//-------------------------------------------------------// Twilight's Spell -by Viynl Scratch- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The Spell //-------------------------------------------------------// The Spell "Umm, Twilight? Why did you need me?" "Because we're going on a little trip Rainbow" "And where is that?" "We're going Time Traveling!" "Whoa Whoa wait! We are going time traveling?" "Yes!" "I'm so so so glad you chose me to come! I wonder where we end up? WHAT IF there is a super ultra cool monster! I've been dying for something to fight!" "Maybe we will! But just remember Rainbow, we mustn't be seen or else...DEATH" "Death?" "Well, not exactly death but..." "Then why did you say death?" "Because if we are seen we could change the future! Or past" "Uh huh, gotcha ya, I think" Rainbow Dash looked around Twilight's castle library. The books were placed neatly on the shelves ordered neatly and correctly. There were small candles set about the room, all burning. Twilight appeared next to Rainbow, following her gaze as she looked around the room and all of it's neat-ness. "Are we going to perform the spell here? Cause like, it's really clean and I don't think Spike would wanna clean it all up again," Rainbow said, looking towards Twilight. "Well, umm, I didn't think about that, I would hate for Spike to have to clean up another mess. We could go to my lab, but it's got all of those chemicals, maybe an empty room would do, I mean, it is empty, nothing to make a mess of," Twilight replied, "Let's go find a room!" "K," was all Rainbow could reply with. "Ahh here we are!" Twilight said after a half an hour of searching for an empty room. "About time we found one," Rainbow replied, taking a few steps into the empty room made of crystals. One window was on the far wall towards the left with some of Rarity’s purple curtains. She must have ignored the fact that they were there. "Right then, let's get started! First the checklist; Saddle bags with supplies like food and medicine?" "Check" "Warm clothes if it gets cold?" "Check" "Money?" "Ugh, check" "A disguise for each of us?" "Um, Why in equestria would we need that?" “Just in case, now do we have them or not?” “Yeah” “Good” “I fail to see why we need them anyway” “Just don’t worry about it” “Ugh fine” "Ok, that's it, are you ready for this Rainbow?" "Ready as I'll ever be!" Twilight fired up her horn, causing a faint purple aura to cover it. Rainbow stood as still and as close to Twilight as possible, not wanting to mess anything up. Twilight closed her eyes, deep in concentration, nothing was to bother her. A purple laser shot out of Twilight's horn and the aura surrounding it disappeared. The small purple laser surrounded the two ponies as they started to rise in the air. Right when they were about to hit the roof, the laser turned into a large bubble that encircled the ponies. The bubble was to hard to see out of, causing Twilight to start to panic. "Oh no oh no oh no! Why is this happening? It shouldn't! No no no! I-" Rainbow put up her left hoof to silence Twilight, putting her right hoof and set it down on Twilight's back. Just as Rainbow was about to say something, the bubble popped and what was looking at them were huge creatures holding weapons and snarling at them. "Uhh, what are those things?" Rainbow asked staring at the creatures with uncertainty. One began to laugh, and loud obnoxious laugh. It had a red-ish mane as ponies would call it, with big muscular arms. "And the talking blue yak with wings says; What are those things?! This is to much!"  it said, laughing some more. It's companions began to laugh as well at the 'talking blue yak' . "Ahem, jokes aside, what should we do with them?" "I dunno sir" one of his companions answered. "Oh so it's a he, never could of guessed" Rainbow thought aloud by accident. That caused all of the creatures to look at her. She gulped and pushed herself against the wall behind her. Wait wall?! Twilight looked back and forth between the odd two legged creatures and her friend. That's when she realized that they were on a boat. In the middle of the sea. Great, just great, Twilight thought to herself before backing up to stand next to Rainbow. "How about we chop em' up, I bet they taste real good" "Agreed" "Hey Hildegard, fetch me my axe" That's when Twilight and Rainbow made a run for it. No way were they becoming these creatures' food! Sadly, the boat was rather small, so they really were only running circles around the creatures. "Here you go Dagur sir," said the creature named Hildegard. "About time to, look at em! Their like a bunch of lost puppies!" replied the creature named Dagur. Twilight and Rainbow stopped running for a moment and looked at the double headed axe in Dagur's 'hooves'. Dagur turned his gaze towards them with an evil grin. "Here yakky yakky! Come to dear old Dagur!" "Thing is, we ain't yaks!" said Rainbow harshly. "Oh whatever, just get over here!" It took one more glance at the axe in his 'hooves' to make the decision. Rainbow and Twilight spread their wing s to fly away, pushing off the ground, but it was to late. The creatures had grabbed them and were pulling them back down to the deck of their vessel.  Just then, a faint whistling sound passed them in the form of a white blur. "ENDERFURY GET DOWN!" The whistling noise passed, but Rainbow Dash was gone. "Hey were did that blue one go?" Dagur asked, turning around and looking into the sky. The whistling noise came again, although this time it was a black blur. "HICCUP!" The black blur, deemed Hiccup, snatched up Twilight, shooting into the sky. "HEY LEMME GO!" Twilight heard Rainbow yell at her captor. "Hey calm down there missy, I ain't gonna hurt ya!" Her captor replied. "Neither of us will," said Twilight's captor. "Let's just get back to Berk" Rainbows captor said before nudging ride and made a soft growling noise. The creature nodded it's big white head and headed in the direction of Berk. Twilight and her captor followed closely behind. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Sky //-------------------------------------------------------// The Sky Their captors were talking to each other as the flew through the sky. Twilight picked up a few things, mainly that they were on the backs of dragons, their captors were humans, which now made sense to Twilight, and they were going to a place called Berk. Rainbow on the other hoof was picking up way more than she was. They tried to talk, but they were going to fast. "Hey, would you mind if, I dunno, I just flew?" Rainbow asked her captor, who's name was Tay, well that is what she had picked up. "Can you really fly this fast? I mean really, there's no way," Tay replied, looking back towards the blue pony behind her, clinging onto the saddle for dear life. "Yeah well you could always just tie a rope to me and let me glide," Rainbow yelled over the wind. Tay looked over towards Twilight's captor, who's name was Hiccup. He nodded and yelled over, "She has wings, just let her do it, with a rope of course!" "Uh huh, I still think this is a bad idea," she mumbled before getting a rope out of her saddle bags and tying it around Rainbow's mid-section. Rainbow grinned before hopping off the white dragon's back. Spreading her wings, she glided behind the two dragons, realizing just how fast they really were going. Now passenger-less, Tay nudged her dragon and urged her to go faster. With a mighty beat of her wings, the female dragon sped up a good amount, passing Hiccup and Toothless. As much as Twilight enjoyed riding on Hiccup's dragon, she to wanted to glide through the air with Rainbow Dash. She whispered into Hiccup's ear and asked if she could do what Rainbow was doing. He shrugged and grabbed a bit of rope and he to tied it around her mid-section.  She rolled of of his dragon's back, spread her wings and glided behind him. "Hey slow pokes, you gonna catch up?" Rainbow asked looking back. Tay turned her gaze back and a grinned slyly. "Hey Hic, race you to that sea stack," Tay said before nudging her dragon who in turn beat her wings faster before plummeting to the ocean below. Rainbow followed closely behind, beating her wings so that she flew next to them. Hiccup nudged his dragon as well, shooting after her. They laughed, their dragons speeding up even more. Tay slowed a few feet away from the sea stack, looking like they were going to crash but thankfully the didn't. They landed neatly on top. Rainbow walked over to where Twilight was before they both collapsed. "Looks like we're spending the night here," Tay said towards Hiccup. "You said it Taylor," He replied, "Good night," "Night" Rainbow woke in the middle of the night. She attempted to get up, but there was a rope net spread across her and Twilight with rocks holding it down so that they couldn't leave the sea stack, as if they wanted to. Rainbow nudged Twilight with her muzzle. "Hey Twi, wake up" "Mhmm, in a min," she mumbled sleepily. "No Twilight, wake up now" "But I'm tired, just go to sleep" "Our captors are asleep, come on, lets go now while we can" "FINE FINE I'm up" "But you need to get this rope off of us" "Oh, well that's a problem" "Um, how? You have magic" "I know that, but that would be suspicious, just get my knife" "You brought a knife?" "Yeah, now give it to me" "Here you go," Rainbow handed over the knife to Twilight, "Guess it's a good thing you packed it" "Yup, it definitely serves a purpose" "You said it" Twilight cut open a hole large enough for them to fit through. She climbed out and got her hooves untangled from the ropes. Rainbow followed, only her hooves weren't tangled up. "Let's fly that way," Rainbow said, pointing her hoof to the north, "Probably somewhere there is an actual island that we can rest on, and then you gotta figure out what happened and get us home" "Right, got it" With that, the two ponies took off towards the north, unknowingly heading straight to their captor's place called Berk. Taylor and Hiccup, Rainbow and Twilight's captors, woke the next morning. One glance towards the ropes with zero ponies inside caused them to panic. "We gotta find them"
