." Flash said with a big smile
" I guess that's a start" Sparkle said
" Speaking of differences here.. Now that we got all this settled and you're going to hang around us you have to join our band and for that to happen I need to know if you can play anything and please don't say you can only play the piano or something like that because then it would be a lot harder for you to join our band." Rainbow Dash said as she looked at Sparkle.
" Well I do know how to play the piano but... " Sparkle picked up a saxophone and was soon playing it as good as any Sax player they ever heard.
" I also play a pretty good Sax if I do say myself" Sparkle said as everyone but Spike looked at her slack jawed in amazement.
"Boy I'll say you can! Best sax I've heard in a long time!...I don't suppose that you can.. " Rainbow Dash asked as she looked at Twilight
" Nope! Can't play the sax for the life of me! That's pure Sparkle there! " Twilight said with a happy smile because knowing that Sparkle had this kind of difference made her strangely happy.
" That's all I needed to hear! You're in Sparkle! Let's jam!" Rainbow Dash said as the rest of the band quickly joined in.
Twilight picked up Spike and held him her arms as the three of them heard them play
Spike quickly licked Twilight.. " This Twilight tastes like carrots instead of hamburgers ... I like hamburgers better.." Spike said
" Oh Spike!" Twilight said with a laugh...
