Chapter 1: Let It Go
It was a cloudy day in Ponyville. Not much was going on either, but one pony was determined to have a good day. Her name was Octavia Melody. Octavia had a big day ahead of her, and she also believes this just might be the greatest day of her life.
"AAAhhhh," yawned Octavia, getting up from bed. "Its going to be a pleasant day," said Octavia cheerfully.
Octavia went downstairs to the kitchen to hopefully eat a nice balanced breakfast, but can't seem to find anything good to eat. She then hears some footsteps coming from the stairs.
"Hey, are you looking for something to eat?" asked Vinyl Scratch, Who just came down from the stairs.
"Yes, but unfortunately i can't find anything good," said Octavia, with a disappointing look.
"I know, how about we just go out to eat, my treat?" asked Vinyl, enthusiastically.
"Its okay, I'm fine i will go without for now," said Octavia, in a depressed fashion.
"Are you sure, because I won't mind buying you breakfast?" asked Vinyl, with a caring look.
"Yes I'm sure, I got an early morning concert to play at," said Octavia, walking out the door.
As Octavia was walking through Ponyville, her stomach ached more, but she knew she had to make it to at least lunch. It was 9:45am, and Octavia could see Amethyst Star protesting again at Twilight's castle.
"SHE TOOK MY JOB!" shouted Amethyst Star, waving a sign that read the same thing.
Octavia just gave sigh as she was heading to the theater. Once Octavia arrived to the theater, it was 9:55am. Octavia got a little worried about that, because she was 5 minutes late! Octavia rushed to set up her cello, and prepare. She was playing music for the Pony Tones to sing from for the concert. Luckily, Octavia set up very quick, so quick it made up for all the lost time. Octavia met up with the members of the Pony Tones, to go over the song really quick before the concert. Once they were done, the curtains spread open, and then they started the show. Midway in the concert, Octavia was really enjoying her performance, thinking how this could be her greatest performance yet. Then, while she was playing, BINCK! One of the strings on her cello snapped.
"What happened?" asked Rarity, in a loud tone, glancing at the cello.
"BLAST! One of the strings broke!" shouted Octavia, with a frustrated tone.
"Sorry every pony, the concert is canceled," Rarity told the audience.
Octavia was embarrassed by the accident, and she packed up to go home. When she was on her way home, she saw Amethyst Star getting escorted away by guards. That made Octavia smile a little. Octavia was still very hungry, and couldn't wait to hopefully get something to eat. When she finally arrived home Vinyl was cooking something.
'Mmmm, what smells good," asked Octavia
"PIZZA!" shouted vinyl, taking the pizza out of the oven.
"Aww thanks, you sure are a friend," said Octavia, smiling warmly to Vinyl.
"Well, it was supposed to be for me and Lyra, but if you want some go ahead," said Vinyl, fishing plates out of the cabinets.
"OK then," said Octavia, in a depressed tone.
Octavia got her pizza then went upstairs to her room to eat in private. She really enjoyed the pizza though, it was a veggie pizza, which is her favorite. She could hear Lyra come through the door downstairs, Octavia got a little upset, because she wanted to talk to Vinyl about the incident at the concert. Octavia Started to cry in her pillow.
"Today has been stressful," said Octavia, softly.
It was 11:59am, and Octavia stopped crying. She felt a chill, so she laid down in her bed, and put the covers over her, but it was getting even colder. She rolled over to face the other side, only to find Queen Elsa was standing next to the bed. Octavia quickly jumped up, sat on the bed facing Elsa.
"Hello," said Elsa. calmly.
"Who are you?" asked Octavia, with a confused face.
"I'm Queen Elsa," said Elsa, proudly.
"I've never heard of you," said Octavia, still confused.
"Well I'm here to help you," said Elsa, in a caring tone.
"Listen, I'm sure you're a nice pony, or whatever you are, but you need to leave," said Octavia, giving Elsa a stern look.
I'm not leaving, because I'm here to teach you a valuable lesson on letting things go," said Elsa, giving Octavia a stern look.
"Why do i need a lesson like that?" asked Octavia, Octavia gave Elsa a questioning look.
Queen Elsa had Octavia come down stairs with her to exit the house. While they were on their way out Lyra, and Vinyl were very confused about who was with Octavia. Elsa led Octavia to the Everfree Forest. Its time for Elsa to show Octavia what it means to let things go.
"Wha-what are we doing here, I hate this place," asked Octavia, who was shaking in fear.
"Don't worry, we'll be on our way soon," said Elsa, trying to reassure Octavia.
"Now watch," said Elsa.
Elsa begins to show Octavia how she lets things go, by shooting ice, snow from her hands.
"Watch this," said Elsa.
Elsa rolls her wrists around then, ice shot from her hands to a tree. Elsa continues to shoot ice at the tree, BOOM! The tree exploded, and chunks of it are scattered everywhere.
"WOW!" said Octavia, in amazement.
"So, how do you relieve stress, or let things go?" asked Elsa, with a questioning look.
"I just play my cello, and that usually does the trick," said Octavia, giving Elsa a smile.
"Well let me take you back home," said Elsa, guiding Octavia on a trail out of the forest.
"Thank you," said Octavia, in a relieved voice.
Chapter 3: Recipe For Disaster
"This way come on!" shouted Octavia, gesturing to Elsa.
"Would you look at that?" said Elsa, staring at the castle in amazement.
"There's the doorway, we need to be quick," said Octavia.
"I'm right behind you," said Elsa, still looking at the castle.
As they approach the castle a guard spots Octavia and Elsa, and has them stop.
"No one passes unless you are invited in," the guard said sternly.
"But we need to see Twilight!" said Octavia.
"Were you invited?" asked the guard.
"I don't need an invite I'm Queen Elsa, an I demand access" she said to the guard.
"so what, you still weren't invited!" said the guard , putting his hoof in front of Elsa.
Elsa got really mad, and she clenched her fists so tight the a blue magical aura shined from. Then she released her her hands out a t the guard.
"WHAT DID YOU DO!" shouted Octavia, scared.
"i did nothing wrong, he approached me, and I froze him solid to a point to where he can't be melted easily, and I think hes dead, but oh well" said Elsa, smiling.
They head into the castle finding their way to Twilight, and none of the other guards have bothered to stop them, because they think they were invited. They find Twilight in a huge room with 5 other ponies.
"Hey girls," said Octavia
"Hi Oct..., WHO ARE YOU!" said Twilight, starting to point at Elsa.
"I'm Queen Elsa, and I require your help," said Elsa
"What are you queen of?" asked Twilight.
"I'm Queen of the Scandinavian Kingdom," said Elsa.
"Scandinavian Kingdom?" asked Twilight.
"You heard me," said Elsa, looking at Twilight implying she understands.
Suddenly there was a loud BANG! The front doors of the castle flew open. It was Lyra, and Vinyl running into the castle!
"GET AWAY FROM HER!" shouted Lyra, putting her hoof in front of Octavia.
"ya'll going to tell me whats goin on!" shouted Apple Jack
"I want to know as well," said Twilight, giving Elsa a stern look.
"I just wanted help," said Elsa starting to cry.
"What jerks, she got me to help her not to hurt me!" shouted Octavia, angrily.
"Well what do you need help with?" asked Rainbow Dash.
"Discord brought me to this terrible dimension, and i want to go home," said Elsa.
"Well Discord is supposed to meet me at my cottage at 5:27pm," said Fluttershy
"What time is it now darling?" asked Rarity.
"Oh, I got to go its 5:15pm, you can come if you want Elsa," said Fluttershy.
"We will all go!" shouted Twilight.
"Not me, I got found out what was going so I'm good," said Lyra, heading for the door.
"Same," said Vinyl, following Lyra.
"Well then, to Fluttershy's cottage!" shouted Twilight.
They left the castle in hopes of finding Discord at Fluttershy's cottage, but what if Discord don't like that? Just read on!
"Here we are, home sweet home," said Fluttershy.
Everyone waited inside of Fluttershy's cottage for Discord, Discord thinks hes meeting for Tuesday tea, but that's not the case.
"Hello, Fluttershy I'm here," said Discord, knocking on the door.
"Come in," said Fluttershy
"What are all you ponies doing here?" said Discord, looking around the room. "What are you doing here?" asked Discord, pointing at Elsa angrily.
"I'm here, because of you!" shouted Elsa.
"How dare you shout at me, your punishment death," said Discord, with an evil grin.
"Wait wait, what about a duel?" said Elsa.
"No! Don't duel him he'll kill you, Discord I'll sacrifice myself for Elsa's freedom," said Octavia
"Hmm, no I was kidding about that punishment," said Discord, laughing.
"WHAT!" shouted Pinky Pie.
"Wait, why did you bring me to this dimension?" asked Elsa, clenching her fists.
"It was an experiment, nothing more I just wanted to see how you would react that's all, and don't worry I'll send you back unharmed," said Discord.
"Really?" asked Elsa, opening her fists.
"Sure, besides I got other creatures I've been experimenting with just like you, goodbye Elsa," said Discord, as he snapped his fingers and sent her away.
Discord went ahead, and left the cottage since he thought thought the Tuesday tea was nothing more than a set up.
"Now we no there's more out there," said Octavia.
"yes, and we'll head back to the castle, if you find another creature come to us," said Twilight.
"got it!" said Octavia.
Octavia headed to her house to go eat dinner, and go to sleep, ad ask Vinyl why she bailed.
