//-------------------------------------------------------// My Little Woona. -by Faint Abril Darkness- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// My Little Woona //-------------------------------------------------------// My Little Woona I think this is one of the most serious fics you'll ever get from me...well, here it is. I decided to write this, after reading "My Little Dashie" My life... Everyday I live is another day of hell on Earth for me. My parents died. My friends and family all moved away. When the government came in, wanting the whole neighborhood for a factory of some kind. They paid everybody to move out, so they could build.  Me and about three others were the only ones who didn't leave. I didn't leave, because I had inherited, and moved into, my parent's house. Even through all the thick and thin, I stayed. My neighborhood was left in the worst condition. Trash was everywhere, and almost every house was abandoned. Except for a certain few. My house was at the end of a block, a mile or two away from my sucky job. I had to walk there, everyday, just to make a few bucks. There was only one real thing that kept me going. Ponies. I am a brony, and proud of it. My favorite pony is Luna, because I can relate to her in season 2. Nobody liked her, and tried to minimize contact with her. They even had thought that she was still evil, after she was freed by the Elements of Harmony. She had nobody, except Twilight and Celestia. I had always wish that I could have someone comfort me. I live in a dead neighborhood. The city itself is just dying. Everyone is leaving, dying, or just doing nothing. There are abandoned buildings everywhere you go. The sidewalks are crumbling, plants are invading every nook and cranny there is, and there is so much graffiti on things, what is was supposed to be originally can't even be told. I walk a lot. I go on walks, because I don't have much else to do. I hardly ever see or meet a person on said walks, and when I do, they are usually in a hurry for something. Or rude. Or sad. I can sometimes see a new person, who becomes my friend, until he moves away a couple days later. I do have video games to play, but those don't help much anymore. They aren't as fun or useful, seeing as how it is only me I can play them with. I have given up hope on a lot of things, and life is one of them. I don't kill myself, because I made a promise to my parents. I have to find happiness in my life at sometime, or die trying. I told them I would do it, because they had a lot of happiness in their lives. Every time I watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, I think I have found it. Then, I remember that it can end at anytime, and is a TV show. When I am on my computer, and I see the happy faces of the ponies, it makes me happy And then I get even more depressed, seeing as how I they have everything I want. Friendship. Someone who is there for you, no matter what. They also have relationships, happiness, kindness, and family. It makes me jealous of them. Sometimes, I even try to touch them, to reach out to them, and feel their furry coats. To be with them, in their near-perfect world. Sure, they have problems now and then, but they can easily get through them. I even did literally try to reach out, but was stopped by my computer screen, and reality, who gave he a hard buck in the face. "Hey idiot, THEY ARE NOT REAL!" He screams at me. No matter how many times this happens, I still try. To get to my own paradise. Where the colors are brighter, the grass is greener, and there is peace and happiness. I even cringe sometimes at seeing their colorful world, as it is too perfect, and is a tease. It breaks my heart to know that they have all that I want. I am so close to them, yet so far way. Why must everything good happen to other people? Or ponies, in this case. "DAVION! GET YOUR LAZY ASS BACK TO WORK, NOW!" My thoughts were interrupted by my boss, yelling in my face. I rolled my eyes, sighed, and went back to work as a cashier at the local supermarket. *Hours later, sundown* Tonight was a normal, boring night. I was walking down the street to my house, when I heard something. It sounded like...Snoring? I walked closer to the source of the sound, as I found out, it was coming from near a bush. More specifically, a box behind a bush. The closer I got, the louder the snoring got. I noticed a note on the side: Keep her safe. I raised one eyebrow, and looked in. What I saw made me think I was crazy. There was a filly Luna, sleeping in the box. Now, being a calm Twenty-Three year old, I decided that I was just imagining it. I started to walk away, but stopped when I heard it wake up. It yawned, and I turned around. It was looking at me, and stopped mid-yawn. I started to walk away again, because it looked afraid of me. Then I stopped again. If it really was Luna, then she might need some help, being so young. I turned and looked at her, now fully awake. "Don't worry...I won't hurt you, but you need to get out of this cold." She seemed to understand me, so I picked up the adorable, deep blue alicorn into my arms. She moved around, her wings and horn poking me so she could get more comfortable. To top off all the cuteness, she rested her head on my right arm and curled up against me. It was dark now, and it was cold. She finally stopped moving around completely, and also stopped shivering. I think she fell asleep, because I heard a very light snore. My head was full of D'Aww. I smiled and sped up, trying to get her out of this cold weather. We reached my house in a matter of minutes. I pulled out the keys, unlocked the door, and went in. I set her down on my couch in front of my TV, under a blanket, grinning the whole time. She is so adorable! I decided just to leave her alone, for now. I left and I went and make some vegetarian ramen noodles in the kitchen. I liked beef, but these were the only ones I had left. I only had about 3-4 bags. I walked back into the living room, to see Luna wide awake. She was exploring her surroundings, and I stopped and we stared at each-other, until her stomach growled. "Huh. Guess you're hungry?" She just stared at me, but nodded slowly. I smiled and tried to approach her. She was scared at first, but I eventually got to sit down next to her. "These are ramen noodles. It is kinda hard to eat them at first, but I'll show you how. Be right back." I went to get another fork and returned in a matter of seconds. I took the bowl in my hand, stuck my fork in it, and twisted a bit. When I felt there were enough strands of noodles on it, I lifted it and stuffed it into my mouth. I only chewed a couple of times, and swallowed. I smiled at her, and handed her the bowl. She did everything I did, except she used magic to life the fork and twist it and all. "See? Not too hard. You can have those, I'll go make some more." We spent the rest of that night watching movies, more specifically Dr. Who Generation 3 complete set. We also talked about how different our worlds were. She was smart, but I still had to explain things in simplest terms. I even gave her a tour of my house, even though there wasn't much to see. Eventually, we both got tired again at about 2:00 am. I yawned, and took her to my small bed. "You can sleep here." Luna replied by yawning, and falling asleep curled into a blue ball of cuteness. I smiled again, and went to the couch were I would sleep. Then I thought something. I walked back into my room, quietly, and got the plushie Celestia doll from my wall of MLP merchandise. It only had about 5 or 6 things on it. By now Luna had woke up, so I set the doll down next to her. She slowly grabbed onto it, hugged it close, and went back to sleep. My life is starting to get way better already. ========================================================== 3 Years later. ========================================================== "C'mon Luna! I know you can do it!" I had been teaching Luna to fly for about three months, by showing her videos of everything that flies, from planes to birds. She was getting better, lifting off the ground higher and higher each week. Today was the day that I felt she could go the whole 50 feet that was her goal. Something I think i should say though, is that ponies mature faster than humans. About twice as fast, so she was already eight years old, pony time. She was about a foot taller than before, and way more mature with her speech. As in, she could talk full sentences easily. I came back to reality when she whistled. We were in a park, not too far from our house, and Luna was getting ready to fly again.  She nodded at me. "Okay Dad! I will do this for you!" She looked up at the sky with confidence, and closed her eyes. She began to gallop and flap her wings. At first, she got only a few feet off the ground. Then, she got progressively higher. 5 feet... 10 feet... 15 feet... 20 feet... 30 feet... 45 feet... 60 feet! Luna went over 50 feet, and was still going strong! "Good job Luna! You reached your goal!" I called to her as she started to descend. "Really? I did! Yay!" She hugged me. I couldn't help but smile for the millionth time since she has been living with me. If you are wondering, I have shown her MLP. She loved it, but was a tad bit upset she wasn't there more. She understood why, but couldn't help it. "I kinda want to go home now. I'm really tired, and just want to lay back, and play some Halo 4." Oh. Right. I did also show her video games. "Sure Luna. I'm guessing forge?" I asked, letting her go. "Nope. Cooperative campaign!" I nodded in approval. She smiled back at me, and we left the park. Luna, now that I think about it, is most interested in MLP, learning to fly and use magic, and video games. Sometimes, she would go online and own some noobs, as she would say. She never cussed though, because she knew I didn't allow it. Yet. ================================================= 5 years later, human time. 10 years later, pony time. ================================================= "LLLLLLLLLLLLLuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Guess what!" I called for Luna. We were still in the same house from 8 years ago, but that was about to change. "What dad?" She asked groggily. I had awoken her up, earlier than usual. "See, I wanted to stay here until I died. My plan has now changed. The state is offering us a house in the countryside! They still don't know about you, but they figured I would like to live 'alone' there. It has wide open fields, internet broadcast stations near, and a huge house. They said it was four king-sized rooms, two bathrooms, and a basement! They even fully stocked the kitchen, and will give spare money for bills and food." Her eyes got wider and wider as I talked. "So, what do you say? We accept, to have more room for you, or shall we stay here?" She rolled her eyes. "Come on dad! You already know I would say yes!" She hugged me. "Awesome, because I already accepted. Now, we must pack everything we want." "Really, all I need is the gaming systems, computer, and TV." She said, letting go of me. I laughed. "They have also given us spare money for anything else we might want. We can buy all new stuff." She smiled a huge Pinkie Pie smile, and I called the state back, to tell them I accepted. They brought me a car a few minutes later. Of course, I waited until they left again for me and Luna to get in. There was a suitcase she brought. It held the first pictures of us together, the doll I gave her when she first "moved in", and a package from the box the vegetarian noodles she first ate, back when she was a filly that night. I put it in the trunk for her, and we got into the car. Me in the driver's seat, her in the passenger side. "Wow Luna. It's..It's already been eight years. I still think this might be a long dream, but if it is, I never want to wake up." I said as I looked back at the old house. Luna said nothing, but I swear I saw her tear up. "I-I..Thank you so much dad..." She started to cry. I reached over and patter her on the back. The way she sat in the seat made it harder, but I did it. "It was no problem. i should really be saying that to you, considering how much you have turned my life around."We both smiled, and I wiped the tears from her cheeks. "Goodbye, old home." Luna whispered, looking back at it. Goodbye, my life-long home. I loved you, and will always miss you. While I still had a picture of my parents, it was still hard to leave the family home. I sighed, and we took off, to a new start, during high noon. ================================================ 2 hour drive later, new house. ================================================ We had moved everything into our new home, even if it really was only a few things. I found which room I wanted, and so did Luna. "So, Luna, what do you want in your new room? We'll probably have it ordered online, so I want to get everything at once." See, we didn't get cah money from the state, but a debit card. Once we ran out of the 1,000,000 dollars we had, that was it. "I really have no idea...Oh! Maybe some stars on the ceiling, and the moon! And then some blue here and there! YES! And a blue set for my bed...This is gonna be so awesome!" I just left her, while chuckling, to think about her ideas. I also had to decorate my room and all, so why not get started? After days of decorating, we finally had it done the way we wanted. "Luna..." "What?" " =============================================== 1 year later, same house. =============================================== Me and Luna were playing some Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, when there was a knock at the door. I raised my eyebrow, and went to go answer. Luna stayed on the couch, but turned so she could see. I opened the door. "Hello, who are y-" I cut mid-sentence, because I was shocked and astounded. Right in front of me, was Celestia herself! A millions questions flooded my mind, and the most predominant one was, "The fuck?" I blushed slightly when I figured out, with the help of the Princess's cocked head and raised eyebrow, that I had said it out loud. "Sorry! Sorry. Just..I-....Nevermind. Come on in!" I opened the door fully, and allowed her to walk in. Then, I noticed the Mane Six, right behind her! Again, "Que?" (What?) Yeah, in Spanish too. Out loud. I scratched my head, shrugged, and closed the door behind them. They all looked around, gasping in shock and awe at me and Luna's house. They finally managed to reach the living room, as I had walked past them, back to Luna. "Um, Luna. There are some people-no, ponies, that want to see you. I think." "Yeah yeah, they can wait until we're do- Did you just say ponies?" "Yes." She stared at me, and I nodded. (Oh, game is still paused BTW) Then they walked in. Luna looked to the left, and stared with curiosity. "The buck?" I did tell her she couldn't cuss, but had to use words that are like them. Like, 'Buck'. I chuckled a bit, because that was my same reaction. "That's what I said," I whispered. All their attentions snapped back down to Luna. "Luna? Is that really you?" Celestia asked. Luna nodded, and Celestia practically teleported to her sister, and hugged her. While she was still on the couch, turned around. D'Awwwww! "Luna, I've missed you so much! We've missed you so much!" Celestia released her from the hug. "It has been way too long, dear little sister." Then she turned to me. "Thank you, so much dear sir. I am very grateful that you found Luna, and kept her safe from any harm. I do not even know how to repay you!" "Well, first, you can all have a seat. Then, you can explain how she got here, how you got here, and why you are here." They all took a seat, and Celestia sat next to Luna. The others sat on different chairs and the other sofa. "See, Mister....Uh..." Twilight began. "My name is Davion. And don't call me 'mister'" "Ok, Davion. Luna was attempting to learn about how to raise the moon. It was hard for her, and when she tried again one afternoon, she got distracted. This made the spell not work, and since she was surprised, she teleported away. She ended up in a a place with bad unicorns, who then proceeded to knock her out, put her in a box, write something in another language, and send it away. We finally traced her to this planted, called Earth, and we had to find a way to teleport through dimensions. The other unicorns were powerful, and smart, so we had them tell us how. Eventually, after practice, we got it right. So, here we are." She concluded by making a hoof gesture in the air. "You are here...To...To take me away?" I turned at Luna, who was tearing up again. "Of course, dear sister. You do not belong here. You belong in Equestria, with us." Celestia gave Luna a warm smile and put a hoof on her shoulder. Luna shook it off, and looked down. "No." She whispered, "No. I-I want to stay here!" She got off the couch and looked at all of them. "I..I don't want to leave!" She started to cry, and ran out the house. "Luna!" Celestia called after her. Now, being very calm, I handled the situation with the up-most of care. "See what the fuck you just did? Now, she's gonna be pissed, sad, and confused for who knows how long! She might not ever come back damnit!" I yelled at Celestia. Then I went after Luna, leaving the rest of the ponies to gasp at my colorful language. To make thing worst, it started to rain! I squinted to through the rain, and barely saw Luna galloping into the forest, not too far from the house. "LUNA!"I tried to yell out to her, but she just kept going. I ran after her at tops speed, with rain soaking me through. When I had finally reached the forest, she was nowhere to be found. My Luna...She was gone... I broke down and started sobbing. This was not the first time I had royally messed up with Luna, but this was the first time she had truly gone away because of it. Now, she probably hated me for it. I just sat there, crying my eyes out under a tree during the rain, cursing myself and Celestia. Nothing changed for about 15 minutes, until I heard a branch snap. I didn't look up. Probably just a stray animal. Even thinking the word animal made me think about her. I looked up. "Why? Why did she leave?!" I yelled at the source of the rain, the dark clouds, "I loved her! And now she's gone!" I starting sobbing again. Until, a few minutes later, I noticed something was crying, on the other side of the tree. I (tried to) stop crying, and walked to the sound. I accidentally stepped on a branch, and the thing was gone before I knew what it was. Knowing it might have been her, I almost started to sob again. Until I felt a nudge on my back. It tickled. I turned, and saw a dream. At least, I hoped I wasn't dreaming. "D-Dad? I-I'm sorry...I...I still love you...It's just...It's too much, all at once, and I-" Luna managed to choke out in-between sobs, before I shushed her, and hugged her. "You..You have to never do that again..." I whispered into her ear. "I promise..." She whispered, and hugged me tighter. I broke the hug, but kept my hands on her shoulders. "Luna...She was right. You-You can't stay here forever...You have to go back." "But I-" "I wasn't asking this time. You have to. As a favor to me, you just have to." I gazed deeply into her blue eyes, to tell her I was serious. She nodded. "O-okay..." She dipped her head as we walked back to our house. It only took us a few minutes, and they were waiting for us, outside the door. "Are you ready to go, sister?" Celestia asked. Luna looked up at me, and I nodded. She closed her eyes and sighed "Yes." "Then you must go pack your things. We shall wait here." Luna left, to her room. "Listen, Princess I-" "Do not worry, Davion. I know how you felt. There is no need for an apology." She smiled again. "Ooooo! Ooo!" Pinkie Pie bounced up and down behind her. "What, Pinkie?" "Me and Applejack made some delicious treats! I hope you like them!" "We figured it would be a good way ter apologize to ya. Fer, everything. It's also a thank you." She tipped her hat at me. "Thanks...I guess." Luna then came back, with only one suitcase.(Again.) It contained the same things as before, except with more pictures, notes, and her diary. "Okay, dearest sister. We must be off." Luna gave one last look to me, and then hugged me again. "I love you daddy...I'll always miss you." "I will too. I love you, Luna. You will always be like a daughter to me. I'll always have pictures." She kissed me on the cheek. "Good-....Goodbye, dad." "Goodbye, Luna." She grabbed her suitcase. They all gave one last smile, and they left in a blinding flash of light. "I really am all alone now..." I sighed, chocking back tears, and went into our- My house. Without her.
