Green for owl, Purple for pony. GLOSSARY CHAW- A small team of owls with a specific set of skills. The chaws at the Great Tree are navigation, search and rescue, weather, interpretation, colliering, tracking, Ga'Hoolology and metals. COLLIER- Carrier of coals. BATTLE CLAWS - A sharp iron foot with hinges that you wear on the talons. GA- Great spirit CHURR- Laugh FRINK- a rude word that means to severly irratate, as in "it frinks me off" NEST DECIMATION- When nests are destroyed and owlets are on the ground. YARP - To cough up a pellet YEEP- When a bird's wing lock up and they lose the instincts to fly. GLAUX - Owls higher being (god). RYB- Teacher/chaw leader Now that this is straight, enjoy. AT THE GREAT GA'HOOLE TREE "Uuuurg..." "Wake up Twilight!" Soren was shaking him from his slumber for some reason. "What is it Soren?" "The search and rescue chaw  is going on a mission. Get up." "Ok, I'm going." "Don't forget your battle claws." "Oh yeah, thanks." Soren passes him his battle claws, then Twilight gets up and starts flying to the public flying branches to meet up with the search and rescue chaw. He got there just as the chaw leader started talking. "...and we will arrive at.. Oh good, Twilight you're here." She took out her checklist and checked off Twilight on her list. She continued, "We will arrive at Cape Glaux. Twilight, you will be paired with Felix." Twilight blurred out the chaw leaders pairing, turned around and stared at Felix, another Great Gray owl, who did not seem to notice his staring. "Any questions?" Twilight put up his talons. "Yes Twilight?" Twilight replied, "What is this anyways?" "Nest decimation. You need to be prepared to pick up owlets." "Good glaux. More nest decimation?" "Yes." The chaw started to take off into the night for Cape Glaux, but before leaving, Twilight heard a voice and turned around. "Good luck Twilight!" It was Gylfie. "Thanks Gylfie." ON SOME SHORE "Ow. My leg." Twilight looked around and all she saw was sand and water. Twilight thought to herself, This seems to be some sort of beach, great. Where am I anyways? Then she heard a voice. "Help! Anypony? Please help me!" "Rainbow Dash!" Twilight yelled. "Help!" Twilight climbed up the small cliff and saw a little ravine, and heard shouting from it, so she raced over to it and looked down and saw Rainbow Dash trying to fly, but her wings being stuck between two rocks. RD looked up and saw Twilight and said, "Oh hey Twilight! Can you help me? I seem to be stuck." Twilight reached down and grabbed RD and pulled. RD was not budging, but with a little more pulling, RD came right out. "Oww... My wing.... Thanks Twiilight... But where are we anyways? "I don't know.", replied Twilight. Rainbow Dash said, "That was crazy." "What was?" RD answered,"I just fell asleep in the middle of a meeting, and then all I could see was some vortex-looking lke portal-thingy.." Twilight laughed. "I think it's called a wormhole, Rainbow Dash." She then looked up and saw... An owl? "Oh good, Owlicious is here," Twilight said as Owlicious landed beside her, "Maybe he'll know how to get off of here." Rainbow Dash randomly asked, "What's that dark shape over there?" Twilight responded by looking over there and saying, "I don't see anything. I'm tired, we should rest up." "We'll need to find a good place to rest.." After looking several minutes with no luck, Twilight said, "Nevermind.. I think we'll just have to sleep here. Goodnight." AT CAPE GLAUX "Ok. Everyone ready?" The search-and-rescue chaw to fly off into different directions. The tracking chaw also came along to help them look for owlets around the cape. Twilight divided his attention between Digger below and Felix, who was flying over him. He had retracted his battle claws, because there seemed to be no enemies around, and it was necessary to pull them in while picking up a fallen owlet. What was all these owlets doing here? Was there two opposing forces fighting, dropping owlets while fighting? Twilight flew over to behind a bush and saw... "Digger, get over here!" Digger ran over (Yes, Burrowing Owls run, they are good at it.) and asked, "Whats up, Twilight?" "What in Glaux is that?", after pointing to a fallen pony. Both Twilight and Digger blinked. "I don't know, get someone else over here, they might know." Twilight yelled, "We need some help over here!" After waiting a few seconds, the ryb and Felix landed beside them. "What is it Twilight?" The chaw leader asked. "That's what it is." All of them turned and faced the sleeping Twilight Sparkle.  The ryb let out a gasp. "What is it?", she asked. Twilight replied, "We don't know, we just found it and we were asking the same question." "Well, bring it back to the tree, We might find out what they are." Then they heard a yell. "Could I have some help please!" Twilight grabbed Twilight and the four of them flew over to Primrose (Pygmy owl). Digger asked, "What is it Primrose?" "I found some four.. Ahh!" She screamed as she looked over at Twiilight holding Twilight and said, "That... that....." Twilight finished her sentence for her. "Four legged animal." "Yeah. That four legged animal almost looks like what I found, but the one I found has wings.." "WHAT!?" "Look here." She moved a bush and... "Rainbow Dash...... Huh? What is... Oh sweet Celestia!" All of them turned around to face Twilight who had awoken from her slumber. Twilight asked, "What are you?" "I'm a unicorn. Twilight Sparkle to be exact. What are you?" "We are all owls. I'm Twilight, this is our chaw leader, Digger,  Felix and Primrose," Twilight replied while pointing and each one in their respective order, "And who is this 'Rainbow Dash' that you speak of?" Twilight replied, "Her." She pointed at Rainbow Dash and said, "She's a pegasus." Soren swooped in, landed and asked, "A what?" "A pegasus. It's a horse breed called a pony with wings," Otulissa also swooped in and answered Soren's question, "I have never seen one, only read about it." Twilight responded, "Well we better get back to the tree, both of you will need a home for a while." Authors note: I almost lost this because of my comp... D: anyways, hope you enjoyed.
