Chapter 1
This is unexpected
*___------------The Shards Residence------------___*
“8:00 a.m. is the worst time of the day. EVER!” stated Jax as he made his way to his kitchen.
“Would you quit complaining already Jax? I mean really it’s been the same complaint for the past week!”
Jax Shards was an average ‘16 going on 17’ year old guy.  Well as normal as a monster hunter with a fetish for enchanted weapons can be.  Jax had spiked blond hair that (some how) defied the laws of physics, as well as his signature attire of casual jeans, a green shirt, striped yellow/green chest-belt and his infinite storage container on his hip.  Living with his sister/partner, they have been searching there hometown for the dangerous and bizarre for 4 years now.  Finding more weapons than they could count and making enough dough for there grandchildren’s grandchildren to live like royalty, they retired about a month ago.
“Sorry Kelly, but it is the truth! There is nothing to do at 8 in the morning!”
“Ugh… what am I going to do with you?”
“Um…Feed me?” Jax gave her the goofiest grin he could.
Kelly proceeded to punch a hole in the wall with her face.  She loved her brother but, Dear God he was an idiot!  Kelly Shards, the elder of the siblings being 20 years old, had long brunette hair and preferred to wear casual clothes rather than find a single outfit to wear. The one consistency of hers was a storage container on her arm for her equipment, similar to Jax’s seeing as her profession was hunting monsters and all.
“I swear one day I will kill you in the most brutal way possible.”
“Whap dib yo *gulp* say?”
Confused Kelly turned around to find the fridge half empty and the table covered in food. She also happened to notice the bother behind the mountain.
“*sigh*… you better leave some of that for me, I’m going to go vent.”
“Ooh… I feel sorry for whoever and whatever you find.”
“I’ll be back in 25 minutes”
“Kay, see you later”
*___------------Gabel Fields------------___*
Kelly was walking through the fields that surrounded the town.  She had finished “venting” on the local wildlife consisting of slimes, birds, and wolves.  Why they existed as they did she would never know nor did she care.  Seeing as she said she should be back in about 10 minutes she called it a day.  She started to walk home when something she never saw before caught her eye, or more precisely her foot.
“Ah!”
*thud*
“Ow that hurt, huh?”
As Kelly looked to find what stubby perpetrator snagged her toe, she only found a small golden disk with six different symbols on it.  Curiosity got the better of her and she decided to keep the disk, thinking of rubbing it in Jax’s face when she got home.
“Heh heh heh, who’s the treasure hunter now Jaxy? That’s right, ME! Ha ha, ow owowowowowowow foot ow”
After smacking herself for her own stupidity, Kelly proceeded to hobble home and show off her new, shiny whatever it was.

Jax had just finished eating when Kelly got back.  Being the caring brother he is, Jax made sure to leave some food as promised.  Although his attention was dragged to the door that now hung on only one hinge.
“Kelly, did you really break the door again? You know I have to fix that.”
“That is the least of your worries at the moment! BEHOLD! I have found treasure without YOUR help! HA!”
Jax deadpanned “You found a gold plate?”
“That is not what it is! It’s a … um… I’m not sure what it is.”
“Here let me see it for a moment.”
Jax was busy examining the disc when knocking came from the front door.  When Kelly opened it she was met by a familiar face.
“Oh! Hi Zach. Wha-what are you doing here?”
Zach was the last person Kelly wanted to see at that moment.  Sure the dirty blond 19 year old boy would probably know what the gold plate thing was considering how tech-savvy he was, but he had a tendency to be a jerky showoff.  He currently had his green over-coat and grey gamer shirt, along with pale cargo pants.
“I just stopped by to see how you guys were doing considering you haven’t spoken or sent a letter to me for 3 weeks.”
“Heh, sorry about that, we’ve been kinda busy.”
“Doing what, goofing off?”
“Uh…”
“I’ll take that as a yes.”
“Zach, quit pestering her and get in here!”
Zach looked inside and saw the gold plate. He proceeded to stun everyone with his next statement.
“What IS that?”
Kelly’s jaw dropped and Jax followed suit.  They stared at each other in disbelief, turning to Zach at the last moment before he grabbed the plate.
“Do you mean that this is something that even YOU don’t know about?”
“Yes actually, this is a very interesting piece of technology you seem to have found.”  Zach turned to plate over in his hands, examining every single surface, coming across a peculiar button on the side. “Hm?”
Kelly came in from the doorway to have a closer look herself. “What? Did you find something?”
“Yeah, there’s a little button on the side here, that and these markings look like the light up or something.”
*burp* “Hey, I just had an idea.”  Kelly and Zach turned to look at Jax who had just finished his meal.  “Let’s go turn it on in the field out back, so if something bad dose happen, our house isn’t destroyed.”
Zach and Kelly both just gawked at the sudden burst of knowledge from Jax. Zach was the first to recover after shaking his head and turning to Kelly.
“Huh, today is just full of surprises, isn’t it Kelly?
“Yep, first you don’t know what a piece of tech is; then Jax has a good idea.” Looking back towards the plate, Zach and Kelly jumped when it wasn’t there any more.
“Uh guys … are we going or what?” Jax was already at the door ready to go with the golden disk under his arm.  Without saying another word the trio setout to the fields to see what the golden plate could do.
*___------------Gabel’s Crossing------------___*
Halfway to the fields, the trio simply chatted about the past 3 weeks and how they were holding up.  Jax and Kelly told stories of there ‘adventurous’ exploits while Zach explained the finer points of living with less money and adventure.
“You two really do have it made” Zach said sadly.
“How so? We get attacked every other day. I’d kill for a life like yours!” Jax retorted earning a smack across the back of his head.
“Would you both just be quiet? Cause we’re far enough from town to test this thing already.” Kelly took a quick look around “in fact, this is where I found the thing.”
“Well then, let’s get started!” chirped Zach as he set the device on the ground and pressed the button on its side.  The device quickly rose about a foot into the air while emitting a soft humming sound.  “This is so COOL! Man am I glad I decided to visit today!”
“Whatever, that humming is getting annoyin- Ahhh! Why dose my head hurt so much!” exclaimed Kelly as she grasped the sides of her head as the hum got considerably louder.  Jax was also covering his ears, his face contorted in pain.
Zach started to feel the effects to when he noticed the plate had started to glow. “Guys look!” The others turned to face the disk and noticed the six symbols had started to glow one by one and in the hum, faint whispers could be herd with each symbol.
Honesty… The apples on the upper left started glowing red…
Kindness… The pink butterflies on the lower right started to glow as well…
Generosity… The blue diamonds on the upper right…
The voice grew clearer with every light, as the humming also got more intense.
Laughter… The yellow and blue party balloons on the lower left…
Loyalty… The rainbow lightning bolt on the top…
The humming had, at this point, intensified to an excruciating degree causing all but Zach to fall to the ground in pain.  Barely standing, he could see the final symbol in the center had yet to light, and the wind had begun to swirl into the disk as it slowly turned vertical to the ground. As the six-pointed star in the middle lit up in a magnificent hot pink, he could hear the voice as if the person saying it was right next to him.
Magic…
The disk exploded and a bright swirling vortex was left in its wake.  The force of the blast didn’t send him flying but rather it started to pull him and the others in!  Zach grabbed onto the ground so he wouldn’t get sucked in but Jax and Kelly both flew into him, making him lose his grip.  All three of them screamed as they fell through the gaping hole in reality. Zach felt like he was being stretched and twisted as they flew forward.  A second hole appeared in their path and engulfed them.
As they felt to the ground, Zach, Jax and Kelly lost hold on their ability to stay awake and fell into the blackness that had begun to engulf there vision, drifting into unconsciousness.
*___------------Ponyville Library------------___*
A violet unicorn was reading a book in the library while drinking some tea when the whole building suddenly shook uncontrollably.  Her dragon assistant, who was sleeping-in after a late night of helping her, awoke with a start upstairs and hurried to find his care-taker.
  “Twilight what’s going on here?!” The dragon screamed as he fell down the stairs only to be caught by Twilight’s magic.  “Uh…I meant to do that.”
“Sure you did Spike” Twilight face-hoofed and left the library, all the while carrying Spike.  When she got outside, the shaking that had apparently rocked the entire town had stopped.
Twilight looked to see if she could find any damage but found none.  She then turned to enter the library but was stopped when she herd her name being called.  She looked up to see a very unhappy rainbow-maned, cyan pegasus hovering above her.
“Twilight! What the hay just happened? One moment I’m enjoying my afternoon nap and the next I’m falling from my cloud!”
“I don’t know Rainbow.  But did you see anything strange when it happened?”
Rainbow thought for a moment before she responded “well, there was a flash of light from the fields outside Ponyville. You think it could have something to do with that shockwave just now?”
“Maybe” Twilight pondered “But let’s get the others first, I think we may need there help for this.”
“On it! I’ll get word to them in ten seconds flat!” boasted Rainbow before she dashed away in a rainbow blur. Twilight began to walk towards the outskirts of Ponyville, hoping that whatever caused something as large as that shockwave wasn’t some new threat on Equestria.
She has had just about enough of those for one lifetime after the whole discord fiasco four years ago.
*___------------Ponyville: West Entrance------------___*
Twilight and Rainbow sat at the town entrance and waited for their friends for about 15 minutes before they started to show.  The first to arrive was an orange mare with a blonde mane, tied back with a hair band.
“Twi’, ya mind tellin’ me what the hay this is all about?” she asked in a southern drawl.
“Let’s wait for everyone else Applejack, I want to only have to explain the details once.”  Twilight remarked
“That’s fine with me Twi’, I’ll just be sittin’ over there then.” AJ replied understandingly as she made her way to a nearby bench.  As she sat down, two more mares showed up.
“Hi Twilight! Is this about that big scary wary shaking that happened this morning? Cause I was wondering what had happened to cause that and mm hmm mm…” the white unicorn next to her had shoved her hoof into the others mouth.
“Pinkie dear please be quiet, that awful shaking made me ruin my latest dress and it will take hours to redo all of that work!” the unicorn complained as she tossed her violet mane.
A timid looking pegasus that had just arived flew down next to the mare “Don’t worry Rarity; I’m sure you can get your dresses done in time.”
Rarity looked at her friend and smiled “thank you Fluttershy, you always know what to say.”  Fluttershy blushed lightly as she hid behind her long pink mane.
Twilight looked towards her friends and decided it was time to explain why she called them here.  “Okay girls, we all know that a rather large explosion of some kind happened earlier today, right?” all of the other mares nodded “well Rainbow said that she saw a flash of light outside Ponyville and we are going to investigate, this shouldn’t take more then half an hour so let’s get this over with.” The others all cheered and they began the trek to the fields.
*___------------Ponyville Fields------------___*
After another botched attempt at their cutie marks, The CMC and decided to call it a day.  That thought changed when an explosion happened not far away.  Scared witless they cowered under a nearby bush, and shook in fear.  After a good while, the yellow filly decided to try and talk “do ya girls know wha’ tha’ was?”
“Applebloom, if I knew what it was, do you think I would be sitting here?” remarked the orange pegasus filly. The two of them started arguing over what the explosion was, what to do, and if anyone else had herd it. The third filly simply watched and thought here we go again
“Come on Scootaloo! Somepony other than us had ta of heard it! It was HUGE!”
“No way! We are way to far from Ponyville for anypony to hear it!”
“Are not!”
“Are too!”
“Are not!”
“Are too!”
“Are not!”
“Are too!”
The last crusader’s patience had finally reached its end.
“GIRLS!” screamed the white unicorn filly, ultimately silencing the other two. “Stop squabbling already so we can investigate what happened and figure out what it was!”  Applebloom simply stared at her friend, shocked by the sudden outburst while Scootaloo nodded her head.
Meanwhile in Manehatten Iron Will shuttered in one of his seminars. He felt pride and fear that his student had become a teacher, bringing a tear to his eye.<
“Not bad Sweetie Belle, looks like those lessons on assertiveness from Fluttershy are really helping you come out of your ‘silence bubble.’”  Sweetie blushed and scraped her hoof on the ground “oh it’s nothing really, but we should get going.”
“Yeah Sweetie’s right, we need to go investi…invitee…” stammered Scootaloo.
“Investigate?” Sweetie corrected.
“What are you, a dictionary? Let’s get to searching! We might even get our cutie marks!” and with that the three began to run to the location of the disturbance screaming…
“CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS INVESTIGATERS! YAY!”
*___------------Ponyville Fields------------___*
As the six friends got to the center of the fields they noticed the grass looked like it had been under a current of water flowing from a single point.  Deciding to follow the grass to the source, they found a solid curtain of smoke blocking there views.
“Whoa, what happened here?” remarked Rainbow as she looked ahead in awe, the others sharing her expression.
The scampering of hooves drew the attention of Rarity, Applejack, and Rainbow. The three of them turned to find the CMC charging towards them. “Twilight dear? The crusaders are here.  You and the others take care of this while me, Rainbow, and Applejack make sure they don’t cause any trouble.” Rarity said in a rather dejected manner.
“Ok then Fluttershy and Pinkie you’re with me, Spike, you stay with Rarity and help with the crusaders.”
Spike’s eyes grew with pleasure “Yes, Mam!” he saluted and jumped from his perch on Twilight’s back.  He was willing to do anything to help his crush, although lately he hasn’t gotten the same pleasure from the act as before and he couldn’t quite put his claw on why.  He shrugged off the feeling and ran to help in the makeshift blockade.
As the crusaders approached Sweetie noticed they weren’t alone “Rarity, what are you doing here? I thought you were working on that dress for Spitfire.”
Rarity quickly shushed her little sister “not so loud Sweetie! Rainbow is right there! If she knew I had a dress for Spitfire she would ask me when she would be over to pick it up and I can’t do that to a client.”
“What was that all about?” Rainbow asked before her ears were assaulted.
“Oh My Gosh! Rainbow Dash is here! Can you teach me to fly today! Please please please please PLEEEASE?” Scootaloo begged as she bounced around the cyan mare.
“Now is a bit of a bad time for that kiddo.” Rainbow floated down to ruffle the filly’s mane.
“Awww. But you never have time!” Pouted Scootaloo.
"Heh heh heh..." Rainbow chuckled nervously
During the commotion Applebloom simply stared at Spike. She didn’t know when or how but the young dragon had stolen her heart. She sighed dreamily as her sister walked up next to her.
“What’re ya starin’ at ther’ sis?” Applejack asked her sister with a knowing smirk.
“NOTHIN’!” Applebloom replied a little too quickly, a blush growing on her face.  “Just wonderin’ what ya’ll are doin’ here. Did ya have the same idea as us?”
Applejack chuckled at her sister’s embarrassment before replying in a stern tone. “Apparently so, but that ain’t the point, ya’ll three need ta skedaddle on home ya hear?”
“But AJ! We want ta know what happened!” Applebloom protested.  Before Applejack could respond Twilight could be heard screaming.
“Girls get over here quick! We need some help here!”
Their concern made them forget the reason they were standing there and bolted into the smoke.  Upon arrival they all gasped, for on the ground lay three unconscious ponies, a mare, a stallion, and a young foal. Fluttershy was examining the colt when she looked up at the others with concern.  “All three have concussions; we need to get them to Ponyville hospital now.”
Without need of permission Applejack picked up the stallion and Twilight lifted the mare with her magic.  Fluttershy cradled the foal in her arms and everypony made their way to Ponyville as fast as they could.

*___------------Ponyville Hospital: Room 53------------___*
Beep....Beep....Beep...
Jax awoke to the sound of some annoying machine that denied him his slumber.  Although he wanted to destroy the darn thing he couldn't seem to get his eyes open.  After his fifth attempt his eyes opened to a world of colorful blurs.  He wasn't alone in the room though, for as soon as he sat up he heard someone nearby.
"Oh! You're awake already? We expected you to be under for a couple of days not a few hours! I'll be right back with the doctor, please wait here patiently."
Confused Jax tried to clear his vision, only to find that he couldn’t. The door soon opened again and he could hear the nurse and a male voice with her.  “Hello again sir, the doctor would like to speak with you sense you’re conscious now.”
“Thank you… um” Jax stammered realizing he didn’t know the nurse’s name
“Redheart dear, my name is Nurse Redheart. And this is Dr. Blackwing.”
“Sorry if you can’t see properly at the moment” Dr. Blackwing explained “we had to give you some sedatives so we could get the casts on you properly without causing any pain.”
Well that explains my vision thought Jax, then another thought struck him and he panicked for a moment. “Excuse me, Dr.?”
“Yes?”
“How did I get here?”
“Some of the locals found you in a feild near by and brought you three here.”
“Ok...and how long is my sight going to be like this? I kind of want to talk to my sister.”
“Do you mean that the others found weren’t your wife and son?” Nurse Redheart asked innocently. Jax had a poker-face on for a good 15 seconds before it twisted into one of horror and disgust and a shiver went down his spine.
“I’ll… take that as a no.” Dr. Blackwing stated writing down the information “and as for the sedatives, the effects should be wearing off soon."
Just as Dr. Blackwing said, the effects on his vision started to fade. “Hey you’re right, I'm starting to see again! Thank-” Jax stopped mid sentence as he saw not a doctor or nurse in front of him but instead stood a snow white pony with a pink mane, and a black pegasus wearing a medical coat. After the initial breakdown of his thinking capabilities Jax did what anyone would do. Scream.
“AHHHHH!"
“Sir, please calm down and tell us what’s wrong!” Nurse Redheart said trying to stop Jax’s panic attack. Jax only screamed more.
"AAHHHHHHHHH!” Jax then fainted and fell back onto his pillow.
“Well that was…um…different” Dr. Blackwing said dumbfounded
“Ug… What is with the screaming! I’m trying to sleep here!”
Dr. Blackwing turned to see the other patient had woken up and hoped that she wouldn’t have a similar reaction. “Excuse me miss, but I need to ask some questions about you and your brother here.”
“Ok that’s…wait a sec, How did you-?” Kelly began with her head still in a daze. But before she could finish she was interrupted.
“That tidbit of information was all we got from him before he screamed and fainted at the sight of us. I assume it is safe to say that both I and Nurse Redheart here would prefer that you don’t do the same.”
“Hold on! How did we get here and where is my friend? He was with us when that big flashy thing knocked us out.”
“Some of the locals found you lying in the fields yesterday and brought you here along with your brother and a small child”
A small child? I don't remember anyone younger than Jax there thought Kelly “So I'm in a hospital?”
“Yes, you are.”
Okay that’s good... hopefully. Kelly thought before asking her next question “Well then can I actually meet you face to face? Talking to a pair of silloettes is a bit too odd for me.”
“Um” Dr. Blackwing realizing that he and Redheart were still standing on the other side of the curtain with the slumbering stallion.  “Alright but please, don’t scream like a banshee! My ears still hurt from your brother.”
“I promise not to scream.”
Dr. Blackwing, followed by Nurse Redheart, went around the curtain.  The mare looked calmer than her brother and as promised didn’t scream.  She simply stared ahead in mild shock with one thought running through her mind.  “I got saved by ponies?”
After recovering her sences Kelly was able to respond.  "Excuse me, but I'll need to talk to the others in private after they wake before I can answer any questions."
"That's alright I suppose, just as long as you keep them calm, we don't need any more screams from this room." and with that Dr Blackwing turned to leave with Nurse Redheart.
"Before you go, could you bring the ones who found us here?  I'd like to thank them personaly."
"Certainly dear, I'll send for them right away." Nurse Redheart said before closing the door.
*___------------10 minutes later------------/___*
Kelly was humming a song as she lay in bed when Jax finally started waking up.  "Good morning, sleeping beauty."
"What happened? I had this crazy dream about talking ponies." Jax groaned from his side of the room.
"Sorry to say this bro, but this isn't a dream."
"What?"
"Your screaming woke me up and I meet them too."
Jax could only groan in defeat as what little sanity he had left vanished.  Then he immediately cheered up as he got an idea.  "Well at least your ok Kell, but um... where's Zach?"
"I don't know, the doctor said somethin' 'bout a child found near us but nothin' bout an adult."
"Wait...you don't think..."
"What? that Zach got turned into a little kid? Ha! like that could even happen. Not even my magic can do that, and I won the title of best Magi in town!"
"Yeah, your right. Let's just hope he's okay."  Jax tried to get up but found it rather difficult.  He looked at his hand to see why he couldn't grip the rail to find he didn't have a hand but a hoof! He looked at the other to find the same thing. He was coated in colorful fur rather than his old shirt and jeans.  "K-Kelly? h-have you l-looked at yourself?"
Kelly was confused by her brothers sudden studder and question.  "Uh.. Why?" as she asked she turned towards her head and saw she no longer had fingers she instead had hooves. "What the Hay!"
Now it was Jax's turn to be confused "what the What?"
"Why cant I say Hay! Gaaaah! I can't even swear right! What is going on!"
Jax tried getting out of bed but found he couldn't get further than four inches. "Okay Kelly, this is probably a bad idea but if you can, try to stand up and walk over here. I can't cause something won't let me get out of the bed."
Kelly found it rather easy to get up from the bed and walk dispite not having been equine before in her life.  She walked over to the curtains and drew them back and got a good look at her brother.  "Wow Jax, you've been a pegasus for less than a day and you already have broken bones."
"Pegasus? Broken bones? What the hay are you talking about?"
"Well *snicker* both your wings are in casts and are being held in place." Kelly was about to bust a gut from the sight infront of her.
Jax glared daggers at his sister. "and what is so funny about this?"
"The fact it's happening to you! Ha hahahahaha!" Kelly burst and started rolling on the floor laughing.
"At least I don't have a horn sticking out of my head!" Kelly's laughter immediatly died and she felt around her head with her hoof until she hit something hard and felt the impact in a way she was certain she shouldn't have.  She then (somehow) grabbed a mirror off of a counter nearby and gazed at her reflection.
"Your bucking kidding me... I'm a Unicorn!"
"Ha! Who's laughing now!" while the siblings continued to argue on who was worst off, they were interupted by a loud yawn from across the room.  turning their attention to the source of the sound they found a green colt in the bed, glaring at them with tired eyes.  "Do you mind? I'm tring to sleep!" hissed the colt in an all too familiar voice, albet in a higher pitch.
"Zach... is that...you?" Both ponies asked at the same time.
"And who, might I ask, are you tecnicolor ponies suppost to be?" the colt replied in a rather annoyed tone.
"Dude it's us, Jax and Kell" Jax stated, waving at Zach from his bed.
After a moment the info slid its way into Zach's brain and he could only stare at what stood before him. There was a teal pegasus with a electric yellow mane and Royal blue eyes. Beside him was a peach unicorn with a rich chocolate  brown mane and tail as well as blood red eyes that stared at him in awe.
"Ok, dose somepony want to explain to me who you guys are? and why am I in a hospital?"  Kelly suntered up to his bed, staring at him the entire time.  "Uhh... are you alright?"
Kelly then grabbed him into a bonecrushing hug, squeeling "OhMyGosh! You're so CUTE! I could just cuddle you forever!"
"*Gasp*...Can't...breath...need...Air!" Kelly realised she was cutting of his air supply and dropped him back on the bed as he gasped for breath. "Who are you! and Don't EVER call me cute again!"
Kelly was currently oblivious to the first half of Zach's statements. "Why shouldn't I? I mean really, look for your self!" Kelly brought up a mirror to Zach's face and he got a good look at himself.  He was grass green with a seafoam blue mane and dark yellow eyes. he unlike the others still had his overcoat on and it had shrunk to fit him, he aslo had an extreame case of bed mane.
"Ya call this cute? I look like crap." Zach stared at Kelly with a confused stare as the door opened up.
"Well its nice ta see ya'll are better already!" The trio quickly looked to the door to see an orange mare with a blonde mane and a stetson adorned apon her head. As she walked in she was followed by five more mares, three fillys, and a small dragon.  When Zach saw the dragon, his eyes widened.
Kelly was the first to respond "Hello, are you the ones who found us?"
"Yes, but allow us to introduce ourselves" the purple unicorn coughed in to her hoof "Hello, my name is Twilight Sparkle, and these are my friends Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie." Twilight said pionting to each mare.
"And I'm Spike!" said the small dragon on Twilight's back.
Pinkie had, somehow, gotten right in Jax's face in a matter of half a second and began rambling. "Hi I'm Pinkie Pie and you're new so that means I get to throw you a party and *GASP* I need to go work on that right away! Bye!" she then zoomed out of the room leaving a pony shaped cloud of dust in her wake. The force of the departure yanked Jax's blanket off, revealing the rest of his body.
The three fillies ran up to Jax's bed and stared at his flank.  "Hey! He don't have a Cutie Mark!" exclaimed the white unicorn filly only too recieve a stern glare from Rarity.
"Sweetie Belle! What have I told you about being impolite, now apologize to this fine gentlecolt!"
"But she don't have one either!" the orange pegasus filly next to her stated defending her friend as she pointed towards Kelly.  Rainbow flew down and bonked her on the top of her head
"Scootaloo, that is not something you just point out about somepony!" Scootaloo grumbled as she rubbed the top of her head.
"I'm with Scoots on this. 's just plain wierd fer somepony so old ta not have one!" The last filly joined in only to get a similar look from Applejack before she snapped.
"That Dose it! Applebloom you and the others Apologize this instant!"
The three fillies hung their heads and turned to face Jax and Kelly. "We're sorry."
Jax could only smile "It's ok, but could you three sweet little angels tell me your names?"
All of them instantly perked up and began introducing themselves.
"I'm Applebloom!" "I'm Scootaloo!" "and I'm Sweetie Belle! together we are..." all but the newcomers had covered their ears by this point, knowing what was next.
"THE CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS!"
Jax's ears were ringing for a bit before he spoke "Wow, you girls got some lungs on ya! Hey Zach ar.. Zach? you okay man?" Zach was cowering under his covers wimpering now, shaking uncontrolably.
Fluttershy was the first one to get to him, and spoke in the most soothing voice she could. "Are you alright?" she lifted the covers and saw the fear in his bloodshot eyes. "It's okay, there's no reason to be scared." she cooed, trying to calm him down.
Jax and Kelly could only look at eachother in confusion. He was allways the confident one, scared of nothing! He even helped on hunts every now and then. Never had they seen Zach in such a pitiful state.
"Would you like to tell me why you're scared?" Zach shook some more before nodding. "Oh, Thank you, now can you tell me? I promise not to tell anyone... I mean... if that's alright with you." He looked down before he leaned forward and started wispering in Fluttershy's ear.
Rainbow turned to confront Jax and Kelly about Zach's current condition but Spike beat her to the punch.  "Is he gonna be okay?"
"To be completely honest, I don't know. He's never been this scared of anything before, at least not in front of us.  He responded to his name, but he didn't seem to recognise us." Jax replied, worry for his friend evident on his face.
When they turned back to their friend, Fluttershy had managed to get him out of the covers and calmed down.  "There, there now, you just lay down and get some rest. You need it after reliving all that." After she placed him in bed, Fluttershy started singing a lullaby and not long after Zach was snoring softly. Rainbow and Jax were the first to ask in the barrage of questions
Rainbow Dash: "Fluttershy! What was that about just now!?"
Jax: "Is he okay?"
Applejack: "Is he hurt?"
Kelly: "He's gonna be okay right?
Twilight: "Is there anything I can help with?"
Rarity: "Is he going to be alright deary?"
"Everypony please be quiet." Fluttershy interupted, stroking the sleeping colt's mane "the poor colt needs his rest, let's continue outside the room."
"Um... I'm a bit tied up so you'll have to continue this without me." Jax said pointing to the casts on his back.
"Yikes, what did you do to yourself?" Rainbow asked cringing at the sight.
"I honestly don't remember."
Before Rainbow could reply on how stupid that sounded a Doctor came into the room hovering a clipboard infront of him.  "Excuse me, but visiting hours are over so you'll all have to leave till tomorrow." A collective 'aww' could be heard from the CMC. the doctor simply found this cute to say the least. "While the mare and child can leave in a couple of minutes after we fill out some paperwork, the pegasus will have to stay for a few more days. He really did a number on his wings."
Kelly was excited she and Zach were getting released, until reality set in. "Its great that we're out of the hospital  and all but um... we kinda don't have anywhere to stay."
"That's okay I have a guest room in the library and some extra matresses for sleepovers" Twilight offered "you can stay as long as you need to." Fluttershy started to look worried.
"I'm sorry Twilight, but um... I don't think that's such a good idea."
"Why? Is there somethin' wrong Fluttershy?" Applejack asked
"Well um... It's just that... I promised not to tell... but um..."
Pinkie burst from a nearby flower pot with the plant on her head, and began speaking in an ominous voice. "FOREVER!" Flutteshy made an "eep!" and hid behind Rarity, as Pinkie slid back into the pot.
"It's okay dear, if them staying in Twilight's home is a problem then I suppose they can stay at my boutique." Rarity chimed "although, there may not be enough beds. I'm sure that I can whip up something suitable in the meantime."
"Actually, I'd like it if I could take care of... um" fluttershy trailed off, realizing she didn't know any of the Hospitalized ponies' names.
Kelly was the first to catch on and face-hoofed "I can't belive we forgot to introduce ourselves, My name is Kelly."
"and I'm Jax, the little one over there is Zach." Jax finished from his bed.   He and Kelly got strange looks from everypony.  "What? Something I said?"
"Well," Rainbow began "it's just that those are some very odd names ya got there."
"They're normal from where we're from."  Kelly responded.
"Not over here the're not. can you spell them for us?"
"Sure, my name is spelled K-E-L-L-Y, Jax's is spelled J-A-X, and Zach's name is spelled Z-A-C-H.
Twilight had a concerned face on. "I don't recognize any of those and I doubt the doctor will."
Jax was, in nice terms 'upset', "Great, just great, not only do I get battered and broken by a flash of light, but now my name is no longer legible! This entire situation can't Possibly get any worse!"
Kelly face-hoofed again "Jax, I told you NEVER to say that phrase again. Because when you say that it dose get worse!"
"Oh really? Then enlighten me on how this can!" Jax had a scoul on his face, thinking he had won this argument.
"Well then Jax, have you noticed that something is missing from our possesion?" Jax had to think a moment before it hit him.
"AH! My Swords! Where are my Swords! Twilight did you find anything else besides us! Please say YES!" Jax was rambling like a madcolt.
"I'm sorry Jax but no, the only things we found that wasn't a pony was the overcoat Zach was wearing."
Kelly decided that they had dwelled on the topic long enough and turned the attention of the group to a more pressing matter "Well, the loss of our stuff is unfortunate, we still have the name issue to deal with. Applejack, can you tell me what makes names so important here, besides identification what would be a good name for somepony?"
"Hard ta say, but if a had to, I'd have ta say a name is somethin' that describes yer personality and tallents."
Kelly sat for a moment "hmm... I was always good with weaving spells and charms together...Dose Charmcaster sound good for a name?"
"The name sound lovely darling, simply Lovely!" Rarity exclaimed. The newly named Charmcaster grinned triumphantly.
"Hey! What am I gonna be called!" Jax whined from his bed.
"Considering your Obsession with swords, how about Swordbringer?" both Jax and Rainbow looked at her with raised eyebrows.
"I don't know, it needs to be about 20% cooler. This is a name for a pegasus after all."
"I agree with Rainbow 100%, and I am NOT obsessed with swords! I just like collecting them is all" Rainbow smiled that she was getting backup on the issue and Jax's embarasment.
"Okay... How dose Sword Blitz sound?"
"Yes, that is perfect! From now on, that is what the world shall know me by!" Sword Blitz declared while striking the best pose he could.  Rainbow was finding his enthusiasm kinda funny.
"Uh... Charm?" Fluttershy was sittling next to the now awake colt "I think that you need to talk to him."
As Charmcaster walked up she could see just how nervous Zach seemed "Hi Zach, how are you feeling?"
"How do you know my name?"  Charmcaster was taken aback by his question. "you mean you don't remember me? We've been friends for years." Zach shook his head with his ears flat. Charmcaster sighed, it seemed getting younger wasn't the only thing to happen to her friend.  "Well, besides your name can you remember anything else?"
Zach shook his head "No, I can't remember anything before I woke up this morning."
Charmcaster didn't know what to ask after that. so she asked the first qusetion that came to mind. "Do you know what you are?" Zach simply shook his head "well then lets have a look shall we?"  Zach blushed as she dug through his mane. "Geez! How much mane can you have, this is rediculous!" she kept digging until she found what she was looking for, a grin grew on her face.
"What'd ya find there?" Applebloom asked out of curiosity
"What the barber will need to look out for when he gets this mane cut." Charmcaster anounced.
"He has a horn!?" Scootaloo exclaimed in shock.
"What? is that a problem?" Charmcaster asked with slight annoyance.
"Umm... a little bit..." Scootaloo replied, her eyes wide as sausers.
"How so?" every other pony In the room turned to face the filly, sharing Charm's curiosity or annoyance.
Scootaloo kept her eyes on Zach "Cause if you haven't noticed he's got wings!"
Everypony turned and gasped when they saw that in the midst of Charms search, Zach had taken off his overcoat and was infact spoarting a small set of wings.
"But that's Immpossible! Only the Princesses are Alicorns!" Twilight was suffering a mental breakdown before she fainted.  Rarity was the first to recover from the shock.
"I think it's best if we all head home, anyone disagree?"
In unison everypony shook their heads and Zach put on his coat. He was positive it was a good idea not to cause the same reaction Twilight had to the rest of the hospital.
*___------------Ponyvile Hospital: Foyar------------___*
As they were leaving the hospital Charmcaster started to fill out the paperwork with the doctors, she stopped when they got to Zach's name, realizing they forgot to make one up for him.  Zach looked at himself in a nearby mirror and thought that his colors looked familiar.  He briefly caught a glimse of a large rock covered with water and plants, it seemed familiar but he couldn't place why.  Then a single word ran through his mind and it seemed to fit when he thought of the colors.  "Terra."
The doctor with the clipboard turned around "Hmm?"
"My name, it's Terra."
"Okay then." the doctor began to scribble down the informantion "Terra...coat color...mane...and done, your free to go."  With that everypony left to their homes. Rarity caried Twilight seeing as she was still passed out, taking Sweetie Bell, Charmcaster, and Spike with her. the Apple sisters left for Sweet Apple Acres to get ready for the harvest that was a week away. Rainbow flew off to her cloud home, no one saw Scootaloo leave and only assumed she had gone home earlier. Fluttershy took Terra with her to her cottage, he dozed off on her back on the way there.
*___------------Ponyville Hospital: Room 53------------___*
Sword Blitz layed in bed staring at the ceiling. It was 10:34 according to the clock on the wall but one thing remained fact sence the others left.
"I'm so BORED right now!" he then decided sleeping was more enticing than the ceilling and quickly fell asleep.

Authors Note: This chapter is going to be slightly different than the others. the story is going  to change from pony to pony to get their tale from this point in time and will happen again later at similar parts of the story.
I'm also getting the hang of writing on Fimfiction! That's it for now, so enjoy the chapter.
Chapter 3
The First Night
*___------------(Rainbow Dash) Rainbow's Home------------___*
As Rainbow Dash flew into her house, she decided that it would be best to call it a night and head straight to bed.  However when she got there she found it hard to sleep at all. After tossing and turning for over an hour, Rainbow lost her cool and screamed in frustration.
"Why can't I get some sleep!" She stared at her ceiling while spread out over her cloud-bed.  After a minute or so, she started thinking about that new pegasus stallion Sword Blitz. "He was kinda funny when he acted up." she stopped her train of thought and tried shaking the mental images from her mind but it only made her think of him more.
I can't be falling for him, can I? No. No it's WAY to early for that. I mean he just got to Ponyville. Heck he hasn't even been in town yet! There's absolutely, NO, WAY!  Rainbow then slamed her face into the pillows around herself and groaned
"This is gonna be a long night" Rainbow muttered to herself before fruitlessly tring go to sleep.
*___------------(Rarity) Twilight's Library------------___*
"Sweetie Belle? Spike? Could one of you get the door please?"  Spike ran up and opened the door for the others. On the trip to the library Rarity had learned that Twilight was heavier than she looked, though she would never say it to her friend's face. She carried Twilight to her room upstairs layed her in bed. Spike then tucked her into covers and Twilight snuggled into her pillow, content with being in a bed.
Rairity then turned to the little assistant "Get some sleep Spike, you've earned it." With that Spike wordlessly made for his basket and fell asleep instantly
Charmcaster was looking around the library at all the books with fasination when Rarity began making her way downstairs.  "Rarity, remind me in the morning to come back here. These are some interesting books!"
Rarity smiled at her new friends intrest. "Certainly darling, but first let us make way for the Boutique, Sweetie has school tomarrow and it is already past her bedtime as well as ours."
Sweetie as if on cue, let out a large yawn. "But I'm not tired." Charmcaster giggled at the sight. "Sorry kid, but ya just proved yourself wrong. Here, you can ride on my back on the way to the Boutique."
Rarity didn't want to be bested in the game of generosity, so she quickly stepped in. "No no, Sweetie is my little sister and I can carry her just fine. A guest shouldn't have to worry about these kinds of issues." Sweetie looked between the two, confused as to who she was traveling on.
Charmcaster gave Rarity a wary look "Rarity you've already exausted yourself carrying Twilight, you need the rest as much as Spike dose." Rarity tried to stare her down but gave up after awhile realizing that she was right. carrying Twilight had not only worn her out but made her much in need of a shower.
"Alright, I suppose you can carry her to the Boutique. Its just a couple of houses down the street anyways."  With that Sweetie climbed onto Charmcaster's back and the three made there way to Rarity's humble abode.
*___------------(Applejack) Sweet Apple Acres: Apple Family Home------------___*
Applejack had just finished tucking her sister into bed and was heading downstairs when she bumped into her brother.  "Sorry there Big Mac, wasn't lookin' were I was goin'"
Big Mcintosh saw how tired his sister was and immediatly was concerned. "Ya look like ya tried to buck all of the farm again sis. Is everythin' alright?" At the mention of that particular year Applejack cringed at the memory. She knew how bad she looked now that her brother had enlightened her to the fact.
"I'm just tired is all, There's been alot a crazy t'day and Applebloom wouldn't stop talkin' all the way here. I'll see ya in he mornin' Big Mac." and with that she made her way to her room. She stopped to put her prized stetson on the bed post before colapsing onto her matress, falling asleep instantly.
*___------------(Fluttershy) Fluttershy's Cottage------------___*
Fluttershy landed in front of her home and looked back to find Terra sleeping soundly.  It was taking all her mental strength not to hug the colt as she opened the door.  When she walked in, her pet bunny Angel was standing impatiently in the middle of the room while giving her the stink eye.
"Oh! Angel what are you still doing up? Shouldn't you be in bed?"  Angel just glared at her and said something in his rabbit sign language that only Fluttershy could interpret consisting of pointing at the clock, herself, and stomping the ground. "I'm sorry I was out so late Angel, but I had to go slower that usual. I didn't want to wake up our guest."
Angel had finally noticed that Fluttershy wasn't alone and had a green foal on her back.  His face was one of stunned confusion as Fluttershy walked past him to the guest room.  She quietly and gently placed Terra in the bed and watched him get comfertable.
"Good night, Terra." She gave him a light peck on the head and left the room, leaving Terra to dream in peace. After she left though, a gleeming white figure, flew from under his pillow and out the window, vanishing into the Everfree.
*___------------(Pinkie Pie) Sugar Cube Corner------------___*
Pinkie had finished preping her party cannon, and she was ready to party 'til she couldn't party any more.  After waiting for a couple of hours she realized that the party might be a bit delayed, and was very disappointed.  She would comfront the new ponies when she saw them next, and throw them the biggest party they ever saw! She would get their names from her friends, seeing that she left before they could tell her.
Mrs. Cake came into the room soon after Pinkie finished packing her loaded cannon.  "Pinkie? you alright dear?" Pinke flashed the biggest smile she could. "Of course I am! sure I can't throw them a party tonight, but that means that I can make a huge-super-duper-party later!"  Mrs. Cake gave the party pony a werry look before sighing.
"Alright Pinkie, just promise me you won't freakout like last time. We can't afford a repeat of that."  Mrs. Cake shuttered slightly from some unseen force as Pinkie gave her signature pledge.
"Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye!" Mrs. Cake left after saying goodnight to Pinkie, who in truth was furious. The last time somepony twarted one of her suprise parties, she ran through town destroying anything in her way to find them, but she Pinkie promised not to this time so she would have to wait. The only thing she didn't know was how, and the thought upset her. However, the mood didn't last much longer, and she jumped happily into her bed to dream big, new, spectacular ideas for the party-to-be.
*___------------(Charmcaster) Carousel Boutique------------___*
Following Rarity to the boutique, Charmcaster had been thinking about how she and the others had gotten to Ponyville and was begining to feel very depressed.  Rarity noticed this as she was opening the door. "Darling, is something bothering you?" Charmcaster snapped from her thoughts and gave an appoligetic smile.
"Sorry about that, I kinda got lost in thought for a moment."
"That's alright dear. Now lets get inside before we freeze, it is getting a bit chilly for my tastes."  Rarity was right about the cold, 'cause Charm felt a shiver travel up her spine as she hastily made he way inside. Careful not to wake Sweetie, she carefully followed Rarity without speaking.  When they got to Sweetie's room she carefully slid the filly off of her back. Rarity looked at her with confusion as they left the room.
"Charm, why didn't you just use your magic to levitate Sweetie off? It would have been much easier." Charmcaster was at a loss, she didn't even know she could levitate objects. She had only been a unicorn a day, how would she know!
"Um...well" Due to the lack of a responce, Rarity had started to give her guest a questioning look, until Charm remembered something the doctors told her while filling the forms. "The doctors said I was suffering from 'Magic Deficiancy' and that I couldn't use my magic for at least three days."
Rarity's eyes went wide. "My Goodness! I'm so sorry, I had no idea! Let's get you to bed so you can rest." She then grabbed Charmcaster with her magic, brought her to the guest room, and dropped her into the bed. "If you need anything at all, just call for me or Sweetie Belle. Oh! and the restroom is right across the hall. Goodnight!"
Charmcaster was still sitting there dumbfounded for a minute, she then realized she was almost in the same boat as Sword Blitz when it came to her condition. "well at least I'm not hospitalized." she mused to herself before laying down to sleep. Unknown to her, a dark red shadow had left the underside of her bed and lept out the nearby window.
*___------------(Scootaloo) CMC Clubhouse------------___*
Scootaloo was pacing in the middle of the clubhouse. She had been living there for about five years after she ran away from the orphanage. for the passed hour couldn't help but wonder what was going on, and how very odd it was.
Scoots was muttering her toughts aloud. She had found it helped her think when stressed and after seeing an alicorn her age, how couldn't she be?
"This is just to strange, First a bunch of ponies are found in the middle of an explosion site, and then one of 'em dosen't even know he's an alicorn? This is just stinks of mystery. The're hidding something, I just know it! I'm going to need some help to find out what though. Maybe I can get the other crusaders to help me? Yeah, that'll work nicely."
Scootaloo let out a very large yawn and decided she had pondered long enough for the night.  She went to her cot that she used for sleepovers at the clubhouse and hopped in.  She was also thanking Applebloom silently that she had exepted that dare to make a heater, she learned her first week of winter weather that the clubhouse had horrid insulation. She drifted to sleep almost instantly, wrapped in the warmth of the blankets.
*___------------(Sword Blitz) Ponyville Hospital: Room 53------------___*
Sword Blitz woke up suddenly. Confused, he looked at the clock to see that it read 3:47 and noticed that moonlight was pouring into the room from a nearby window.  He tried to go back to sleep but found it rarther difficult. As he saw his predicament; he could try to sleep more or stay awake and have some time to think. Opting to ponder his situation, he began to think of what happened with the disk.  He remembered the disk levitating the humming but he couldn't remember much after that, like his mind was wiped from when he passed out from the hum to when he woke up in the hospital a pony.
"Looks like Zach isn't the only one with memory loss. I'll ask Charmcaster what she remembers when I get out of here." Sword Blitz looked at the clock again and saw that he had spent a hour pondering. Knowing he needed his rest to get out faster, he went back to sleep.  He didn't notice the bluish-silver shadow that had crawled out from under the plant in the corner, as it left out the window.
*___------------Everfree Forest------------___*
Three shadows gathered in a small clearing, the air turning icy cold in their pressence as they changed into more animal like forms. The forms consisted of a raven, a monkey, and a panther, the blood red raven spoke first. "The mare was more stubburn then I thought she would be. I did manage to get all but a fourth of her memories though."
The midnight blue monkey sneered. "At least your target stayed asleep! That idiot pegasus woke up when I had gotten halfway through and got most of his memories back." the monkey started waving at the raven with one of his four arms before being halted by a white panther.
"Silence both of you. Gilgamesh, tomorrow night you are to return and remove all the memories of the stallion's home-world. Seraph, you are to assist him in this task seeing that you got enough of the mare's memory to prevent any coherent ones of their home from forming."
Seraph bowed her head. "Yes sir, as you wish."
Gilgamesh turned and snapped at the white feline. "And who put you in charge Vangard! We've only existed freely from those fools for no more than two days and you expect us to just listen to yo-" Vangard had pounced onto the pesky monkey and was pressing down on it's trought with it's claws extended.
"I am the most powerful of the three of us and you know that, If you EVER question me again you will find yourself unable to fight against the will of a mosquito, Do I make myself clear?" Vangard's peircing yellow eyes were drilling holes into Gilgamesh. The monkey only managed to choke a responce due to the waight on his neck.
"Y-Yes sir."
"Good, until then you two are to watch and observe your targets to monitor their strengh. Report back tomorrow."
"Sir!" both the raven and monkey melted into shadows before they left.  The panther began looking through the memories he had taken and found that he had also taken some of the colt's age allong with them. This was a very good thing for him. his target was now weaker then the others and would be easy to kill. he wouldn't even have to see how strong the colt became in the time until they could act on their plans. it would be impossibe for him to gather that much power into such a young and fragile body. Vangard turned from his position and walked a few steps toward into the Everfree before vanishing with flash of light.

The sun was beaming in through the window as Twilight awoke with a yawn.  "Huh, that was an interesting dream." she made her way downstairs to her kitchen and saw that Spike had already made breakfast. "Good Morning Spike!"
"Morning Twi! Did ya sleep well last night?"
Twilight had grabbed a glass of milk and an apple from the fridge using her magic and was heading to the table to eat. she took a bite before anwsering.
"Mmm hmm, I had this crazy dream that I met an alicorn other than Princess Celestia or Luna."
"Um... Twilight. You did meet an alicorn, it happened just yesterday."
Twilight's food fell from her grip, spilling the milk and sending her apple rolling away.  Spike walked up to her and started waving in her face. "Twi, you in there?"
Twilight stood like a statue before she snapped back to life. She ran to her desk to start on a letter. Normaly she would just have Spike do this but she wasn't thinking clearly at the moment.  She grabbed a parchment and quill and began writing with speed, and feriousity that rivaled "Equestria's Fastest Flier." When she was done she tossed the letter to Spike and had him send it to the princesses.
*___------------Canterlot: Throne Room------------___*
"The ponies in Fillydelphia still need tat important dilivery of school books your majesty, ve've been vaiting for veeks!"
"Sir, I will explain this issue once more, even with magic this request still takes time."
"But ve don't have time! The PAS's are in a couple of veeks!"
Celestia wanted to throttle the pony infront of her, which took a lot to do. He had come over with an impossible request, and then for the past fifteen days with the same complaint and refused to listen. If a good beating or time on the moon could teach common manners she would have launched him there ages ago. Unfortunatly her possition as co-ruler of Equestria made it to where she couldn't do that without causing a scandal.
"The books are still being made Graceful Voice, I told you it would take at least two months for the amount you asked for."
"Fine, But I expect them to be accurate for how long tis is taking!" and with that the digruntled stallion finally left.  Celestia sighed in relief once he was out of hearing distance.  Luna had walked in with a look of confusion and turned to her sister.
"Care to explain why I almost got run over dear sister?" Luna had stopped speaking in the royal canterlot tounge about 3 years ago to Celestia's (and the royal servants') joy. She did still slip when she got frustrated to extreame degrees.
Celestia chuckled "Oh it's nothing, just our good friend Graceful again."
"I swear, we're going to have to banish him from the castle if he keeps this up."
"As much as I want to Luna, you know I-" before Celestia could finish a scroll appeared in front of her.  At first it was like any of Twilight's letters. Having not recieved a friendship report sience about a year ago, Celestia eagerly opened the letter and began to read. Her face fell from one of joy to one of confused concern, and finally to one of utter shock. she reread the letter to make sure she wasn't fooling herself.
Dear Princess Celestia,
Two days ago a large explosion occured outside of Ponyville in the fields to the west. When me and my friends investigated we found three unconcious ponies in the center and they were rushed to the hospital. The next day they woke up and asked the doctor if he could meet us to show their thanks. They had these names that I can't describe and seemed confused by this, so we came up with new names for them. The eldest is a unicorn by the name of Charmcaster, and her pegasus brother is now named Sword Blitz. Most importantly though, the youngest, Terra, has no memory of where he is from and is an alicorn! I would be very greatful if you could come to Ponyville as soon as you can.

Celestia dropped the letter and turned to the court. "Gaurds! Cancel any more appointments and send my apologies, me and my sister will be in Ponyville for the time being."
"Yes, Your Majesty" and without question, the gaurds left out the large doors.
Luna was confused "Sister what was that about?" No sooner than she asked Celestia showed her the letter.  Luna stood in shock before she stated going into hysterics.
"Luna calm down, we can't go anywere if your panicing like a foal."
"But what dose this mean! Another alicorn! This is not possible!"
"It's probably just a mistake, for all we know this Terra is just a winged unicorn like Cadence and Twilight's friends forgot that there's a difference."
"I hope your right Celly."  Celestia and Luna vanished with in a flash of light.
*___------------?????????------------___*
Terra looked in all directions but only saw a searingly bright white void.  He didn't know how he got there or why he was there. He started to wander the void hoping to find a way out.
He stopped when he saw what resembled a photo on the ground.  He looked closer and noticed that there were three beings in the picture, one with long brown hair and two others with blonde.  He felt that he should recognize them. The one on the right was about as old as the middle one, but he was at a loss as to who it was. As he started to try harder to remember something, a rumbling could be felt and a distant roar heard.
Terra tuned around to see a wave of white water rushing towards him, resembling a large cat. He galloped as fast as his hooves could take him but the water soon caught up and engulfed him within it's maw.
*___------------Fluttershy's Cottage------------___*
Terra jumped from sleep with a ear-shattering scream. Fluttershy burst into the room at the sound and saw the panting young colt. Fluttershy grabbed him into a gentle hug, stroking his mane. "Shh shh, everything's alright. It was just a bad dream. Your okay."  Fluttershy comforted Terra as best she could until he calmed down.
"Thank you" Terra said burrowing into Fluttershy's chest.  Normaly she would freeze up from this but Fluttershy just let him continue to cuttle until a growl caught her attention.
"Sound's like somepony's hungry." Fluttershy giggled "Would you like some breakfast?"  Terra seemed to forget the nightmare he just woke from and beamed at the mention of food.  He felt like he hadn't eaten in days.
Angel was at the bottom of the stairs to his miniature house when they entered the kitchen and followed Fluttershy to the fridge, demanding why he didn't get fed last night.
"Oh, I'm sorry Angel but yesterday was very tiring and I just couldn't stay awake. Here, you can have some carrots for breakfast as an apology." Fluttershy offered the spoiled rabbit some carrots as she grabbed some daisies and apples from the fridge.  He just stared at the orange roots before grabbing them and dashing into his home.
Fluttershy took the ingredients and after cutting the apples into slices put them into two bowls, offering one to Terra.  He looked at the food before sniffing and poking it.  "What's this?"
"That's a daisy and apple salad.  Why is there something wrong with it?"  Fluttershy asked with some concern.
"No, it's fine it's just..."  Terra was aprehensive of what sat infront of him.  He took what could possiblly be called the smallest nibble in the history of the universe and immediatly enjoyed what had conspired inside his mouth.
Terra devouered the salad that Fluttershy had made.  Terra was about halfway through his when he noticed Fluttershy was trying not to laugh.  His cheeks turned from green to crimson and he gave a sheepish smile as he proceeded to eat the rest calmly. When breakfast was over they decided to go to the hospital to check on Sword Blitz.
*___------------Twilight's Library------------___*
Twilight's pacing had started to dig a rut into the floor when Celestia and Luna appeared. "Princess Celestia! Oh thank goodness your here. I-"
"Calm down Twilight. I am not going anywhere anytime soon and neither is Luna.  Now can you take us to this pony that is worring you so? I see they are not present in your library."
"Yes, right away."  Twilight walked to the door and followed by royalty, made her way to her friends cottage. About halfway there she saw Charmcaster in the town square.  She was looking at 'help wanted' ads that had been posted on the meeting board.
"Charm! Hey! Over here!" Charmcaster looked over before walking over to Twilight.
"Hi Twilight! Who are your friends?" Charmcaster asked happily.  Twilight was more than slightly shocked at this.
"YOU DON"T KNOW! The're the Princesses of Equestria! How can you not know them?"
Charmcaster was stunned by Twi's outburst to the point she was stammering when she tried to respond. "Well I... um..."
"It is alright young one." Luna interupted "There are many places where we are not know."
"Thank you Princess." Charmcaster bowed before the sisters.  Celestia giggled as Luna had the best pokerface in existance for that moment.
"I see why you dislike this." Luna wispered to her sister. "there is no need to bow. Now, would you be so kind to accompany us to meet your friends?"
"Certainly, but I need to pick up some apples for Rarity first. I just stopped to see if there were any jobs available, cause I don't want to mooch of Rarity forever. That would just be selfish of me."
"Then let's go to the market, its not far from here and on the way to Fluttershy's as well. You can get your apples and probably find a job there too." Twilight was glad that she didn't have to go out and around the town, especialy sence she was trying to get the princesses to their destinaton. "We were just headed to Fluttershy's cottage to see Terra."
"Actualy I met Fluttershy and Terra not to long ago. The're headed to the hospital to check on Sword."
Luna was about to agree to follow Twilight around some more when she realised an easier method and face hoofed. "Sister, why are we walking when we could just teleport to the hospital?"
Celestia chuckled "Because walking is nastalgic, and I don't want to give anypony in the hospital a heart attack." Twilight blushed from embarasment as she had just come to the same conclution as Luna after she had heard her long time mentor's response.
Charmcaster was trying her best not to laugh as she remembered... what again? Charm lost the desire to laugh as she tried to scan her own memory only to find bits and pieces of her past. The most she could make out was her house, the device that got her here, her relations with Sword and Terra, and her old name. "T-Twilight, I th-think seeing my b-brother just took top p-priority from getting those apples."
"Huh, but won't Rarity be upse-" Before she could finish, Twilight found her head grabbed by a very distressed unicorn.
"I need to see him NOW Twilight, no IFs ANDs or BUTs, NOW!" Twilight knew nothing of what the frightened mare infront of her could do and turned to the princesses.
"I think Luna's idea sound pretty good right now. Could you please teleport us to Ponyville hospital?"  Without further delay, Celestia and Luna teleported the four of them to the hospital entrance.
*___------------Ponyville Hospital: Room 53------------___*
Sword Blitz was throwing a ball against the wall when Fluttershy walked in along side Terra.  He lost his concentration and the ball hit him in the temple when he turned to greet them. "Ow"
Fluttershy cringed and looked very concerned. "Are you alright?"
Sword just rubbbed his head and gave a goofy grin. "Yea, I'm fine. I've been through much worse then this silly bump." He laughed for a bit before cringeing at the pain this caused his wings.
Fluttershy started lecturing Sword about moving and getting his rest. The colt in the room remained silent for most of the time. Terra had a serious tone for one his age when he finally spoke.  "Sword? When I woke up. How did you know my name?"
Swords excitement vanished and sighed mornfully "You really don't remember, do you? Well then I guess that I have to tell you what I know about you, from before we got here that is. Oh and before I forget to ask what name did you and Charm come up with for you? I was stuck in here."
"Terra"
"Thanks. Now as for your past, that in itself is an interesting topic so let's start elsewhere for now. Our home was-" As he started to begin the door bust open, scaring Fluttershy into hiding behind Terra as Charm ran to the edge of Sword Blitz's bed and started to cry into her brothers shoulder.
"Charm are you okay?" Sword was genuinely worried for her at this moment, Charm only cried like this when she was at their mother's funeral due to the strong conection she had with her. She had never shed a tear sence, until now.
Through the sobs and tears, Charm could barely make out her response. "I-I can't re-rememb-ber"
"What?"
Charm lost all self control. "I CAN"T REMEMBER ANYTHING! OUR EXPERIANCES, OUR FAMILY, NOTHING!! All I can remember *sniff* is that stupid disk, that your my brother, and Terra is our friend. Why? Why can't I remember? Please, tell me." Charmcaster broke down further after that. Sword was in a state of disbelief, First his best friend, and now his sister.  He wanted to weep along side his sister, but he knew that if he did she would only fall into dispair. She needed a life-line right now, and he planned not to let his sister fall.
Twilight and the princesses had just caught up to Charm when they saw that they might not want to come into the room at that moment. Opting to stand in the doorway instead.
"It's going to be okay Charm. We'll find a way to fix this, but for now, let me do the remembering. I'll even have somepony write down what I remember so if what is happening to us steals my memories, they will be able to be recovered. As many times as nessesary."
"Charm?" Terra had walked up to the bed during the screaming and was just as worried for Charm. "I know just how scared you are. I woke up in a strange place with only a name," Terra gave Fluttershy a thankful gaze "and somepony told me that crying made you feel better and gave you the strength to move forward, but only in you let it. Me and Sword are here for you. we're here for eachother. So cry to you hearts content."
Charm smiled at the young colt's wisdom and wrapped him in a tight hug along with her brother, sheding tears once more. "Thank you, both of you."
Celestia cleared her throut and all three turned to see the alicorns in the doorway. "If its a bad time for us to talk, then we'll be back later."
"No, no, I'm fine now." Charm wiped her eyes, and released her friend and brother. "Now you said that you wanted to speak to us?"
"Yes, but it would be best if we speak alone." Celestia motioned towards Fluttershy and Twilight. "If you don't mind my asking, could you two please leave the room? It will just be a moment."
"Not at all Princess." Fluttershy gave a quick bow before leaving.
"Please Fluttershy, just Celestia is fine." Fluttershy blushed and quickend her pace. Before she got to the door somepony tried to come in.
"Oh, Rainbow what are you doing here?"
Rainbow Dash gave smile and started to come into the room "I just decided to check on Sword here sence I had some free time."
Twilight gave her friend a sceptical look. "'Free time' that, as I recall, you usualy spend sleeping? and from the look in your eyes you desperatly need some."
Rainbow had some heavy bags under her eyes. She let out a large yawn before continuing. "I also came here cause I've been having trouble sleeping lately. I hoped the doctor could give me something to help with that."
Twilight's jaw would have hit the ground three floors below if she had Pinkie's reality defying ablilities at that moment. "Rainbow are you sure your okay? This isn't like you."
You have no idea Twi Thought Rainbow. "I'm fine Twi. Really I'm *yawn* fine."
Sword looked past the others at the rainbow mare. "You don't look fine to me, you should get some rest. There's a bed next to me that is availible for the moment."
Rainbow blushed slightly "O-okay, I'll just be over here then." She flew gracefully over Sword's bed as she got to her own.  Sword could only look at her myrid of colors as she flew. Wow, she's beutiful. No what am I thinking! My sis and friend are suffering from memory loss and I can't keep my eyes of her flank! That... gorgeous... flank... No, C'mon get your head together Sword you can think about her later. There are more Important things at hoof.
"Celestia, if I might ask. Why did you come here? Certainly royalty would have some important reason to see us of all ponies." Brash and straight forward. Celestia was starting to like this newcomer.
"Only if you tell us how you knew we're royalty when your sister didn't."
"Schme, I guessed.  Everypony did call you 'Princess'. Or, at least, the ones who noticed your here and are awake." everypony laughed as light snoring could be heard from Rainbow's bed. This was torturing Sword's mind and heart. Sweet Celestia! She sounds so peaceful over there. Infurnal curtain, why must you block my sight!
Celestia chuckled as Luna contiued for her "It was a bit obvious sister, we are alicorns after all. Now as for your question Sword Blitz, we came to look at your friend Terra here. Twilight informed us this morning that he was an alicorn and wanted to see for ourselves." Luna walked up to the colt and looked down at him. "Could you please remove your coat?"
Terra took off his overcoat and set it on the bed. Luna looked unimpressed. "Celly, he just looks like a normal pegasus to me." Celestia started to use her magic to part his mane and the search for his horn began once again. when she found it Luna gasped, her own face showing great concern. A young alicorn? After that scan for the magical properties of alicorns me and luna did three thousand years ago I was certain that we were the only ones left. Her thoughts were broken by Sword's comment on his friend.
"Heh, It's short and stubby." Sword lay snickering at his friend.
"HEY! Who are you callin' short and stubby!" Terra was glaring daggers with his wings extended as if trying to make himself bigger with little effect. It only made Sword laugh with a sad smile.
"At least one thing about you stayed the same. Only an inch long fuse on that temper of yours." A silent tear escaped his eye and rolled down his cheek. Suddenly he was encased by a golden aura and the casts on his wings fell off, landing on the floor. He turned to see Celestia with a smile on her face. "Did you just?"
"Yes, your wings are as good as new. We can talk later during a less...emotional moment. As for now I shall inform the doctor that its permitted for you to leave the hospital." Having nomore reason to stay Celestia walked out the door. Luna turned towards the room before leaving with her sister "Farewell Sword Blitz, untill we meet again."
As both princesses vanished from sight the room remained quiet. Sword was impressed by the princess' power and feared ever angering her. Still he was thankful that it didn't turn out like the last time he encountered somepony of that magical prowess. He still got shivers from the memory. This was quickly forgotten as he got out of bed and met the floor with his face. The impact was so comidicly loud that Rainbow woke up and imitated him.
"Ow" both said as they removed themselves from the floor. This caused a laugh to spread across the room from all but Fluttershy who was making sure they were okay. Twilight was helping Sword Blitz off the ground when a thought struck her.
"Um... where is Sword going to stay?" Rainbow shot up at the question
"Can he stay with me? err... I mean... to make sure his wings are alright" Why am I so nervous? The only time I was like this was during the Wonderbolts tryouts last year!
Twilight was very wierded out by Rainbow's actions of late. "I guess its okay, Sword do you have any objections?"
Sword was just as eager, if not more so then Rainbow. "No. I mean its not like I can refuse an offer like this at the moment so I might as well accept."
"Sweet! You wanna head there now?" Twilight was dumbfounded by the way her friend was acting.
"Sure! Lead the way Dashie!" Instead of getting upset, Rainbow blushed and acted as if she didn't care, cause in truth, she enjoyed it. As soon as the pegasi left the room, Charm decided that the silence was a bit too much and gave an cough to get everypony's attention.
"Well, I better get to the market, Still need to get those apples. You want to go with me Terra?"
"Sure, Can Fluttershy come with us?"
"I don't see why not, Need somepony to lead the way. I can't tell left from right in this town."
"Oh...um, its fine, but can we stop by Sugarcube Corner first I need to pick up some pastries form Pinke. That is... if you don't mind."
"Not at all, let's go!" The three left the room followed by Twilight who was still in thought "Rainbow has never acted like this before, especialy about colts. could she be...no, this is rainbow I'm talking about. The odds of her falling head over hooves the way Rarity would over a galliant prince other than Blueblood are 1 in a million." With her mind calmed Twilight joined in the conversation that started between Charm and Terra about how delicious apples were.
*___------------Rainbow's House------------___*
Sword was staring in awe at how briliant Rainbow's home was. "Is that... A rainbow waterfall?"
"Yep, took me about a week to build it." Rainbow boasted.
"That is the second coolest thing I have ever seen." Sword stated as he contiued to stare.
Rainbow took slight offence to this "Oh yea? Then what IS the coolest thing you have ever seen?"
You. Sword Blitz barely was able to keep himself from saying his thoughts as he tried to come up with something to say. He saw a competitive nature so he decided to show off. "My sword collection."
"Really? Then how many do you have? six? seven?" Rainbow started rolling around laughing. Sword only gave a smirk.
"3572 short swords, 1532 long swords, and 1374 great swords giving me a grand total of 6478 unique swords." Rainbow was now staring at him like he was a three headed cocitrace that talked. "I'd show you but I lost my... Um... Rainbow? You in there?" after knocking on her head and getting no response he started to get worried. I think I broke her. Sword decided to carry her to the stream of rainbows and splash some on her face. When he tried to get some of the rainbow from the stream she snaped back into reality.
"Stop! Don't-" before she could stop him his hoof was I the stream.  He immediately retracted it and began to franticly wave his hoof as if it had been wraped in rainbow colored fire. "Just calm down for a moment and what ever you do, keep it out of your mouth!" She turned to see that Sword had already done so and was changeing colors similar to when Pinkie ate some before he started screaming with flames coming out of his mouth.
Rainbow acted fast as she grabbed two clouds and brought them down in ten seconds. Shoving one into his mouth and wrapping the other on his hoof, the rainbows soaked into the clouds as they soothed the burning. Sword only made muffled noise before spitting the cloud out of his now rainbow free mouth. "Thank you for that. Didn't think that would happen."
"What kind of Pegasus dosn't know that you're NOT suppost to touch rainbows? Let alone eat them! Next your gonna tell me you can't fly!" Sword shifted nervously in his place trying to look anywhere but the rainbows that were surrounding him.  Rainbow caught on and immediatly regreted her choise of words. "Oh..um...sorry, I shouldn't have snapped like that.  You seemed just fine, I didn't expect that you had forgotten how to fly too.
Is that what she thinks it is? "I wouldn't be the first to forget something important" Sword's face fell to one of extream depression. I don't want to lie, but I don't think I have a choise. I'll tell her a partial truth. Its better then lying to her completely. "I just hope that I can get him to remember me."
Rainbow had remembered the hospital room the other day, and how the colt was panicing at the sight of everypony. She hated seeing him look like he did and had started to connect the dots. "Is something wrong with Terra?"
Sword motioned her to join him as he sat next to the myrid stream and gazed at their own reflections. "We were best friends, but one day Charm found this gold disk and it did something to us.  When we woke up we were in Ponyville hospital.  Terra not only can't remember us but he also turned about 10 years younger." Rainbow had not been expecting anything of the calibur that was what Sword had just told her.
"That's just... Awful." Rainbow could only stare in shock at the depressed stallion next to her.
"That and a few moments before you had gotten in to the room today, Charm ran in crying that she couldn't remember anything but Me, Terra, and that infernal disk." Rainbow Dash was at a loss at what to do.  Rainbow attempted to lighten his mood "Hey, cheer up. At least you're all alive." This helped a little, but not enough for Rainbow to accept the results. "Let's go to Sugarcube Corner, I'm possitive that you need something to eat after all that hospital food."
Growling from his stomach awnsered for him as he nodded his head. The duo walked their way to Sugarcube Corner and planned on enjoying themselves.  Rainbow had an idea about what was going to happen. Sword, However, was absolutely clueless.
*___------------Ponyville: Town Square------------___*
Charm and the others were about halfway to the famous bakery when they met up with Sword and Rainbow. "Hey guys, where ya headed?"
"Rainbow and I were just head to Sugarcube Corner. Where are you going?"
"Same, Although I didn't expect you to be hitting it off so early there Blitzy." Charm gave her brother a playful nudge, and he and Rainbow turned bright red.
"ITS NOT LIKE THAT! We're just hanging out is all!" His face was betraying him and showing his actual emotions.
Charm didn't noticed and rolled her eyes. "Whatever ya knuckle head. Let's just get there before something happens to the bakery. It'll be the end of the world with the pace we have."
*___------------Sugarcube Corner------------___*
As they approched Sugarcube Corner Fluttershy and Rainbow started to lag behind. Swords stomach bid him to move faster and reached the door first.  He opened them expecting to find food but found that all the lights were off.  "Is it after hours?" Charm asked as she walked up next to him.
The lights suddenly turned on and everypony in the room yelled "SUPRISE!"  This scared Sword to the point he jumped and found a ceiling light to hang from.  The light, however couldn't take the extra weight and the cover he was clinging on popped off sending him face first into the floor. Rainbow started laughing.
The other two jumped but not as bad as Sword did when Pinkie suddenly appeared in front of them.  "Hi! I threw this suprise party just for you! Were you suprised? Huh huh HUH?" Pinkie kept bouncing in anticipated party release due to the wait that she had to endure.
Terra looked in awe around the room and grew a large smile. "A Party! WOOHOO!" Before anyone could blink both he and Pinkie vanished into the crowd and the party began.
Sword was grumbling as he got up from the floor "This better be one hay of a party... my face hurts from her suprise"  Rainbow trotted past him. "Trust me. When Pinkie throws a party, she goes all-out."
About halfway through the party DJ-pon3, who Charm learned was actualy named Vinyl Scratch after asking for a song, started some Kareoke and had some less then stellar performances.  Vinyl saw how Sword was looking at Rainbow and got an evil idea. She grabbed him and brought him to the makeshift stage. "Can you sing well?"
Confused and hanging upside-down, Sword could only awnser. "Uh...Yes?"
"Then I need you to perform. Everypony so far has been assulting my ears and I need some good sounds to help with it."
"Okay...I'll try. But no promises." Content with his response she showed the (still) upside-down stallion what he would be singing. Not seeing any problems with the song he was let down and grabbed a mic.  Rainbow was talking with Charmcaster and both heard that a new song had started.  Curious to who was singing, Charm choked on her drink when she saw Sword on stage.
"What is he doing up there?" Charm asked between coughs.

Sword started to bob his head to the beat as he looked at the crowd. When the moment came he started to sing.

During the courus ponies had started to gather around the stage.  Rainbow was among them and was watching in joy. "dang he's good" she started to think to herself.

Everypony broke into a bouncing mess doing exactly what the song said. Terra and Charm were dancing quite poorly in the confined space. while Rainbow flew above the crowd to get a good view of Sword.

As he finished singing the crowd cheered and Vinyl nodded in approval. Sword saw that Rainbow was cheering like a madmare and the blush from all the praise grew. When the party ended, everypony went on their way. Charmcaster went back to the boutique, and Terra went with Fluttershy.  Rainbow dash tried to give Sword Blitz a rundown on flight and to her joy it was a success.  Sword could now fly for about ten minutes before passing out from exaustion.  They flew up to Rainbow's home and Sword took the couch.

Unknown to both there was a blue monkey looking up at the cloud with a expression of anguish, and a twitchy eye."First he parties all night, then he goes to live in a cloud! How a I suposed to get his memories now! Gilgamesh raged below the cloud for over an hour. When Seraph showed up he was still less then pleased.
"How do you fair? I suspect that you have aquired the memories?"
Gilgamesh whirled around drawing a blade from his arm, tip pointed at the ravens throut. "No, i haven't. It is a bit hard for a monkey to walk on clouds, let alone reach them!"
Seraph hadn't moved at all the entire time. she simply stared at him. "You know that Vangaurd will not accept failure."
The azure monkey lowered his blade and started to walk away. "Then let him get the memories, I am sick of chasing this fool. Why can't I just kill them already?"
"Because we need them alive. Gilgamesh froze in his tracks, and noticed the white panther walk infront of him. "And you are getting one more chance Gilgamesh. Fail me again and my threat will be followed through." without another word, Vangaurd vanished along with Seraph. Gilgamesh gazed at the cloud home one last time with seething hatred before disapearing into the shadows.

Employment and Magic Spells
Author's Note: Again I am procrastinating. This time, however, It is due to me FINALLY getting a PS3. InFamous, Assassin's Creed, and Little Big Planet Rock! Anyways after a while the story popped back into my brain and I promptly facepalmed at forgetting it existed. That and I started suffering from writer's block. So let's get this show on the road.
Chapter 5
Memories and Employment

Black.  All around there was nothing but this dark bluish-black. Sword started to walk forward. He was wondering what was going on when he found a small photo. He picked it up and stared at the image. It was a photo of him and the others when they were still human. He looked up to see the blackness had been filled with hundreds of photos.
As he looked from photo to photo he relived his fondest memories. Sword relished the moments that he found preserved within this void. Like when he had found his first sword in the tombs that littered his world, and defended his family from the beasts that had appered and attacked the town. He could only laugh when Charm set one on fire accidentally.
The trail ended abruptly when he got to the part when he got sent to Ponyville. The photo that would have been there was replaced by a blue ooze that seemed to form a handprint. Before he could continue his remembrance, the ooze began to move and jumped on his face, blinding him and freazing on contact. Sword tried to scream but nothing came from his lips as the slimey goo slowly covered his body.
*___------------Rainbow's house------------___*
Rainbow Dash woke up to hear mumbling from her living room.  She remembered that Sword was staying with her for the time being and almost let out a squee. Rainbow left her room to get a good look at him and see what was wrong to find nothing was amiss. She went to the kitchen and started to make breakfast for herself when she saw the time."Whoa, I got up this early and I'm NOT groggy? weird."
As she started to eat, Sword's peaceful expression turned ot one of confussion and then fear. Still asleep he started to let out small screams and sweat profusely. Rainbow noticed and tried to wake him, but his screams only got longer and he began to flail about accidentally smacking Rainbow in the jaw. Rainbow decided that being gental wouldn't work and grabed a cloud and bucket. she kicked the cloud and made it rain into the bucket before dumping its contents onto Sword.
"Gaaah!" Sword lept from the couch that he had passed out on. Rainbow was sitting next to him with a now empty bucket. "Rainbow! What the heck was that for!"
Rainbow galred at him before pointing to her clock. "For smacking me in the face with all of that flailing! Seriously what the hay man! It's 6 in the morning!"
"Sorry, I don't normaly have such vivid dreams. What exactly happened?"
"You kept tossing and turning while mumbling something about good times. I was going to just leave but then you started freaking out!"
"Again, sorry about that, dream went from a trip down 'memory lane' into 'attack of the goo monster'"
Rainbow scrunched up her face "that's...kinda gross."
Sword shuttered "Tell me about it."
"Anyways, do you want some breakfast? I just made a couple sandwiches."
Sword got off of the couch and immediatly perked up at the mention of food. "Did you say breakfast?"

Charmcaster felt like she had been run over by a train. She groggily got up and saw that her seroundings were a pure red. She looked around and saw photos lying on the ground. As she got near them they bust into flames. Charm backed away from the fire and decided to turn around and walk the other way.
Charm found what looked like a bird cage after walking for a while. The door to the cage was hanging on by one hinge. The rest of the door seemed to be melted by whatever was inside it. She ignored the cage and returned to the photos were. She found that the flames had subsided and chared remains were all that was left. One was only lightly burned and had three figures on it.
Charm went to get a better look when the ground below her began to heat up. Before she could even react, the ground burst into flames, engulfing her and burning her body. The flames began to carry her into the air, swirling into an inferno.
*___------------Carousel Boutique------------___*
Rarity woke up to hear a shriek coming from the other room.  She bolted from her bed and made way for the guest room and found Charmcaster panting heavily.  "Charm what's the matter, is something wrong?"
Charm shook her head and calmed her nerves. "I'll... be fine. I just need to sit for a moment." Rarity stared at Charmcaster before exiting the room, leaving her new friend to think. What in Celestia's mane was that! No dream is that vivid without some meaning behind it.
Charmcaster was pacing at this point, wondering what she should do. Maybe I should talk to Twilight. She seems like the inteligent type of pony, surely she would know *something** helpful.*
"Charm?" The mare in question turned around to see a tired Sweetie Belle in her doorway. "are you okay?"
"Don't worry Sweetie, I'm fine. I just had a bad dream."
"Do you wanna talk about it?" The innocence of Sweetie's question was enough to give a grown dragon a heart attack. Thankfully no male of any species was present at the time.
"Not right now. Let's head downstairs to see what we can have for breakfast."
"Okay!" Sweetie ran down stairs ahead of Charm who was begining to smell the breakfast that awaited them.
Rarity was setting plates of pancakes on the table when Sweetie hopped on the nearest chair she could get to and began eating. "Sweetie! Show some manners and wait for everypony to be seated before you start to eat."
Sweetie pouted for the minute it took Rarity and Charm to sitdown before continuing to ravange her plate. She had planned a big day with Scootaloo and Applebloom today and wasn't about to miss it. When she finished she excused herself from the table and galloped for the door. "Bye Rarity! Bye Charm!"
"Bye Sweetie!" Charm sat and ate for a while in silence before she spoke again "Rarity, Where did Sweetie run of to?"
"Oh, don't worry about Sweetie dear. She just went with her friends to see if they can find their cutie marks."
"That's nice... Anyways, I was going to head over to Twilight's today to see if she can help me remember anything. Its worth a shot seeing as she lives in a library. Theres got to be a book on psycology or something."
Rarity had finished her food and cleared up the table. "That sounds like a valid course of action. Maybe she can help Terra too." With nothing more to say, Charmcaster thanked Rarity for her hospitality and left to find Twilight.
*___------------Twilight's Library------------___*
Spike was reorganizing the library for Twilight when he heard knocking from the front door. "Coming!" Spike opened the door to find Sword Blitz and Rainbow Dash standing in the entry way. "Hey guys! what are you doing here?"
"I just need to talk to Twilight for a moment. As for Rainbow's reason to be here, I got nothin'."
Rainbow gave him a playful nudge before turning to the young dragon. "I just came to see if the new Daring Do book was here yet?"
"Well then your in luck Rainbow, the book arrived yesterday around lunch and I just finished writing it into the registery." Spike proudly anounced. Rainbow dashed to the section she had claimed as her own sence she had started reading more. Sword was confused as to why she of all ponies would like to read. to him she came off as the 'Act first, think later' type of pony.
"Huh, guess you can't judge a book by its cover" (Insert shades and 'YEEEAAAHHHHHH!')
*giggle* "That was a terrible joke." Twilight had just entered the room and was trying not to laugh. Sword blushed slightly and gave a goofy grin. Rainbow had been to engrossed in her search to notice until she found her book finally and flew to her favorite librarian.
"Hey Twilight! Just came by to grab the latest Daring Do book, although the title is a bit confusing and the cover's blank. 'Daring Do and the Mysterious Goo'? Sounds kinda wierd." Sword shuttered from the mention of goo.
"Well... normaly I read the books before I put them on the shelf, but due to the resent events I haven't had the time to. If you give me an opinion on it when you see me again I would be grateful."
"Sure thing Twi!"
Sword sat silently as the two mares chatted and had gotten what he wanted. A chance to speak. "Uh, Twilight? Could I speak with you for a moment? Its kinda important that this is done as soon as possible."
"Oh! Excuse me for a moment Rainbow." She and Sword started to walk to the other side of the library while Rainbow sat on the couch to sleep. "What is it that you wanted to talk about Sword?"
"I was wondering if you have a spell or something I can use to record my memories."
"Why would you want that when you can write it down?" Twilight asked jokingly.
Sword started to look around the room and settled with the floor for a moment before returning his gaze to Twilight "Well... I had this dream last night where all my memories were lying on the ground, I followed them untill I got to when me and the others were sent to Ponyville. That's were the trail of memories ended."
Twilight had become confused at this point. "How is that important enough to need a memory spell? It sounds like you need a psyciatrist, not me."
"That's just it though. Instead of a memory I found this blue goo and it seemed to be eating the memories inside it before it tried to eat me. What makes me want to record my memories is that I couldn't recall any that were inside the goo, and suddenly my sister can't recall any of her memories either. I'm starting to think that something is tampering with our minds."
Twilight was taken aback from his calmness of the situation he just described and stared at him for a few minutes before she could respond. "Well there are some books on mental health and spells here, but I'll need to find them first. Shouldn't take me too long so come back around 5 this afternoon and I should have anything we need ready."
Sword grabbed her into a bone crushing hug for a minute stunning the unicorn. "Thank you Twilight. That's all I could ask for." Sword turned to leave and saw Rainbow drooling on the couch. "Twilight? Do you have a bucket I could borrow by chance?"
"Um.. Yes, but what would you need it for?"
He had a evil grin plastered on his face. "Just some payback for my wakeup call this morning and the hoof buzzer in my sandwitch."
*___------------Ponyville Market------------___*
Charmcaster was making her way to the library. She took a glance at the billboard in the town square and stopped to look. "I was needing a job anyways. Maybe this time I'll find something." As she was looking at the Help Wanted ads, a dust cloud had started to barrel down the road. Directly at her.
"Watch Out!"
"Hu-umph!" Dust flew everywhere as a filly-powered scooter crashed into Charm. sending her and the three passengers into a heap on the ground. The driver groaned and looked up before realising she was on somepony's head.
"Sorry for landing on you Charm. I wasn't paying attention to the road and my brakes broke."
"Ya really should pay more attention ta where yer goin' Scoots" Applebloom picked herself up and was helping Sweetie Belle from the upturned wagon. She tried to walk but had to sit after two steps.
"Why is the world spinning?"
Charm was chuckling at the three of them. "It's okay girls, just could you tell me what the rush is?
Scootaloo was the first to respond "Oh yeah, we were actually looking for you!"
"Really? Ah thought we was lookin fer Terra?" Scootaloo gave Applebloom a quick jab in the ribs. "What was that for Scoots?"
Scootaloo hissed at her friend "Shush, this is a really good chance at some info on Terra." She then gave the most innocent grin a plotting filly could. "Anyways, we were wondering if you could tell us anything about you, Terra, and Sword."
Charm had grown genuine curiousity to what was going through the filly's brain. "And what would you like to know?"
"Where did you live before you came to Ponyville?"
Charm's happy smile faded, leaving only sadness. "I... I'm sorry girls, but that is something you'll have to ask my brother."
Sweetie trotted up to Charm "is this about this morning? Cause if it is, you don't have to tell us."
Charm smiled as best as she could at the three in front of her. "Thank you"
"Just outta curiousity, but what were ya doin' before we err... Interupted ya" Applebloom asked.
"I was looking for a job, I don't want to live off of Rarity's hospitality forever."
Applebloom ears perked up "We have been needin' a helpin' hoof at Sweet Apple Acres. Ah can put a good word in for ya and ah doubt that AJ will say no ta that!" Charm was very thankful to the three of them and they said their good-byes before Charm went to the market in search of Applejack cause she had no idea where the farm was, while the CMC began looking for Sword Blitz and Terra.
*___------------Sweet Apple Acres------------___*
Big Mac was pulling a wagon load of apples from the orchard when he noticed his sister coming from town. "Everythin' alright?"
"Just ran out of apples is all. I came to grab some more before it gets to late."
Applejack had just gotten some apples loaded into the cart for the market when Granny Smith shakily trotted up. "Applejack, ah need yer help for a moment, the oven's givin' me trouble again. Big Mac take care of the stall fer a while."
"Eeeup" Big Mac then hitched himself up to the cart and left without saying anything more.
*___------------Fluttershy's Cottage------------___*
Terra was helping Fluttershy with feeding the chickens. He was having fun until the chickens started to swarm him for the seeds. He even picked up a stick and stated to swing it like a sword which only made the chickens madder. "Stay back you clucking feinds! Back I say!" The chickens soon overpowered the poor colt.
Fluttershy turned from tending to the head hen's broken wing and saw Terra getting mobbed by the chickens. She finished wrapping the bandage and carried her patiant to the pen where she quickly shoo'd the pesky hens away. "Are you okay?"
Terra sat indignantly, sourly glaring at the chicken coup. "Chickens are mean."
Fluttershy started to giggle when three fillies ran up to her and Terra. Terra noticed first and notified Fluttershy "Oh, hi girls."
"Hi Fluttershy! Can we talk to Terra?"
"I guess... Its really up to him."
Terra got up and walked up to her "Its okay. I kinda have been wanting to talk to them too."
Fluttershy stayed to finish taking care of the animals while the four of them walked to the feild behind the cottage. Sitting in a circle with Terra across from Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle to his right, they remained silent before Terra spoke up.
"So... What did you want to talk to me about?"
"Well, we just want to know a little more about you."
"Ya mean you want ta know more 'bout em."
Terra looked between the bickering fillies before turning to the last one. "I've been meaning to ask... What are the Cutie Mark Crusaders? They seem a little preocupied to tell me."
Sweetie started to explain what the CMC was while her friends' arguing escalated "The Cutie Mark Crusaders is a little group me and the others started a while ago. We go crusading around Ponyville while looking for our Cutie Marks."
"What's a Cutie Mark?"
Sweetie let out a huge gasp that would have made Pinkie proud "YOU DON"T KNOW WHAT A CUTIE MARK IS!?" Applebloom and Scootaloo stoped their debate just long enough to hear her outburst.
"Uh... No?"
"How could ya not know what a cutie mark is?" Applebloom asked in shock.
"I did suffer form memory loss not to long ago."
"Oh yeah... Fergot 'bout that. Well, a cutie appears on a pony's flank when they discover their special talent."
"You mean like the butterflies on Fluttershy?"
"Exactly." Scootaloo took over for her friend.
"Do you girls have any idea what yours could be?"
The tree of them shuffled around looking anywhere but eachother and Terra. "Well, erm...no we don't."
Terra realised his mistake and thought of a way he could recover the situation, cause the sight was hurting his heart. For reasons he didn't know, Scootaloo more than the others. "Well... I don't have a cutie mark. Can I join the CMC and help you find yours?"
Scootaloo's ears shot up. "That's a great idea! Maybe an opinion from somepony else is just what we need."
"Yeah, let's head to the library for some books first though. Your scooter's taken a bit of a thrashin' Scoots.
Scoots looked over to her scooter and realised Applebloom was right. The handlebar was bent, the brakes were shot, and the rear axel was cracked. "Yeah, I probably should just carry it for now."
Terra went over to Fluttershy and told her where he was going. She was reluctant but gave in to Terra's puppy dog eyes. "Okay Terra you can go but you listen to Twilight while your there."
"Okay! Bye Fluttershy!" Terra ran to join his now fellow crusaders and they started the treck to town. Scootaloo laging behind and eyeing up Terra. Your secrets *shall** be revealed to me Terra, or my name isn't Scootaloo!* she thought to herself as they galloped towards the library.
*___------------Ponyville Market------------___*
Charm was walking around trying to find the Apple family's cart or at least an apple family member. She walked up to a mint green unicorn nearby who was sitting in a rather strange position, drinking a smoothie.
"Excuse me, do you know where Applejack is?"
The mare turned to look at her before setting the drink down.  "I think she went to get more apples. My name's Lyra by the way."
"Charmcaster, and its a pleasure meeting you."
"You too! Want a seat? Its gonna be a bit before she gets back."
"Thanks." The two of them sat in silence for a while before Lyra decided that it was to boring to continue it.
"So your one of the new ponies in town?"
Charm scratched the back of her head "Yeah, still getting settled in. I heard that Sweet Apple Acres was needing some help and was wondering if I could get a job there."
"A job?"
"Yep, I need some bits so I can stop mooching off Rarity."
Lyra crossed her front hooves defensively "There is nothing wrong with mooching. I can't keep inventing if I have an idea during some stuffy job"
"Is that so?" Lyra's head shot up and the blood drained from her face. she sat frozen in place as the earth pony that had joined in the conversation sat down next to her.
"Hello, I'm Bon Bon."
"Charmcaster."
"I'm safe to assume that your one of the new ponies?"
*giggle* "Yes, I am."
"Well its nice to that your work ethic is better than somepony's"
Lyra quickly hid her smoothie and let out a nervous chuckle "Hi Bon Bon, I was just buying some apples like you wanted me to. Just apples, nothing else."
"O' really? Than what is behind you? *gasp* It looks like one of those things that your obsessed about!"
"WHERE!?" Lyra spun around to find nothing. When she turned back around Bon Bon was drinking her smoothie. "Hey that's mine!"
"Not when you buy it with my money its not." Bon Bon laughed as she ran away while being chased by Lyra. Charm just sat in place as she laughed at scene that the two of them caused. She sat for a couple more minutes before she could smell the fragrence of applepie. She looked around for the applecart she desired. She found the cart easy, but instead of AJ there stood a big red stallion with a green apple on his flank. Charm couldn't look away as she trotted up to the massive worker.
"Hi, Do you know Applebloom?"
The stallion sighed "What did my lil' sis do now?"
"Um... actually she said that you guys were needing help at Sweet Apple Acres, and I kinda need a job."
"Ya want a job?"
He looked her over with a scrutinizing eye. "Well ah don't think ya could do much with applebuckin', but ya might be able ta help Granny Smith with the bakin' and cleanin'." He stopped and saw that she had a noticeable blush. "Ya alright there?"
Charm snapped to attention "I'm fine! its just that I... Don't really know your name yet. Yeah that's it, your name."
He grined at her "It's Big Mac. Now anyways, I need ta stay and watch the cart so yer free ta stay with me till a need ta head back, or ya can go ta the farm right now. Yer choise."
As much as I want to stay "I'll go to the farm, but before I do could you give me some directions? I still can't find my way around."
"Sweet Apple Acres is just down that way. When you reach the library hang a left and keep walkin' forward. you'll be there 'n no time."
Charm Thanked Big Mac and started trotting to the farm. She couldn't help but think that a big stallion like him had to be popular with the mares. On the way she overheard some of the other mares around town's gossip.
"Did you see that?"
"That's the most he's ever spoken!"
"Who is that?"
"What dose she have that I don't?"
Charm started to move faster with every thing she heard. Big Mac was apperantly more popular than she thought. She was starting to get irritated with what was being said.
"Why would he talk to her?"
"She didn't even buy anything, what were they talking about?"
"Isn't she that new pony?"
Charm broke into a full gallop. She couldn't stand hearing the gossip and didn't even know why. All she knew was that she hated it.
*___------------Twilight's Library------------___*
Twilight had finished her preperations for Swords request early and was waiting for him to return. It just so happened that she already had what she needed. Five blank scrolls, 10 ink wells, and a single glass orb that had been sitting in her closet for who knows how long. She just needed to draw a diagram on a sixth parchment and then she could begin. She would need Sword present when she drew it though. She had let Spike go help Rarity find more jewels and gems for her dresses so he would be gone until 5:30. Her clock said it was 3:46. She sat down to read when Scootaloo burst down the door, soon followed by her friends and Terra. "Oh, hi girls, and hello to you too Terra."
"Hi Twilight"
Terra was slightly nervous now that he new that Twilight was here "Um... Hi."
Applebloom looked around the room. "Hey Twilight? Where's Spike?"
"He's helping Rarity at the moment. He won't be back for a while." Applebloom huffed, she was hoping he would be here. Terra sighed in relief.  "So, what crazy adventure brought you here today?"
"Do you have any books on fixing scooters?" Terra asked.
"Yes, just a moment though. I have to find it." Twilight started to sort through the piles that littered the library. After a couple minutes she let out a sigh. "Uh... I'm gonna need some help."
"Can we help Twilight? I promise it will go better than last time!" Sweetie pleaded
Terra cocked an eyebrow "What happened last time."
Applebloom blushed and looked away "Ya don't want ta know." with nothing more to say all five ponies began to hunt for the elusive repair manual that Spike would have found in an instant.
*___------------Sweet Apple Acres------------___*
Charm reached Sweet Apple Acres panting heavily. She walked up to the front door of the home and regained her composure before knocking on the door. She was greeted by a elderly mare who was well into her years. "Hello there missy, what can I do fer ya?"
"Is Applejack here?"
"She sure as sugar is. Just wait here and I'll get er for ya." She turned towards the inside of the house and let out a rather loud yell. "APPLEJACK! SOMEPONY'S HERE FOR YA!"
AJ could be heard from inside somewhere. "One moment!" Applejack trotted to the front door covered in flour. "Hey there Charm! How's it goin'?"
"Its going great! I was wondering though, if I could get a job."
"Ya been in ponyville less than a week and think we need help? Alright who spilled the beans?"
"Applebloom, but Big Mac did say I could help in the kitchen when I asked him."
"Well I can tell ya ain't lyin' so ah guess it be fine. Granny!"
Granny who had fallen asleep standing woke up at the call of her name. "Yes Applejack dear?"
"Charm here will be helpin ya with the bakin' so ah'll be out buckin' the trees!"
"Alrighty then, come on Chime let's git ta bakin'!"
Charm just stared awkwardly at Granny. "Um.. Its 'Charm' not chime."
"I can't dot the time! Now git in here an' help me with makin' some pies. Twilight ordered some a while ago."
Charm sighed before entering the house. "This is going to be interesting"
To Charm's suprise the making of the apple treats went without a hitch. She had made 4 pies and 5 pans of apple tarts with all of them looking perfect. She was sent to give the orders that were placed and started pulling her cart into ponyville. Before she left however she grabbed a map to help her find some of the homes.
*___------------Rainbow's House------------___*
Sword was at the door ready to go. Rainbow Dash asked if it was okay for her to go with him during the casting of the spell and he said it was perfectly fine. He went to get some stuff ready for when he got back and Rainbow went to read her book. That was two hours ago. "Rainbow! What's taking you so long?" Silence was his only responce.
Sword was getting annoyed from waiting. He decided to go see what the hold up was and found her door slightly ajar. He tried to knock but the cloud absorbed the impact. He then just pushed the door open. "Rainbow Dash?"
When he entered he saw her on the bed with a noticably large blush reading the book, her wings spread out at full length. She saw him and quickly shut the book before stuffing it under her pillow. "Sword! Haven't you heard of knocking!"
"Kinda hard to knock on cloud."
Rainbow facehooved before she got up, shoved him out of the room, and closed the door behind her before dragging him to the living room. "Now what is so important?" Sword just pointed at the clock that read 4:57. When she saw the time her wings and anger fell, so panic could take their place. "Buck! We're almost late!" Without another word they bolted out the door. Rainbow turned back around for a moment to lock it before catching up to Sword.
*___------------Twilight's Library------------___*

Terra burst forth from the final pile of books that had yet to be searched with a rolled up paperback book "I found it!"
Scootaloo putdown the book from her side of the library "Finally, we've been searching for hours!" Soon after she grabbed the paper from him, knocking came from the front door.
"Come in!" Twilight yelled before she opened the door with her magic. Charmcaster walked in soon after, leaving the cart to sit outside.
"Hey Twilight, you ordered some of the Apple family's most delectible pie?"
Twilight levitated the pies and tarts from the cart into her fridge while talking to Charm. "I did but, when did you start working on Sweet Apple Acres?"
"Just a couple of hours ago. Applebloom said they needed help and they accepted mine."
"That's great! But it looks like you have some more deliveries to do."
"Actually I just finished. A bunch of ponies canceled their orders so I got extra." Twilight and Charm chatted while the CMC went on cleaning. Terra was just using his hooves and kept getting glances from the others.
"What are you girls staring at me for?"
"Well you have a horn don't you?" Sweetie asked.
"Yeah, so what?" Terra unfazed by her question.
"Why don't you use you magic to levitate the books? Like this." Sweetie demenstrated on some books behind her.
Terra stared at the floating books as a silky white aura serounded them. "Um... I'm not really sure how."
"I can help you try if you want." she offered.
"Please, that would help doing this so much." Terra begged
"Well I just got the hang of it about a year ago. I can try to teach what I know." After a basic rundown of how it feels to use magic Terra closed his eyes and tried on some books sitting next to Sweetie Belle. A green aura covered the book and it started to hover a bit off the ground. Terra opened one eye and saw his success. His joy was short lived when the book launched towards him.
Outside, Charm and Twilight's conversation was interupted by screaming. "Gah! Papercut!" Twilight went inside to see who got hurt. Charmcaster followed before she stopped at the sound of Sword laughing behind her.
"Haaaa hahahaha. It sounds... like his luck... hasn't changed at aaaall. HAHAHAHA" Sword was rolling on the ground hugging is sides. Rainbow landed next to him with a confused look.
"What's so funny?" Charm shrugged and Sword finally stopped laughing, wiping a tear from his eye.
"Its nothing Rainbow, I'm pretty sure you'll find out soon though."
When they entered the library Twilight was putting a bandage on Terra's ear. The library was being organized due to Twilight's magic and amazing ability to multi-task. She looked up and saw Charm and the others had come in. "When did you get here Sword?"
"Less than a minute ago."
Sword walked up to Twilight and Ranbow went to the Daring Do books again. Seriously, What is with her and that book series? I'll read some of it later, probably the one under her pillow. He turned his attention back to Twilight who was talking to him. "Well I got the spell ready to go. I just need you to help me with the last detail."
Crap, I need to stop zoning out so much "Okay, so uh... what do I do?"
Twilight pulled out a blank parchment and quill. "I just need you to draw something on this paper that is related to a specific memory. Be sure its something simple so you can remember which one it is."
Sword sat and thought for a moment before he got an idea. He grabbed the quill and drew a large circle with a six pointed flower in the center. "Will this do?"
"That looks kinda simple to represent a memory. What dose it stand for?"
"This very conversation." Sword grined devilishly. Twilight sat confused by his statement before it clicked in her head.
"You did that just to mess with me didn't you?"
"Mea bea"
Twilight and Sword laughed for a minute before "Just stand over there while I get the spell ready." Sword did as she instructed and moved to the center of the library. Rainbow Dash had stopped looking at books and started watching Twilight do her thing. Charm sat next to her and the CMC sat on her couch trying to understand the manual.
Twilight levitated the ink wells into a circle around Sword and the paper into a neat pile infront of him with his drawing on top. Finally the glass orb was placed on top of the papers and she began casting the spell. Light started emitting from her horn and the orb began drawing ink from the wells. the ink filled the orb with a soft blue and it began to move over the paper. "Hey Twilight, I think it's working!" Twilight Ignored him and focused on the spell. A tendril of light flowed from the orb and touched Sword's head. The orb once in contact began to roll on the paper and bleed ink into indeciferable squiggles. Rainbow was watching the whole time and was staring in awe.
That was... until a book flew from a shelf into the orb.
Twilight screamed as the impact affected her mind, causing her servere pain. The orb turned from soothing blue to a hainous black and sent out five more tendrils. Sword was trying to get away from the one on his head, but the tendril was wrapping around him and forming a sphere. A sphere had wrapped around Twilight as well.
Rainbow shot from her seat to help when she was caught too. Sword saw that Terra, Charm, and the CMC were sitting in fear with the tendrils heading straight for them. "Everypony! RUN!"
Terra ran but was snagged by his hoof and dragged into his prison screaming. Charm tried to dodge but got slammed into a wall before getting captured.
One tendril remained and seemed to be having trouble picking a target. Scootaloo started to back away with her friends when another book zoomed by her head barely missing her. The magical tendril 'saw' she was distracted and grabbed her by the neck. She tried to scream as she was trapped withing a magical ball.
Applebloom was looking from pony to pony. "Don't worry we're gonna get some help!" She and Sweetie ran outside towards townsquare when they found Big Mac walking up to them.
Big Mac saw the fear they were in and his normaly stone demenor fell "Girls what's wrong?"
Sweetie was babbleing incohearent nonsence. The most he could make out was... "Twilight, Spell, Trapped, NEED HELP NOW!"
Applebloom was clearer with her panic "Twilight was doin' somethin' with Sword but the spell went wrong and now everypony is trapped in these magic ball thingies!" Soon all three were charging for the library.
However, inside the library the others were beginning to move around, or at least the bubbles were. Sword was wondering what was happening when his bubble merged with Dash's, forming a darker shade of black. They got into more comfertable positions before talking "Um.. Hi?"
"Sword what is going on!" Dash was panicing more than she was talking..
"I would tell you if I knew." Sword looked out and saw that Terra's and Scootaloo's had also merged. "I think we're getting put into groups."
Rainbow looked out to see Charm and Twilight in a single bubble. Big Mac kicked in the door around then and saw the three floating bubbles before him. Charm tried to call for help but suddenly fell uncontious. Twilight tried to wake her but she went soon after. Terra was trying to wake Scootaloo as he fell as well. Sword was watching from his bubble screaming when Rainbow began to wobble. "Sword, I'm not feeling so good." Sword soon was hit with a wave of nausia and slumped down in the sphere. Rainbow collapsed on top of him as they drifted from reality.
Big Mac was trying to buck the bubbles but they felt like they were made of steel. He stopped trying and was panting heavily. "Girls, ah need ya ta get yer sisters. They probably know of a way ta help that I don't."
About twenty minutes later they came back with Applejack and Rarity in tow. Spike also came when he heard Twilight was in trouble. They saw their friends floating in the bubbles. "What in tarnation!"
"Ah don't know what happened sis, but I can't do anythin' ta get 'em out."
"Did ya try buckin' that there ball in the middle?"
Big Mac shook his head in defeat. "I got nothin' but a blast into the wall just gettin' near it."
Rarity was at a loss until she saw Spike. "Spike, could you be a dear and send a letter to the princess? Surely she would know how to help."
"Sure thing Rarity" Spike quickly wrote a letter to Celestia and sent it immediately after he finished. He turned to the bubble with Twilight and Charm. "Please be alright Twi."
Applebloom sat next to him and was looking at Scootaloo and Terra. "Are they gonna be okay sis?"
Applejack looked down at her sister before looking at Rarity who was comforting Sweetie Belle. "Ah don't know sis, I just don't know." It was all she could say before she followed Rarity's lead and embraced her sister in a comforting hug.
