Twilight Sparkle never really let go of the time spell she got a while back. Instead, she spent hours, days even trying to extend the time she could go back, and for how long. At long last, she thinks she has the formula down and finally attempts the spell using a machine she created to amplify the range. But something goes horribly wrong, and she is thrust into a whole new world!

Or... Is it? A lot of places look very much the same, yet different at the same time. It isn't long before she finally realizes just where she is, but it takes her even less to discover this world is in grave danger from a threat no one has ever seen, or will ever see, again.

Before you dislike this story for not being faithful to the original game, read this out! This story might never live up to the other Chrono Trigger stories on this site, but that's okay because I wanted to make this story simply because Chrono Trigger is a fantastic RPG. Besides, Chrono Cross had barely anything to do with Trigger, so why complain? No offense. (And the title is pronounce "Pone-oh" not "Fone-oh")
