Chapter 1: New World, New Problems

Location: Sonora Desert, Arizona, USA

POV: Agent Palmer

Why does it got to be so hot out here? Out of all the days that I had to chase an armed suspect through the desert was one of the days that had to be 105 degrees. It didn't make it any better that I was carrying a large amount of equipment on me. But enough complaining I had to focus on the task at hand which was this guy, John Lesnar, had just shot at me and attempted to escape by running through the desert.

Anybody else would have let him go and wait for backup but I didn't to kindly at getting shot at so I immediately gave chase. What this guy probably didn't know was that I was an All-American running back for Northern Arizona University and would have probably been drafted had the attacks on September 11th not occurred. After that I immediately dropped everything and enlisted for the marines. In the marines I helped spearhead the attacks on Afghanistan and Iraq and also fought in both battles for Fallujah and after the second my taste for war had disappeared. After I left the marines I attempted to find new ways to still serve my country it was than that decided to go back to school and get a degree in criminal justice and after that I joined the U.S. Border Patrol.

I quickly climbed the ranks in the agency, even for a short time joining the elite BORTAC Unit before getting transferred over to the HSI Unit since the department believed that I would do more helping the department as a whole. I was assigned the title special agent in charge and assigned to the case of an anti-government militia member living out in the middle of the desert. The anti-government militia member that I was currently chasing through the desert. God, why couldn't this guy just stop already.

Eventually I got a break and John tripped over a hole and fell to the floor. As he laid on the floor I ran up pointing my handgun at him and shouted "Stay on the floor and keep your hands where I can see them!" but right as I shouted that he rolled over onto his back and I saw him pointing his handgun at me. I just heard a bang and I saw a bright blue flash. Did I die, all I could see was white and their was a high pitched ringing noise.

Location: Unknown

Wait, I was beginning to see color, I was finally regaining my vision. As my vision began to clear up I could finally exam my surroundings but the first thing I did was exam myself. I looked at myself and realized that I was still wearing my uniform and I stilled had all my equipment including my hand gun and my rifle hanging on my back. After I finished finished making sure that my body was still in working condition I finally looked at my environment.

It was than that I realized that I was no longer in the desert but I was now in some kind of forest. It look a bit swampy too. While trying to wrap my head around this whole ordeal I began to hear voices that sounded like people talking. I decided that the best course of action after waking up in an unknown forest and hearing voices is to hide in the bushes.

After finding my hiding spot behind a large bush I began to watch the clearing I appeared in as I heard the voices get closer. Right when the voices got to the clearing I couldn't believe what I was seeing. There were three ponies, all of them some different color and all of them reached the height of my groin area. But that's were the similarities stopped.

One pony had yellow skin and a pink mane and WAIT are those wings, holy shit these are Pegasus. After I managed to refocus, I looked at the second pony who also appeared to be a Pegasus but had a rainbow mane. I than focused on the last one who appeared to be wearing some type of stetson hat. After studying them I began to listen in on their conversation.

"I think the birds said that the thing that scared them was over here" the pink mane one said. "Don't worry Fluttershy, if there is a scary monster out here than me and Applejack will take care of it" said the rainbow maned one and from what she just said the pink maned one appears to be called Fluttershy and the cowboy appears to be called Applejack, but two questions now remained unanswered what was the rainbow maned called and who was the monster they were talking about but those questions would have to wait because right there I think the monster question was answered. A large lion scorpion hybrid had just jumped out of the treeline.

I saw the the rainbow one and Applejack back up a couple but Fluttershy was just standing there staring at the monster, poor thing it was probably in shock. The environmentalist in me wanted to just let nature take its course but my other side was saying to help them out, eventually I decided to side with my other side and help them especially since they were sentient and could likely tell me were I was. Jumping out of my hiding spot and aiming my rifle at the monster I put four rounds downrange hitting the monster in its side making it roar before it toppled over. I looked back at Fluttershy as it just stood there quivering before it suddenly became stiff and turned its head in my direction.

She stared at me with hate filled eyes before yelling "YOU MONSTER". "Monster" I wondered " Didn't I just saved this pony from the monster".

I looked at Fluttershy and saw her staring at me with the same look it was giving the monster. I than felt like something was trying to creep into my mind like I was being put into a trance but I kept resisting it as I tried to think before I realized that it was Fluttershy causing this.

I than had two options either attempt to keep mind fighting the pony until one of use tired out or I could break her stare before deciding that the second option was probably safer. I had to break her concentration without killing her since I would probably still need their help after this. With the last amount of control I had over my body I reached down and upholstered my mace before pointing it at the the pony and sprayed. It was almost immediately that I felt the trance had disappeared.

As Fluttershy rolled on the floor crying and attempting to rub her eyes which only made it worse I saw the rainbow one begin to flap her wings and fly straight at me but with my quick reflexes I pulled out my collapsible baton and swung hard at the flying pony smacking her in the side of the head sending her flying in a different direction and and into a tree. But as I recovered from that fight I saw Applejack running towards me before turning around and bucking me but it didn't break my leg like a regular horse buck would but rather just felt like someone had punched me in the leg but deciding that I should return the favor I brought my baton down onto her back making her scream and collapse onto the floor. But just when I thought things couldn't get any worse I saw a regular pony, a unicorn, one that appeared to be a combination of both a unicorn and Pegasus (alicorn I think they were called) and a short FUCKING dragon come out of the treeline. " Fuck me" I mumbled to myself as I saw their eyes open wide before being filled with rage as they saw me standing over their hurt and still screaming friends with a spray can of mace in one hand and a baton in the other.

The dragon was the first to attack but instead of attacking with a fire breath like I thought he would he instead chose to just run at me with his arms flailing. The dragon barely reached the height of my knee so I pulled back my leg and when he got close enough I let it go with all my might hitting him straight in the gut and sending him flying back into the treeline. I than saw my next attacker it was some regular pink pony with a impossibly puffed up pink mane. She than pulled a tiny pink cannon from places I don't think I want to know.

Just when I thought that I was going to die like some 18th century pirate, I heard the boom of the cannon but instead of what should have been a cannonball I opened my eyes to see a cake smashed against my face I than put away my spray and baton, wiped the cake off my face, and than pulled out my taser and ran up to the pony before sticking it into her side which made her mane stick up and made her shake before she finally collapsed. I was about to try and catch my breath before I remembered about the two other ponies but before I could react I saw the purple alicorns horn light up in a purple aura before I saw the same aura surround me. I became stiff and than I was being lifted off the ground but I than began to struggle against the aura which I saw was straining the unicorn since she was starting to sweat profusely and than I saw cracks appearing in the aura around me but right when I was going to break free I heard the alicorn shout "RARITY, HELP ME!".

The marshmallow unicorn with a purple mane than ran up next to the purple one and than her horn began to glow which caused the cracks in the aura around me to disappear and I heard the purple pony say "All right Rarity on the count of 3".

"count of three?" I wondered

"1" said the purple pony

"Please don't let this hurt" I thought

"2" said the purple pony

"Oh god here it comes" I thought

"3!" both the purple and the one named Rarity shouted at the same time

"FUCK YOU!" I shouted as I was sent through the air before I collided against something hard, I remained barely conscious for a few seconds before I blacked out.

Chapter 2: Research

Location: Everfree Forest

POV: Twilight Sparkle

We were in the Everfree forest looking for a monster. Or at least that's what Fluttershy's pet rabbit Angel had told Fluttershy that he saw on one of his walks through the forest. Whether or not he actually saw a monster I didn't know but it seemed to scare Fluttershy that there is a new monster in the everfree forest so to calm her down I gathered up the girls and we went to look for the monster in the forest which we had done for half an hour before deciding that splitting into two groups would make the search faster. After a half an hour more we heard Fluttershy scream and me, Rarity,Pinkie Pie, and Spike ran towards the sound. We reached the clearing we first saw A large black bipedal creature standing in the clearing with a shiny stick in one hand and a shiny can in the other.

When we finally got our eyes off the creature and looked around the clearing we saw one of the most horrific sights. We saw a manticore and Applejack lying motionless on the floor, we saw Rainbow Dash leaning up against a tree motionless as well, and the worst thing we saw was Fluttershy rolling on the ground as she cried and rubbed her eyes. Immediately and before I could stop him I saw spike run straight at the creature before seeing the creature punt Spike like a hoofball straight over our heads and into the forest. Before I could tell my friends to calm down and think of a plan I saw Pinkie Pie attempt to take down the creature, she pulled out her party cannon and fired a large cake straight at the creature but when the cake hit the creature in the face all it did was put its stick and can away before wiping the cake off its face and than pulling out a strange black device.

The creature than began to run at pinkie with the device in its hand and than I saw something that truly surprised me, the creatures device started to generate its own lightning before the creature shoved it into Pinkies side, shocking her and causing her to pass out. I turned to Rarity and said " Rarity I need you to back me up if this plan doesn't work, got it "Got it she responded. I than ran at the creature and began to lift it up with my telekinesis spell but for some reason it was almost like his body was resilient to my magic. It took all my strength to lift the creature up but just as soon as I had gotten the creature off the floor he was already beginning to break free of my grip.

Just when I thought he was going to break free I felt some of the pressure ease off me before I turned my and saw Rarity helping me lift the creature. Knowing that Rarity knew what we had to next I began to count down. "Alright on the count of three" I said before I began the countdown "1..2..3" and just as I said three I heard the creature yell something before me and Rarity threw the creature with our magic at a nearby boulder. When the creature hit the boulder with a thud me and Rarity stood there waiting to see if the creature would stand back up but when it didn't get up after a full minute me and Rarity thought that it was safe enough to check on our friends. First we began with Fluttershy since she was still on the ground sobbing.

When she heard me coming and she looked at me I saw her eyes had become bright red "Oh Twilight" she said "you have to help me, after I saw the monster kill that poor manticore I tried to give it the stare but it was somehow able to resist it". "Resist it" I exclaimed "but how? No animal has been able to resist your stare". "I know Twilight, I was surprised too and than he pulled out this small spray that when he sprayed it into my eyes made it feel like they were on fire" she said". " Do they still burn" I asked.

"A little" she said wiping her running nose. "Okay, well when we get home well just make sure to help you rinse your eyes out and than I'll make sure to make you a nice daisy sandwich, does that sound good" I asked. "Yes" was her only reply. "Okay than now lets go check on the others" I said.

When we got to Pinkie Pie we found her on the floor with a burn mark on her coat where the creature had stuck his device. After pulling out a cupcake from Pinkies bag we waved it in front of her nose which caused her jump up and shout "WOW, did you guys feel that shock, man that was intense". After realizing that Pinkie was alright we moved on to Applejack who was lying on the floor with a large mark on her back but she appeared to still be conscious but with some back pain. After helping her up we moved on to Rainbow Dash who was lying next to a tree that she appeared to have collided with.

"Rainbow Dash are you okay" I asked. "Yeah I am just help me up " she responded. After helping her up I did a head count and than realized that Spike was still missing, "Wheres Spike" I exclaimed. "Don't worry about me I'm okay" said Spike as he walked out of the treeline and it was than that we noticed the giant purple bruise that practically covered his chest.

"OH, my little spikey-wikey what did that mean old monster do to you" said Rarity as she ran up and hugged him A hug that seemed to cause him pain but at the same time happiness. "Well now that everyone is accounted for there is still one thing left to talk about" I said as we all turned our heads towered the creature who was still slumped over unconscious next to the boulder. "I say we drag it to canterlot and throw it into the dungeons" said Rainbow Dash " I agree" than said Applejack "I don't think I would be able to sleep knowing that such a dangerous creature was still around and could still hurt the ponies I care about". "Well I think that we should just leave it in the Everfree forest, for all we know it was just some wild animal defending its territory even if it did do terrible things" said Rarity as she squeezed Spike harder when she was finishing her sentence.

"But Rarity that thing couldn't possibly be a wild animal, wild animals don't use equipment or wear clothes" said Fluttershy. "Fluttershy's right, whatever it is cant possibly be from Equestria, and now that I think about it, the creature sort of looks like a human from the other side of the mirror where Sunset Shimmer lives" I said. "So your saying that he came from the mirror" asked Applejack. "Maybe, he looks human but something about him is different from the humans from the portal, I can feel it, I will have to take him back to my castle and perform some research on the creature to make sure" I said

After taking the creature back to my castle, I placed him on my research table and made sure to place a sleeping spell on him hoping that it would keep him asleep while I do my research. I first started by examining his outfit and devices. "Alright spike write this down, creature appears to wearing some sort of vest that has multiple pockets and writing on it, I will begin my research by removing the vest and examining it". I undid the straps on the vest and slowly slid it off the creature and placed it on a nearby table, the vest was heavier than expected.

I began to to exam the vest it was black and had some sort of round patch on the front, the patch was blue and white and appeared to have a eagle on it. "U.S. Department of Homeland Security, I wonder if that means he's some sort of guard" I thought out loud. "If he's a guard than why is he out here and not back home protecting his princess" asked Rainbow Dash. "I don't know but I intend to find out" I answered .

I than flipped the heavy vest over and read a large black patch on the back that read in bold white letters " U.S. Federal Agent" and under that it said in smaller letters "U.S. Department of Homeland Security". "Hmm, these letters U and S seem to pop up a lot on his equipment, this might be were hes from" I said to no one in particular. I flipped the vest over and noticed that there was another patch on the front that I didn't notice possibly because it blended in. It was a rectangle with thirteen horizontal stripes that changed from black to white and in the upper left hand corner of the rectangle was a smaller back rectangle with multiple white stars, "What could this mean" I wondered.

I checked all the pockets on the vest and all I found was a pack of gum, a pair of black sunglasses, some white plastic straps, a strange back device that made strange noises when you twisted a knob and a large black rectangle with long copper colored tubes that shifted to a more darker color when it got to the tip "I will have to make sure to run more test on these items" I wrote down on my notepad and it was than that I noticed that my friends were still in my home doing whatever else since I told them not to touch the creature. "Girls, these test could take all night if you want to go home that would be all right" I said but than Rainbow Dash responded "And leave you here alone with this creature I don't think so, he could wake up and try and hurt you". "Alright suit yourself" I responded before I turned my attention back to the still heavy vest, this wasn't right I had emptied out all the pockets and it still weighed a couple pounds and than I noticed a flap on the inside that when opened revealed a large heavy square plate. After taking it out and placing it with the other vest items I than realized that I had finished my examination with the vest and that the next thing I had to turn my attention on was the black belt with even more pouches but it seemed to have similar items only that it had two smaller versions of the black rectangle box with both filled with smaller versions of the copper tubes that had more rounded ends, a small foldable dagger, a flashlight, a smaller version of the large black cannon that he took down the manticore with, the small metal container that he sprayed Fluttershy with, the collapsible metal stick he hit Rainbow Dash and Applejack with, there was also a pouch that was in my best guess was suppose to hold the lightning generating device that he was holding in his hand before we took him down, and attached to the belt was a small gold shield with a eagle on top of it and in the middle of the shield it had the same symbol as the patch.

After examining the belt I made my way to the pants pockets that only holded three things. The first was a small metal device that could generate fire and had a symbol of a eagle sitting on top of a planet with a anchor passing through. The next was a small rectangle with a piece of glass that would light up when you pressed a small button and show a screen with multiple numbers and in the background it showed a red bird (which Fluttershy identified as a cardinal) sitting on top of a wooden stick and next to the cardinal were the letters L and S intersecting. After that I found another item that seemed to be used to hold currency. Inside the item were multiple green rectangle papers that each had a different face and number on them (I believe them to be his currency) and a small plastic rectangle with small numbers on them.

But there were two things that caught my eye. The first was some sort of ID that showed everything from his name, to his gender, and even his height. But the next one seemed more sentimental, it was a picture of the creature sitting at a table at what appeared to be some sort of party "Won't pinkie be happy to know that his creatures still have parties" I thought before returning my attention to the picture. The creature was sitting next to another creature that was similar to him except it seemed to be smaller, had darker hair and skin, and its chest appeared to be larger before I realized that it must be a female and sitting in between them was a smaller female wearing a party hat. It didn't take me long to realize that the smaller one must be a child which means that this must be a picture of his family, yes it must be the taller female must be his wife and the smaller one must be his daug.... my thoughts stopped as I realized that this wasn't just some monster, it was a living being that could show care and love it must have just been scared when it was in the forest.

I made sure to put the picture back in the pouch carefully before realizing that I must now move on to the biological examination of the creature. Up until this point I had just focused on the items and not the actual creature. I made sure to call over Fluttershy since she dealt with animals and could tell a lot about it from its physical appearance and Rarity since she could also examine the outfit he was wearing. The first thing we removed was a dark blue long sleeve shirt that on the front had a picture of the small gold shield and on both shoulders had the same rectangle with stripes except this time one of the stripes was red, the corner box was blue, and the remaining stripes and stars were a brighter white.

"Well the first thing I can tell you Twilight is that the shirt was obliviously not made for style but rather for comfort and maneuverability, since it is very thin it was possibly made for hotter environments" said Rarity upon finishing her examination of the shirt before we finally removed it and revealed the creatures chest which shocked everybody in the room. The creature was obliviously well built since it had biceps like Bulk Bicep, but what most shocked us was that its skin unlike the rest of its body where it was a peach color was covered in different colored images. The images showed everything from L and S intersecting again on his shoulder to a large picture of a bird (which Fluttershy identified as a eagle this time) opening its wings on his chest and in its claws it holds a banner similar to the rectangle with the red and white stripes which leads me to believe that its some sort of flag of the area its from. Another thing that shocked us was that its body was covered in scars and burn marks.

We than realized we forgot to exam his head which was important since we did knock him out with a rock. Its face looked while it was asleep. It appeared to a short brown black mane with small single grey hairs popping up every now and than and than using my magic I opened his eyelids ( causing the other ponies to step back since they didn't know he would still be asleep if I did this) which caused his pupils to dilate and revealed that he had brown eyes. We than opened up his mouth were Fluttershy immediately began her examination.

"He appears to be a omnivore since his teeth seemed to be made for both grinding and tearing" Fluttershy said. "So your saying that the creature could have eaten us if he wanted to" Asked Applejack. "Only if were in its diet" responded Fluttershy whose response didn't seem to calm down Applejack not that Fluttershy noticed as she was still examining the creature. We than removed the creatures pants and undergarments but decided to put the undergarments back on after it reveled that his manhood was bigger than an average stallions and next came his boots, after we removed them we handed them over to Rarity who immediately began to examine them.

"Again the boot is obviously not made for style but rather comfort and is made of tough material" she said after examining them. "I could of told you that" said Spike rubbing his stomach were the bruise previously was but now disappeared after we had used a healing spell. " Well I guess the only thing left to do is wake the creature up and ask him some questions" I said. "Are you nuts Twilight, you want to wake this monster up even after it beat us two ways from Sunday, and even after it almost broke out of your magical grip even though your a alicorn" responded Applejack

"I had underestimated my opponent and I wanted to capture the creature alive so I had to withhold my magic since I didn't know what could hurt him" I said "How much did you withhold" asked Rainbow Dash with a raised eyebrow. "Enough to know that an average unicorn will only be able to hold him for a few seconds, less or maybe even not get a grip on the creature if the unicorn is not using its full magical strength" I responded "Again, And you want to wake it up" responded Applejack. "Yes, we can only learn why the creature is here if we ask the creature itself and besides we wont be doing the interrogation here and by ourselves, girls pack your things we are going to Canterlot.

Chapter 3: Waking the sleeping giant

Location: Unknown

POV: Agent Palmer

My eyes began to crack open as little by little my eyes adjusted to the bright lights in the room, at first my brain couldn't remember anything until little by little I remembered it all, how I tried to help those ponies only to have them smash me against something. That's when I remembered being smashed I quickly reached up to check the damage on my head only for my hand to stop mid air and that's when I noticed the chain that was holding me to the table, this chain I noticed had a strange strange light blue glow to it. I than looked around the room and noticed that it was a plain white concrete room with a single mirror and a large steel door, the table as well was bolted down to the floor as well as the chair. I had been in enough of these rooms to know that it was an interrogation room and I was willing to bet that someone was watching me through the what I suspect to be a one way window.

Just than the large steel door opened and inside stepped a large dark blue Alicorn that had a mane that seemed to move by it self. "No need to check your head we had you healed before you arrived here and also don't bother trying to break the chain it was enchanted by my sister and even if you break it I will take you down in the blink of an eye and this room will be full of dozens of other ponies including the three other alicorns waiting outside do you understand" she said. I didn't respond rather I just continued to glare at her, "I will take that as a yes, now here's how this works I ask a question and you answer truthfully don't and well you'll find out why they sent me in here, okay I am princess Luna, who are you" she asked. I realized I had to test the water and see how much I could reveal without revealing any state secrets even if America is possibly in another galaxy so I responded in the only way I knew possible "Fuck you" I said but as the last word left my mouth I felt the cold grip of her magic wrap around my head before my head was flung with force straight in to the table, okay maybe I wouldn't be able to be able to straight up ignore her questions but maybe I could lie a bit.

"Again, who are you" Luna asked, responded with the first fake name to pop into my head "Bruce Wayne" I said before my head was once again flung straight into the table "Dammit, what the hell is your problem I told you my name" I said as I felt another magical feeling grip my head only this time it healed the pain I felt on my head, "My problem is that you continue to lie to me, my problem is that you caused pain to my friends and if it was up to me I would have had you flung into space for that but they want you to answer some questions so understand this I could keep this up for hours until you give me the answers I want" she paused as she pulled a large box from under the table and placed it on the table and than she pulled something out which I quickly recognized as my driver license and placed it on the table "We know your name, we just want you to answer truthfully for once, so again what is your name" she asked "Marcus Palmer" I responded. "Good, next question where are you from" she asked "United States of America" I responded "Is this your flag" she asked as she pulled out my flag patch "Yes" I said "Than what is this" she asked as she pulled my department patch from the box "That's my department patch" I quickly said "And what does your department do" she asked "Prevent any major disasters and if any do happen than to help the affected area recover". "It seems odd to me that a department meant to help your kind would give you so many tools that cause so much pain" she said "Well not all these disasters are made by nature, some are sadly made by man" I said. "Alright Mr. Palmer I have one more question why are you here" she asked "I don't know" I responded before I felt a magical grip around my head only this time it didn't fling my head only kept it in place.

"Need I remind you the punishment for not answering my questions" she said slowly "I'm not lying, one minute I was standing in the desert and the next I was standing in the forest trying to protect your ponies before they went psycho on me" I said before I mumbled to myself "Those bitches" before my head was smashed against the table. "Understand that when I am in the room you will not address my friends in such a manner" she said with noticeable hate in her voice before she changed back to a more relax posture "Now I will let one of my friends in here to ask some question and if at any point you become disruptive I will come back in here is that understood" she said "Yes ma'am. "Good" she said as she stood up and walked to the door as she opened it she stuck her head out and said "Princess Twilight, the creature is ready for you" before I heard a familiar voice responded "Thank you Princess Luna you are dismissed" before Luna gave me one last hateful glare before she turned and left the room and after a few seconds another Alicorn stepped in, one that I recognized. It was the Alicorn that knocked me out and even though I wanted to tell her how I really felt about her I certainly didn't want Luna to come back in here and smash my head into the wall so I kept my mouth shut.

"Good evening Mr.Palmer, I am Twilight Sparkle" she said. Though Luna was not in the room I could still feel her cold eyes piercing me so I decided to play it safe "Good evening, your majesty" I practically had to force those words out. "Well your a gentleman but please call me Twilight, so I'm pretty sure Luna went over the rules with you" she asked "Yes" I responded "Good, than lets waste no time" she said as she levitated a notebook. "First what is this" she said as she pulled out my mace, "That's my mace, its a non-lethal spray that when sprayed on the eyes burns like a motherfu..." I than felt a magical grip on my head, so deciding it would probably be against Luna's wishes to use such language in front of her young friend I quickly changed my wording "Udger, it burns like a motherfudger".

After what seemed like hours of Twilight writing down notes as she pulled different things out of the box as I explained what everything from zip ties to collapsible batons we were eventually we started to get to the bottom of the box. "Okay, what is this" she said as she pulled out my pistol magazine from the box, "That's my magazine for my pistol" I said "Your pistol" she asked with a puzzled look on her face. "The black L shaped thing" I said as I realized that they probably didn't know what a gun was but were probably aware of their power after I demonstrated it on that monster in the forest. "Okay I think that's all for now" said Twilight as she got up and packed everything into the box. "Hey" i said calmly as she packed up my things "Do you mind asking someone if I could get my clothes back, I mean enjoy wearing just my boxers when I sleep but its a bit chilly in here".

"I'll make sure to ask" she responded "Here keep this" she said as she used her magic to slide a paper over to me, lifting it up I realized that it wasn't a note but a picture, more specifically a picture of me and my wife at my daughters 6th birthday party "Thank you" I said quietly as I continued to stare at my best reminder of home. Twilight remained quiet as she packed up the box and walked out of the room with it shutting the door quietly behind her.

POV: John Lesnar

I sat outside the cave looking into the fire that I had built, watching the smoke rise. I had woken up in this forest more than 4 days ago and in that time I had encountered strange creatures. A chicken snake that almost turned me to stone had I not been able to use my free arm to grab my gun and shoot it to a man dog that attempted to grab me but maybe due to lack of training on his part I was able to fight him off and stab my pocket knife through his eye killing him. The most interesting creature though was a pony.

Not just any pony but a mare that had a pink and purple mane, a tan coat with a picture of three candies on her flank. and was smaller than the usual pony but the most interesting thing about her was that she was able to talk. I had manage to capture her on my second day and using the interrogation techniques that the CIA had taught me. I stood up and picked up the saddle bag next to me and looking through it I had discovered what I was looking for. A canteen that was previously filled with apple cider, before I drank it, was now filled with water that I dumped on the fire putting it out.

I walked into the cave and since the sun was barely rising it was hard to look around but I eventually saw what I wanted. The pony tied up in the corner was shivering possibly crying for her wife Lyra like she usually does. Her mane was a mess and her coat was covered in dry blood except for her head that was still wet from the waterboarding. She than tensed up and her ears perked, she heard me.

"Hello, Bon Bon" I said. She had told me a lot of things, on the first day I was able play her friend and was able to get information like her name and the name of her leaders and such but as hours passed and I started asking questions she wouldn't answer I had to than use more physical means. She turned towards me and sobbing said "Why won't you let me go home and see Lyra" I moved over to a small rock next to her and sat down "Bon Bon, I'm sorry but I was never planning to let you go, see if I let you go than your going to tell other ponies and when you do their going to come looking for me". "No I won't, I promise I won't tell any pony" she sobbed I than stood up and hugged her tightly, while she attempted to struggle at first she than began to relax I than began whispering into her ear "Relax, just relax understand that your death won't be in vain, I will open the eyes of the ponies and help them gain their freedom these false gods Celestia and Luna".

"But their not false they have magic" she whispered back, "Oh I don't doubt that they have magic after what I've seen in this forest but magic powerful enough to move the sun and moon even that is too much, now I have to go so just relax" and I slowly took out my pocket knife than quickly stabbed it into her neck and I began to squeeze her tighter as she began to twitch". "Just relax" I whispered into her ear until after a few minutes she stopped moving and her chest stopped rising. "Don't worry when the war for freedom against the tyrant princesses who use their powerful magic to control you starts ill make sure to find Lyra and take care of her and i'll even come back here and give you a proper funeral" I whispered as I laid her body onto the cold cave floor. I stood up and than stared at her body before I said a quick prayer for her than I started packing up my things.

I had already spent to much time here there was no doubt that at this point a search for Bon Bon had already started so I had to get going and start planning my rebellion. As I used my knife and some rope I made to convert the saddle bag into a backpack and taking one last look at the cave I whispered "For the greater good" and I turned and walked into the forest.

Location: Luna's room

POV: Princess Twilight

We sat on Luna's balcony watching Palmer down in the garden, "I still don't understand why we let the creature into the garden" said Shining Armor. "Well sometimes the best way to gain information about somebody is to observe them without them knowing your there" I replied. "Yeah, well all he's been doing for the past half hour is sit on that stupid bench, I say we go down there and force him to tell us what hes doing here" said Shining. "Were not going to do that because one, torture is still illegal under equestrian law and two, when I examined him his body was covered in scars obviously showing that he can stand large amounts of pain" I said "Fine, but I still think we should keep my idea on the table" he replied.

It went back to silence for a minute or two before I heard Cadence say "What if I go talk to him" that's when we all turned around and yelled "what"! "Well its just that its been proven before that if you act like a friend to someone than they might be more open to tell you things they wouldn't have had before and maybe even tell you things by accident without even realizing it" said Cadence. "But still how do we know that getting close to him is even safe" said shining with a bit of panic in his voice. "I'm pretty sure that he knows about the hundreds of guards watching his every move, now shining I know you have your doubts about this but I have a friend to go make" and with that Cadence gave shining a small kiss on the lips " Besides I doubt he could resist my charm, they don't call me the princess of love for nothing" and with that she turned around and walked out Luna's room

POV: Princess Cadence

I would be lying if I didn't say I was scared out of my mind walking to the bench the creature sat on though I did my best to suck it up and walk to the bench calmly. I sat down on the bench next to the creature and took a breath before I turned to him and flipped my mane before saying "So mister Palmer are you enjoying the gardens". He slowing turned to me and stared at me with those eyes that seem to breaking me into pieces and and examining every piece before he turned and looked back down at the ground, I was about to say something before I heard his calm and somehow soothing voice say "So that's your plan huh". "Whatever do you mean mister Palmer" I replied to him, "Your plan was to come down here and pretend to be my friend so I could spill some beans wasn't it, well word of advice you don't really give off the persona of a friend when you walk up to me looking like your knees are weak and your hooves are sweaty".

"I don't know what your talking about mister Palmer" I said. "Please for the love of god do not lie to me I hate it when people lie to" he said before turning to face me "Don't think I didn't notice you and your friends sitting up on the balcony for the past half hour attempting to study me". "We have been doing no such thing!" I said adding a stomp of my hoove hoping that would intimidate him but instead he began to laugh. "No such thing, Ha, if your gonna spy on some one from a balcony make sure your horn doesn't light up like a fucking road flare every time you use it." He replied after gaining control of his laughter.

His serious look returned not long after. "Look I know you are being serious about being my friend so how about we cut a deal?" He asked. "That is?". "If you give my stuff back, get rid of the guards blatantly watching me 24/7, and give me a better room than that cell and I'll see about opening up more to you, deal?". "No, I'll give you back anything we have determined is not a weapon, keep a security squad on you, but I will give you a better room, deal?".

He seemed to ponder it a bit before he stuck his hand out and said "deal". We than shook hand and hooves.
