Ron and John's Adventures at CHS
Prologue- Missing an Old Friend
Load Full StoryRon's POV
Moving to a new town sucks. I work so hard to make friends where I've lived all my life and all of a sudden my mother thinks its a wonderful idea to go try to start a new life in some other town that I've never even heard of. I get to graduate at some school filled with people I don't know nor do I care to get to know. Its all the same anyway. Make friends, spend time building a great friendship, become best friends with that one person who can connect with you on a whole different level, then one of you ends up having to move out of town and you never see them again. Same old song and dance as they would say. But this isn't the first time this has happened to me. Canterlot is actually the 3rd town I've moved to in about 3 years now. But within those few years, there's only been one friend out of them all that I've missed the most. He was my best friend and we were practically inseperable. I considered him my brother pretty much. But that all ended when my dad got a job in a new city and we had to leave. I haven't seen John since then. And every day I just wish I could go back to my hometown just to hang out with him again for old times sake.
I stare at the school building as the nice little SUV my mom drives pulls up to the main entrance to the tall, brick building. I sigh, looking at all of the other teens of different ages and sizes entering the building. Grabbing my backpack from the backseat and giving my mom a quick hug, I groggily get out of the car and I sling the bag over my shoulder as I begin to walk towards the entrance. Getting closer and closer to the door, I began to realize that this is just going to be like every other year going into a new school. I'm most likely going to get beat up for being the new kid but I honestly didn't care at that moment. I walked past the giant horse statue out in front of the school and looked at for a moment before just continuing my walk through the big doors of the school. I just wanted to get this day over with and finally get home.

John's POV
Ever since I moved to this quaint little town just a few days ago I find it very... intriguing. I'm not exactly sure why but it just gives off that kind of vibe. Me and my family arrived here in Canterlot just last Friday and ever since then, we've been unpacking and getting the house all set up and looking nice for any visitors who might come by in the near future. I should probably introduce myself. I'm John Kelly. I moved here with my Mom and little brother Jordan. I'm a senior who starts his first day at Canterlot High today and I honestly can't wait. Its gonna be a very exciting senior year and I can only see positive things happening from here on. I just wish that I could have graduated with my best friend Ron. Me and him were childhood friends who were very hard to seperate. We spent a lot of time in our clubhouse, planning daily activities, playing cards, prank calls, you name it we did it. Sadly Ron and his family had to move after his freshman year due to his dad getting a new job somewhere where I can't exactly remember. But the past is the past and I guess there isn't much that can be done about it.
I begin approaching the school on foot as I had to walk here from my house, seeing as I only live 2 blocks away. Anyway I can see a bunch of students already piling inside the building as some are set to get breakfast and others probably getting set to do some last minute homework. I continue my trek as I pass right by the giant horse statue on the front lawn of the school. I begin to look at it for a moment as I feel a suddenly uneasy feeling being near it and a random Swooshing noise followed by some girls shouting a name of some sort. I think they said 'Twilight' but I'm not too sure. I keep up my brisk pace as I climb the stairs to the front of the school before opening one of the doors and walking inside. The place is actually really big on the inside. From outside it doesn't seem that spacey. I pull my schedule from my backpack and look for my first class.
"Science 12 with Miss Cherilee room 212. Shouldn't be too hard to find," I mumble to myself as I head to the set of stairs in the middle of the hallway.
I walk through the halls of the second floor as I look around for Room 212. I soon spot it and head right towards it, entering the classroom just moments before the bell rang to signal the beginning of class. Most of the desks are taken besides one in the back corner next to someone with a hoodie on and their head down on the desk. I shrug my shoulders and head straight for that desk, placing my books on the desk and my backpack right next to the desk. I look up to see the teacher writing something science related. She then turns around with a bright smile facing the class.
"Hello class. As I told you yesterday, we have two new students in the class today. If you two could come up and introduces yourselves please," she said while motioning her hands for me and the mystery 2nd student to come up to the front of the class.
I began to stand up as I see the hooded person next to me also stand up and walk over to the front of the class. We both stand at the front and I begin introducing myself.
"I'm John Kelly, I transferred here from Banning High School. I hope to work with most of you in the near future," I smile and give a small wave as they all smile back and say hi. I noticed the hooded student begin to pull their hood off to reveal their face and I look over, only to get a huge blast from the past as me and the person make eye contact. I can feel my blood flowing and my eyes widen in suprise.
"R-Ron....?"
