A wolf fights to the death on a lonely beach. An aged huntsman is its adversary, cold and sharp like the arrows he holds. A filly, still young, but learning of her importance to the empire, sacrifices the ultimate to save the beast's life. However, no-one realises the gravity of her act on that desolate shore until many years later.
