Anon wiped his sweat from his brow as he headed to the barn after another hard day's work in the fields of Sweet Apple Acres. Anon had been in Equestria for a few months now, and his first few days in the world of talking ponies was rough, and rather hard to get use to at first. Eventually the initial shock from being in a new world had worn off, and they focused on trying to get him home, but... they never could make any ground on it.
Day by day went by, and hope for going home had quickly begun to fade, while depression set in. So, to help him take his mind off it, Applejack offered to let him work with her and her family at the farm. He even moved in with them, and the extra work helped take his mind off from being homesick, but only a little. Soon the pain of being away from home began creeping back to him, that was until he started growing close to AJ’s big brother, Big Macintosh.
At first Big Mac wouldn’t talk to him much other than to tell him what needed to be done around the farm. Yet after a while they began to carry longer conversations either during or after they had finished working. While today, unknown to him. things would be a little different for Anon.
After finishing his daily duties around the farm, a bit earlier then he had expected to, Anon decided to head back to the barn to relax a bit and put away his tools. Once inside he put his tools away stretched feeling several things pop, before sighing in relief and sliding down onto the bark floor beside some crates.
“Wait a minute...” He said looking over to crates, “How long have these been here?” He asked himself as he looked over them curiously.
He opened one of the crates to investigate, and found that they held nothing but bottles of Hard Apple Cider. He didn’t think they would have any, seeing as they had told him they only make it one week a year, and they never had any left over.
So seeing a few crates of the stuff made him question why they lied to him, and how he had never noticed them before.
“Looks like ya’ found mah stash.” Said a deep baritone voice that seemed to sneak up on Anon.
The human jumped almost knocking over the crate over, “Jesus Mac! Don’t so that! It's hard to believe a big stallion like you is able sneak up on folks” Anon said in a slightly angry tone, but also a bit of embarrassment from his reaction.
Big Mac could only chuckle at the reaction, “Sorry ther’ Anon.”
Even if they only knew each other for a few months Anon knows that he wasn’t sorry for scaring him. Seeing as he had done it more than a few times, and it had been rather obvious. Yet it had always been in a playful manner which they both always laughed at later.
Big Mac looked between the crate and Anon before clearing his throat. “Ye know, ah am done with my work fer the day and the cider should still be pretty cool. Wanna crack one or two open?” He offered.
Anon thought for a moment replying with a small smile. “Sounds like the perfect plan.”
Moments later two have a few bottles of Hard Cider with them before settling down next to a soft bale of hay and cracking them open.

Anon drunkenly chuckled to himself as he noticed Big Mac had a hard time sitting straight. Between the two of them they had had about twenty or so bottles of the world famous Hard Apple Cider, and at this point were just a few sips away from being totally wasted. Anon watched in amusement the balancing act of Big Mac trying to perform the simple act of standing up. It was rather entertaining for him, up until the large stallion had fallen back onto his lap.
“Oof!” Anon gasp as he felt the weight of the stallion land on him, “Mac? you alright?” Anon asked him in slurred speech, but only response he got from the drunk pony was a faint snoring.
“Come on Mac, get off me!” Anon said while he tried pushing the large stallion off his lap, but he was too heavy for him to move.
After a few moments, he quickly gave up and accepted his fate of having to wait for the stallion to wake up of his own accord. Though thanks to the effect of the drinks his mind wondered off to find something new to entertain itself with.
As Anon lay there on the pile of hay he looked over to the sleeping stallion who’s back leg twitched and he let out a drunken whimper. “You’re like a big dog”
He smiled began to move his hand over to Mac’s furry belly as slowly began rubbing it, causing Big Mac to wag his tail in response. Anon then spoke up, “Mac, you do know that I’m a male, are you ok with that?”

Anon took his right arm and put it around Big Mac’s neck and said, “I guess, well it’s not like I object the idea of being with another man, or a giant red talking stallion in this case”

Or at least he hopped so, but that a problem for a later time, because the big concern right now was a petrified Applejack by the barn doors. Who was staring at them with a blank expression on her face.
Before Anon could say anything Applejack tilted her hat down to cover her eyes and hide her blush, “Ya’ll two can explain after you’re both cleaned up.” She told before backing out and bucking the barn door closed.

Anon gives Big Mac a hug and says, “I’ll forgive you Big Mac” He then whispered into Big Mac’s ear, “If we’ll have dinner this friday.”
