Chapter one: The decision
It was beautiful day Ponyville. The pegasi were flying through the clouds. The Apple family were selling apples in the marketplace. Pinkie and Cheese Sandwich were planning a graduation party for the students of Ponyville Elementary School, along with DJ PON-3.
Twilight was at home looking through her books on speeches. She was to give a speech at the graduation ceremony. Spike was asleep on the floor, having grown tired from boredom over the speeches Twilight had tried already. “Spike? Spike, wake up! I have a good one!” said Twilight as she made a book fall lightly on his head with magic.
“Ow! I’m up!!!” said Spike as he jolted awake.
“sorry.” Said Twilight as she levitated the book back up.
Suddenly, there was knock on the door.
“Huh? I wonder who that is.”, said Twilight as she opened the door.
A yellow pegasus with blue hair and wearing a canterlot guard uniform was standing outside.
“Flash Sentry? What are you doing here?”
“Princess Celestia sent me. She said you are needed at Canterlot Castle.”
“Should I bring the others?” asked twilight, confused as to why Celestia needed her at canterlot before the graduation ceremony.
“She said it’d be better if you and Spike came alone.”, said Flash
On the way to the castle, Twilight couldn’t figure out why Celestia needed her right before the graduation ceremony. She had told Cheerilee that she wouldn’t be able to give the speech and left the copy she made with her. When they arrived in canterlot, Celestia, Luna, and Cadence were all three waiting at the train platform.
“Princess Celestia!” said twilight as she came out of the train car.
“Ah, Twilight. My faithful student.”
“So, why did you ask to see me early?”
“Celestia and I were in the library yesterday and there was a message from sunset.” Said Luna.
“Is she ok?” Asked Twilight. “Is there an emergency?”
“Well, yes and no twilight.”, said Cadence.
“What do you mean?”
“It’s better if you see for yourself.” Said Luna. They all walked to the castle library.
In the library, the journal was laying open on a table. Twilight went up to it and read what was written.
Dear Twilight Sparkle,
I hope you read this soon before the portal closes.
I want to see about coming back to Equestria and
make things right with Celestia and the others there.
It’s been my dream to someday go back and ask for
forgiveness after you helped me here.
Could you possibly put a good word in for me to
Celestia? Please write back what the answer is.

“So why did you need me to read this now?” asked Twilight confused.
“We wanted you to decide whether or not she is allowed to come back.” Said Cadence. “Luna and Celestia couldn’t decide.”
“If I say she can come back, will she be forgiven of what she did here?”
“If that is what you wish.” Said Celestia. “But she will be your responsibility to make sure she doesn’t make the same mistakes again.”
“I understand.” Said Twilight. “I’ll make sure she is a good pony here as she is in the other dimension.”
